I wouldn't mind a collab. I work 7AM to 7PM for the next two days. I posted turn wise fairly recently in the IC, so I was mostly just waiting for a bit more to occur. A collab with Aiden would workaround this, but Cole did just drop a fair bit of dialogue that kinda post locks him until it's acknowledged.

I fuckin' love Sion

We've never actually discussed of the sniper shots could bounce. They're absurdly fast, like faster than actual bullets as they have no mass and are comprised entirely of a wavelength, and we can even augment them with an ability I'm sure Sion is gonna love, but I don't know about ricocheting.

I suppose that would be more of an inquiry for our beloved GM.

If the bullets could ricochet, that would definitely add another layer to the whole tracking ability...

I'm going to say that bullets comprised of soul wavelength cannot ricochet. The reason why I allowed Edgar's to accomplish it without making a fuss was/is because it was a rock which theoretically could ricochet. Because soul wavelength bullets are pure energy, though, it wouldn't work.

I am partial to having Yuan/Grace/Erica with Tavares/Milo as well, but then I am at a loss for who to put with Dai/Yuri. 'Tis a pickle.

I'd forgotten to respond to this, but I don't think Dai/Yuri is as tricky as you'd think. Regardless of personality and attitude, Dai is perfectly capable of cooperation given the situation. Listened to Edgar. Listened to Adelle. Stopped fighting at Luka's/class insistence. He also has a strong sense of loyalty which may curb his wilder tendencies if he's paired with someone he can like/respect - but I'm sure Yuri will keep a firm hold on him so there shouldn't be too many problems regardless of which team he ends up in^^ I'd focus more on team/combat balance and character/story development rather than personality when dividing the groups for the mission(s). Lucien is a little tricky as well given his in-ability to filter his mouth, but he also hates failing and has high expectations of himself (and others) so he's capable of controlling himself depending on the situation. Strong personality aside, he isn't entirely one dimensional and neither is Dai. Even if there are little personality clashes here and there, it's a great learn experience for characters to learn to get along with one another regardless of differences.

All and all, I wouldn't think to hard about it and go with your gut. If all else fails, just roll a dice =P

Oh yeah, Nobody Special I've been trying to figure out a plausible reason why Sion, despite his basically utility meister status, still hasn't ever done a full resonation with anyone and struggles to keep his abilities from affecting others, and I finally came to a fairly good answer. He's subconsciously super afraid of letting his soul show, not only because the soul space sucks :^) but because he can hear his own sound and it isn't pleasant. So, bringing it up w you first because it's a very Sion-oriented and edgy/emotional point, would you like to explore it sometime?

I can see it happening if the wavelength has a bouncy quality to it...

(Hisoka's nen is the first thing that comes to mind when I think bouncy/gummy energy^^)

...and if you can make wavelength into thread/weapons I wouldn't think it impossible to create a soul technique utilizing such a concept (though even soul sutures requires incredibly precise wavelength control such that it can only be done with the assistance of a demon weapon)...but neither Cole or Callah have such a wavelength quality so I don't imagine it to be a very easy thing to do (without a lotta effort anyway). Also, due to the fact that a bouncy wavelength bullet would require a level of solidity to it, it wouldn't be as fast as a pure energy wavelength bullet - not exactly a fan of composite bullets that defy logic/realism too much. Course, that's just my opinion on the topic of a wavelength's nature =P

I'm also a rule abider, so if the GM doesn't think it plausible for the setting, it shouldn't be.
