Chapter One - Dreaming
A handful of students all shared a dream. In the dream, each and every one of them was alone, just themselves and a giant steel gate surrounded by a wall of stone. Beyond the gate lied a vast nothingness, pitch-black and without any visible end. From nowhere appeared a cloaked man wearing a mask, standing beside the gate. They said one sentence, and that one sentence was all that would ever be heard by the group. "Welcome to the Black Garden, young one." After hearing those words, the students were awoken by the morning's arrival, and off to another day at school they would go. Just what did this dream mean, exactly? There's only one person known to have an answer to that dream; the man from the dream itself.
Hidden Story - Past Thoughts
"A Strange dream? Just what is this place? A giant steel gate, unlike anything I've ever seen. I was greeted by a strange man, but he didn't look quite human. He was covered in a large cloak and wore a mask though, so I couldn't get glimpse of his face or see whether or not he really was human. I was told something along the lines of 'welcome to the Black Garden', and then everything just... ended. Dream or not, it's definitely the weirdest thing I've ever seen."
