It would not be required to have enough characters to have the tank fully crewed (even the anime itself would have inadequate crew multitasking sometimes. Like Turtle team runs the 4 crew Panzer 38(t) and later Hetzer with just 3 girls.) Skeleton crew should require Commander, Driver and Gunner, while Loader and Radio Operator could be background NPC with just a name if you wanted.

Name: Hilda Schultz (Iwamoto Hiruda 岩本 ヒルダ)
Personality: Energetic, forthright and independent with a lot of enthusiasm. Having grown up in the mountain range of Andes, Hilda is a lover of nature and hiking, she is a straight shooter and not the most diplomatic type when it comes down to it. This tendency can sometimes come off as downright rude despite her generally good intentions.

Background: Hilda and her non-identical twin sister Misaki are both half Japanese, with a Japanese father and German mother after the two married in Argentina. As the two parents are both busy businesspersons, the children were taken care of by their grandparents, with Hilda being raised in the German side of the family and Misaki on the Japanese side.

Her grandfather Wolfram Schultz is a farm owner, living in solitary with his golden retriever Rolf as his companion, halfway up the Andes Mountains near Bariloche in Argentina, it’s said that he had moved from Germany to Argentina after the end of WW2. An old man with a large amount of fortune and a formidable reputation in the village. She always felt her grandfather was hiding something from her, as there are documents in the house that would prove the Schultz family line were pure Aryan-German blood all the way back to 1700, and she vaguely remembered the first time she met her grandpa, his weary smile and the words “Ach so, twin sisters. Old Josef would’ve been so excited if he was still around...” On the other hand, Hilda also felt that he is overall a loving grandpa who is willing to spend time with his grandchildren, always full of wisdom and generous with advice when being asked. As a result, she’s very close to her grandpa who would let her pursue what she is interested in. When Hilda got her driving license, her grandpa sent her a Ferrari 458 coupe as a gift for celebration.

Hilda moved to Japan when she was 13 after her father was being transferred to the company’s headquarters in the homeland. With a Japanese parent, she waived the age requirement for naturalisation and became a full Japanese citizen.

Name: Misaki Schultz (Iwamoto Misaki 岩本 美咲)
Personality: She is a shy, respectful and polite girl, who is nonetheless strong-willed and courageous. Seemingly open-minded and gentle with a constant smile, but even her twin sister has difficulties seeing what she's really calculating inside her mind.
Personal favourite tank: Apocalypse Tank (Red Alert series)
Background: The twin sister of Hilda, Misaki had lived with her Japanese grandparents since she was little. Her family home is at Minamiminowa (南箕輪村), a village located in Nagano Prefecture, it takes around 3 hours to drive from there to Tokyo. The Iwamoto family had moved from the country’s capital to the rural village in early 1945 to avoid the constant American air raid in Tokyo, and did not bother to move away since then. Misaki’s great grandfather recently celebrated his supercentenarian birthday, whose name was Iwamoto Kazuo, before WW2 he joined the Naval Air Service via Flight Reserve Trainee Program (飛行予科練習生) when he was 16, the training lasted 4 years and a half, by then as a Flight Chief Petty Officer (上等飛行兵曹) he was assigned to pilot a Zero fighter just before the Battle of Midway. In the final month of the Okinawa campaign, he was chosen to carry out a Kamikaze attack, which he reluctantly accepted in confusion. After failing to locate the target in two sorties due to poor weather, his plane broke down in his third thus he performed a water landing near the island of Tanegashima, subsequently rescued by a patrolling Japanese submarine, on board which he received the “Jewel Voice Broadcast” on radio, the Emperor himself declared the end of war. Kazuo later served as an airline pilot in Japan Airline for years.

Misaki was raised to the standard of a traditional Japanese beauty while also having a certain amount of Samurai spirit attached to her, she likes to practice kenjitsu, often alone and in full formal clothes to show her respect for the katana, and because of her unrelenting practice, it’s said that she has become so strong that no one in the school can match her swordsmanship skills. When compared to her more outgoing sister, she would appear more reclusive and distant.

Her grandfather is a manga publisher editor and anime producer during the 1970s, the generation that laid the foundation to the Golden Age of anime in 1990s-2000s, with such influence, Misaki is also an otaku with a love for anime, comics and game, however she would still sometimes feel disconnected with her own generation of otaku as a lot the show she enjoyed were the classics that only known to more hardcore/old time anime fans.

Name: Miura Mei(三浦 芽依)
Personality: A typical delinquent tomboy. Although she has a calm side to his personality, she is mostly fiery and impulsive, with a strong sense of chivalry and loyalty. She can fight, but does not intentionally seek to cause trouble, but she is not one to keep a low profile either.
Personal favourite tank: P.1000 ratte
Background: Mei’s father Miura Hisato is an infamous illegal street racer and a member of the Yakuza crime syndicate, with his superb driving skill he was most well known for his high speed downhill record on Mount Tsukuba in Ibaraki Prefecture, with perfect handling on those large downhill curves and sharp corners while driving his Honda NSX-R, he was thus nicknamed “The Spectre of Tsukuba”. Hisato had no less than 15 criminal records in Japan, including but not limited to illegal racing, unlicensed possession of firearms and ammunition, intention to destroy or damage property to endanger the lives of others, recklessly endanger the lives of others, theft, driving without a license etc, he was jailed six times. There are rumours that he also used his car for drug trafficking, but if those rumours were true, at least he never got caught with it. Hisato is still wanted in China for crimes that “would certainly have him executed” if he was caught, but that did not stop the audacious man from illegally entering Macau to participate in the Grand Prix—and won. When the Chinese police arrived, they only found his abandoned stolen car in the pier as the man had already fled the country by a speedboat.

Mei’s biological mother Mikiko was also a lover of speed and racing, but she was tragically killed in an accident not long after Mei was born. Her stepmother Chizuru, ironically, was the police officer that had arrested Hisato after a crazy chase down the slope of Irohazaka, which involved jump leaping shortcuts in some of its 48 hairpin curves. After which they were so impressed by each other’s skill that they fell in love, happily married after Hisato served the 6 month sentence for evading arrest and reckless driving. Chizuru had since resigned from the police department and became an izakaya restaurant owner.

Mei would inherit the “Honda Spirit” that her father was so proud of. The first toy she got as a child was a Honda NSX, the first car she drove (as a minor at midnight without a license) was a Jazz, and the first car she bought after saving up money from part time jobs was a Honda Civic, Today she is the owner of a Honda Integra Type R DC2, trying to make a name for herself in the world of street racing with her capabilities and persistence. She is a bit annoyed that people would still say “Miura? Then Hisato must be your…?” when they heard her name. Mei also has an elder brother who is a Formula One racing driver.

Name: Otsuki Sara(大槻 紗良)
Personality: She is a beautiful girl with a sweet, innocent face and an exquisite figure, but she has an alcohol problem that she doesn't know how to stop the moment she lay hand on those bottles, and she is also a terrible drinker, making her sort of a troublemaker. But what's even more remarkable is that when the storm is over, she can look so innocent with her big, watery eyes that one has to forgive her, make people wonder if she has a double personality.

Background: Sara is aspiring to join the Japan Self Defence Force after she graduates high school, she is a military brat who was born and raised in Matsuyama, Shikoku, and she would be the fourth generation of JSDF in her family if she does enlist after she graduates. Although her alcoholism does raise concern about the prospect.

Name: Fiona Cheung
Personality: She doesn't like to get bogged down by the smallest details. To her, the simpler the better, so there is no need to make things so complicated, she struggled for quite a bit in figuring out how to operate the FuG 5 transceiver. Admittedly she is a little less competent than the top students, she lacks stamina, often loses strength and needs time to catch her breath after a short sprint in PE, but when it comes to seriousness and hard work, it's fair to say no one else is as good as her. She was born and bred in Taiwan, so she is very adaptable to her environment and can often perform above par in adverse situations. However, ......it would be apt if she could be a little more physically fit.

Background: Fiona is an exchange student from Taiwan who has finished her junior high grade in Hong Kong. In Japan, Taiwanese are often perceived to be rather blunt and direct due to the Taiwanese culture not emphasis on euphemistic speech as much as Japan, but Fiona had also been asked to be more direct while she was in Hong Kong, as Taiwanese are in turn seen to be too euphemistic in the eyes of Hong Konger, which indeed makes her felt a bit confused and decides she just want to be herself. She is more independent than an ordinary Taiwanese girl, a trait she picks up from her experience in HK alongside her linguistic skills, but she also tends to be more coquettish, akin to her Taiwanese compatriots. Like a typical Taiwanese, she doesn’t like walking, if the location is anywhere further than 500 meters away, she’ll take her motorbike. She seeks for higher education in Japan and her ultimate dream for now is to enter Keio University in Tokyo.

Name: Suwa Hisako (Uses characters for 'someone who helps')

Personality:

Loud and bombastic, Hisako is rarely glossed over by her peers due to her boisterous nature. She often acts without thinking, blundering her way through life and arguing that 'if its meant to be, it'll happen'. It can't be said that she has ever half-assed anything in her life, throwing her entire spirit behind whatever she's doing, regardless of the reason or circumstance. This has gotten her into trouble more times then she can count as she used to say yes to everything she was asked to do. She had a short stint as a thief from a local store before she was caught and understood the weight of saying no and the pain of consequences.

She lacks some common sense when it comes to interacting with people, often overriding other people in conversation or making decisions for them. She's also a sore loser and unable to admit when its time to give up, as well as someone who can't ignore another person needing help. In a way, most teachers and adults see her as a good-natured rascal, despite the mistakes she made while younger. In her own way, helping other people, whether they ask for her assistance or not, is her way of making amends to being so bone-headed as a child, since it was her parents who ended up paying for her stolen goods.

Finally, let it be said that she sees most things in a comedic light and doesn't get serious very often, this attitude does ,unfortunately, spill into her school life. She's passing. Barely. She does however, have a talent in the arts. She, like most of her crew, are all skilled in the arts, specifically manga. She is a scriptwriter for her teams manga series, which due to their ages and concern for safety, they publish under a pen name as a doujin circle. They have worked on a few, small pieces together but are currently working on a full series they hope to get picked up and serialized.

She likes fast food, chatting, cellphones, being generally active, writing, spicy foods and being involved in other peoples business. She tries to avoid responsibility, schoolwork, studying, and mild foods as much as possible. Is the hardest member of her team to scare. Her family life is quiet and peaceful as she lives in the school dorms, away from her family on the mainland. She still speaks to them from time to time. She also has to wear contact lenses due to her suffering from farsightedness. She pays the extra amount to get colored contact lenses, as her natural eye color is green.


Background:

The Wild Child, Suwa Hisako started her high school life flirting with the idea of joining a club. Her high energy and excitable personality initially got her the attention of several sports clubs. Basketball, softball, soccer, track, volleyball and tennis. All of which she was good enough to be a starter in, all of which kicked her due to her extreme personality and inability to commit to one. Having moved away from where she grew up as well, she saw it as fresh opportunity, one she didn't want to squander by sitting around and doing nothing. Letting her high school years pass her by didn't sit right with her.

When she did finally settle on a club, it was the literature club. Her expectations dropped when it turned out they were more into reading real novels and books as opposed to manga and she soon left. Rejoining the Going Home Club again she returned to her normal school life until she came across two other students, Okada Shion and Watabe Riko, who were ex-members of the Art Club. They shared an interest in manga over written books and quickly formed a strong, albeit strange, friendship. One mostly forced on to them by Hisako who was struggling to fit in due to her tendency to be the biggest personality in the room.

Nakano Yasu joined shortly after, though she is the polar opposite of Hisako. They joined Sensha-do as a means to better their work, since they are working on a tank based manga. Though some might consider this a bad reason to join, under Hisako they give 100% for the sport. After all, it might effect their bottom line.

Name: Nakano Yasu (characters means quiet and peaceful, but also can mean flat/smooth)

Personality:

On the opposite side of the scale from Suwa Hisako is Nakano Yasu. Quiet, collected, calm, an over thinker, studious, keeps to herself, has a part time job, responsible. Yet, she is insecure. She worries about her height, her weight, her skin, her future, her chest, her younger siblings, her relationships with her fellow students; if it exists she has worried over it at some point. Though, this isn't all doom and gloom. She has learned to be far more critical and notice the finer details of something with greater ease.

She has more prospects then the rest of Emu Team, her good grades already winning her several possible scholarships to several colleges and universities. Her parents couldn't be prouder of her, yet there is an issue for her. Unlike the rest of Emu Team, Yasu has an earnest appreciation and love of tanks. She isn't the kind to obsess and learn every detail about something but she does have more than a passing amount of knowledge about them. She wants the Sensha-do team to do well enough for her to feel more confident in joining a university with a team she can join. She hasn't told her family this yet as she is somewhat unsure of how well she, or her team, will do.

Yasu doesn't make friends easily since most conversations with her would seem pessimistic due to her voicing her worries with little provocation. She usually does this as a means of warning people that anything can go and they should be prepared, just in case. Most of this attitude comes from her helicopter parents who are unaware their daughter is in Sensha-do She usually spends her time alone in the library studying. She is the the teams editor for their manga.

She likes reading, studying, planning her week, cooking, volunteer work, and her part time job at a convenience store. She dislikes people who are disorganized, being late, over eating, eating out, the cold, the heat.


Background:

Nakano Yasu has had an easy life, her parents are both high ranking members of two companies, making more then enough money to live comfortable with their three children. Yasu, being the oldest, watched as her parents slowly moved further and further away from their family, spending less time at home until she and her younger brothers had to essentially schedule time with them. It didn't help that Yasu grew into her worrywart personality from a young age, often afraid of being abandoned by her near absent parents .

Though she was never abandoned by her parents, she still had to go it alone with the world, learning skills that teenagers usually don't have to learn. She manages a checkbook, a bank account, groceries and the nutrition of her two younger brothers. While also running a part time job on the weekends. While also begin an editor for a manga. And now, while doing Sensha-do as well. Yet, she manages.

Entering high school, she was still a loner, keeping people at bay with what she labeled was her maturity. However, she still managed to meet with a small group of people in the library who were hellbent on making their own manga. Worse yet they were more talented then she had been expecting and Hisako was rather pushy with getting her to read their first volume. After reading it and commenting on several minor mistakes, she was strong armed into joining as their editor. She chose to go along with it for reasons she still isn't sure of. Maybe it was the notion of doing something for herself, or the idea of some kind of tiny rebellion, but she started to edit for them, knowing that her parents would look down on such a measly life style. And in them she found a group of people who managed to ignore her more negative personality traits.

Name: Watabe Riko (characters means reason and child)

Personality:
Watabe Riko is the simultaneously both the most mature and immature member of the team. Her natural grace and pleasant persona is strangely dotted with unobtrusive risque materials. More often then not these jokes are very in the moment and hard to convey outside of the situation in which they occurred. She also doesn't make these jokes around everyone and seeing this side of her person is considered proof of being friends with her. Otherwise she is almost the living patron of grace and manners. She greatly appreciates the fine arts and high fashion. Her manners are impeccable, saying what she means and almost never offending anyone at the same time.

Her family life is comfortable enough, she is the only child and doted on by her parents who are both supportive and unaware of her one her vice (her jokes). They see the art of Sensha-do as the perfect way to shape and balance her womanly wiles into near goddess like levels. She was the one who initially showed the most interest in joining Sensha-do to increase her own skills at drawing tanks from the inside. Of the group she is the primary artist, having been given arts classes and lessons for years before meeting the others. It was in these classes that she discovered her love of the cruder side of art when she visited the wrong store one day, walking into an adults only literature section of a store. This event changed her view of art forever and piqued her interest in crude manga and hentai. From which she has taken great inspiration, even if most of her work is still sfw.

She is, on the whole, a friendly person and very supportive of those around her. She see's any talent, wish or dream of others as worthwhile and gladly spurs them on in following through with them. She rarely fusses and takes most things in stride and the few times she does become upset it only last for a few moments before her smile returns, like nothing ever even happened. The few people who have ever seen this irate side of her claim its like looking into the mouth of Hell itself, however. She also frequents online art websites and has gained a bit of notoriety online for her more mature artworks. Though she refuses to show them to anybody in person.

She likes most things common with high society such as opera, expensive clothes, fancy cars and luxury goods. However, she doesn't turn her nose up at less expensive things either. She really doesn't like people who throw their money or influence around, nor is she a fan of people who take unnecessary risks.

Background:

Watabe Riko was born into a wealthy family that has been the head of one of the longest running construction business in the world, with a focus on building religious buildings. As such she has lived in the lap of luxury her entire life, only rarely being split away from being handed everything she could want or need. Her parents initially pressured her into attending a more prestigious and private high school but Riko was far more interested in bumping elbows with 'normal' kids her age. Her natural beauty and personality quickly turning her into the princess of whatever class she was in. She of course did everything in her power to avoid those titles but they were given to her regardless.

She had no interest in such notions, however, and continued to attempt to live a more normal life, almost entranced with the idea of being a run-of-the-mill high school girl. She was drawn to the Art Club of the school but her natural talents quickly killed the spirits of the club who had trouble even matching her skills. She voluntarily left so as to not spoil the mood but remained closely related to the others in the club. She did meet Okada Shion, who left the art club shortly before she did, who pointed out that she recognized her art style and wanted to pick her brain for pointers. The two shared their art (For Riko it was her more tame pieces) and quickly became friends, eventually settling in the library after school to talk and draw.

They eventually came to the conclusion of drawing their own manga and while working on it, drew the attention of Hisako who decaled herself their scriptwriter. This marked the beginning of their strange friendship, along with another girl that Hisako managed to force into the group, Yasu. As they settled on writing a full manga now that they had a team the question became on the story. Obviously it had to be tank related. To get more experience in the field of tanks, Riko convinced the team to join Sensha-do to motivate them to write a great manga.

Name: Okada Shion (characters used means poem and sound)

Personality:
Okada Shion is the most normal girl on the team. Or perhaps the word average would be better. She is slightly shorter then most of her peers but everything else about her is average. Average grades, family, lifestyle, home, neighborhood, diet. Everything is average for her. Which leads her to try and find something to excel at. She has the will to put herself forward and try new things as often as possible but is also easily discouraged when she doesn't do well at something. She can be rather quick to respond to something, usually not thinking about giving a proper response, meaning she is easy to tease. This combination of things usually represents her as being easily agitated when in reality she is just jumpy.

Her family life is hectic, living in the dorm away from her family as her parents go through a divorce. Shion tries to avoid conflict as much as possible but her quick responses often lead her to more trouble. She's the only member of the team who holds grudges and is very slow to admitting she's wrong. She also has an enormous sweet tooth and rarely goes a day without eating a snack at some point. She is bad at managing anything and spends far to much money on candy, and spends to much time working on the teams manga to study well enough to do better at school. In the group she's been delegated to the teams assistant artist, helping Riko with the detail and background work.

She also has an innate talent in eavesdropping. She never intends to listen in on other peoples conversations but she manages to be just unnoticeable enough to hear things she's not supposed to. She is also terrible at keeping secrets and has to tell someone the second she hears one. She is also easily frightened and very guarded when it comes to approaching strangers, regardless of their age. And like most girls her age, she is very cautious when it comes to anything to do with boys. Lastly, she is somewhat scared of the sport of Sensha-do. She understands that it is perfectly safe but the idea of having another tank shoot at her is still terrifying.

Shion loves animals, the park, being outside, video games, good manga, the winter and candy above all else. She doesn't like the dark, strangers, hospitals, homework or spicy food.

Background:

Shion elected to move away from her family as soon as she started high school. Her home life had become more and more awkward as her parents started to get a divorce and she was caught in the middle of it, whether she wanted to be or not. Not wanting to choose sides between her parents, she chose a high school as far from her home as she could reasonably join. For the most part it helped to settle her down and let her get back to having a normal life. She entered high school with no real expectations other then to pass and join the work force whatever office job she was most suited for. Like most students she aimed to join a club that fit her talents but realized that there wasn't much she was talented at.

She figured that art was her best skill and aimed for that. She fit in well enough but was massively overshadowed by the majority of the club and was discouraged from continuing to go, not by her peers but by her own standards. She was however very familiar with online forums and certain internet artists, noting that another newer member of the club used a very particular signature for their works, the same as a moderately popular internet artist. Approaching Watabe Riko, who had also recently left the art club for her own reasons, they struck up a cordial relationship with art as their focus but before long they were fantasizing about producing their own manga, even if for their own reasons. Hisako and Yasu joined shortly after that.

Shion was the last to agree to the plan to join Sensha-do, always seeing the idea of fighting in a tank as terrifying. Riko was the one who ultimately convinced her to join, if only to finally force her to see something through before she could completely discourage herself and give up. Hisako egging her on did help somewhat too.

Collective Backgrounds: First meeting when they were five, Person, Trombley, Colbert, and Hasser have been friends for years, as their parents were all co-workers. Due to work, they moved around a lot, but every time they moved, they all moved together, resulting in an unbreakable bond that no one could join. When old enough, their parents collectively decided to send them to an academy, someplace more stable. It was here that they developed a love for re-enacting, and joined their school's tank re-enactment club. Due to the publicity the club got, they met Erin Wright, a school reporter who was fascinated in their close friendship. A year after finally settling down, they were uprooted as their school was closed due to budget cuts, and were transferred. Erin decided to tag along, now part of the group. They were able to have a tank from the re-enactment club transferred with them, and began to make modifications to it.
They own quite a bit of gear, and always make expensive purchases, and due to this they must maintain jobs and pool their money.

Name: Winter Hasser
Personality: The most quiet member of the group, she tends to be in her own world, only being pulled back out of it when it hits the fan. When the crew sings, she usually lays down a beat.

Personality: Definitely the loudest and most outspoken member of the team, she absolutely loves music, and that love often rubs off on her crew. Due to her outspokenness, she will openly criticize a plan or mistake, and is always willing to input her ideas. She also is the first to admit her won issues, and is willing to receive criticism to do better in the future.

Personality: Definitely a bit nuts, she is affectionately known as "Happy Meal" by her crew mates, notoriously for how much she loves them and her constant happy attitude. She also has a love for history.

Personality: Definitely the outsider in the group, she nonetheless is accepted and is an integral part of the crew. She also is usually clueless as far as it goes to tanks, and usually asks a lot of questions. What she lacks in tank knowledge she makes up for in being able to play an instrument, something everyone else in the crew lacks.

Description:
The Strv m/42 TH has a 75 mm L/31 gun which has great elevation and depression. The amour is between 9mm-55mm in thickness. The weakest armour is the engine deck and some of the turret roof (rest is between 10-20mm) and hull top. At the front the armour is around 55mm and has good sloping. Has roughly between 25mm-30mm of armour at side and rear of the hull. The turret at the front is 55mm and the gun mantlet is also 55mm. The turret sides are between 25mm-30mm and the rear is 20mm. The tank is fairly narrow which makes the gunner position require a short person in order for them to fit. The tanks top speed is 26mph (42km/h) and it does fairly well off road.

Name: Watanabe Fumiko

Personality: Has a warm personality and is one of the nicest girls you will ever meet. Can be a bit oblivious at times and says things without thinking. Gets insecure and nervous when she tries to learn something by herself. Fumiko doesn't realise that the reason why boy talk doesn't do anything for her is that she isn't interested in boys.

Background: Born to parents of different nationalities who fell in love due to there work and passion. Her mom was Japanese (fathers side) and Korean (mothers side) while her dad was an American. They met on the first day of a week long electronics convention and one thing led to another. They would have a long distance relationship for a year before Fumiko's father travelled to japan to propose. They got married a few months later though everyone asks why Funiko's father took her mothers surname. Turns out they had a contest to see who would take whose last name and her mother won 2 out of 3 random events drawn from a hat.

The two of them would eventually buy a store on a High School ship which they would turn into a electronics store. They chose to move onto a High School ship because they where fascinating pieces of engineering and both of them loved engineering as a hobby. Her parents were only able to have one child so Fumiko was the centre of their world. They would have to alternate shifts at the store so Fumiko wasn't alone but they made sure to close the store a few days so they could all spend time together. With both her parents madly in love with engineering and electronics it wasn't long before little Fumiko caught the bug as well. Growing up she would have a whole range or personal projects occupying her time like building a 3D printer or a robot spider. To fund these projects when she got older she would fix bits and pieces for the neighbours. Occasionally she would help her parents rebuild engines as a hobby. Both her mother and father also taught her how to do good bbq though off course the styles where different. Something she learned entirely from her farther was boxing when she found her fathers own one day and asked him to to teach. Her dad was more than happy to make sure she could knock any boys lights out.

Growing up Fumiko shared everything with her parents except one thing she felt terribly embarrassed about sharing. It wasn't anything bad she just felt self conscious about showing anyone. It all started when she was thirteen and bored one day looking online and came across some software for making you own music. Being bored she clicked on and got started immediately and really enjoyed herself. It was days later when Fumiko realised she hadn't told her parents about her secret hobby and she realised talking them scared her. It was the realisation that this was the first thing she had learned by herself. Fumiko never got the encouragement telling her what she made was good when it came to her music and her fear of failure and embarrassment has kept her from sharing her secret passion with anyone. So she keeps making music and hiding it on memory sticks not knowing what else to do.

Fumiko's first friend growing up was Emiko Suzuki who she met when the girl came round to Fumiko's house in hopes of getting her controller fixed. When Fumiko looked at it she asked Emiko how she broke it and the girl replied that she hit it off the wall and into the her fish tank. It was such a blunt reply that Fumiko couldn't help laughing which got Emiko laughing. Curious about what game could cause the girl to get so angry she asked her and the other girl proceeded to show her a game trailer and she explained the game mechanics and world in great detail. With such a passionate speech Fumiko was eager to play so Emiko invited her to come over and play once she had a working controller again. They spent the next few hours talking about other games while Fumiko fixed the controller. As soon as it was finished they were around Emiko's house playing all sorts of games. Eventually Emiko introduction Fumiko to her friend Hoshi thus forming there friendship trio which would stay a trio for a few years until Namika showed up one day. Even though she has become close friends with these girls Fumiko is still to scared to tell even them about her love of music. She doesn't want to tell them that she want to be a sound engineer so she can make video games with them.

Name: Suzuki Emiko

Personality: Emiko is the cutest, sweetest and bubbly girl you have ever met until things get competitive in anyway and she gets all hyperactive. If she looses badly then she will have a little tantrum for a minute before collapsing exhausted. It usually takes her a few hours before she is back to be sweat old self. Always needs to be doing something otherwise she gets all worked so she can be pretty chatty. If she's not talking then she is usually fiddling with something if she can't use her handheld console. Emiko won't wear anything that's not bright and colourful and loves plushies.

Background: Emiko had a wonderful childhood with her parents and two older sisters. Her mother worked at Suwa Girls Academy as the school nurse while her father worked from home as an artist. Though with three little girls he spent most his time caring for them than actually doing art though he did get some time at night to work on it. Seeing his paintings and having her father around a lot really encouraged Emiko and her sisters to try and be creative. Emiko it turns out was pants at art unless she was doing drawing on a computer or tablet. Her oldest sister Himari was infatuated with fashion design and would often draw ideas for her dream wardrobe. Her other sister Yua loved making little stop motion movies with her Lego figures building entire sets from Lego.

When Emiko was five she heard her sisters talking about what they where gonna do when they got out of school. Of course Himari wanted to design her own clothing line of practical dresses with pockets and Yua wanted to work in film industry designing sets. Hearing her sisters talk about what they wanted to do with such passion really inspired Emiko. So Emiko googled what jobs people who where good at digital art do and she saw character design for video games. Now being little she didn't have any idea how hard this would be and that it wouldn't be as fun as playing them. However the stubbornness and determination of a five year old can be a very powerful thing. Thus Emiko would often use her money to buy video games to research lots of different styles. In all honesty she loved playing the games too and sometimes got lost in her so called research.

One day Emiko went down to the local arcade to see what they had and that's where she met Hoshi and the too hit it off immediately. Emiko loved how Hoshi would give her input on how to make her characters more eye catching from a gamers point of view. More often than not though they just enjoyed talking to each other about games and playing them round each other's houses or at the arcade. One day Emiko was playing some games online and it wasn't going very well so she had a little tantrum and her controller flew out of hands hitting the wall and then falling into her fish tank. Asking her mom what to do she told her about this local girl who fixed things for a reasonable price and to take it to her and this leads us to how she met Fumiko and how she would eventually introduce Fumiko to Hoshi.

Name: Harada Hoshi

Personality: The best possible description for Hoshi would be easy going and eccentric. Wether she's taking a test or fighting a boss Hoshi will remain calm and have a smile plastered on her face. Oddly she won't where anything that is not video game branded and has to wear several accessories as well. If she spots any video game clothing or accessories she doesn't have she will feel compelled to it buy it (unless the game it's from is bad). Loves to dance.

Background: Hoshi was Born and raised on a school ship as her father owned the arcade on it called Pixel Paradise. Her father also had to raise her on his own since she was a toddler as her mom passed away. He didn't have any money early on to hire baby sitter either so he had to take her down to the arcade with him each day. Thankfully baby Hoshi loved the lights and sounds. Occasionally Hoshi's grandparents would come visit when the ship was in a nearby port however they were to old and settled to move onto the ship for good. Also there wasn't any room to move into the two bedroom flat above the arcade.

As soon as Hoshi got old enough to walk and stand on her own she was playing on any game arcade her father would let. In most circumstances she would end up playing older more kid friendly games like pac-man and space invaders. A lot of the newer arcade games were to violent and she had to wait until she was older but they were definitely worth the wait in her opinion. However due to her young childhood she developed a fondness for old school style games. One day while playing on one of her favourite arcade game she noticed another girl who she later would find out was called Suzuki Emiko was watching. So being polite Hoshi asked her if she wanted to play but other girl said she wasn't sure how to play so Hoshi showed her what to do and the two struck up a conversation as they played. It wasn't long before they were friends and making plans to see each other again. They have been friends ever since. They would do a bunch of things together but whenever Hoshi got to choose what they did she would often choose one of the dancing games.

A few months after they met Hoshi was looking through Emiko's character drawings and asked her if they moved. Emiko responded with a no but said they could move if someone set it up and did the work telling her about all about game animator. Hoshi was never one to watch game credits or so much work so she never realised there was such a job. The idea really appealed to Hoshi who had a keen eye when it came to how things moved in video games. Hoshi asked Emiko if she could practice animating her characters which Emiko had no problem with. So ever since Hoshi has been animating Emiko's characters and they plan to make video games when they older together.

Name: Takada Namika

Personality: Namika is a very studious girl and likes to keep herself organised. She has a very short fuse on her anger for anything that interrupts her while she is working. Always someone who says what they think is right and will stand by what she says and believes. Loves pranking but there has to be a good reason for pulling one as she can't just prank an innocent as she calls it. She also loves spray painting messages on the side of buildings but again there has to be good cause behind it. Namika really lightens up when she gets to break the rules or she is around her friends. Can be fairly sarcastic and cheeky at times. In public she keeps up a slightly frosty facade as a defence mechanism. Namika is an in the closet when it comes to her sexuality even with her friends and family.

Background: Born the daughter of a multi millionaire business man it's fair to say Namika didn't want for anything in life. However it wasn't a happy child hood as her mother was an air headed socialite and encouraged Namika and her 3 sisters to be the same. Her mother was just a pretty face that married rich and didn't bother with grades in school. What's disgusting is her father didn't encourage his daughters to be anything more than house wife's. Her farther was known for his bad reputation and his company had an equally bad reputation in the media and online.

Growing up she tried to convince her sisters to study hard so they could get somewhere in life they just laughed and called her a nerd. Namika would often hide away and study to avoid her mum and sisters giggling moron friends. In her sister case some of there friends were down right bullies and would pick on her when they came round. Her mom said that maybe she should stop studying and home and make some friends while her farther if he was ever around would just grunt. Instead she retreated into the online world of gaming and later on video game coding. She secretly dreams of being a coder for game developer and hasn't shared her dream with any of her family.

When she got into her preteens she started an online blog about her life and beliefs which were very much against her parents views. So to put a stop to this they shipped her off to a prep school for young ladies. She was kicked out only month after school started for pulling numerous pranks and spray painted slogans around the school. When she got home she and her parents got into a big argument where Namika said she would rather live with anyone else besides them which her parents took to heart and shipped her off to live with her grandparents on her mothers side. At the time she wasn't even aware that they were still alive as they had never been mentioned before. It was a fairly long nerve racking trip to her grandparents where she thought about what they could be like. Namika certainly had time to think as she had to take a plane, a train then finally a small ferry to a High School Ship.

When she arrived Namika arrived she received the warmest welcome she had ever had. It wasn't something she was used to and both her grandparents hugging her at the same time was a rather awkward experience for her. On the way home her grandparents told her a bit about themselves. Her grandfather was retired but used to own a shop selling board games which he still loved playing and collecting. Her grandmother was still working as her history teacher at a school for young children of family's who lived on ship. That was somewhat comforting and terrifying as it means her grandmother was educated but was also going to be teaching her until she went to the Senior High School. Eventually she opened up to her grandparents once she was finally settled. She enjoyed playing boardgames with her grandparents and there friends and they both told great stories. Namika couldn't figure her her mother ended up the way she did and it wasn't a topic she was going to bring up with her grandparents. However a topic she was finally comfortable about telling them was her dream of become a video game coder. Her grandmother suggested that she might want to talk to certain trio of girls at school who she might want to make friends with.

The next she took her advice and went over to talk to the girls her grandmother suggested she make friends with and that is how Namika met Fumiko, Hoshi and Emiko. It was a fairly awkward conversation until Hoshi asked if she played any games on her laptop and when she listed off some of the games she played as well as the fact she coded a few simple ones herself the conversation really started to flow. From that day on Namika was the fourth member of the group. They got so close that they all want to go to university together even now at High School they remained this close. They were so close that they would only pick clubs that they could all agree on joining which were none until Tankery was restarted.

Personality: Lonna is a rather docile and calm person who sorta rather just flows through life with the current, but isn't blind to the world and works with a subtle hand to ensure waves don't disturb her lazy river. She tends to keep strangers at a distance and prefer to study anyone she will interact with and draw a conclusion from their action.
Personal favorite tank: Chi-Ha
Background
Lonna came to academia after a local u.s army installation and the school came to an agreement for her and two others to join the school for Sensha-do. Since the installation was outside of Saunder's influence, but also as a gesture of friendship and cohesion from military post to the locals. Lonna is part of the post JROTC program and has the "lofty" title of cadet Sargent, with her juniors calling her Sarge to her annoyance. She doesn't have much of a background in the Sensha-do but is more of an armchair general and isn't exactly green in the leadership department but rather just shy away from it.

Name: Frankie O'conner
Personality: Frankie can come off as harsh and maybe even as nasty, but it's in good faith at least to those inside of her cliche. Though once somebody gets over her stern and abrasive nature she can be one of the friendliest and loyal friends one can have.
Background: Frankie has some experience around tanks, but mostly just as a wrench turn or applying a camo net or a paint job. She was part of the first years on post jumping at the chance to restore her crew Ke-Ni so it was only natural for her to join the crew on the exchange program, and though it took a bit for her other two crewmates to get past her aggressive and mean defense.

Name: Sarah Marshal
Personality: Sarah is a happy-go-lucky type of girl who just wants to make friends, though to the annoyance of her friends. Her personality is a stark contrast from her two crewmates but usually acts as a mediator of sorts when the trio has a huddle or when they encounter new people.
Personal favorite tank: Valintine
Background: She is the child of the post commander and though she doesn't know much about tanking. She is avid at learning more about Japan and wished to experience life on the other side of the fence. Thus she invited herself into the crew and with her infectious friendliness won over both Lonna and Frankie. She is the mastermind behind the trio joining the Senshado at the Suwa Academy with her father influence and paycheck she was at least able to pitch the idea of a joint operation.

Personality: Enigmatic, calm, collected and distant. The Student Council President is a person of few words, holding true to the notion of 'actions, not words'. Her enigmatic nature is especially potent with her wide range of skills, seemingly gifted in most everything she puts her mind to. Though, in reality, she just has exceptionally good luck. She gets along with most people and is very courteous, which gives her a good reputation amongst adults as well. She often acts mature when the simple truth is that she would still like to be a kid at heart. She is easily mesmerized by new and exciting things.

Favorite Personal Tank: Canadian Valentine

Background: Etsuko grew up in Tokyo with her family, changing schools frequently as her father's job constantly moved around. Her upbringing was mostly normal despite her father's job forcing them to move around the many districts of Tokyo quite often. Since she never had a chance to sit down and figure out her own hobbies, she latched on to whatever friends she made along the way, usually indulging in their hobbies to make up for her own. When her family finally settled down in Suwa she was accepted into their associated school ship.

Though she didn't set out to be the Student Council President, she was more or less pushed in that direction by the first few friends she made at the ship school, Nijiko and Hinata, both of whom were already aiming to join the student council. Her wide set of skills and mysterious personality made her an enticing option to the school body. Though she did win, she still allows Morika and Hinata to handle the majority of the majority of the responsibility.

Personality: As straightforward as a person could possibly get, Morika will tell you how it is. She won't mince her words but will be as equally quick to help or at least brainstorm how to resolve an issue. Perhaps this is part of why she has been so successful as the Public Relations Officer for the school. She is probably the most physically fit person at the school, she usually spends any school festival with her own arm wrestling arena, which she usually dominates. Her potent physical form is the reason they don't need a second loader for their 152mm shells. She is also quick to jump to conclusions and doesn't often think very hard about the future. She has a very easy going attitude. Is obsessed with American food.

Favorite Tank: Bob Semple Tractor Tank

Background: Morika lived a quiet life with her family at their farm in Tatsuno, Nagano Prefecture. She spent most of her young life going to school and helping with the farm. Her grandparents were members of a sensha-do team, though they never won any awards due to being overshadowed by more prominent teams. They still pushed her into the idea of joining a team once she entered high school. However, her parents were more interested in her taking time off from school to focus on the family farm, as she was the only heir and her parents were getting up there in their years.

She instead chose to act for herself and leave for Suwa Girls Academy, hoping to bring about the tournament victory her grandparents never got. She chose to run as the Public Relations Officer since she was already used to a similar position from her hometown (she was responsible for gathering people for village assemblies for local politics and handing out fliers for events). She also speaks with a bit of a rural accent.

Gunner Tamura Hinata 田村 日笑

Personality: Born with a silver spoon in her mouth, Hinata has forsaken that life. She has thrown herself into her grandparents advice, preparing herself body and soul for the battlefield. She can come across as very dedicated and single minded to her goal. Nearly everyone is aware of her dedication yet it still manages to come across as extreme. Her extreme personality was also the cause of her losing the student council election. Her personality can have its downsides as she is very brash and will take any challenge, no matter how odd or dangerous. She also has let her grades slip somewhat as her focus on sensha-do has increased as the sport draws closer to starting for Suwa Girls Academy.

Personal favorite tank: Renault UE Chenillette

Background: Born in Sendai amongst the rich and powerful, Hinata is the spare heir to a munitions' manufacturing company, one of the few who provides rounds for sensha-do itself. her elder brother is the heir apparent. She grew up with nearly everything she could ever want and yet still wanted for more. The best tutors and toys, the best clothes and friends money could buy. Yet, something was still missing. Her parents, who she was close to, provided her with everything but the challenge she was craving. Her grandparents, old and wise, offered her council. The Tamura had been samurai with the man who made Sendai great, Date Masamune, whom they shared blood with. The craving she felt was normal for the Tamura, to seek victory from their foes. But since she wasn't the heir to the family, she had no foes in the political world like her brother did. Her grandparents counseled that she leave home to join a sport that would allow her to test her raw skill against another.

She chose Suwa Girls Academy almost by happenstance, simply choosing one with a school ship that wasn't too far from home. She ran for Student Council President but lost to Etsuko in a landslide vote. She chose to take a place as Treasurer, since she was already used to managing accounts from growing up with a large allowance she had to manage herself.

Personally: Nijiko is the glue that holds the student council together. She is the super friendly and simple minded girl who has managed to be friends with all three members of the student council (and their wild personalities) since they joined the school. She is a normal girl when compared to them, perhaps her main talent being her unyielding optimism. Some people joke she might either be bipolar or unstable, since she can break down into tears at a moments notice and bounce right back into her usual chipper self just as quickly. She has no enemies and considers everyone she runs into her friend. All of whom she cares for deeply, giving her a very full schedule as she tried to spend as much time being social as she can. All in all, a bright girl who brings joy to most everyone around her. Likes death metal.

Favorite Tank: Panzer II Luchs

Background: Nijiko grew up in Suwa itself, her grades just barely passing enough to get her into Suwa Girls Academy. She initially set out to have a normal school life, doing her best with homework, studying and juggling her new social life on such a strict schedule. This didn't last long as she got involved in both campaigns for Etsuko and Hinata, assisting both in aiming to be Student Council President. Though, of the two, Hinata needed the most help due to her warrior spirit being off putting to most of her would-be voters. When the dust settled and Etsuko won, Hinata was convinced by Nijiko to gracefully accept the position of Treasurer instead.

She had no real intention to join sensha-do, really only doing so because the student council asked her to and she wanted to help them as much as she could. She acts like something similar to an adjutant with for the Council as well, though it is an unofficial position she chooses to do of her own volition.

Short description of the tank and specification:

Created as a counter to german heavy tanks, the IS-2 took the lessons the soviets had learned from earlier tank designs such as the KV series as well as the T-34 and combined them all to created a monster of a heavy tank. Combining heavy armor with a large caliber gun, the IS-2 was more than capable of dealing with most anything that the germans could throw at it, though it's low speed and heavy weight would cause issues when crossing over muddy, soft or otherwise difficult terrain.

Eri Oyama
Personality: Witty, bold, and at times condescending or even rash, Eri has all the abilities to be a fearsome tank commander, even if she can be hard to work with at times. Her personality out of the tank reflects this as she to keep her team in tip top shape. Eri oftentimes struggles with this as growing up without many friends she often doesn't know how to differentiate a subordinate and a friend/teammate. Even still she is incredibly grateful to her team and is highly protective of them, acting almost as a parent to them, even if quite strict.

Backstory: Born in the Chiba province Eri Oyama is the oldest and the leader of the Bear team. Her parents were both diplomats and as such she spent most of her life traveling the world. Due to this Eri found it hard to meet new people and instead opted to immerse herself in local cultures, learning various languages as well as becoming quite an astute chef. However it was other nations military technology that caught her interest most. It was during a stay in Moscow that Eri was first introduced to tanks, getting the honor of attending one of the Victory Day parades. It was here where she fist was able to see T-34s parading confidently down the avenue guns held high in the air as the band played a triumphant march. Back in Japan she quickly joined a sensha-do team, finding herself quite adept at it. Her wit and ability to issue commands rapidly allow her to be an adept commander, though she can often come off as harsh at a glance.

Kovaleva Sisters

Sonya Personality: Sonya is in a word, outgoing. Her style and personality often reflect this. She loves hanging out with her friends, playing loud music and to the great dismay of her sister, going out and meeting new people. Sonya is also deeply cares about her sister and sometimes worries about her, though this often goes both ways with the sisters.

Arina Personality: The almost polar opposite of her sister, Arina is very laid back and introverted. This isn't to say she doesn't have many friends, her sister has made sure of that, but she often times prefers to skip going out to parties, instead favoring to tinker with machines or read a good book. Arina, despite being the same age as Sonya, is very protective of her sister, always keeping an eye out for her and being there for her for whatever reason.

Backstory: Born into a wealthy russian arms manufacturing family, the Kovaleva sisters grew up with tanks and other military equipment. From their early life they were found playing in tanks, pretending to be famous Soviet tank aces fighting back the germans on the Eastern front. At a young age however the sisters were moved to japan after their father ran into some legal trouble. It was here where they spent their early teenage years, often attending tankery matches, where they always routed for Pravada. As the sisters grew up they became more and more attached to the idea of participating in sensha-do, though their mother was firmly against the idea. It would take years of pleading and a final endorsement from their father that finally won over their mother and the Kovaleva sisters were finally able to compete tankery where they found that their growing up around tanks paid off.

Kaiya Mori
Personality: A bubbly, innocent, and upbeat person, Kaiya lives by the attitude that it's her purpose to try and make everyone around her laugh. While an easy task with Sonya, the other Kovaleva sister and her commander rarely crack a smile at her jokes or antics. However this does little to deter Kaiya who takes it only as a challenge, her stubbornness and resolve coming through as she tries to make her friends outwardly laugh. This resolve also transfers over to tankery where Kaiya works tirelessly to load the IS's gun, doing her best to work with haste no matter how heavy the shells, nor how cramped the turret.

Backstory: Born to a Japanese father and American Mother, Kaiya is a blend of two cultures. Her mother had been stationed in japan with the American Army when she first met her father, a member of the JSDF. Growing up with two military parents Kaiya was never far from military bases, as such she often got first hand and up close looks at vehicles, personnel and of every day life. In her younger years she spent long hours wandering military bases, trying to get the best views of everything she could, constantly wanting to just get a look inside the tanks, planes, or whatever else she was watching. Her chance came at Suwa with the tankery team. Joining up as soon as she was able Kaiya is the youngest member of the team. With a quick reaction time and strong muscles, despite her lean frame, Kaiya was made the loader of the Bear team, hauling the massive 122mm shells and loading them into the cannon.

Team Wolf

Short Briefing on the T-44-100:
The T-44-100 was and is an attempt to arm the the T-44A with a better armament than the ZIS-S-53 85mm cannon. Few of these particular models exist as many of them were turned into the T-54 series of tank. However the Japanese Sensha-Do league has paid for the transformation of regular T-44As into the T-44-100 Variant.

Engine: V-44 12-cylinder 4-stroke diesel engine of 520 hp (388 kW) at 1,800 rpm.

Name: Takeda Kotori
Personality: Kotori is a loud showboat of a girl, most would place her in the Airhead category but would ultimately be proven wrong. Driven by a strong rebellious spirit Kotori pushes herself past her physical and mental limits quite often leading to many of her Kin comparing her to their ancestor Harunobu.
Personal favourite tank: “It’s Definitely gotta be our Type 61s, too bad the League won’t let us use them.”
Background: A direct descendant of the Genji Minamoto and Kai Takeda, Kotori grew up in the Takeda’s main manor in Kai. From a young age Kotori has been exposed to the world of Sensha-Do in the form of her Mother who at the time was in a College level Sensha-Do team; Kotori and her father would attend her Mother’s matches and cheer her on. Kotori’s fascinacion with Sensha-Do grew stronger when her Mother was hired by Shiho Nishizumi to help at Kuromorimine.

In Middle School Kotori’s Mother moved out of the Takeda Manor to live on the Kuromorimine school ship. After this Kotori’s Father began forbidding Sensha-Do related activity going as far as ordering a family servant to keep an eye on Kotori at all times to prevent her from watching Sensha-Do matches on her computer or phone. Thus Itagaki Myokyu or Myoko joined Kotori’s daily life. When Kotori began High school at Suwa she learned of the Sensha-Do course and she signed up immediately dragging Myoko and her cousin, who had been made to attend Suwa, with her.

Name: Nanbu Yuki
Personality: Generally pleasant and occasionally the Cynic. Yuki is a very strong willed girl forging her own path in life not letting anything drag her down. She has been described by some to be a mother hen.
Personal favourite tank: “Uh, I’ve always thought All-Star Uni’s Centurion was cool.”
Background: From a Branch family of the Takeda, the Nanbu. Yuki Grew up in Sendai with her Father. Yuki matured very quickly in her household taking on her late Mother’s role, cooking, cleaning, shopping, and taking care of her drunkard Father. She lived this way with nary a complaint however in her first year of Middle school her father was arrested for public drunkenness and assault. At that point Child protective services sent her to live with her closest relatives in the Takeda Main household.

Yuki spent most of her time in the manor alone only ever associating with her cousin Kotori and her handmaiden Myoko. In school Yuki managed to amass friends due to her mature nature and she enjoyed herself there. She had planned on heading to Tokyo for High school however her guardian forced her to attend Suwa Academy with Kotori who dragged her into Sensha-Do.

Name: Itagaki Myokyu (Also goes by Myoko and Myorin)
Personality: Energetic and caring, Myokyu is a very attentive girl and generally overly curious. She’s also been described as a foodie by both Kotori and Yuki.
Personal favourite tank: “What? Oh uh, I guess Our Wolf(T-44-100) tank is cute”
Background: Born as a Takeda clan retainer Myokyu was raised by her parents to be a handmaiden for the Takeda household. From a young age she was taught all sorts of life skills in addition to general academics. Myokyu was often praised by the Takeda for being a quick learner and she was rewarded for her efforts by being assigned to Kotori. In her time with Kotori, Myokyu was supposed to discourage Kotori’s obsession with Sensha-Do however Kotori quickly won her loyalty through the use of food.

When Myokyu joined Kotori in Suwa Academy she obtained her learners permit, at her parents' demand, to drive her mistress whenever needed because none of the Takeda Retainers would be there to do it. When Kotori joined the Sensha-Do team and dragged Myokyu with her she was made the driver and quickly turned her Permit into a valid Driver’s license.
