• Note: This is an old thread, but I'm rebooting it because I just came out of a hiatus, and I'm too lazy to write all-new code.
  
  Hi! My name is Sierra, although feel free to refer to me by my username because I know people forget sometimes. I'm a freshman in college (university for my non-American friends), and as a result, my availability varies depending on the workload for my classes. Just for an idea of when I'm generally available, I live on the East Coast of the United States, so I'm in the Eastern Standard Time timezone.
  
  One thing I find important to mention before we go any further is that chatting in OOC is very important to me. If you don't really care why, you don't have to read the next paragraph. Just know that I prefer to maintain contact with my partners.
  
  I don't really like being strangers with my RolePlay partners. Preferably, I would like to befriend them! I've noticed that people are more likely to explain things to friends or close acquaintences, such as if they're not going to be able to reply for an extended period of time or just want to stop the RolePlay entirely. On the flip side, I've noticed that if I don't build a connection with my partners, they're more likely to not tell me such things and just ghost me instead. Also, I find OOC very useful for planning out RolePlays. I like to do so both before and during a RolePlay because if partners don't tell each other about their ideas, then sometimes their thoughts clash and cause a huge mess, making them highly likely to just drop the RolePlay. I'd like to avoid that if possible!

  When it comes to RolePlays, I have a few preferences just like everyone else. I prefer playing male and non-binary characters. Not to say I can't play as a female, it's just my preference. I am okay with trying to play a female character if you really want, though. Pairing-wise, I can do M/F or M/M, and any combination with a NB character. NB/M, NB/F, or NB/NB.
  
  I prefer Fantasy RolePlays over realistic ones. It's just the adventure, you know? Not to say I don't like romance. A little bit of love thrown in can make everything more interesting. However, I do prefer romance as an optional sub-plot rather than something we know for sure is going to happen from the get-go. After all, what if our characters end up not having romantic chemistry? It would suck to have to force them together, in my opinion.
  
  I write in either 2nd or 3rd person, depending on the style of RolePlay. If we are doing a RolePlay in which I write in the former, you can write in either 1st or 3rd person; I have no preference. Otherwise, please write in 3rd.
  
  When it comes to replies, I follow rules of quality over quantity. If you can only write two sentences, but they're the best damn two sentences I've ever seen, then I'm fine. As long as you give good description and make sure your replies make sense grammatically, however much you can do is fine. I do, of course, understand things like typos or English not being your first language. I'm not an asshole. Myself, I tend to write a few paragraphs for replies. The longest reply I ever wrote was 52 lines long, taking up about 7 paragraphs, I believe? But that is an outlier, so expect an average of three.

  1. Hostage situation with sci-fi technology
  2. Two spaceship pilots who are conscripted to fight for opposing sides in an interstellar war.
  3. When a high-class thief travels to a human colony on an Earth-like planet in search of adventure, he finds himself with a price on his head.
  4. Scientists gather the DNA of several historical figures and use it to create clones. The clones are taught to act like the originals and used as museum exhibits. At night, when the museum is closed, the clones begin plotting their escape.
  5. Space pirates.
  6. Illegal space ship racing (similar to illegal car racing here on Earth)

  The first four plots do not belong to me, so I don't take credit for them! I haven't been in the Sci-fi game long enough to create my own things.
  
  Also, these were all plots created with the genres Sci-fi and Crime in mind, so if you have any non-crime related plotlines, I'd love to hear them!

  Let's be pirates!

  
  Piracy is very common in the world at the moment. Many a child dreams of becoming one, but their dreams are quelled by their over-bearing parents. However, one band of teens/young adults won't listen to what their parents or any other adult figure tell them to and decide to make their own pirate crew.
  
  This could either be a 1 on 1 with a lot of characters played by the both of us or a group RolePlay. I'm more comfortable with 1 on 1s, however, hence why I'm posting here!
  
  
  Summoners

  
  In the land of Parasya, there are, on the occasion, people born with the ability to summon creatures from the Realm. These summons come in three classes: Humanoid, Animal, and Plant. There are combinations, such as my character Arlex who is a wolf humanoid, however. Because summoners are rare and very different from you average Joe, they are shunned and even sometimes killed by the 'normies' as the Summoners refer to them. This is the story of some of those summoners and their summons.
  
  
  Animals turned Human

  
  Science. Science is weird. In a small town in a place, some scientists were doing a test on a machine they had just created. This machine shifted animals into humanoid bodies, able to speak and do practically everything a normal human can do. They only performed two tests, and it was supposed to be a closed experiment. However, some of the radiation from the machine leaked out. This radiation caused all animals in the general area to turn into humans with the occasional animalistic piece still with them(ex: cats still have their ears and tails). These animals are not just cats and dogs, but birds, fish, and even insects.
  
  
  The Dreamscape

  
  Are dreams real? Is it possible to feel pain, emotions, to see things we've never seen, to taste things we've never tasted, in dreams? If we die in our dreams, will we die in reality? What would happen if you fell asleep, and were forever stuck in Dreamland? This is the story of such happenings. The people who have this happen to them are called Dreamwalkers. They experience dreams like they are real life, and often have a hard time discerning them from reality. But will it drive them mad?
  
  
  Extraterrestrial RolePlay

  
  Demons are trying to take over the earth. That's not rocket science, it's been happening since the beginning of time. It's the job of the angels to make sure that their ambitions are never realized. A little under 100 years ago, demonic activity reached a new high, and the angels thought that they might have succeeded in their goals. That's why they created the Earth Defense Corps -- or EDC for short.

  The angels learned from their experiences that even though they were angels, the extraterrestrial servants of God, they couldn't defeat the demons by themselves. They needed the help of the beings that they thought they were protecting. Humans. Surprisingly, humans are very exceptional when it comes to fighting demons, a fact that the angels hadn't realized until they came up to help during those dark times.
  
  Now, when an angel is finally prepared to fight the forces of darkness, they must first find a human partner. Some might think that the ideal partner for an angel is someone who's perfect, or as close to perfect as a person can get. They would think incorrectly. That is how they originally picked their partners, but then they realized that there are so many humans that are suffering, wishing that they could just have a second chance at life.
  
  So, the angels decided that if they made those suffering people their partners, and those people helped them until the end of their days, all of their sins would be forgiven, no matter what they had done. They would get a free ticket to heaven.

  (This is basically your angels, demons, and fallen angels RP (also with humans of course).
  
  
  The Overworld (*New Setting)

  
  A floating kingdom inhabited by Angels and Demons. These beings, unlike what is told in the mythology that made them known, are mortal beings who are born and can die. The kingdom is split into two different sections: one for the Angels and one for the Demons. If the Angels commit a sin, they fall and are exiled from the kingdom, as they will eventually become a Demon. The Demons cannot become an Angel. The whole kingdom undertakes a black-and-white, monochrome color scheme. Angels typically wear and have things of white and lighter shades of gray, while Demons wear black and darker gray.
  
  
  Elysara (Closed)

  
  

  • Larid: Kingdom of the Humans and Elementals

  • Shalia: The Underwater Kingdom

    At one point in time, there were five land kingdoms. The kingdom of the Humans and the kingdom of the Elementals were constantly at war. The two kingdoms hated each other and were tearing each other apart.
    
    To avoid this, about a decade ago, the king of the humans married the princess of elementals, making her his queen and uniting their kingdoms to form the Larid Kingdom. Humans and elementals have been integrated together in many workplaces, although a majority of the elemental jobs have to do with more dangerous lines of work due to their magical abilities.
    
  • 
    Igrarin is located on the Eastern continent of Elysara. It is populated by five distinct races of elves: Snow elves, Drow elves, High elves, Wood elves, and Fire elves. Each race of elves has an elder that represents them in the ruling council, which is made up of three females and two males. The kingdom is split roughly in half into two geographical regions: rocky, mountainous areas to the north and more lush, forested areas to the south.
    
    Underneath all of this are both natural and unnatural caves and caverns (the unnatural stem mostly from dwarven mines). These caverns are populated mostly by the drow elves, as their nocturnal habits make these places more suitable.
    
    The mountains above, which are high enough to accumulate snow year round, are the home of the Snow elves, and the forests home to the Wood-elves and most High elves.
    
    There is also a small kingdom territory in the forest that belongs to a majority of the planet's fae folk (although all races are known to wander, and they are not excluded from this fact).
    
    Fire elves are known to be vagabonds, and they will often travel all over the kingdom, save for the icy peaks of the mountains. Some make their homes on the coast, however, where temperatures can at times be scorching enough for their tastes.

    Aepeniel is home to many winged creatures, save for most fae and a few other exceptions such as some dragons (they don't like to be confined to one space, you see). The main race is the Birdfolk, and they come in all shapes and sizes. From small bluebird people to the vulturekin, every clan is distinct. The kingdom is spread all across Elysara in the form of floating islands whose size range from only large enough to host a tree, to large enough to cater to an entire city plus some countryside surrounding it.

    A hidden city for pixies, faeries, and other small folk. It's located deep within the rainforest spanning the southeastern side of the continent. The magic shield around the city, which is powered by the life force of the king and queen themselves, hides both the village and its surrounding valley from prying eyes. Although this village is located within the main kingdom, the secretiveness of the fae causes them to have a need for their own monarchy. The king and queen are more of a figurehead, however, as the kingdom is led by a council of elders from each of the major races residing in the city. Few know of the existence of this city, but it is an existence that the leader(s) of the kingdom are unable to ignore, as the Fae Council often send messages to the capital asking to be an independent country.

    Also known as the City of Evil, Y'strava is a dark city located in the deep valleys of a mountain range close to the center of the country. It is populated by creatures such as thieving Spriggan faeries, goblins, and the most unstable of vampires. It is known to hold 'the worst of the worst,' and the crime rate there is so high that any attempts at a government have failed, resulting in total anarchy. The central government has tried many times to quell this danger, but somehow the city's inhabitants always get word of the incoming army and clear out the city before they can arrive.

    An oriental-style city on the western coast of the kingdom. There are many East Asian creatures residing there, such as Chinese dragons, animalistic demons such as Kitsunes/Gumihos, Nekos, etc., and Bulgasaris, among others of course. Thanks to its port, Manshir is one of the richest cities in the kingdom, and it has its place as the top port city in the kingdom due to its river access. As a result, many other creatures also reside here, though the majority are still part of some sort of East Asian mythology.
    
    
    
    
    

  
  This setting is similar to the one above but on a smaller scale. This RolePlay was supposed to take place in a Kingdom/Nation that was equal parts Fantasy and Sci-fi, with the capital city being a mixture of both. I was in charge of creating the Fantasy themed cities, and they were supposed to make the Sci-fi ones, but they mysteriously disappeared.
  
  Most of these settings obviously have a lot of room for discussion!

  Plots
  To go along with 'Let's be Pirates!'

  
  The RolePlay takes place in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. The location, and whether it shall be in a place on Earth or a land that we ourselves shall make up, will be something that we shall decide together at a later time. The basics of the storyline are that one character is a young, homeless man who has been taken up by a seemingly (or perhaps genuinely) generous captain whose name is known all over the land (if the player choose to be genuine, the character will probably be known as 'Generous Captain _' or something similar). As time passes, the new recruit proves to be a natural pirate (or perhaps not?), and a bond of some sort forms between them. The rest will just have to play itself out.
  
  This one is obviously M/M only, but the others are flexible!
  
  
  To go along with 'The Dreamscape'

  
  Muse A has been in Dreamworld for a long time. In fact, they've been asleep for a couple of months now. When their bodies are awake, their minds are still asleep, so what they see in their dream just shifts to match real-world things. Aka, they're delusional/sleepwalking. Muse B is new to being a Dreamer and happens upon Muse A whilst dreaming. Will Muse B be able to save Muse A, or will they be dragged into A's madness? (Inspired by my RolePlay with a Quotev user named Robin Raven Raphael)
  
  
  To go along with 'The Overworld' (*New Plot)

  
  Muse A, an angel, is suffering from depression that evolved from the grief of losing a close loved one. This grief has made them become a hermit of sorts, and they do almost nothing besides eating and sleeping. For an Angel, this is related to the sin Sloth. As a result, Muse A begins the falling process.
  
  Muse B is a human who wakes up in the Overworld with no memories or who they are and how they got there. Muse A finds them and takes them in, allowing B to live in a spare room. As they spend time together, Muse B slowly learns about what's happening to Muse A and tries to help them.
  
  Does Muse B succeed, or does Muse A end up falling and transitioning to a Demon of Sloth?
  
  CYOA/Quest PlotsApparently, RpN has a feature similar to what I refer to as CYOA RolePlays! So these will be plots for 1 on 1 'Quest' RolePlays.
  
  Plot 1: Fantasy Sim-Date (?)

  
  This storyline is more of a dating sim-esqe plot, with three totally different paths your character can take from the get-go (which in turn fork into more as you go down them). It takes place in a medieval, fantasy world, so there are many 'races' of creatures as well as several kinds of magics, so that's always fun to explore. This RolePlay does have an ending that ties directly to a romantic relationship: it's triggered by a true love's kiss. Cheesy, I know, but people seem to like it.
  

  Things to know:​

  ~At the beginning of the story, your character will wake up with no memories, so make sure not to mention anything that may have occurred before the events of the RolePlay.​

  ~The place is quite realistic and dangerous, which means one thing. Your character is totally able to die. Remember that when you do dumb things.​

  ~I like to illustrate the things in this plot with images from Minecraft that I've made, so let me know if that's alright!​

  ~The age range of the love interests goes from 19 to 32, so consider that when making your character​

  Plot 2: Sci-fi/Fantasy World Jumping

  
  This plot is more of a 'jump in and go' type of thing. You don't make a character sheet at the beginning; your character is created through the RolePlay. I don't want to spoil too much, but know that this is a type of world-jumping RolePlay, in which you'll go to many different worlds and meet a lot of different kinds of people.
  

  ~Like the other, it's a fantasy-type RolePlay, however it has a bit of sci-fi elements to it as well​

  ~Also like the other, your character doesn't have any memories, and you can also die in this​

  ~I am currently doing this plot with: 1 person​
  
  
  Plot 3: Prince Sim Date

  
  Your character has owned seven plushie dolls since they were a toddler, but they can never remember where they got them. One day, when they hit a certain age, the 'plushies' came to life as princes, dragging your character into their world and into adventures they didn't even think possible.
  

  ~This is a shitty description, I know, but it was inspired by a dream, and it's hard to describe the bullshit that went on.​

  ~As stated previously, there will be seven different princes for you to choose from.​

  ~This is more of an adventure based RolePlay (though romance will happen, eventually)​

  ~16, 18, and 21 are all common 'coming of age' ages, so you can choose one of those for your character or come up with your own (the princes' age range is from 17-27)​

  ~You have the option of just choosing one guy, or going for all of them at once. It's your decision, though there might be some people that won't want to get up with you if you choose someone besides them ;3​

  ~This will kind of be a Medieval/past type RolePlay (considering the fact that there are princes), and it will also have some fantasy elements to it (your character will be human, though, so don't try anything funny)​

  Don't be afraid to suggest something of your own! I like having a list of my own plots, but I also love hearing my partners' input! It's always more interesting to hear something from someone else, after all~
  Also, I have another RolePlay option I call 'RolePlays with Chance' which I can explain to you if you're interested! However, for that, I'd like to have a really flexible RolePlay partner. Because the RolePlay is based on chance, I have no idea what gender pairing we would be doing! That, plus a few other things, is why I need a partner who is flexible.

  So, the angels decided that if they made those suffering people their partners, and those people helped them until the end of their days, all of their sins would be forgiven, no matter what they had done. They would get a free ticket to heaven.

  The Overworld (*New Setting)

  
  A floating kingdom inhabited by Angels and Demons. These beings, unlike what is told in the mythology that made them known, are mortal beings who are born and can die. The kingdom is split into two different sections: one for the Angels and one for the Demons. If the Angels commit a sin, they fall and are exiled from the kingdom, as they will eventually become a Demon. The Demons cannot become an Angel. The whole kingdom undertakes a black-and-white, monochrome color scheme. Angels typically wear and have things of white and lighter shades of gray, while Demons wear black and darker gray.

    At one point in time, there were five land kingdoms. The kingdom of the Humans and the kingdom of the Elementals were constantly at war. The two kingdoms hated each other and were tearing each other apart.
    
    To avoid this, about a decade ago, the king of the humans married the princess of elementals, making her his queen and uniting their kingdoms to form the Larid Kingdom. Humans and elementals have been integrated together in many workplaces, although a majority of the elemental jobs have to do with more dangerous lines of work due to their magical abilities.

    Igrarin is located on the Eastern continent of Elysara. It is populated by five distinct races of elves: Snow elves, Drow elves, High elves, Wood elves, and Fire elves. Each race of elves has an elder that represents them in the ruling council, which is made up of three females and two males. The kingdom is split roughly in half into two geographical regions: rocky, mountainous areas to the north and more lush, forested areas to the south.
    
    Underneath all of this are both natural and unnatural caves and caverns (the unnatural stem mostly from dwarven mines). These caverns are populated mostly by the drow elves, as their nocturnal habits make these places more suitable.
    
    The mountains above, which are high enough to accumulate snow year round, are the home of the Snow elves, and the forests home to the Wood-elves and most High elves.
    
    There is also a small kingdom territory in the forest that belongs to a majority of the planet's fae folk (although all races are known to wander, and they are not excluded from this fact).
    
    Fire elves are known to be vagabonds, and they will often travel all over the kingdom, save for the icy peaks of the mountains. Some make their homes on the coast, however, where temperatures can at times be scorching enough for their tastes.

    Aepeniel is home to many winged creatures, save for most fae and a few other exceptions such as some dragons (they don't like to be confined to one space, you see). The main race is the Birdfolk, and they come in all shapes and sizes. From small bluebird people to the vulturekin, every clan is distinct. The kingdom is spread all across Elysara in the form of floating islands whose size range from only large enough to host a tree, to large enough to cater to an entire city plus some countryside surrounding it.

    A hidden city for pixies, faeries, and other small folk. It's located deep within the rainforest spanning the southeastern side of the continent. The magic shield around the city, which is powered by the life force of the king and queen themselves, hides both the village and its surrounding valley from prying eyes. Although this village is located within the main kingdom, the secretiveness of the fae causes them to have a need for their own monarchy. The king and queen are more of a figurehead, however, as the kingdom is led by a council of elders from each of the major races residing in the city. Few know of the existence of this city, but it is an existence that the leader(s) of the kingdom are unable to ignore, as the Fae Council often send messages to the capital asking to be an independent country.

    Also known as the City of Evil, Y'strava is a dark city located in the deep valleys of a mountain range close to the center of the country. It is populated by creatures such as thieving Spriggan faeries, goblins, and the most unstable of vampires. It is known to hold 'the worst of the worst,' and the crime rate there is so high that any attempts at a government have failed, resulting in total anarchy. The central government has tried many times to quell this danger, but somehow the city's inhabitants always get word of the incoming army and clear out the city before they can arrive.

    An oriental-style city on the western coast of the kingdom. There are many East Asian creatures residing there, such as Chinese dragons, animalistic demons such as Kitsunes/Gumihos, Nekos, etc., and Bulgasaris, among others of course. Thanks to its port, Manshir is one of the richest cities in the kingdom, and it has its place as the top port city in the kingdom due to its river access. As a result, many other creatures also reside here, though the majority are still part of some sort of East Asian mythology.

This RolePlay was supposed to take place in a Kingdom/Nation that was equal parts Fantasy and Sci-fi, with the capital city being a mixture of both. I was in charge of creating the Fantasy themed cities, and they were supposed to make the Sci-fi ones, but they mysteriously disappeared.

  To go along with 'Let's be Pirates!'

  
  The RolePlay takes place in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. The location, and whether it shall be in a place on Earth or a land that we ourselves shall make up, will be something that we shall decide together at a later time. The basics of the storyline are that one character is a young, homeless man who has been taken up by a seemingly (or perhaps genuinely) generous captain whose name is known all over the land (if the player choose to be genuine, the character will probably be known as 'Generous Captain _' or something similar). As time passes, the new recruit proves to be a natural pirate (or perhaps not?), and a bond of some sort forms between them. The rest will just have to play itself out.

  To go along with 'The Dreamscape'

  
  Muse A has been in Dreamworld for a long time. In fact, they've been asleep for a couple of months now. When their bodies are awake, their minds are still asleep, so what they see in their dream just shifts to match real-world things. Aka, they're delusional/sleepwalking. Muse B is new to being a Dreamer and happens upon Muse A whilst dreaming. Will Muse B be able to save Muse A, or will they be dragged into A's madness? (Inspired by my RolePlay with a Quotev user named Robin Raven Raphael)
  
  
  To go along with 'The Overworld' (*New Plot)

  
  Muse A, an angel, is suffering from depression that evolved from the grief of losing a close loved one. This grief has made them become a hermit of sorts, and they do almost nothing besides eating and sleeping. For an Angel, this is related to the sin Sloth. As a result, Muse A begins the falling process.
  
  Muse B is a human who wakes up in the Overworld with no memories or who they are and how they got there. Muse A finds them and takes them in, allowing B to live in a spare room. As they spend time together, Muse B slowly learns about what's happening to Muse A and tries to help them.
  
  Does Muse B succeed, or does Muse A end up falling and transitioning to a Demon of Sloth?
  
  CYOA/Quest PlotsApparently, RpN has a feature similar to what I refer to as CYOA RolePlays! So these will be plots for 1 on 1 'Quest' RolePlays.
  
  Plot 1: Fantasy Sim-Date (?)

  
  This storyline is more of a dating sim-esqe plot, with three totally different paths your character can take from the get-go (which in turn fork into more as you go down them). It takes place in a medieval, fantasy world, so there are many 'races' of creatures as well as several kinds of magics, so that's always fun to explore. This RolePlay does have an ending that ties directly to a romantic relationship: it's triggered by a true love's kiss. Cheesy, I know, but people seem to like it.
  

  Things to know:​

  ~At the beginning of the story, your character will wake up with no memories, so make sure not to mention anything that may have occurred before the events of the RolePlay.​

  ~The place is quite realistic and dangerous, which means one thing. Your character is totally able to die. Remember that when you do dumb things.​

  ~I like to illustrate the things in this plot with images from Minecraft that I've made, so let me know if that's alright!​

  ~The age range of the love interests goes from 19 to 32, so consider that when making your character​

  Plot 2: Sci-fi/Fantasy World Jumping

  
  This plot is more of a 'jump in and go' type of thing. You don't make a character sheet at the beginning; your character is created through the RolePlay. I don't want to spoil too much, but know that this is a type of world-jumping RolePlay, in which you'll go to many different worlds and meet a lot of different kinds of people.
  

  ~Like the other, it's a fantasy-type RolePlay, however it has a bit of sci-fi elements to it as well​

  ~Also like the other, your character doesn't have any memories, and you can also die in this​

  Plot 3: Prince Sim Date

  
  Your character has owned seven plushie dolls since they were a toddler, but they can never remember where they got them. One day, when they hit a certain age, the 'plushies' came to life as princes, dragging your character into their world and into adventures they didn't even think possible.
  

  ~This is a shitty description, I know, but it was inspired by a dream, and it's hard to describe the bullshit that went on.​

  ~As stated previously, there will be seven different princes for you to choose from.​

  ~This is more of an adventure based RolePlay (though romance will happen, eventually)​

  ~16, 18, and 21 are all common 'coming of age' ages, so you can choose one of those for your character or come up with your own (the princes' age range is from 17-27)​

  ~You have the option of just choosing one guy, or going for all of them at once. It's your decision, though there might be some people that won't want to get up with you if you choose someone besides them ;3​

  ~This will kind of be a Medieval/past type RolePlay (considering the fact that there are princes), and it will also have some fantasy elements to it (your character will be human, though, so don't try anything funny)​

  Don't be afraid to suggest something of your own! I like having a list of my own plots, but I also love hearing my partners' input! It's always more interesting to hear something from someone else, after all~
  Also, I have another RolePlay option I call 'RolePlays with Chance' which I can explain to you if you're interested! However, for that, I'd like to have a really flexible RolePlay partner. Because the RolePlay is based on chance, I have no idea what gender pairing we would be doing! That, plus a few other things, is why I need a partner who is flexible.
