However, during this his plane was hit by a piece of debris from the asteroid. His plane crashed and he was taken to hospital where they found an unusual amount of helium in his body. As luck would have it his next flight wasn't smooth either; due to engine troubles his plane went down again and he fell out. However, instead of falling to inghis death, he slowly floated to the ground. He has now moved to the city to use his powers for good. Element: Helium, He

Bio: Caroline lived a normal life, nobody hurt her or tried to kill her. She was a regular student who stared in athletics. She was a star track, gymnastic, archery and tai chi student. She loves to play sports and never backs down from a challenge. She was majoring as a engineer at a prestigious college. One day she was runnig on the track in the early morning when she was almost hit by a incoming piece of debris. She collided with the debris and was rushed to the student medical center. not seeing anything wrong with her they kept her under observations. That night every cell in her body began to turn into Carbon. Her hair turned silver gray as her boy burned with a searing pain. She screamed as her body shifted and morphed into the three main/stable solid forms of carbon. The doctors were perplexed as she continued to shift. It wasn't until 2 weeks later that she was able to control her new ability. She broke out of the hospital observation room, by tuning into graphite dust and floating throughout the air vents. Trying to pick up the pieces of her life she moved to the city to have a fresh new life. Dropping out of her junior year of college early she's started a new job as a barista at day and a bartender at night. (Yes, If it happens I will do a Au get out of my bar joke). Her goal, stay away from, crazy government types that want to hunt her down for experiments.

Bio: Prior to the acquisition of her control over fluorine, Cherianne led the common life of a high school senior. She was beginning to get lazy in her school work, as it was her final year and her grades slowly began to slip. When the asteroid was shot down, she was walking home with two of her good friends. Small pebble sized chunks of debris and dust rained from the sky. The bits of debris pelted her, her friends, and several nearby houses. The pieces of debris caused small wounds from head to toe on Cherianne, her friends, and bystanders. The wounds themselves were not fatal, but the small pieces of debris contained large amounts of fluorine that poisoned everyone who was injured. The effects were not immediate and nobody had to be rushed to the hospital after the event. After a few days, with the exception of Cherianne, everyone suffered a variety of symptoms such as thyroid disease, diabetes insipidus, scotoma, fatigue and dental fluorosis. Cherianne, at this point, had not realized that she had also been introduced to large amounts of fluorine and was unaware of her abilities. Slowly, her powers began to manifest. Small crystals slowly grew on the surface of her skin, and Cherianne was completely unaware until she turned off her bedroom light to go to sleep. her skin gave off a dim blue light. She frantically tried to scratch off the crystals, but accidentally punctured her skin, which released a small amount of fluoride that created a small flame with occasional bursts of energy. The fire burned the skin on her arm and cauterized the the hole shut. After several days and the realization of her abilities, she grew a new personality: one that desired power. Her desire grew solely because she knew she could easily attain it. Now she spends a large portion of her alone time planning. Cherianne does manage to act the same socially at school.

Abilities: Cherianne is able to produce holes in her skin that release gaseous fluorine that violently reacts with most elements. Cherianne is not immune to violent reactions if she comes in contact with them. Cherianne can also produce fluorite crystals on her skin that can produce blue fluorescent light after light or sun exposure.


Personality: +Intelligent, Deceptive, Charismatic, Observant. -Violent, Cold, Tyrannical, Treacherous.


Side: Bad.


Other Info: The fluorite crystals produce on her skin do not serve as an effective armor, as fluorite can be easily chipped, cleaved, or broken. After the fluorine leaves her body, the effectiveness of her control over it is inversely proportional to the distance traveled and proportional to the amount present. Despite being able to control fluorine, she cannot control the fluorine in other peoples' bodies due to her range and accuracy limitations. A wide variety of compounds produce with fluorine are highly toxic. Despite her highly aggressive behavior, she accepts the nickname "Cheri" and allows everyone to use it freely. Most of her injuries from the rain of debris hit her legs and never healed completely. She often has pain or fatigue in her legs.

Personality: Amane is best described as maniacal, short-tempered, flamboyant, destructive, and cruel. She is a psychopath with no regard for human life or remorse for the atrocities she commits, and revels in the suffering of others. She cracks dark jokes, breaks out into hysterical laughter upon causing mayhem, and all that matters to her is achieving her goal of immortality. She sees those who oppose her as mere pests in the way of her withstanding goal, and swats them away without killing them, preferring to enslave them to "feed her".


Abilities: Amane is able to increase and decrease the density of nitrogen, slowing bullets to below the speed of sound, which she counters with her secondary ability, using Nitrogen as a medium and amplifier by for her sonic attacks, which is her primary weapon. She disintegrates the bullets by using the soundwaves to break up their molecular structure, which takes a lot of power to do, and as a result, causing death to people without ear protection and body armour.


Biography: Amane once was a normal girl, until the age of 13, when she was involved in a horrific car accident. The daughter of a cyberneticist, she was taken into his laboratory, in an attempt to save her. He was developing an android called AP-3 that was capable of assimilating music, and editing it to make it better. As a last ditch attempt to save Amane as her organs began to fail, he fused the android and her together, the electronic circuitry keeping her brain alive, acting as a nervous system. Her body began to adapt to it's new mechanical components, the little girl known as Amane Izayoi and the robot known as AP-3 fusing into one being. Unfortunately, the robot was a prototype, it's AI incomplete, it fusing with Amane's mind, bringing everything in her mind to light, including her repressed sadism generated from years of abuse at the hands of her mother, who wanted the perfect daughter. Her biological components now simply relied on music, 30,000 songs a day for sustenance by converting it to energy for cell replication as her mind began to alter her own DNA, something taught to it by the AI of AP-3, which could edit it's own programming. She began to develop her own music, and her sadistic side realized it could be used as a weapon, augmenting her voice box and lungs with technology to be able to produce a volume of sound sufficient enough to hurt people. After finding out she only has 3 years to live before all the music on her hard drive in the middle of her chest is used up, effectively starving her. She enslaved her Father to make more songs to upload to her Hard Drive. She made and forces everyone she has enslaved to wear headphones that directly connect to their brains, so she knows what they are thinking, punishing them with unbearably loud noises if they think of escape. She has a slave group making music all the time, but they cannot make the songs fast enough to feed her. Since then, she has kidnapped people and forced them to make music, in an attempt to keep her alive.

Bio: Amneee-no. Alex lived for the most part, normally. He was a bit of a geek, but still kind of popular. Then, the fragment hit. Alex was impaled by a shard of arsenic. But, instead of dying, Alex healed, but his body was altered. Now, his chest was covered in that weird shiny stuff. Alex was taken to see a doctor, but even with gloves, when the doctor touched the scar, he died almost instantaneously. Alex's parents, who were highly religious prayed to expel the "metal demon" from him. Within days his entire body was metal. Alex was kicked out of his parents home, they even tried to have him arrested. Alex, luckily ran away before the police arrived. Since then, he's been on the run, dodging police, and thinking about giving up.

Bio:

Nathan was an average guy before the catastrophe struck. He had decent grades, a few close friends, an no real reason to complain in life. He was walking home from school when the asteroid struck, not struck by debris, but caught up in the actual explosion itself. Knocked unconscious immediately, he awoke to find his body burned beyond recognition, red smoke seemingly pouring from the lacerations and open wounds. He pulled himself from the debris to find that he was alone around the direct fallout of the asteroid. Shocked he was not dead, his first thought was of home, and quickly absconded there. By the time he had arrived home, his wounds had somehow healed themselves his burns were gone. The red smoke, however, still poured from him. He stumbled through the door to find his worried parents, who promptly choked and died, their skin burnt off from the acidic gas pouring from his body.

His hometown was gone, and Nathan alone. He set off as an outcast, and an orphan, learning how to control his curse.

Nathan possesses the ability to release high concentrations of Bromine through his entire body, or channel it through certain parts. The Bromine does what Bromine does. As it is highly acidic, it can burn through metal and human skin, although the effect is slightly weakened as the Bromine released by Nathan is in a gas form, not it's natural liquid form. This can be used in many ways, such as to bond metals or.... um.... something.... melting.... related...

Bio: Strafe was never a nice person. He was what you would call a delinquent. Strafe was always getting into some kind of trouble. It want that he was a bad kid he just got bored of every day life. Strafe dropped out of school because it wasn't a challenge for him. He decided he wanted more in life then just constant boredom.


The Day the meteor was shot out of the sky Strafe was running from the police after he had just robbed a gas station. As he was running a small shard of the space rock struck him in the leg. The transition was slow but after a month or two his powers where fully developed. His first act as a super powered being was to rob a bank. Let's just say he now has a lot of spending money.

Aira is rich. Very, very rich. So wealthy, and yet she is not happy with her life. Her parents are never in home, traveling all around the world to work. Her big brother rarely comes home, he is married and as the heir of the Miller Group he have to work as hard as his parents. As the second child, and a female, no one ever planned something for her. Owning everything and could easily obtain whatever she wanted, Aira is really bored with her life. One day, she's decided to go to a vacation on her family's private island all by her self. Aira was sitting in the beach when something, a small basketball sized debris, falls from the sky to somewhere not far from her. Curious, she approached the debris and touched it.


When her power started to appear, she felt sick and dizzy at first but she shrugged it as nothing.


She stumbled and accidentally dropped a glass, cutting her own feet. She cursed and looked at how the bloods dripped out of her wound into the expensive carpet, and that's when she realized how the bloods stopped dripping. The bloods that should've been absorbed into the carpet elevates into the air and... stays there.


Excited with her new ability, Aira decided to learn until she mastered it.


She learned how to properly control it, to shape it, to solidify it, and the well aware with the fact that it is very dangerous if she use too much of her power.


It doesn't take long for the government to find her, as one of the debris landed in their private island. They learned about Aira's ability, and the fact that there could be more out there. Aira, being told that there are more people like her out there, volunteered to help out. She used her family's money to help the government funding the EABSR, in exchange for being allowed to work in the field as one.


Aira finally have a good reason to stay alive: Fighting.
