a little about me:
→ i'm female, 19 years old and a college student! my classes are online for the rest of the semester which means i have more free time, however this summer i will have a full-time job, so just a heads-up for the long term!
→ that being said, i can't guarantee any rate of replies other than "i reply when i can" (and frankly when i feel like it) but if something pops up that prevents me from responding for over a week i will certainly let you know ahead of time.
→ as for post length.. honestly i write however much i feel like! a paragraph at the minimum, then however much i feel like at the maximum. if you have some sort of length requirement, i'm happy to accommodate!
→ for our main pair, at the moment i prefer fxf, however i'm down to have any kind of pairings on the side!
→ on that note, i do not do top/bottom, dom/sub, or any sort of dynamic like that. honestly don't even bring it up, it's a total turn off.
what i'm lookin' for:
→ someone who's 18+ and good with darker themes (violence, drugs, death, mental illness, etc.), though it doesn't mean our story has to include those things!!
→ excitement, inspiration and ideas! it's just so much more enjoyable when we can openly express these things to one another!!
→ on top of that, i love ooc chatting! ideally i like to be able to call my rp partners my friends as well!
→ honesty and communication! just be real with me, i value that a lot in a partner. and i will show you the same respect!
→ man, please don't ghost. if you've lost interest, you're low on muse, or you're just flat out busy (bro i totally get this), please tell me and i will do the same! legit it's just for my peace of mind so i know when to move on from an RP (and also it's the courteous thing to do!)
1. no, i'm not gonna eat you! or... i'll try not to.
themes: modern fantasy, werewolves, forbidden romance, violence, death, angst
in this world, humans and werewolves have always coexisted but only recently have werewolves developed to the point of becoming "domestic" enough to join human society. because this is a fairly recent development, there is still rampant racism, segregation and discrimination against werewolves due to their predatory nature and instincts. this all becomes amplified when recent killings are shown on the news of cannibalistic werewolves going rabid and killing and eating humans.
muse a is a werewolf, but she hardly lets it show. she's introspective and kind-natured, not quite feeling like she fits in with either humans or werewolves. she hates her heritage, hates her predatory instincts, hates every connotation that's associated with her in society, and hates that she has a thing for humans, since she could never ever be with one.
muse b is a human, but she tries hard to compensate for it. she's dignified and talented, charming and well-liked, yet holds a deeply rooted prejudice against werewolves (for whatever reason) and feels the need to mask her attraction to them (yeah she got a thing for werewolves) by advocating for various social justice issues against allowing werewolves in society.
muse c is the human that muse a attacks on a full moon night, when muse a loses control. she comes close to killing muse c, but regains her senses and lets her go. muse c is shaken, but having the intentions of becoming a doctor for werewolves, she still wants to befriend muse a, to try and "tame" her and save her from her predatory nature.
because of this, muse a can't get muse c off her mind, becoming infatuated, and determined to redeem herself and make things right with her, and most of all, to defy societal standards that a werewolf and a human can't be together. unbeknownst to muse a though, muse b had witnessed the entire incident, and is determined to bring that predator out of muse a once more to get her convicted.
this rp can either be muse a/muse c or muse a/muse b for more angst! whoever plays muse c however must also play muse b. i have no preference for any role!
also this can be any kind of setting. school, work, etc. though if it is a school setting, boarding school/college is preferred, and characters still must be 18+.
2. isn't this kind of out of your element, princess?
themes: scifi, western, bounty hunters, hardworking commoner x rich prodigy, comedy, action.
space cowgirls, ayyy. inspired by this:
muse a has had a troubled life, but she's dug herself out of the dirt, making a comfortable life for herself by working as a bounty hunter, pursuing criminals all around the galaxy and turning them in.
muse b has had a pampered life, being raised as the heiress to the throne of a rich, highly advanced planet. one day however, she runs away from home, stealing a ship and escaping to muse a's home planet. sick of her easy life, she seeks thrills and adventures, taking up a bounty mission for muse a's head.
when the two meet, muse b's plan backfires and she ends up at the mercy of muse a. when muse a discovers that she is now being hunted down by an unknown organization, she begrudgingly allows muse b to tag along to find the source of her bounty.
i don't mind either role!
3. i'll track down the words, if you dig up the dead.
themes: modern, sorta unrequited love kinda, drama, angst, coming-of-age, perfectionist x lazy sack
inspired by Dig Up The Dead by Mansions.
"my eyelids falling down, all my dreams in black and white.
i see so clearly now i won't ever get it right.
but i don't wanna be free, i don't wanna be me.
i don't wanna be free."
i actually have two ideas for this kind of idea (perfectionist x lazy sack): this first one is more lighthearted than the second.
muse a is a stereotypical deadbeat, but fresh out of the closet, and desperate to mess around. by word of mouth, she's told that the owner's daughter of the restaurant she works at is openly gay, and likes to study at a table by herself on some nights. so, muse a shoots her shot, and is shot down... horribly. but she's persistent. and muse b, having just recently been cheated on, is honestly looking for a rebound.
muse a and muse b were best friends in high school, then, in their senior year, became something more. not only were they involved with each other, but they were involved in drugs. when muse b's parents found out, they kicked her out, forcing her to move across the country to live with her aunt so that she could afford college. muse a never hears from muse b again.
it's been 3 years, and muse a moves across the country in an attempt to find herself, and also run from her past life as a drug dealer, wanting to start fresh. start a good life. when she clocks into her new job however, she finds that muse b is the one training her. and muse b has the audacity to pretend like she didn't know her.
muse b honestly wants nothing to do with her old life, or with muse a, who she believes dragged her down and made her a worse person. muse a is desperate to show muse b that she's changed, desperate to make things right.
i don't mind either role for both ideas!
4. so whatcha doin?
themes: modern, unrequited love, angst, cheating, drama, anything else we wanna add pretty much
inspired by Gossamer by Fashion Jackson.
"well if you insist, i-
i think you're cool and all, but i have a boyfriend.
but that doesn't mean we can't be best friends.
we can still sleep together on the weekends."
ah. the classic tale of the straight girl love story.
muse a is forced into a situation where she has to spend most of the day with muse b (i.e. training at work, college, high school project (they'd have to be seniors though), camp counselors assigned to the same group, volunteering, etc.) and the two appear to have little interest in each other, until they start talking and discover that at their core, they're actually very similar people. and after just one day, muse a, a closeted goon, is head over heels. the only problem: muse b has a boyfriend, yet seems to be happy stringing muse a along as well.
the setting for this one is super flexible, i just want to play around with the straight girl x closeted girl trope. i'm aware that not everyone likes to incorporate cheating but it is angsty fiction, and it's based on the song. i don't mind either role!
5.i guess i couldn't help trying to be your best American girltaken yoooo
themes: modern fantasy, vampires, forbidden(ish) love, comedy, drama, angst.
inspired by Your Best American Girl by Mitski.
"you're the sun, you've never seen the night
but you hear its song from the morning birds.
well I'm not the moon, i'm not even a star
but awake at night i'll be singing to the birds."
muse a has had a massive, albeit shallow crush on muse b, for the past couple months now. a total puppy love infatuation sort of deal. only thing is: muse b is a vampire, and no one knows, until one day, she can't suppress a transformation and attacks muse a, taking her blood. muse a is freaked out (but also maybe thinks this is kinda hot in a really twisted way) and now has a donor pact with muse b to keep her sated as her vampiric urges become harder and harder to control. now, the two of them are stuck trying to figure out what exactly is causing muse b to go feral.
i don't mind either role.
