Pasting from somewhere else changes default font color

So, when you copy and paste something... say, a character sheet... from another source such as google docs, the default font sets to black regardless of the theme you are using. If you are in Night Lyfe, this is a problem because black text is hard to near impossible to read within this theme. You can highlight it and change the color to white, but then people in the normal theme would be unable to read it because the only color that auto changes with theme is the default color... and the default color auto-sets to black when you are pasting from another word source. 


Also, if you copy and paste a bulleted list, the bullet points stay black and there doesn't seem to be any way to change their color.

Oh, thank you for catching this. I'll add it to our list of known bugs. We knew font color was messing up but this explains it much better.


I'd suggest trying the Remove All Formatting button; hopefully that will change the default color back to what it should be.

But I'm copying from a google doc in order to obtain formatting. It's the only way I know how to get some slightly different fonts and it's also the only way I know how to return an old post back to a state where all the font is the same size. There are some old posts that are now different sizes all over the place as far as text size goes. I'm trying to fix them, but then I run into the color problem.

Just a note/update on this... I have been able to get it to work fine when I copy over normal text. So far the problem seems to be limited to bulleted lists copied over from another source.

When copying from ANYWHERE into a forum box for posting always right click and either "Paste as Plain Text" or "Paste and Match Style" depending on your browser. 


As far as I know, this isn't limited to new RpN at all, as I had this issue with both Firefox and Chrome on the old site as well.

I don't want to lose all the formatting, though. If there are bullet points, I want them to stay there and by pasting as plain text, I lose them. The problem is that there is no way to paste it and then change it to the "Night Lyfe" default color after pasting. The option to change it to the default color goes away. 


On the old site, there was no way to retain formatting such as bullet points when pasting content.
