Mist was walking around her home one day when her master was getting ready to work as he let her outside he locked her out she hadnt known this for a while since mist liked to walk to the park and see all the animals she had loved to see younger animals most because she dreams of having a family rather than being alone upon her return to enter she noticed the dog door was locked so she laid out on the patio walkway and stayed there. (Your post said we could start i was waiting for someone to post but i was in a excited state to start. :D )

Vodka ran around the large yard and jumped over the hurdles. Her master happened to be rich and owned a mansion. It happened to be the only mansion in the neighborhood, it was also very large and beautiful. Vodka landed after her last leap and sat down to take a breather. She panted and looked up at the trees.

Whiskey walked down the spiral staircase and looked over at the chandelier. He showed his teeth as if smiling and walked over to the back mansion doors. He looked outside and saw Vodka. He went through the doggie door and walked over to her. She nuzzled her and sat next to her. " Hello sister, I see that you have been training."

Nichole padded around her home and pounced on a ball of yarn. She purred playing happily. "Nichole be a good kitten and we'll bring back your favorite fish. We're going to scope out the competition. " putting Nichole's shiny studded collar around her little neck. Nichole nodded and blinked as the collar blined her fot a second. Her owners left. They had a big house and a nice yard. Nichole smiled and saw birds. "Pretty. " she said and saw the window was open. Nichole scampered over to it and climbed up the curtain.

Vodka nodded and looked down. She didn't usually like to talk about training. She got up and walked over to the fence, she looked back at Whiskey. "Brother, I challenge you to a race."

Whiskey grinned and stood next to Vodka. "I would love to. Eins, Zwei, Drei!" He barked as the two dogs jumped over the fence and ran through the yards of the other houses, they jumped over the tall fences.

Mist was bored and decided to go for another walk waiting for her master to return she ran past a mansion seeing to dogs race and stopped then continued to walk past after watching them she was amused by how everyone had someone and she had a master who forgot about her often, she decided she had better return home after watching the duo run, so she turned and headed back.

Nichole fell and shook her head. She looked around the yard."everything is so big." She started to wonder off the yard. She padded down the sidewalk and hummed. She kept getting blinded by her collar though. Nichole shook her head anf her ears flattened.

Mist saw Nichole and continued walking not really wanting to bother anyone "Aw another young one." Her tail wagged as she continued sniffing the air and walking back home her ears perked and her tail up the tip curled over as she moved over to the sidewalk. she stretched making a small squeek.

Nichole saw the dog. "She looks nice." Nichole said then scampered after her and jumped up for mist's tail. "Soft." She whispered playing with it and yowled as she got blinded by her stupid collar. She rubbed at her hazel eyes whimpering.

"Oh my! are you alright?" mist spoke softly in a worried tone as she nudged the whining kitten. Mist stood blocking the light from the collar with her shadow. She shook her head which made her collar shake yet not blinding since it had nothing shiny on it. "You will be fine, the blinding from a collar doesnt last long." she smiled watching the kitten.

Nichole said"t-thank you. W-who are you?" Tilting her head. She pawwed mist's collar entranced by it. She purred nuzzling mist. Nichole felt safe with the husky. There was a sudden click. Friendship. And Nichole had lost her mother. So she needed a mother figure.

Max woke up from his nap. He was still a young puppy, and didn't understand much about anything. Waddling out of his seemingly endless cage, he looked around. Max barked trying to get someone's attention, notifying them that he was hungry. He continued walking around, though it seemed to him the world was a massive, endless plain of nothingness. He could find nothing or no-one.

"I'm Mist, a purebred Eskimo spitz." Mist lightly wagged her tail while lowering her head to level the kitten and nuzzled her gently. Mist looked her over feeling as if she was to help the kitten and seeing she was curious needed abit of guidance.

Nichole purred more and smiled her stomach growled. the black kitten blinked and said"im nichole. Im a American short hair. C-can you show me how to fish? I dont know how to. And I'm hungry.." her ears drooping.

"I have the perfect place." Mist grabbed the kitten gently placing her on her back and walking to the pond at the park because it was shallow had no current and was clear.

Nichole said"thank you miss mist." Smiling. She smiled looking around and enjoyed the view. The park was beautiful. "Pretty flowers. They smell nice.' She said with a giggle.

"You are very welcome dear." Mist smiled as she laid down for Nichole to hop down. "Here we are. The first trick is patience." she waited until she saw a school of fish and watched for a decent sized one.

Dakota rolls around in the grass in her fenced in backyard. She had heard her humans mother, Stacy, say that it was almost bed time. Dakota loved her humans, but after bed time, she could go out and play with all her friends. She runs back inside and nearly runs into Sarge as he was eating. "Watch it." He growled as he continued to eat. The tall woman warned Sarge about his attitude or something and then went into the living room to finish the 7:00 news. Sighing and waiting her turn for the food, Dakota stares around the kitchen until she spots warm cookies laying on the counter in a pan. Mentally smiling to herself, her mouth waters. She walks over to the counter slowly, sniffing. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Sarge called out to her. Ignoring him, she jumps up, her front paws landing on either side of the hot pan. She tries to reach but she can't reach the closest cookie. Sighing she struggles more and reaches it, but the whole pan comes tumbling down. Running from the loud noise, she runs into Sarge, causing them both to fall, with the cookies on top of them. Dakota tries to get up when she hears footsteps running into the kitchen. The lady comes in and yells at both of them, something about cookies and mess and outside, but what stuck out the most was 'bad dog' whimpering, Dakota goes outside as the lady demanded, following Sarges footsteps. Sarge feels no shame because he took no part in the mess. He only feels anger because of the humans non-understanding of how he was framed. When the lady slams the door angriky, leaving them both outside all night, the two lay down bitterly.

Nichole nodded and crouched watching the fish. She saw the school and licked her jaws her butt rasing up and wiggled some as she zoomed in on one. Nichole pointed to it with her paw. "I see a good goldgish miss mist."

"That what you want to eat?" Mist tilted her head and leveled her body slowly crawling near the water until she could reach it waiting for it to get close enough she could catch it, just then she leaned over the water and quickly jerked at it catching it by the tail and placing it in front of the kitten. "You may not catch one on your first try because water causes an illusion of where to strike takes practice, and patience." she moved so she wouldnt wet the kitten upon shaking her head to remove water from her muzzle. "Wanna try?"

Nichole nodded eagerly and then started to eat the fish happily. She licked her paws and jaws clean. Nichole crouched and watched the water. "Mmm...." her tail swished and her hazel eyes narrowed. Nichole then swiped but missed falling in with a splash. "Cough! Cough help! Help!" She cried trying to keep her head above water.

Mist pulled her out softly and laid her down lightly sniffing her making sure she was alright. "Its alright i got you." she smiled upon knowing she would be alright. "Why dont we get you warm?" she asked and tilted her head.

Dakota slightly gets over her ashamed feeling and starts to pace around the yard. "Stop" Sarge snaps. "Sorry, I just want to get out of this fence." She replies apologetically. "Don't we all." He replies grumpily. "Why are you always so grumpy?" Dakota asks, tilting her head.

"I'm a rescue. What do you think." He says as he gets up and walks away. "Oh, okay." Dakota says as she follows closely. "Why don't we jump the fence?" She asks him carefully, scared to anger him. "Kid, that may be your best idea of all day." He says gruffly as he takes a running start and clears the fence. Dakota follows and does the same. They land in a small strip of clear land that is right in front of a small patch of trees that have a creek/stream flowing through them. "Let's go through the woods. I wanna cool off in the creek." Sarge says as he trots towards the trees.

Nichole nodded and shook off the water shivering. she laid in a patch of sun and purred smiling. Nichole loved the warmth of the sun and the soft grass. her black silky fur started to dry as she napped.

Mist laid beside her and smiled sharing the warmth from her thick fur with a light giggle as she watched over Nichole protecting her from anything that would be rude enough to bother her as she wrapped her tail around the kitten smiling.
