Hey everyone. I'm interested in a role play with character development as well as action and adventure, and I realized Persona fits the bill perfectly for this. Right off the bat I have to say I'm more interested in a Persona 4 situation, where characters need to accept themselves in order obtain a persona. I'd prefer most of adventures in the other world to take place because a character ends up somehow entering it and is in danger of being killed by their shadow. I'm also fine with a little bit of the Persona 5 situation, where the characters enter a person's palace to change their hearts, but I would like it to be more like the situation with Futaba than any of the others. There are also certain things I'm looking for in a partner:
1. To be willing to put in work into this role play. I was thinking that we could each alternate between introducing and playing main characters who need to be rescued as the role play progresses, as well as play a bunch of side characters. It'd be cool if we had one character for each of the arcanas, but that may be a bit much
2. To be able to post every 2 to 3 days. Yeah, I too have a life and get busy, but I feel like this is the bare minimum to keep both our interests in the role play. More posts are always welcome, and I'll try to post more as well. If for some reason you can't post for awhile, please let me know.
3. To be able to post 2 to 3 paragraphs on average per reply. I feel like this is a good amount for me to see, because I won't lose interest with the lack of progression but I also won't be overwhelmed by a wall of text. More or less every so often is of course fine.
4. To be willing to play some m//, f//, and as/against trans characters. A lot of characters I have in mind for this are LGBT, and even though I don't want it to be the main focus of the role play, I would like some romance. I'm also just more into LGBT romance than straight romance, but this doesn't mean I'm against straight romance taking place.
5. To be able to play different types of characters. I want a cast of varied personalities, and I don't want to be the doing all the varying. If all you play are shy, submissive female characters, I don't think we'll be a good fit.
6. To be comfortable with darker themes. I mean these characters have shadows and parts of themselves they want to hide for a reason. I also like darker themes interesting, and have some incorporated with my character ideas. We'll discuss this more before starting though.
And that seems to be it. I'm of course open to your ideas, and willing to discuss or clarify anything. Thank you for reading, and please PM me or post here if interested!
