Hello! I'm Glitch, but go by Snow or Derek as well. I'm a furry, dork, and lover of anything to do with space and technology!


Recently, my usual forum got shut down. By "usual forum" I mean the only forum I've roleplayed on ever. The site was small, but well knit and I knew pretty much everyone there. Had great online friends, etc. However, it went into a decline and, eventually, shut down.


I've been roleplaying for around three years now, and even though I'm out of my element, I figured I'd at least try to keep roleplaying, instead of just giving it completely.


I'm going through a rough patch with my family as well, and I'd really appreciate being able to make friends and roleplay here ^^ I'm always willing to chat.
 
Welcome to RPNation! I think you'll find that everyone here is very friendly. The staff is always willing to answer questions and there are even a few members (like myself) who are more than willing to go around and say hi or answer questions.


We have interest checks within each genre of rp, and that's usually a pretty good way to find things to get involved in pretty quickly. It's also a good place to advertise for your own roleplays if you are interested in starting one up yourself.

Unlike the Pirate code, they aren't more like suggestions but rules that we take a bit seriously. If, however, you've got a few pieces of eight you'd like to swing our way, we're always more than happy to take it. (I said, the rules weren't suggestions, never said we weren't piratey mate).

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum


They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.


If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.
