Devil Summoner

Versung: Peelotun Cry if you want to. Your tears are full of spite and sorrow This world betwixt that, that is Quick; And that, that is dead The line between thins Into non-existence And the world Into pandemonium And so begins the descent To hell and beyond The Heroes are called upon To give their lives; yet they hope for a safe return And the creatures of the night cry “Won’t the Heroes spare us” And the beasts of the hunt cry “Won’t the Heroes spare us” And the rogues of the forest cry “Won’t the Heroes spare us.” And the vixens of the sea cry “Won’t the Heroes spare us.” But for all their tears Bitter as they were The world would be saved By the shedding of blood And the world would ascend Through the cleansing by fire And through the ashes The strong will rise The Heroes gone The demons gone The protected gone The gods gone What would be left? A world where the quick, the gone and the makers walk together A world where hope is still strong A world without Heroes Nor demons Nor the protected Nor gods A world where they are As one The Peelotun we called them And they prospered without measure.
