PERSONALITY
Vaughn is a charmer through and through. He's suave and sly like a fox; but more times enough he's been described closer to a bear: protective and overbearing, bold, loud and bellowing, and incredibly humble. He brings a warm and cozy presence with him wherever he goes, and tries to establish pure southern hospitality. He's strict and stubborn with his rules and ideas, and is always used to getting what he wants - or else, he'll roll up his sleeves and fight tooth-and-nail for it. His stature, size, and tattoos may seem intimidating, but once you warm up to him, you'll soon find he's a passionate and old soul.
HISTORY
Vaughn was born and raised in Woodstock, spending his teenage years putting up the Virginia mountains in his beat-up Ford Ranchero. Being an only child, he was a bit lonely - but he had plenty of friends. He played football for a few years in highschool, but transitioned over to the art scene by his senior year. He played guitar for a coffee shop band him and his buddied had as they got through college. He graduated with a bachelor in business, and opened his own brewery. As his successful life was going along, he always had a deep, passionate love for music. And when he heard rumours of the government shutting down the radio biz forever, he cashed out a tanker boat from his buddy in Jersey and shipped himself straight out. He was the metaphorical dad of Pirate Radio.
LIKES&DISLIKES
Simplicity and "the classics", poetry books, a good drink, naps, camping and bonfires.
Arguing, yelling, smart-asses, snarky teenagers, basically any kid under the age of 14, thinking about death and loss.
MANNERISMS
Vaughn must have been a greaser in a past life because he never stops touching his hair. And his beard, god he scratches that thing into oblivion when he's thinking hard enough. He also has a habit of furrowing his brows too much, he's bound to get wrinkles.
RELATIONSHIPS
Vaughn tries to be friends with everyone on the ship, no matter how much they piss him off. And he likes gals as much as the next guy, but he's really not looking for romantic commitment right about now.
