When he was not on an oversees fishing trip, Ray would return to toughen Hugh up and teach him valuable life lessons. Among these were self defense and the male social-dominant hierarchy.
  
  
  For Hugh Self defense was a necessity. Given his background, he was labeled an outsider by his classmates from the moment he started middle school. It didn't help that he was a head or two taller than most people coupled with the fact that he had a natural scowl. Delinquents found it necessary to challenge him to fights daily and so he earned the nickname of "Foreign Devil of West Hakkushu Middle School".

"Pretty tall for her age" is an understatement... I'd recommend shrinking your character down a little, seeing as the average height of a fully grown male in Japan is approximately 5'10". Other than that though, accepted.

Quite the reputation around the school as one of the more infamous ne'er-do-wells among the student body, having built up quite the posse of his fellow delinquents and thugs to cement his position within the social hierarchy of the school. As such, there's a rather large amount of people who despise the boy, including both the more well behaved students in the school, and his fellow rule-breakers, who often call him and his group out so to further their own reputation.
  
  
  That isn't to say that he isn't without his better traits. He fully considers each and every member of his posse to be a friend, and will go out of his way to avenge them should anyone dare to do them wrong. Additionally, despite is distaste of authority, he sports an unusual amount of common sense. He won't so much as touch a cigarette, has never considered touching alcohol, and spends half of the time that isn't expended on his hooliganism reading books and studying, something that's likely the cause of his 'Leg up' on the rest of the hooligans in the school. It's something that provides a start contrast to his usual rule-breaking bravado, and has even led a few to believe that there's more to the troublesome blonde than appearances would suggest.
  
  
  Though, whether there's any truth to their beliefs is yet to be determined.

  For someone to take on the title of a hooligan, rule-breaker, or bully, the cause can usually be narrowed down to one of a few factors. The first, is a simple lack of control of their own life. Whether caused by over-protective parents, a bustling schedule, or some other factor breaking their maneuverability of time, it can often lead to the person in question building up their frustrations, only to be later be expended on a life of hooliganism down the line. Next, is the simple factor of peer pressure, ala, a young budding teen being pushed by their fellows to venture down a path of delinquency. The last, and perhaps most potent of these, is for oneself to have once been a victim of less-than-reputable fellows, and later elect to gain some sort of revenge by following down the path they tread. Or, in some cases, the victim is simply enthralled by the freedom of action that they possess, and is caught up by that intoxication alone.
  
  
  Daiya falls into the first, and last of these categories.
  
  
  You've heard the story before, I'm sure of it! You know that kid, the one with the SUPER strict foreign parents who expect them to spend nigh on all their free time buried in their schoolbooks? The one who'll yell your ear off and have you commit seppuku just because you got an A- on the last test? Well, yeah, Daiya's folks were a bit like that. Emphasis on WERE, considering that they've toned it down in recent years, but... We'll get to that later.
  
  
  I mean like, his parents parents are pretty clever cookies themselves, playing out a Lawyer-Doctor power couple, so, naturally, they'd want their kid to enjoy the same level of success too, right? Right. And, the only way they really knew how was via some intense study, so the oh-so-young Daiya was subjected to the strictest of schedules, having pretty much zero time to himself during his life. Well, up until Middle School at least. Going through Pre, and Primary School, Daiya struck a stark contrast to his current self, being the resident glasses wearing kid in the corner of the classroom, toting the thickest book he had available to him at all times, and spending practically none of his time with his fellow classmates. And, as you can imagine, this made him quite the prime target for the budding bullies, considering his lack of friends and less-than intimidating stature.
  
  
  That, combined with the constant pressure from his parents was, well, for lack of better terms, quite the pressure on the kid, and by the time he'd made his way through Primary School, he was damn near sick of it. Looking at the assholes that'd bullied him, he sparked up the idea in his head to rebel against his parents, and reinvent himself throughout his middle-school years. He went out, bought a pair a bunch of cheap, disposable contact lenses, a bottle of blonde hair dye, and set about to change things. Of course, walking into school with a head of crappily dyed hair and fumbled contacts wasn't the best way to start things off his only becoming an even bigger target for ne'er-do-wells, but, thanks to an outstanding dedication to his goal (which he likely owes to his parent's enforced study), he would eventually break through the entry barrier and into the echelons of the school's hooligans.
  
  
  His parents, ya'know, OBVIOUSLY weren't amused by the ordeal, but after a couple of months of trying to set him straight through the classic groundings and suchlike, they were clever enough to figure out the source of the issue. Namely being the whole "study or nothing" gig they had going on. Not long after that, they started loosening the noose, in hope that Daiya would in turn back away from the delinquent act he had going on. But that, unfortunately, wasn't happening. He'd apparently taken a liking to the style of life, and wasn't making a budge in response to the leeway his parents were giving him. I mean, he at least started studying again, but, that was only really half of what his parents were aiming to achieve. But, they just kind of figured that he'd grow bored of it and time, and things would balance themselves out.
  
  
  But, if you've been paying attention, it's more than evident that that didn't exactly turn out to be the case. I mean, solid Bs are nice and all, but being arrested tends to overshadow that on, well, any sort of application, doesn't it?

Accepted! ...or I'd like to say, but you've got that backstory left to do and stuff... :x I would like to mention however, that since it's a school full of normal people, the most I'd really see there is like a hanful of groups that are just your slack-offs and class-ditchers, like groups of one to three in about half the classes that do that. Not really many people there for fighting, so don't be expecting back-to-back school brawls or anything like that :x

Personality: Setsuro is a mature, confident individual, an honour student whose academics could be outstanding if she devoted more time to them. As it stands, Setsuro chooses to prioritise her part-time job as a waitress in a local bar. A self-confessed workaholic, she often works long hours and late nights. Spending most of her after school hours in the bar means that Setsuro is in some ways out of touch with the rest of her peers. She is an outgoing girl who finds it easy to make friends, but who has also accrued a reputation for holding petty grudges and for being a killjoy through a strict adherence to school rules.


Setsuro used to belong to a close clique of girls at school. However since starting at her job she has grown apart from them, and finds their squabbling and arrogance irritating. They in turn find Setsuro increasingly boring and disengaged from them. Instead, Setsuro has taken to hanging out with a wider variety of people over the last year from all areas of the school. However she is at her most comfortable when enjoying Tokyo's nightlife after her shift at work, and more often than not she enjoys this on her own.


Backstory: Setsuro has lived in Tokyo for all her life, and has come to know its sights and sounds like the back of her hand, Her parents are both Japanese, her father working in government and her mother as a lawyer. Both are ambitious for their careers, and more than once Setsuro has felt like a hindrance to them, an extra hassle to be managed in addition to their work. When she started at school Setsuro was relieved; she now spent the majority of her day away from home, allowing her parents to do whatever they pleased. It was a comfortable, if unspoken arrangement, and Setsuro grew used to living in a household where the demands of bosses held more sway than the demands of family.


The last two years of high-school have passed easily. Tests were rarely an issue, and Setsuro was fortunate enough to belong to a strong group of friends who, while often quite shallow, did genuinely look out for each other even if for they're own benefit. It was during her second year that Setsuro started working, an attempt to earn enough money to secure her own little apartment. Since then her barwork has been her sole focus, and her academics and social life have suffered for it. Setsuro quickly matured, becoming more of an adult in her manner, but so engrossed in being 'responsible' that she struggles to relax and enjoy her youth. At the start of her third year Setsuro is still at work, and is currently studying for her driving license.

He's the type to break rules just for the sake of breaking them, more often than not ditching school just because he didn't particularly feel like attending a class of two that day. He is in no way above picking on someone, whether they be male or female, should they rub him the wrong way. As such, he has... Quite the reputation around the school as one of the more infamous ne'er-do-wells among the student body, having built up quite the posse of his fellow delinquents and thugs to cement his position within the social hierarchy of the school. As such, there's a rather large amount of people who despise the boy, including both the more well behaved students in the school, and his fellow rule-breakers, who often call him and his group out so to further their own reputation.

Personality:

Lazy, laidback, but a pretty decent human being, when he’s not diving headfirst into situations without looking first. Makoto is known for his extremely low drive in life, choosing instead to get through his school life with barely passing marks and sleeping through every class. It is common knowledge amongst the teachers that Fujiwara can do so much better, if he didn’t appear to be perpetually in sleep mode, other than when it comes to lunch time, or going back home. He is naturally intelligent, absorbs information at an alarming rate, and is quite knowledgeable about various things. The only reason why he isn't topping the school ranks is due to the fact that he just doesn't care enough to bother. His general reaction to studies and work, and even sometimes the lemons that life throws at him, is a simple, lame "Just let it be, man.", and just shoves it onto the backburner.

As a person, Makoto is nothing short of impulsive and direct, if a little blunt. Because of this, he tends to shoot himself in the foot when conversing with others in social situations. He never knows just when to shut his mouth, and this often leads him to end up in situations where he desperately needs to kick himself in the mouth. That said, he also never looks before he leaps, and instead just dives straight in, even if the pool was filled with ravenous sharks.

This behaviour is very apparent when combined with his apparent need to be 'the guy'. If a person needs help, never worry, for Makoto is near! He apparently fancies himself the lady's man, often tries to flirt with the gals, and presents himself as a rather gallant and chivalrous young man. His looks aren't all too bad either, so it sort of works out for him. The only problem with this is that he clams up very easily once he actually succeeds, or decides that it's actually too much trouble. While this may put him in a rather flirtatious light, Makoto is a very dependable friend to have, whether one be a girl or a guy, and is more than willing to assist in any endeavour you make. He WILL whine about it a little, but is otherwise content with helping his pals out.

He goes to embarrassing lengths to reassure people he is straight, and that he wants to keep being straight. He doesn't mind lesbians though. His logic is that lesbians are still chicks, and being attracted to them is still perfectly fine.

Makoto shows a startlingly grounded and realistic mindset several times, dismissing flights of fancy and dreams and the such. During these moments, he tends to be less rambunctious than he usually is, and a lot more blunt and heavy with his words. He is notably very incensed with people who think they can get anywhere just by claiming they can, like some protagonist from anime show on reruns during Saturdays. It is notable that he does not take back what he says when he is in this mood, and is more than willing to argue his point than back down.

Backstory:

Makoto Fujiwara was born in the otaku wonderland that is Akihabara. Of course, the intent wasn't to raise him as an otaku, and more of because of his father's managing duty being shunted to Akiba, particularly at an electronics store that made up about half of Akiba's popularity. There's nothing much to talk about Makoto's early life, or the rest of it for that matter. He was always pinned as a rather receptive young child in all of his classes and was quite well liked as a person. It was just his obtrusive laziness and lack of a drive to go further than he had to that stopped him from being an exceptional student.

Makoto studied in a nearby school in Akiba until he was 16, where he was forced to transfer under unforeseen issues with the school. He was blamed for initiating a fight with the seniors, but due to his unblemished track record, he was given another chance, albeit that he had to be transferred to another school to continue his studies. He now lives in a nearby hostel alone, just to make things easier on himself (and longer sleep times), and has been attending XXX High School for 5 months now. He still exhibits the same laziness that he usually does, but has been observed by his old friends to be more distant than usual.

He was a part of the Going Home Club until he was sort of forced to join one. Prior to his transfer, Makoto was a bassist in a band that he was roped into, comprised of students who were far too careless about clubs. In XXX High School, he is back to being in the Going Home Club, or, at the very least, the Sleep At The Anime/Meido Cafe Club. He is less of a customer to them now than he is of a permanent prop or decoration you find, so much so the staff hands usually allow him to snooze in the staff backroom during rush hours. He pays them back by doing their dishes for them for free.

Temperate. Yuzuki is neither bubbly or reserved, and depending on the one conversing with her, she would either react gently or downright cynical and sarcastic. Compared to her older sister Tsukiko, Yuzuki is much more calm, more stable whereas Tsukiko is much more bubbly and a klutz. Despite her family's conservative upbringing, Yuzuki is much more open to new ideas and unorthodox concepts compared to her sister, as long it is within reasonable means or with the right reasons. Overall, she is pretty much an analytical person, judging a person silently and using her logic from time to time. As such, Yuzuki can be seen as the last one to speak within a conversation, as she prefers to listen first before suggesting anything. This can also mean that she is a good listener and is willing to lend an ear to those who need it, but it is better not to pester her over idiotic and insignificant stuffs, or risk being criticized.

Yuzuki is quite patient. She does not blow off the top of her lid unless she is under the worst circumstances, or people doing things that they should not be doing at the first place. She also prefers to take serious matters carefully. She would be the one who does a lot of planning and preparations before jumping into a frying pan (if there is such a thing), as she does not like getting caught off guard and getting herself burned badly in the process. Also, she is not a saint. Do not expect her to give off free assistance without a proper reason or compensation. If you are referring to her sister Tsukiko however, that would be a different case.

Backstory:

Born in a higher middle class family, Yuzuki was carefully raised by her parents, under the influence of traditional Japanese values and other humanistic-focused values, such as Confucianism. Her older siblings also received the same treatment as well, as her parents wanted them to be successful and able to contribute to the society in an active and progressive manner. Her mother is a lecturer in the famous Tokyo University, and her father is a motivational speaker that focuses on giving inspiring talks to various companies throughout Japan. Despite that she was born into such a comfortable family, Yuzuki had to work her way to get the things she wants, for example getting an A in Mathematics in order to get a smartphone, and constantly living under the leash of her parents, following the path of Yamato Nadeshiko: to become the ideal Japanese woman which is considered very rare in the 21st century. Her older sibling, Tsukiko however did not receive such treatments.

Due to her parents upbringing and her hard work, Yuzuki is considered to be quite adept when it comes to academics. She is also particularly skilled in archery as well, getting runner ups and at one time, a champion within an inter-school competition. Invitations has been made to Yuzuki, asking her to compete in state-level, but she rejected it, saying that archery to her is just a way to letting off steam caused by her demanding parents and real life.

With her older sibling graduated from school and now currently studying in a university, Yuzuki has to decide for her future. Even so, she does not have any plans in store. But then, little she knows that her cage-bound life is going to change...

Both of them met together at their beginning of their first middle school semester and they become fast friends as the other students barely even noticed him. Back then, Daiya looked like a true nerd, sporting a pair of quirky spectacles which Yuzuki giggled from time to time. However, on a one fine day, Daiya has undergone a complete 180 degrees change. Gone are his spectacles, and were replaced with cheap red colored contact lenses and his black hair were replaced with imperfectly dyed blonde hair. Completely surprised with his sudden, stark transformation, Yuzuki confronted him, trying to get the reasons for his actions. However, Daiya reacted adversely to her. From there, their relationship deteriorated as Daiya worked his way into a full fledged delinquent.

Even so, Yuzuki was still determined to salvage their friendship. They set their one last meeting on top of the school's rooftop, before Daiya was once again arrested for his shenanigans. From there, Daiya decided that due to their status differences, it was better that they should separate, going to their own paths. Respecting his final decision, Yuzuki eventually disappeared from his view, the friendship ended amicably. They still cross paths from time to time, which normally they responded with a nod and a smile.

Yuzuki and Makoto met each other under the most unexpected circumstances, when Yuzuki accidentally dropped her purse when she was shopping around Shibuya, and Makoto, who was around the vicinity, was able to return it to her. After realizing that he is studying in the same high school as herself, both Makoto and Yuzuki eventually become friends as they mingled with each other in school. She also realized that Makoto can be quite the nuisance, thanks to his propensity for flirting with girls and being quite flowery with his words. As expected, Yuzuki was not spared from his antics, though she occasionally responded his flirting attitudes with her usual criticizing comments. She even considered to dress as a male, but that never happened.

Despite his antics, Yuzuki decided to stay around with him, thanks to his reliable personality and helpful attitude. Caught in an awkward situation? Just find Makoto. Although he may complain and whine about it, but he would not reject a girl's plea for help, would he?

As such, she's not with the best relationship with her brother, though they get along pretty well and have always attended the same school, minus periods of a year where they usually were at different types of schools such as Kyra in middle school and Takeji in high school. All in all, she's had a fairly normal life, without any unusual happenings and such.

A silent person, Nobody really knows much about Takeji. He is known to be rather leaning on the intellectual side, and he has sort of an athletic kind of reputation as well due to participation in a few sports throughout his life. His personality's as dark as his hair, Takeji actually one of those people who believe everything's just there to torture them and so he's to the point he doesn't really care. He's known to be at least bright and friendly toward his sister Kyra, though otherwise he's a total mystery.




Backstory

Born and raised near Shibuya, Takeji's rarely set foot outside Tokyo. Takeji's mother always owned an inn, so he rarely spent much time with her. His father, however, he spent lots of time with. Takeji's father often times took him to work with him, his father a detective working for the police. As such Takeji grew up seeing blood and a few dead bodies, although they never really bothered him in the least. He'd basically been raised to become a detective, albeit he didn't actually care to become one or even try to do so. Regarding Takeji's sister Kyra though, he's spent a little time with her. More time than with his mother, though a lot less than he spent with his father. The two get along well enough though, Takeji having a bit of a soft spot inside for his sister. They've always gone to school together in the mornings, so they're used to being together.

  No, she doesn't have some tragic backstory that had to do with her family. Honoka grew up in a small apartment with her loving mother and father right in the center of Tokyo. She was a happy baby, filled with people doting on her. When she was about 4 her parents were walking through a music department in the mall. It was there that Honoka ran off. Her parents looked for almost a hour trying to find her. When they finally did find her she was sitting on the ground, a store employee teaching her the fingers on the violin, and her playing each note perfectly. Her parents knew right then that there child had a gift. An amazing talent. They placed her in a music academy.
  
  
  However, due to her talents, many people were jealous of Honoka and were mean and harsh towards her. Rude and threatening notes filled her cubby and lunches were spent alone under a cherry blossom tree. Just at the young age of 10 she decided to end it all. Standing on the balcony of their apartment ready to jump as the wind blew through her hair with Mozart playing in the background. However, her father came home early that day, catching her arm at the last second. She then spent a week in the hospital, getting mental treatment. But when she came back to school the threats and such were worse than before. Twice more she tried ending her life.
  
  
  Honoka is an amazing violinist and was accepted into Toho high school of music. However she declined as most of her other classmates were going to attend. Instead she decided to start over and join the local high school. There she felt as though no one would hate her. However, she was still lonely. Kazuto is more of a follower than a leader, he doesn't do much himself, he goes with the one with the one who seems to know the best to him. He doesn't think he could do much to help anyways, despite he does exceptionally well in classes and athletics. If anyone does give him praise he would probably say it was simply luck or lucky. (-cough cough- 20 points for anyone getting that reference) He is definitely the kind of person who would never take a complement or a gift without returning the favor or rejecting it completely.

He usually seems optimistic, due to his assumptions as to how the next day is going to be like, such as it on a small note, sunny. He tries to ignore the facts most of the time, he may be smart, it doesn't mean that he wants to be have that. There is such a thing of knowing too much for someone's own good, such as figuring that someone if going to fail. However, it is obvious that almost nobody wants to think that, some people want to think that they are going to have a 'happy' ending and Kazuto is one of those people, although as everyone he knows that those endings never actually happen. Mainly due the two sides he has, his realistic and optimistic sides, although he does want to be more optimistic, so he keeps the realistic outcome to himself.

Backstory:

He grew up around fairy tales when he was living when his family, even after most people who had stopped reading them, he started to continue to read those fairy tales and some new ones that some people may had not remembered or they were rather foreign. He loved the endings that the people ended up having. However, school always proved that wrong not everything was perfect like the stories, people fail at things, get held back, get sent to detention for almost nothing. He knew all of these were things to be expected, so he started to have his more realistic point of view in his mind. He had the optimistic side show the most in his school life, as said before, and continues to let the optimistic side be the one that is spoken aloud.

Backstory: Always being a peppy, fun loving kinda gal, Diana loved to play around with the boys. She liked being one of the boys. Beating them at basketball and soccer, she always had to win, and if she didn't, she would go until she did. The thing is, she always felt self conscious about everything. Through her facade of happiness and peppiness, she would always question why she didn't like all that girly stuff besides skirts and dresses, because that stuff was the bomb!   Bubbly, excitable, and full of energy, Yua is known by many as a social butterfly. Her personable nature makes it very easy for her to converse with just about anyone, and it is very unlikely you'll ever see her by herself. Those who she considers her friends find themselves in good hands as she'll treat them like family and console them when things get tough. Need someone to talk to? Never fear! Yua will be right by your side until the end, making every attempt to put a smile on your face. With friends, she'll often tease and joke constantly, and can even be quite the dirty talker when the time calls for it. Heck, her foul mouth can even embarrass the most perverse of guys when she really lets loose. This along with her mastery of sass and other things lead many to refer to her as a bit of a tomboy.
  
  She's also quite the curious critter, with experimentation and adventure expected when hanging around Yua. If there's something she doesn't know or hasn't tried before, you can sure as hell expect that to change at some point in the future. Despite this, she'll very rarely break the law in order to satiate her own curiosity. Not because it's the wrong thing to do, mind you, but because the consequences of getting caught weigh too much on her mind. Of course, she doesn't mind when others are rule breakers and won't discourage their actions either, it's just that she'd prefer not to get caught herself. Instead, she focuses on maintaining a good public image, keeping her grades high and joining multiple sports at the same time.
  
  However, Yua does have a small rebellious side that she isn't afraid to show. She has no problems talking back to teachers or others that may frustrate her, and won't refrain from cussing and swearing when the moment escalates. It's moments when her emotions get the better of her is when others should be scared, as there is no longer a filter stopping her from acting. When angry she can be downright vicious and malevolent, acting out either violently or with words made to pierce deep. Likewise, Yua is definitely one to hold grudges and won't forget or forgive easily without enacting some sort of vengeance upon the perpetrator. Strangely enough though, when she feels she has gotten the last laugh, Yua will quickly forget about her anger and instead act like nothing ever occurred. It may be because she feels that there's no use staying angry anymore, but the more likely answer is that she's rubbing her 'victory' in the face of her victim.
  
  With everything said, Yua has a problem with being TOO dependent on other peoples company. Without others she feels vulnerable and finds it difficult to make her own decisions. Because of this, she'll often rely on others to reaffirm her choices or to do it for her instead. She is a follower through and through, and as such peer pressure is a tool that can convince her to go against what she usually believes just to appease the people she calls friends. There are times, of course, when this leads to nothing but harmless fun and for Yua to step out of her comfort zone a bit. However, in the wrong crowd this can lead to Yua getting into more trouble than she can handle.
  
  Backstory:
  
  Yua was born into a rather normal family with extraordinarily high expectations. You see, nobody in her family had ever really amounted to anything spectacular and had always just been painfully average at everything. In other words, their aptitude only got them far enough to get by, but just barely so. Her brother four years older than her was no exception, with his grades being rather poor. Despite their rather low level of income, her parents had decided already that they had wanted two children, though they didn't expect much from their new daughter. However, When Yua started earning straight A's and outshining her peers, new hope was brought upon them. Every bit of attention they had was now on the girl, of course leading to her brother being pushed to the side and ignored.
  
  This lead to Yua being coddled and babied for most of her school life. Her parents wanted nothing but the best for their child and made it their mission to lend a helping hand whenever possible while being extremely strict. Whether it was dealing with issues that plagued her mind or simply choosing a school club to join they'd be there to send her down the path they decided was best. For the most, part everything worked out. Yua had plenty of friends and was adored by teachers for her dedication and success, but the girl still felt that she was missing something, though what that something was she could never quite figure out.
  
  One day when she was 13 and was out shopping with her brother, Yua noticed a wallet fall out of a mans pocket, and upon further inspection saw that it was loaded with money that she felt her family sorely needed. Her parents had always looked out for her and cared for her, so in her mind she thought that taking the wallet would be returning the kindness they'd bestowed upon her. After hesitating for what felt like minutes, walking around the store unable to make the decision on her own, Yua eventually pocketed the wallet and returned home with her sibling.
  
  However, things didn't exactly turn out the way she expected them to. That day while she pondered what to do with her new found earnings, police arrived at the family's home with the wallets owner in tow. Panicking, she tossed the wallet onto her dresser and quickly made her way downstairs to see what the commotion was, followed shortly by her brother. Apparently someone had noticed Yua pick up the wallet, and due to their frequent visits the owner was able to identify her and gave authorities the necessary information. Before she could fess up to the crime she committed, her brother produced the stolen goods in question and handed it back to its original owner, claiming that he told his sister to give it to him while they were in the store so he could return it and instead kept it.
  
  That night the house was full of screaming and yelling, all of it being directed to her brother. Obviously she wanted to speak up and tell the truth, but the more she listened the more fear she felt about what her parents would say to her, and instead just kept quiet. When her parents had finally relented and went to sleep, Yua went into her brothers room and asked why he'd taken the fall for her. His response was simple; he was already considered a failure by their parents, and he didn't want one stupid mistake to ruin things for her as well.
  
  With that event in the past, things went on relatively normal. Her parents continued to shower her with attention while her brother was ignored up until his eventual departure. Yua moved on and continued to succeed, though she began to resent the amount of control her parents had on her life. She wanted them to let her do as she wanted, but in the end, what would she do then? She'd lived her whole life under their protective wing, so what would happen if she left that?

  Ren'ai is, how to put this delicately, a ladies man. He spent most of his time chasing women, getting all flirty and friendly. These, however, create quite a mess. Well, sometimes he get flirty with women which already have a boyfriend. The other times he also hit on young housewives, and... Let's just stop it here, shall we.
  
  
  The other times, he usually hang out at his uncle's bar. A karate practitioner, he sometimes act as the bar's bouncer while, again, flirting around. In his everyday routine, Ren'ai can be considered as a cool and calm guy, the type of a popular guy at school. But when he see or feel something that he despise, his demeanor changed. As if he's possessed by something else entirely.
  
  
  Backstory:
  
  
  Ren'ai Saburota. Once a child prodigy in elementary and junior high. This a-little-too-arrogant brat was just living a happy life, when suddenly his parents divorced. This occured when he was around three years old, too young to remember and understand the basic concept of 'divorce'. He live with his mother, oblivious to the fact that his parents already divorced. His mother, everytime he asked about his father, always give some random rambling and drop the issue. Realize that her son need a father figure to grow up, she left him at the care of his uncle, who was tending a small liquor store at that time.
  
  
  Since then until he graduated from junior high school, he lived with his uncle. Ren'ai gained a reputation as a ladies man since junior high school, the trait he picked up from his uncle. This led him into a lot of trouble, from being hated by other guy, slapped by annoyed girl, till being chased by senior high school student, whose girl he seduced. His uncle then decided to enroll him an a karate dojo in the neighborhood, to keep him from trouble that he cause. It worked, for the first two or three months, but after that, he's back to his old self. After he graduated from junior high school, his uncle made quite a fortune and then opened a bar in Ginza-cho.
  
  
  His uncle, Takahashi Shikijou, told Ren'ai contact his mother, to inform this information. He found out that his mother already moved and told that she moved to Beppu, on ?ita Prefecture. But after months of searching and with no results, he gave up and Ren'ai changed his family name to Shikijou. There, he enrolled to the school there. Two years has passed since then and now, a senior student, a new chapter of his life has begun....
