Outdated Prefix Guides

Atom

Suffers from Selective Memory
So I was cruising through the discussion forums when I noticed the prefix guides seem out of date.

I noticed personal discussion didn't have every prefix listed, as well as still having the old sandbox prefix mentioned.

Entertainment looked fine.

But then Role-play discussion only described system. I personally have no idea what falls under meta in that forum.

Perhaps in the future if you guys get the chance it might be a good idea to update them? Just a thought.

Thanks for noticing this, Atom!

It's on my list of many "to-do"s and hopefully, I'll be getting around to it soon. (: Keen eye and good catch!

So, I think I got them all properly updated today. If I missed one and you notice it, please let me know and I'll spruce it up. (:

Oops!

That was one I missed. I'll catch it tonight.

The definition of meta is: (of a creative work) referring to itself or to the conventions of its genre; self-referential.. So, from my understanding, it's commentary on the conventions/how roleplay works (mechanically or in theory) by roleplayers

Honestly? I'll need to clarify with D Wiz and Hespy if that's correct, but that is what I believe it means.

So for example giyaras thread about D&D alignments in RPs fits well based on that?

I haven't actually read the thread, but yes. While it is talking about one system in particular (DnD), it is looking at the mechanics of using DnD's alignments in non DnD games more broadly. If the thread would have been all about DnD alignments only, and not how they fit into other games, it would have been better suited for the prefix System.
