Being neighbors of the Omatikaya, Boku forbids any Sky People from dealings with his Clan. He takes his duties as Olo'Eyktan very seriously and cherishes his Mate and children. Wanting them to succeed and will do anything to protect them and their Hometree. Despite his serious nature, he is willing to take the time for those wanting to learn from him and his Mate. Especially when it comes to Eywa. When he speaks, he expects those to listen and take his words to heart. He demands respect but doesn't lead with a harsh hand. Whenever a Na'Vi is going to tame their own Ikran / Banshee, he attends the event to watch over and protect his People if necessary.
When he learns about the battle for the Tree of Souls, he listens to Jake Sully and Neytiri and is one of the first to recruit his Clan to fight against the RDA. He dislikes dealing with Jake but eventually comes around to him as a Na'Vi. When it comes to Eywa, he would die to protect Her and to keep his family and Clan safe. His Mate is against the RDA and Humans period, and a great argument about whether to fight or not comes between them. Eventually she sees Boku's way is right and permits him to fight with Jake and the other Clans.

Zina is a fierce protector and child of Eywa, now the Tsahik of her clan and Mated to Boku. She despises humans and the RDA, banning English from being spoken amongst their clan. When first meeting Jake Sully and Neytiri when they are on a recruiting mission against the RDA, Zina refuses to have anything to do with Jake, in regard to his humanity. Only when she is forced to see by Boku, that they must agree to fight against the RDA and with Jake, that she reluctantly agrees.
She places her eldest son in charge of watching the clan and those too young and can't fight to keep them safe, a duty which he takes very seriously, for he will be the next Olo'Eyktan when it is his time to come.

Tomak is a lot like his father, Boku. He tolerates the humans and the RDA until the Omatikaya's Hometree is destroyed by them. When he learns that Iniri will be promised to Neteyam to join the Omatikaya and their clan together, he is very resentful but keeps quiet about it. At least to his father and mother. He isn't quiet about it towards Neteyam, and the two of them often get into arguments or even mild skirmishes. He also dislikes the fact that he is kept from the battle for the Tree of Souls to have to protect the too young and the too old who cannot fight. He does protect those who can't and keeps them safe deep in the forest.

While she agrees that they must fight and drive away the RDA from also destroying their Hometree, it makes her sad that they must go to such measures upon their world. To join the Omatikaya Clan and their own clan, she is promised to Neteyam, the eldest son of Jake Sully and Neytiri. She is very attracted to him but isn't sure she is ready to become a Mated pair with Neteyam. During the battle of the Tree of Souls, she and Neteyam sneak off from her brother to help fight, despite being forbidden not to, and help take down many RDA members and their helicopters with their Banshees.

Having seen the fate of the Omatikaya Clan, it greatly saddens Muay'a. She has mixed feelings about their clans being joined together by their father promising Iniri and Neteyam together. She is a free spirit and adventurous child. She knows all the songs by heart and is very skilled at playing instruments. She often enjoys playing instruments to the animals or off at a quiet spot where she can feel Eywa. She has even made friends with an Ikran that wants to Bond with her, but she isn't at the proper age yet and tries to convince her parents that she is ready for her own Ikran.
