Team Aurum

Aurum likes money more than they like blood, which makes Team Aurum marginally more tolerable by law enforcement than their rivals. They usually rely on blackmail and bribery to get what they want – and what they want tends to be very, very expensive, such as rare stones and exotic Pokémon. The leader of Team Aurum actively encourages her subordinates to dress sharply and speak clearly, lest a clumsy, lowbrow grunt tarnishes Aurum’s golden reputation.

Team Aurum operates out of Vermillion City, using the port there to receive their illicit goods. They’ve modeled part of their operations after Team Rocket, and run a casino in Vermillion. Turn in enough winnings, and they’ll reward you nicely… with a rare and exotic Bidoof from a faraway land.
Sophisticated and professional, with a golden touch.
Team Aurum's emblem is a single gold coin, usually drawn as a circle with a dot in the middle.
