PANDORAโs BOX โ a cat-and-mouse rpg following the titular hackers and EXITUS HARPE, the bounty hunters hot on their trail. Set in the fictional world of Egress, we will watch our characters self-immolate, burning the world with them in search of their desires and in fear of themselves.

2,560,231 coin. More money than any of the members of Exitus Harpe has ever seen. Two million. A number that not even the greased-palm Nobility of Pandoraโs Box can comprehend. The largest bounty to ever be approved by all three law enforcement branches:

Little does the world at large realize that Pandoraโs Box lies within the septic heart of the Empire: Lazarus Alley, the gated community for the Nobility. The hackers believe themselves to be in relative safety until BEELZEBUB, a business contact, reveals to them that someone has gotten ahold of their partial I.P. address, their partial location. How could that be? VERONA asks, looking towards DIO, who had been just as careful. JUDAES shrinks, in fear it might be their inexperience. RAMIEL knows who it is that was so sloppy, and their elated smile fades.
THE MADAME, an illustrious informant, armโs dealer, and businesswoman, came to Exitus Harpe as the radio trilled with the ka-ching of Pandoraโs bounty. Bring the hackers to me, she told them as an incomplete string of numbers rang across DโARCโs screen, with PERSEPHONE leaning from their desk to better see. A partial I.P., a partial address. Lazarus Alley? FANG questioned, brow perched, looking toward HUCKLEBERRY. THE MADAME simply nodded. Into the septic heart, Exitus Harpe poses as one of the many visiting Gentry for this spring mating season, hoping to discover who exactly betrayed their government, their family, their primordial crown.
Yet, there is more than just a tale of cat and mouse. It is the tale of a snake eating itself. Ultimately, both teams will be forced to contend with who they actually are in the Empireโs matrix and who they want to be, if there is any choice in their role. More importantly, they will bear witness to the consequences of their actions, of their complacency, of their greed for more than just money, of their form of justice, of fate, and everything else in between. The Box has been unlatched โ who will be the one who opens it?

PANDORAโs BOX are a hacker team that consists of four childhood friends, all a part of the Nobility: RAMIEL, VERONA, DIO, and JUDAES.
At the onslaught of the game, PANDORAโS BOX will have just been given a groundbreaking bounty of 2,560,231 coin and a suspected I.P. address leaked. The hacker group is known for their targeting of the government and economy, though many of their hacks have been downplayed or had their true nature disguised.
STATISTICS
โข All four of them live in Lazarus Alley, the Nobilityโs neighborhood that resides in the heart of the Empireโs Capitol
โข The team formed in 994 or 4 years ago, at RAMIELโs urging.
โข Many of the members have other goals with the hackings of Pandoraโs Box, and it is quite possible that some of them completely oppose the group but are in too deep to back out now.
โข It wasnโt until the last two hacks that the members treated Pandora as a serious time commitment. They have always had their real lives to tend to, especially earlier in their young adulthood.

EXITUS HARPE

EXITUS HARPE are a crew of four bounty hunters: FANG, D'ARC, HUCKLEBERRY, and PERSEPHONE. They mostly operate independent of government oversight, but they still fall under the trappings of the Egressian Empire given bounty hunters are a legally-endorsed law-enforcement class. Additionally, they are known for utilizing criminal connections in order to get the job done, taking to the seedier underside of the world as a means to an end.

VERONA

VERONA is the means for the team PANDORAโS BOX. They taught the rest of the team how to code alongside DIO.
They are a Half-Nimm, which gives them more elven-like abilities.
JUDAES

JUDAES is the cover for the team PANDORAโS BOX. They are a popstar, crooning jazz tunes for an audience of millions. They are step-siblings with DIO.
They are a blessed Oracle, which are people who have the capacity to see the future and infer divine truths about the world.
DIO

DIO is the lamb of PANDORAโS BOX, having helped the team learn to code alongside VERONA. They are also a musical prodigy. They are JUDAESโs step-sibling. They have dreams of using PANDORAโS BOX to cause chaos and mayhem โ to take down the Empire that has made their life and the lives of their community hell.
They are a witch, who have the capacity to wield a specific type of magic that typically runs in their family. They come from a nomadic clan of witches from the provinces Tai, Hartland, or Rass.

They are a VESSEL/BLESSED, which is a species akin to a vampire.

DโARC is the tech of the team EXITUS HARPE.
They were experimented upon during the WOLFSBANE EXPERIMENT, giving them abilities akin to a werewolf or eldritch creature.
HUCKLEBERRY

They were experimented upon during the Fallen 30 experiment and have a specific, yet unique ability as a result.

Thank you so much for reading this far! We are so excited to delve into the world of the Egressian Empire. Your interest and time means so much! Below are some rules, but first here are some clarifications regarding the roleplay:
WHAT IS AN RPG?.
This roleplay will use DICE ROLLING as an element of this game, while CHARACTER PLOTTING and STORY will still play a major role in the plot.
WHY OFFSITE?
Discord will be used for OOC and the vast majority of the gameplay. Tumblr will be used to house the information of the roleplay. DISCORD WILL BE REQUIRED and HAVING A TUMBLR ACCOUNT WILL BE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BUT NOT REQUIRED.
