Luffy's fighting style consists of adept hand-to-hand combat, supplemented with his physical prowess and the abilities of the Gomu Gomu no Mi. Luffy's fighting style is completely improvised; it follows no particular code of honor, and so if necessary, he will attack women or animals, hit below the belt, attack his enemies even if they have their backs turned or are otherwise unprepared or unsuspecting, use enemies as human shields and even bite his opponents. While fighting, Luffy has been shown to be highly adept at improvising, and regularly comes up with creative counterattacks and unusual techniques to use against his enemies. This however leads both enemies and allies alike to wonder if Luffy is taking the fight seriously, especially when he comes up with ridiculous and over the top moves, which prompts Luffy to respond that he's always serious.




Best Aspect

As captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy has immense physical strength, and is capable of lifting up large boulders, breaking stone, shattering steel with his bare hands, pushing apart large buildings, and shoulder flipping a large man. Luffy's sheer physical strength and dexterity is a result of his grandfather's unorthodox training methods (such as being thrown into a bottomless ravine, tied to a balloon, thrown into a forest at night, etc.) and he claimed he had a punch as powerful as a pistol even at seven years of age. His endurance and durability is incredible; taking continuous, deadly assaults from powerful opponents that would have killed a normal person easily in most of his fights, yet still being able to stand up and continue fighting effectively. Luffy also possesses tremendous speed, agility, and reflexes to match his strength and endurance. In fact, on more than one occasion, Luffy was able to anticipate moves and counter attacks that would normally be beyond his field of vision due to his sharp reflexes. He is also shown to increase in strength quite dramatically in a short period of time. He also possesses extraordinary jaw strength. His vast strength is only exceeded by his enormous willpower.




Flaws

He is heavily susceptible to any form of hypnotism and does not have the sense to turn away. He is also easily distracted when he sees something that's "just too cool". Luffy also has the mysterious and uncanny ability to, while completely asleep, eat as if he were awake, and even knows when more food has been placed on the table. This is probably purely based on muscle memory since what Luffy does best is fighting and eating. It's been shown on several occasions that meat may act as more of a power source than simply a favorite food for Luffy, as whenever he becomes exhausted or tired from a fierce battle, he simply eats some meat and he's back in fighting condition again. Luffy has the horrible inability to draw and do chores. Even though Luffy is a sailor and the captain of his ship, he has no sense of direction. He believes that if one is to go north, he has to head in a "cold-ish" direction. As a result of this, coupled with his ability to get stuck in certain situations, he tends to arrive barely in time to fight his opponent. He can't swim as well.

Personality

Luffy's two dominant traits are his apparent lack of intelligence and his utter fearlessness. Luffy can easily be amazed by the simplest things, such as hermit crabs, and can be confused by concepts such as that by digging a hole right next to another he may be unintentionally filling the other hole. He likes monsters and will ask weird creatures to join his crew. He also has no knowledge of medicine. If Luffy finds something he does not understand, even if someone explains in detail, he calls it a "mystery thing". One of Luffy's running gags is asking "non-humans", if they can poop. The same cannot be said when he is on the field of battle, though; he has been known to dodge bullets with ease. It has been stated more than once that Luffy's instinct and behavior is similar to that of a wild animal's, like when he knows who he has to fight before he even gets to the battle. Even his fights show this as he relies on his instincts and counter attacks. This compliments the way he views the world. He is most often seen smiling, except in a fight where he is forced to use all his power (and sometimes even then). Luffy also seems to rarely change personality wise. Because he views the world in a straightforward and simple manner, he is occasionally the only person who can see past events that have taken place and realize the true goal, yet at other times he can fall into the simplest of traps. He is, however, a genius when it comes to fighting. Luffy's simple attitude and naïve comments during fights are often mistaken by his opponents as poking fun at them. Due to this, many of his opponents lose their cool and charge at him in anger. Luffy's personality is like that of a child's, in the sense that he tends to go to the extremes. He can either be extremely greedy, especially in cases of food, who his crew is, and adventure; or extraordinarily selfless, going so far as to virtually sacrifice himself to avenge or protect his friends, crew, and family. This childish mentality of his allows him to get to the root of the problem, and allows him to figure out the most simple way of solving it.

Appearance:

Her hair color is hard to describe, as if someone put light brown and silver together. Her natural hair color as a child was actually chestnut and up to her shoulders, although after consuming the Devil Fruit, her locks have cascaded down beyond her waist, became fuller, stronger and silkier, even granting her a silvery glow. Her eyes are nothing out of the ordinary, still as brown with dark lashes as they'll ever be. As a result of her hair absorbing most of the nutrients in her body, it has made the rest of her frame frail, with no muscles. Before her pirate days, Asuka never had many chances to go outside of her kingdom, leaving her skin pale with a natural pinkish flush.


Her normal go-to is a flowing white dress. Even though it is quite expensive in normal standards, Asuka decides to wear it because of it's connections to home. Asuka also likes to adorn herself in her signature diamond bracelets, claiming it could bring her "luck". Her hair is normally tied back in a ribbon in normal occasions, but in her chambers or garden, it is down. Due to her new abilities, she wears a white rose in her hair to enhance them when she is away from her makeshift garden. Her posture and walking style is similar to that of a contemporary dancer, graceful, yet informal, even though they are not the most coordinated.

Best Aspect:

Because of her Devil Fruit, Asuka has exceptional healing abilites. Think, Chiyu Chiyu no Mi, but with her hair. Other than her naturally stylish cascades, with a simple song and stroke of the hair, she is able to heal almost every wound or injury, Asuka is even able to sew body parts back together. Whenever plants are around Asuka, they always tend to bloom a bit brighter, making her a great gardener. In fact, whenever she is around white roses specifically, they seem to enhance her powers even more. In a pinch, she can even make water out of her hands as a last resort similar to her healing silver locks, making her a valuable team member all in all.


Other than her Devil Fruit, she is gentle, intuitive and intelligent, knowing how to calm someone down and brighten the mood. Asuka also has the uncanny ability to talk herself out of most situations. She also has basic medical knowledge, not one of an actual surgeon, but more than the average joe/pirate, like a typical family doctor or healer. I guess being rich helps too.




Flaws:

Other than standard Devil Fruit weaknesses to the sea and such, her weaknesses and personality can make her powers quite limiting. When sewing body parts back together, she must have existing parts in order to perform the procedure and she also cannot heal diseases or anything life threatening such as a stab to the heart. The most she could do is probably clean off the blood. As well, the water out of her hands has a limited number of uses, as too much can lead to extreme dehydration that Asuka cannot cure with her hair alone. Without white roses, it can take her twice the amount of energy to perform her powers. Asuka cannot cut off locks of her hair, once it is cut, it simply grows back a light brown strand, rendering it useless and weak. Her brown strands are usually n0t a problem, as her hair can regenerate back to being silver/brown. This means in order to use the full potential of her powers, it is best to physically bring her along, even though in fights or dangerous areas are detrimental to her frail body. Other than her Devil Fruit weaknesses, she is simply uncoordinated and clumsy. She would most likely have a bounty for her abilities or for the fact she is a runaway, not of violent criminal acts.

Personality:

Asuka is a gentle spirit. If it wasn't for her backstory, she would probably not be in a group of misfit pirates. She is humble, not really being the type to brag or demand money for her abilities. Asuka is very idealistic and generous, but not to the point of being naive. Being a princess, she is intelligent and aware of politics and the news around her. This also means being polite, persuasive, shrewd and talking yourself out of situations are her strong suits. Asuka can be feisty and a bit prideful at times, but she knows she is a valuable member of the team, even with her weaknesses. As much as the members rely on her, she relies on them as well for protection and asking to steal books or medical equipment for her. Asuka, surprisingly is an introvert. Although she is charming and able to keep up a conversation, Asuka is more comfortable just being alone and smelling the roses. Some of her bad traits include being secretive about her past and being impulsive and insensitive when angered, one example offering Suzumaki gold and for running away.




Backstory:

"How rude, how about we change the topic?"


Asuka Rin-hime was born on October 15th in a flourishing kingdom of Highgarden in South Blue. Highgarden was famous for it's natural resources, all around warm weather, beautiful flowers and southern hospitality. Asuka was happy being the second born daughter of the kingdom, enjoying the lavish lifestyle and having handmaidens handle almost everything for her. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, reading, and astronomy, her favorite flowers being roses.


That was until she realized how sexist and traditional Highgarden's values were, her own mother and father scolding her for reading books or for studying instead of cooking and sewing. Asuka tried to protest, saying her strengths in politics and intellectual hobbies could be beneficial to the kingdom only to be met with another scold and... a marriage arrangement to a total bastard rich kid from another kingdom. This was the requirement for all princesses the age of 18. She had met this guy a total of three times, and that was simply all she needed to know that he was everything she wasn't looking for in a guy, let alone a husband for life. Monarchies were not kind to women, let alone powerful princesses. Asuka knew that if she stayed with her kingdom, she would be absolutely miserable.


There was also another part to the story. Asuka fell in love with a knight in the guard privately assigned to protect her and pursued a relationship in secret. He treated her like an equal, like a human being instead of a princess to wed. As the days got closer and closer to the wedding, he knew that even if he would never see her again, Asuka would be happy escaping the kingdom. The knight even slipped in some Chiyu Chiyu no Mi into her dinner, thinking it would help her out in the wild with her frail body, making her gain her healing abilities. He even helped Asuka pack her things and leave.


She stayed at a inn by the coast for a couple of weeks until she saw a pirate ship recruiting members... and Asuka simply knew. Without hesitating, she dropped a bag of golden coins on the captain's lap and told her about her healing abilities, wanting to leave Highgarden in exchange for shelter. "Have all the gold you want, I just want to leave this place and I don't care what I have to do. I will make sure your crew stays alive." That was all she needed to say. Little did she know, the knight had packed with her a pack of white rose seeds and one extra Chiyu Chiyu no Mi. That helped her eventually start her makeshift garden in the sick bay. Until then, she has no regrets. Asuka's life may not be as comfortable now, but at least she was happier with the crew than with some bastard in Highgarden.

Shizuka is a shy, soft spoken women. Her voice is practically a whisper, and her gaze is usually locked on the floor instead of on the people she's talking to. Not rudely or anything; she just finds eye contact a little difficult at times. If you do strike up a conversation with her though, she'll not back down, so don't worry too much about annoying her, she actually really likes talking! It can just be hard, y'know?


Another thing to note is that she's terribly easy to fluster. A simple comment like 'I really liked that song you sang!' or 'Your hair looks great today!' can set her in a huge embarrassed tizzy, and if the blush on her cheeks doesn't tell you that, then her frenzied mannerisms will. However, depending on who you are, she can actually get rather snappy when in her embarrassed state, and the sweet girl will be gone. Her tone will actually break its sheepish whisper and she'll batter the life out of you (well, to the best of her ability, anyways. She isn't that strong).


Overall, Shizuka is just a gentle, quiet woman with a heart of gold. Just don't get on her bad side; you might find yourself in deep water. Literally.




Backstory

"... I-I'd rather not get into details..."


To her parents, Shizuka was everything they ever wanted; a sweet little girl who loved the world with all her heart. They weren't the richest of family's, but having their little girl greet them with a beaming smile every morning was worth more than any amount of money in the world. For five years they taught their daughter all about sailing and the world around her, and everything was good and well. That is, until one unfortunate night...


A group of thugs attacked the precious island where they lived. The tiny town was destroyed; building were burnt to a crisp, everything was ransacked, and the majority of people were murdered, regardless if they were mere babies or elders who could barely raise a finger. Shizuka's mother was one of those people, and it happened right in front of her eyes. The older woman was stabbed from behind as she tried to save her sobbing daughter. The blade pierced straight through her heart, and lifeless jade eyes locked with the terrified girl's own as she collapsed on the ground. The murderer then ripped the sword out of her body before moving towards Shizuka, but before he could even as much raise the sword in his hand, the girl's father had shot him down from the doorway. What happened next, she doesn't quite remember as the next coherent memory was arriving on the island where her uncle and aunt lived, but she recall screaming, crying and the smell of gunpowder and smoke.


After moving, everything returned to its peaceful state once mid, but Shizuka had changed. She wasn't the lively, bright child she used to be; the pink haired girl was a lot more withdrawn and quiet. For a good two years she refused to murmur any word at all, much to her father's dismay, for the trauma of that night ran continuously through her head. Every night she awoke to the same nightmare; always ending with her mother's glassy eyes staring her down as she'd scream for it all to end. Her father would instantly be at her side , but it was only when her uncle comforted her in that state when things began to change once more. That night, he brought the seven year old to his music store and taught her how to play a simple song on the piano. For the little girl, the experience completely blew her mind, and from then on any time she awoke in the middle of the night, she would be taught how to play a new instrument. As her skill grew, the more she would talk, and it eventually got to the stage where she could not only have complete conversations again, but she could also play every single instrument in that store. At the age of fifteen, she began to help her uncle run the place, and in the evenings she would perform for the customers and take any request they wanted. Her aunt taught her to sing, her father to dance, and it was then that he finally saw his precious girl back to her original self. He couldn't have been happier. Every day, as the sun would set, the both of them would watch as it fell into the sea and the stars begin to shine. The occasional words were shared, but the experience was normally shared in silence. On the last night they shared together, the old man began to tell his daughter his dream;


"I wanted to travel the world, you know." Kaoru began, leaning on to his palms. Shizuka glanced towards her father in confusion, but before she could question him, he continued his words with closed eyes, "See what it held for me... And so that's what I did. I got a crew, and we sailed all over!" A soft chuckle escaped his lips at the nostalgic memory. "But we only got on to one island before I decided I had enough. You know why?" An eye opened to glance at his daughter, and the girl shook her head. "I met your mama. If I didn't believe in love at first sight before that, boy did I after seeing her... She looked a little bit like you, actually. Just with darker hair." He paused once more, releasing a sigh and a smile. "And she hated me too. Gah, how we fought... But you know what they say, love and hate has a very thin line between them. We eventually went out, I let my crew leave without me, and we had you several years later..."


"... Papa?"


"Hmm?"


Shizuka glanced outwards at the sea, a calm expression on her face. "Do you ever... Regret... Not going back with your crew...?" A soft chuckle was her answer. "Not really, no. But I used to dream about what would have happened if I had left." Raising from his sitted position, Kaoru averted his gaze to the sky above him with a soft hum. "Do me a favour, Zuka? Travel for me." The girl raised a brow. "Share your music with everyone you meet, and write me a letter every so often. This old man wants to hear all about your adventures, after all." Rubbing the top of her head with a smile, the father helped her to her feet before they began their journey home.


In the middle of that night, Kaoru passed away in his sleep and was discovered with a smile gracing his features, a note and a locket with a key attached in his hands. The note informed that if his daughter carried this necklace, then he and her mother would always be with her, no matter what. And so, at the age of nineteen, Shizuka had lost both parents without as much as a 'goodbye' from either of them. With the final conversation of her father and herself playing on her mind, the pink haired girl knew she was going to complete her father's dream for him, and the rest is history.

Personality

Soji is fiercely competitive. If it can be turned into a contest, he'll make it into a contest. He tends to gloat upon victory, but if he loses he's one of those dudes who can always find an excuse as to why. Despite his competitive nature, he never gets into games or contests that he can't win, for instance: fist fights. In fact, he has no shame in backing out of a challenge that he can't win, so he's not exactly arrogant. Soji prefers to use his brain to find his way out of sticky situations. He's kind of like a Macgyver type guy, he's good at crafting things, making traps, and coming up with clever schemes. He loves alcohol and stays at least a little bit drunk throughout the day. Soji is bluntly honest when sober, but this trait gets turned all the way up when he's furiously drunk. The man refuses to mince words, beat around the bush, or sugarcoat anything. Though he usually means no harm, he can come off as offensive at times. He's rarely ever angry and is usually pretty relaxed. He has a quick wit and is sarcastic as holy hell.




Backstory

From...the...east side of the blue he was born and raised, in his father's tavern is where he spent most of his days. Sorry I couldn't resist. Anyway, Soji's parents own a tavern on a little island known as Kawanda. His father is a bartender by night and brewer by day, while his mother is a bartender by day and a bar wench at night. Soji's father, Cicada, is known for his...erm...creative cocktails. His upbringing was about what you would expect, he didn't particularly get along with his father but he still loved the man. Cicada expected Soji to inherit the tavern, but Soji had other aspirations. Since he was a child, he's had a natural sense of good aim. His mother, Yulia, gave him a slingshot when he was younger, and so began his obsession. The child's dream quickly became apparent, much to the dismay of Cicada. In preparation for Soji's inevitable departure from Kawanda, Cicada and Yulia had another child, this time a little girl named Saroko. Saroko was born when Soji was 12, and by then, he could hit a person between the eyes with his sling from about 40 feet away.

Cicada let the boy drink at age 13, and it was then that the boy found his second love: alcohol. It was looking like he might run the tavern after all, but as he reached his late teens, he expressed to his parents that his heart was in shooting things. That's when Cicada finally began to support his aspirations, and gave him two flintlock pistols. Soji left home at 18 hoping to become renowned for his shooting. As he traveled across the islands of East Blue, he challenged pirates to shooting competitions, and began to develop his reputation. All of his weapons with the exception of his pistols were won in shooting (or in the daggers' case, throwing) contests. He was eventually recruited as a member of a crew but his blunt honesty got him kicked out when he wouldn't kiss the inept captain's ass, like most of the other members. It was at this time that he began searching for other crews to join, often neglecting to mention his East Blue upbringing due to its piss poor reputation.

At age 21, he joined the Thousand Sunny, and so begins the tale of Soji Sento. Though he doesn't use it anymore, he keeps his childhood slingshot on him at all times.

Backstory

Raised in the Killiam Dojo nearby Shells Town in the East Blue, which was one of many Buuda Art sword style dojos in the world, most of his family and friends were swordsmen. Despite this however, very early on it was clear that Jake was horrible with swords, and weapons in general. To counter this, he learned and developed his own martial arts style called Bodi?to(??????, or Art of Body), one that complimented his tenancy to fight-to-the-death while also being able to compete with those who were skilled with weapons. After several years of training, Jake finally managed to beat everyone, including his father which was the strongest swordsman there, in the entire dojo. This earned him the rank of Black Dragon, and a tattoo of a yin-yang symbol encircled by a black dragon was permanently put on his chest to prove it. At the age of 15, and his life goal achieved, he felt empty for a moment as he needed to neither train at the dojo anymore nor train at all.

That moment ended when he chose to become the strongest fighter in the entire island, and he trained by himself, away from the help and support from the dojo. This goal however, was easily beaten in a mere year. Now out of options, Jake started to develop a deep emptiness, until a group of pirates came by to attack the town. Beating, and even outright killing some of them, they revealed that there were even stronger pirates out in the open sea. This gave him the idea to set out to sea, however one of his long time friends, Hannah Smiths warned him about what would happen if the only user of Bodi?to would die at sea. Realizing that without it, someone else would have to go through the same hardship he had, Jake went back to the dojo and picked the weakest swordsman there. This boy's name was Eric Nutlea, Eric was Jake's student for an entire year, being taught and trained in Bodi?to.

Once he felt his student could handle himself Jake got the pirates he beat up, forced them to take him out to sea, and then marooned them on a random island. Jake took their small ship to sail for stronger opponents, and after making a method to attack nearby ships for food and supplies, this left him with enough to survive a week, however the more he did it the more damaged the small ship became. Jake decided to take the next ship that went by and kill the captain, but he never expected what would actually happen.

When he tried to attack and plunder a tiny 3 pirate group's ship, Jake ended up losing against the captain. Beaten, bruised, and his pride nearly in pieces, Jake rose up as blood from the wounds left his body. Promising to join the crew if he lost in a rematch, Jake fought as hard as he could, even to the point he continued fighting even while unconscious. However, the captain was leagues ahead of him in speed, and the damage already done to his body effected it to the point Jake could barely even throw a punch. Once his body was completely exhausted, Jake got patched up by the crew's doctor and held to his word. Since his membership, Jake has been training intensely to the point of sometimes damaging his body, and has worked even harder to earn the respect along with the title of Vice Captain, eventually learning to trust in Captain Suzumaki.

Lorenzo is an easy-going guy who has the courage to step out of his boundaries and learn something new every day. He’s got a charming and playful side to him that keeps him from being such a dull character. This daring and courageous dude is an intelligent rebel who often gets a kick out of messing with others or stealing random items.




Backstory

Lorenzo was born into a wealthy family. He didn’t get to bask in the glory of having all those luxuries though. Enzo’s high-class parents were murdered by some assassins when Lorenzo was three. The young boy was then kidnapped and raised by some bandits. They taught him how to steal from the rich and give to the poor. What? You’re surprised? Yep, these bandits were good bandits.

Somehow Enzo’s uncle was able to figure out who Lorenzo truly was after he was caught by a local guard. In no time, Enzo found himself under the care of his uncle who had taken over his father’s position. It didn’t take long for Lorenzo to notice that majority of the upper class was corrupt. As soon as he turned fourteen, Enzo returned to the bandits and resumed living in their ways. A few years later, he found himself joining a crew in order to fulfill his dream.​

B A C K S T O R Y

When she was a young girl, Rikka was working as a ship's cook on a small ocean restaurant called "Orbit" in the East Blue, the pirate Red Leg Zeff and his crew attacked the ship. However, both ships were caught in a sudden storm, and sank. Zeff managed to save the young Rikka from drowning, losing part of his leg in the process and the two were washed onto a rock outcropping, high above the sea. Before the storm tore the boats apart, Rikka cried out his dream to find the All Blue, and was saved by Zeff after.

Despite their good fortune, there was little food for them: a few rations had washed onto the rock with them, but there was no vegetation, no animals, and no way to reach

the water to fish. Splitting up what little rations remained, Zeff ordered for Rikka to sit at the other end of the island, and look for a ship. She protested that Zeff was keeping a large sack for himself, but Zeff brushed him off, saying that as an adult, his stomach was bigger. Days passed, and Rikka had no more food, but there was still no sign of a ship. Many weeks afterward, approximately 80 days, an emaciated Rikka decided to take a chance, and kill the old man for his food. He did not kill Zeff, however: when she slashed open the old man's sack in a fit of rage, she discovered that there was no food inside, only treasure. To his horror, he realized that Zeff had sacrificed his own leg to save Rikka and had not eaten a bite of food in over 80 days.

Zeff confessed that he often lacked food on the high seas, and planned on opening a restaurant on the seas. Rikka, guilty over plotting to kill Zeff, agreed, but Zeff remarked that she was too weak to help. Soon after, a ship appeared, and they were spared from death. Because of this ordeal, Rikka pledged to never refuse food to a starving individual, no matter how evil or poor they may be.

Personality


Kumiko is a bit of a strange boy. He is quirky, sarcastic, and just plain blunt when it comes to people he knows. He likes being the center of attention, as well as teasing others and flirting shamelessly. He's very smart, so I wouldn't test his intelligence or anything of the sort. He is very self-absorbed, and he loves to gloat about himself, enough just to drive someone on the verge of crazy. Also, he is very nonchalant about practically everything. Unless it's an emergency, he will just shrug it off and tell you to figure it out on your own. When it comes to flirting, he's practically an expert. He isn't one for romantic relationships, but he will try to shake things up a bit every once and a while.


Since he is a bit of a tease, he’ll casually flirt most of the time. He is also pretty great at annoying people. He doesn’t mean to be such a horrible person, but he wasn’t treated too well growing up. He practically craves attention, and he only needs it so much because of how he lacked it as a child. He actually can be kind to those he pities, but if he knows you’re doing okay, he won’t comfort you. He has little kindness in his heart, but he tries his best to be patient with others, even though he knows how stupid they may or may not sound.


Backstory


Kumiko was born into a pretty rich family, and he had a decent life until the day he took a bit of the Devil Fruit. Of course, it was childhood curiosity, and his family had basically immediately sold him right off the bat. They knew they were going to make so much more money, as they were power-hungry. He was sold off to male by male, before he finally broke free and got out of the last place he had been locked up. Of course, all innocence was gone, and he had a newfound hardness that hadn’t been there before. There were scars, but they eventually faded, just like his old personality. He had been quite the troublemaker, tearing up relationships and breaking expensive stuff for fun, as well as playing with stranger’s hearts before injuring them and leaving. No one knew who this little…boy was, and they had a hard time figuring out before one of his old masters came forward and revealed his name, as well as the names of his parents. He had been arrested once, but with how cunning he was, he easily escaped. Finally, after years and years of running from authorities and screwing strangers, he had finally come across a crew of pirates. He knew they were in need of a navigator, as he easily picked up gossip from the streets. He showed the captain how wonderful his navigation skills were, and she reluctantly let him join the crew. He’s rather new, though, but that doesn’t mean his skills suffered.

Backstory- Like most who rise to notoriety in the twisting, salt-encrusted labyrinth, Miss Fortune has no shortage of blood on her hands. Yet, it was not always this way, for she was once known as Sarah, the beloved daughter of a renowned gun-dame who lived peacefully at her isolated island workshop. Young Sarah helped her mother in the forge, filing wheel locks, calibrating trigger pulls, or casting custom pistol shot. Her mother’s skill in crafting firearms was legendary, and her bespoke handguns were to be found in the collections of many a wealthy noble. But ofttimes, they were desired by those with more meager means and darker hearts.


One day, young Sarah returned home to hear gunshots and screaming. Her front door was smashed open; inside, she saw her mother lying in a pool of blood. A sudden blow to her head made her collapse next to her slain mother. The last thing she could remember were her attacker's red eyes, as his face was blocked by a rogue's bandanna.


To this day Sarah has sworn on her heart to find the man who killed her mother and bring justice to her and her family. With that in mind she joined a crew of pirates who will help her with her cause.

Personality:Kazuichi is laid back and hates using more than needed effort to do anything which can lead to him not trying hard enough. He also can't stand people who don't know how good they got it. He prefers to just use his brain to win instead of raw power. But when need be he uses his devil fruit to give him an edge. He isn't very social and will mostly keep to himself unless he is asked. He's not afraid to call someone out on a mistake captain or vice captain a screw up is a screw up.

Backstory:Kazuichi was a regular street punk he didn't have a choice he had to he had to eat things were going great thanks to an accident he manged to steal a devil fruit and get powers from it. But everything changed when he stole from the wrong person. He tried to steal the purse of some lady who looked maybe a few years older then him. He figured easy steal but ashe tried to pull on the purse he was yanked back and thrown to the ground. He got up ready to fight but was almost immediately put right back down. The woman found this funny and told him better luck next time but Kazuichi wasn't done she was strong he could survive longer in this cruel world with skills like hers. Surprisingly she agreed but the trainning was brutal he ended up with multiple scars on his body but he learned all her skills. The women Yukari was beginning to grow on him so of course life had to remind him how cruel it was and he came to her place to train only to find her laying in a pool of her own blood. Standing above her corpse was a man with two swords they dripped with Yukari's blood. Kazuichi lashed out in a fit of rage but the man was too fast and ledt him a scar on his back if he didn't have his powers he would had died. He later decided to start bounty hunting to make money to find the guy but his first bounty didn't go as plan. He was supposed to kill some captain of a pirate crew no big deal but when he got there he saw she had beaten some other guy neither one seemed like a joke. He figured hey these guys are strong hang around enough and I'll find that swords men.

Personality


L.G is a snappy fishman with enough attitude to fill up a whole tavern. He is a hard worker, and puts his work above all else. He is quick to anger, but he has a soft side. He cares for his friends, and loves children.


Backstory

L.G was born in Fishman Islands, his parents leaving him home to go sail. His parents were both killed, and L.G was by himself. At a young age, he was exceptionally strong and thick skinned. He fought to survive, doing petty thievery and shady jobs for money. Once he was in his teens, he was imprisoned for beating down some thugs, and the thugs told the Guards that L.G attacked first for no reason. L.G stayed in prison for 6 months until a young man named Shole broke him out and recruited L.G . That was when L.G learned about humans, their culture, their religions, everything. Sadly, two years later, his entire crew was slaughtered by the marines, and L.G barely survived, running away from The Marines.

Kuro's abilities rely primarily on his resourcefulness and understanding towards engineering. He is also very analytical in battle. He, being a member of the Straw Hat Pirates , has had to face more than one strong opponent. However, in contrast to most of the crew who specialize in superhuman feats of strength, he, instead, uses a number of weapons and gadgets in order to keep up with them. These weapons, coupled with his lying skills, give him a completely unique fighting style of his own called Kuro Tactics, a fighting style which even amazes his fellow crew members.




Best Aspect
​

Kuro's first and foremost weapon is his lies. Derived from his constant lying about pirates invading everyday in his hometown as well from telling outlandish adventure stories to entertain his friends in Syrup Village, he has developed a knack for telling tall tales. These lies are always ridiculously unbelievable, and only the extremely naïve or gullible ever take them at face value. However, despite their unbelievability, his lies have sometimes come true. Regardless of their absurdity, His lies have been surprisingly useful on more than one occasion, and have the capability to be just as effective as any other weapon in his arsenal. In fact, most of the foes that he has fought so far were actually gullible enough to fall for his lies. He also uses deception to a certain extent when he openly declares that he's going to fire a specific projectile at a target, when in actuality, he's using a different one.

Flaws
​

Kuro is naïve and extremely timid towards unfamiliar humans, often acting like a child because he does not know any better. Like Luffy, he is easily impressed at things like beams, cannons and hidden abilities. He is a coward at times, although his cowardice can be attributed to his childishness and overall lack of trust in his own fighting skills. He is more or less on a journey to define himself, seeing almost anyone on his team as a role model and in some cases, imitate their behavior.

Personality

Kuro is an upright friend and companion who will try anything to overcome a task given by his team. He still has a feeling of distrust for humans from his youth, and will often outright insult and claim that compliments do not make him happy even though he is obviously happy about it. He seems to be very forgiving of those close to him. He would rather run and hide than fight, but becomes more courageous when others are there to support him. His childish nature vanishes whenever his skills are required; he does not hesitate in the least in any actions regarding the well-being of his companions. He also tends to panic quickly, and subsequently let some crucial facts slip his mind.




Backstory

Kuro is the son of a pirate who sailed away, leaving behind his wife and son. Kuro began to lie that pirates were coming. He first began this practice when he started yelling to his mother that pirates were coming in the hopes that it would strengthen her spirits enough to keep her alive. After his mother died, he just continued to do so because of the pain of having lost both parents one way or another, leaving himself alone.
