Gambler and Rambler
Hi there you can call me Blue, I live in CT timezone but I'm usually on late at night or early in the mornings. I write in third person, past tense, paragraph format, anywhere from 1-14 paragraphs and as you could guess I'm searching for a partner! Anyways, I've got a few concepts rattling round and I'd love to find someone to play them out with me! I'm sort of looking for a more casual 1-3 paragraph partner as I'm getting burnt out on writing books for replies. I write anything from high fantasy to dystopian as long as it's not slice of life!
I want a partner who's down with some of the darker themes of life and can be mature about some violence and cursing though I'd also like for them to be up for the angst and fluff of a nice little romance as I usually like to incorporate that in plot. I want to do M// and maybe some F// pairings on the side, I like to double but it's not a must as long as we can add in side characters. I'd also like someone who can play a wide range of characters and add some nice little variety instead of normal blonde hair, blue eyes etc.
Anyways, here are some concepts I'd like to work with!
A world in which monsters/human hybrids are kept as exotic pets for the rich and famous. A big debate over morality of keeping these human intelligent creatures is a hot button topic as some believe they shouldn't be kept while others disagree. A rich kid basically is gifted one of these monsters as a sort of bodyguard but as time goes on a bit of a forbidden relationship takes place.
A high fantasy world with strange creatures and an even stranger forest is the setting of this story. Venturing into the Great Wood is dangerous as the deeper you go, the stranger it gets. Snowstorms in the middle of summer, pitch black forests with bioluminescent growth, and that's just the beginning. At the center of the forest though lies your hearts greatest desire as the magic there is strong bough to grant anything if you wish it but first you have to get there and the prize tempts more then one curious adventurer every year. Though most turn back before a week in. An adventurer strikes up a deal with one of the creatures of the forest after a run in, in hopes to get to the center.
In this world, vampires dominate. Their stronger, faster, and more evolved then their human counterparts and practically run the world. Humans are nothing more then pets and playthings that are thrown out when they lose their usefulness. This relationship has been going on for so long that vampires have bred new sub species of humans for their purposes, Quenchers and Pretties. Quenchers are humans who over produce blood and are the blood bags of vampires while Pretties are the stunningly, beautiful humans that are kept as pets and playthings. The vampires in this world can go out in the sun and such things but can't turn humans into vampires since you must be biologically born a vampire. Vamps also age but extremely slowly.
Best friends who known each other since they were little live in a small town in extremely abusive homes that are abusive in different ways. One day something happens to one of them that makes them snap and basically run away together. In order to survive they crash at house parties and start a bit of a crime wave, stealing cars and shoplifting and maybe even escalating to holding up a gas station. They have feelings towards each other but it's all messy and confusing and their just trying to get by.
In ancient Greece, a demigod prince is about to ascend the throne but the wicked king has other plans. He hires an assassin who has a personal grudge against the princes god parent in hopes to install his own son on the throne as he despises the demigod who is a product of an affair between the queen and a god. Things become complicated though as the assassin falls for the prince and the prince for him. What happens when the plot is uncovered?
Another ancient Greece one! This one takes place of the battle of Troy but with a twist! The Greeks storm the gates to find a hellscape crafted by the gods themselves. The city of Troy has been turned into a maze of monsters and traps with Helen at the center. Two Greek Princes/Princesses/Royalty of opposing kingdoms end up saving each others lives in the battle they weren't ready for. Though they don't know till the dust has settled and helmets come off that their actually sworn enemies. One has lost a good amount of men and as a good will of zenia ends up being hosted at the others camp where they find that their actually not so bad and grow close. The battles just begun though and they still have to recuse Helen.
