Rules for the OOC

  1. Be kind to each other! Respect each other's opinions and feelings.
  2. Related to the above, try to keep sarcasm to a minimum, it's not always obvious over text and it's easy to hurt someone's feelings if you're not careful.
  3. Do not advertise other roleplays in the OOC without asking me first.
  4. Put really big images inside spoiler tags.
  5. Just, like, don't do anything super stupid.
  6. I mean it.
 
HELP I HAVE A PROBLEM.


I am gone next week through October 8th or 9th; we're taking the boys to Disney World. My access will be limited, obviously, but then I will return to my very dependable posting/role-play schedule thereafter. Unless work miraculously gives me more vacation days or something which they haven't done in 10 years.

@Syrenrei You're fine. My buddy is running a simulation for me so that we can get a more accurate idea of what the environment will be like in the roleplay, and that's going to take around three days to finish processing. Then, I give myself another three days to make necessary revisions to the setting. Let's assume that it takes about four days for me to slog through all the character sheets, and approve at least five of them.


At best, the RP will only just be starting by the time you get back, in which case you won't have missed much at all.
 
My main concern is when will the character sheets be put up and how long from that date until they will become due? I expect a lot of competition >.<
 
  • The first round of character sheets would likely be due the 7th
  • You'd be exempt from this deadline because you informed me that you had IRL reasons for not being able to make it
  • I have my ways of eliminating competition.
 
This is great news! I will endeavor to set aside a little time at night to get on my laptop and churn out a character sheet regardless, I just realize this might take more time than I'll necessarily easily find. I would really like to find a RP for a widow character concept I've been trying to home and I think this might be a good fit.
 
do i revive the second rp character i ever made or do i make one thats actually decent hm

So in the character manual, you mentioned "spellsinging" and now all I can think about is a dubstep spell singer. Just a guy going "Wub Wub Wub"
 
The discord chat is looking quite lively, we had a good conversation yesterday about musical theory. 
 
That the programming language for the technology of the Magi is based on intervals, I believe.

Anyways, sometime tonight I'll try and add actual information to the world manual. It's going to be divided into two parts - things your character will know, and things they won't know. Anything they won't know - the lost knowledge - will be in a spoiler tag.
