Alright. I'm going to go out into the scary world and run some errands. Tonight might be D&D night, but some of our group might not be feeling up for it so we might not be playing. It's uncertain currently.

Whenever I describe souls, either with Sion or with Milo, I base that on how they themselves describe their characters, important parts of their story and facets of their soul. One of them doesn't know their place in the world, overthrew an illuminati-style shadow government, and is apparently a clone, and the other is infected with madness that you visually described as a huge waterfall made out of blood inside her soul. That is going to be a bad vibe, my guy. That doesn't mean anything about their personalities though. Sion's not supposed to be a quote unquote bad guy, but his wavelength is supposed to be a big bad vibe.

I can say based off Tavares background he's going to *want* to learn more about the trio. He's never had any real experience with Madness, he's learned what it is and what it can do from his grandfather's mouth but never actually got to experience it despite it being something his grandfather always wanted to implement in their early training for Deck members. Madness or not, he's gonna be gunning to talk to all three once their team gets back. At least make his presence known before Team 2 heads out

Also, update on plans and things:

After we take out the paintball turrets with both teams assembled, Professor Ezrah is going to be breaking people up into teams consisting of two meisters per team for a total of four teams. These teams will be sent out on small soul collecting missions for Lord Death. These missions are going to link into the main plot.

I'm willing to take input on how these four teams ought to be structured if anyone has any thoughts.

I don't really have a preference because all characters (and their players) here seem like they'd be a joy to rp with, so, once again, I'll have to leave the decision to Death =P

Just out of a personal bias I'd like Sion and Noelle + Vox and Lucien, I think it could be a load of fun,

I just realized one thing that does limit a few options. Either Tavares and Milo or Sion and Noelle need to pair with Yuan and the twins because a healing wavelength is helpful against madness which the twins have. I'm not as concerned about Edgar's madness because Japanime seems to be playing it quite differently, which I am perfectly ok with.

That would be the wise move. Though part of the reason Yuan reacted thus is that her own soul reacted defensively to the 'source of infection' by showing her a possible future and she lost herself a bit in that. She didn't even technically touch the waterfall yet and probably won't react like that again unless they resonate (maybe )

The last three times I've created discord severs for rps, there have been people who weren't interested in joining the discord server and therefore were excluded from much OOC stuff. Then, soon after, they ghosted and the rps died because of too many people ghosting at once.

I am not prepared to go through that again.

Understandable. I'm fine with both methods of communication, but I've also seen the ensuing drama that can be formed on a instant messaging server. Discord also tends to be fast paced which isn't for everyone.

So, I've been thinking about soul spaces.

Adelle's soul space is a massive cave that seems fairly empty, but when someone comes in and brings the light of their own soul, they can see drawings on the walls - caveman style - of all her ancestors with details of each one going back to the first weapons. Deeper into the cave, they see images of Adelle's own personal history and aspirations.

Luka's soul space is a very fun place to play. You all know those sensory rooms with like the towers of bubbles, glowing things, water beds, ball pits and the like...? That's what Luka's soul space is.

I imagine Callah's being very colorful and having a lot of different things to see. It'll reflect back on a lot of things she really enjoyed seeing when she was a child before she lost her sight or even things she wanted to see.

I can't help but picture for Tavares that his Soul Space has something of a dichotomy to it. All of it has one common theme in relation to nature which just goes back to his Earth Shaman roots but I definitely can't help but think his Soul Space has something of a solitude to it; something that goes back to his paranoia. I'll probably have a better description/image when the time comes tho
