Here's the thing (and this is definitely my fault for not knowing and I am terribly sorry for not telling you guys sooner):


Although in your character sheet you know your character's powers, limits, weaknesses, and abilities, your characters do not know specifically how to control their powers. They know they have powers, but they're confused as to why they have such powers and confused as to how they control and use their abilities. So, their powers are right now uncontrollable and out of their hands. 


I'm not calling you guys out, PLEASE DON'T THINK THAT! IT WAS BAD ON MY PART FOR NOT KNOWING D;.


But, I'm sorry for making you guys change some of your histories regarding the usage of your powers.


Your characters can know of their powers but not know how to control it. Your powers will start having signs around the age of 18/19.


The letter to the University is to help our characters understand the usage of their powers, how to control it, and why they have their abilities.

i feel you on that, however, I hope that you can get in at least a little up even if it's a WIP (the basic info and appearance). I'll be talking to Starfish to see what her plans are in regards to those who aren't finish by the deadline. And there's no problem with an extension however just having at least something up will help (:

Hi everyone!  So, I was @ByTheChesapeake, but I lost my account information (whoops!).  I'm a psychology major, so that's always fun!


I play Persephone, the goddess of Spring and queen of the underworld.  I'm working on her character sheet now, but I can tell you she's a female named Lola.  She's from England.  She's naive, optimistic, and a hopeless romantic.   Also if you die, she's totally got your back.


I want to pick up another character (Achilles? Zeus? Thanatos?), but I'm going to finish up Percy before I decide.


@TheOnlyPaul I see Elliot is from England as well.  They could have known each other?  Maybe went to the same school?  Lola is two years younger and she wasn't all that popular in school, so who knows?


@crucialstar Lola and Maggie might met while Lola's family was on holiday, maybe?  It could happen.


I'm really looking forward to this rp!  I just have a feeling it's going to be great!

None of them know anything about reincarnations or anything like that. They know that they are people and that weird things happen to them. 
 
The best part about a character who's family traveled around the world, he could have met anyone's character :P  Especially since he'd also continued traveling even after he'd left his parents.

Even better. Given the fact that Comic Book Mythos is part of his background, I'll make it so that he thinks he's a superhero! He will think that the school is a school for super heroes like the X-Men. The truth will come as quite a shock to him I would imagine.

Vic and Eli are going to be superhero bros, tbh.
 
He's even going to show up to school in his outfit and be confused. "Why are you all revealing your secret identities?" 
 
Perfect.  I mean, really it was Eli's friend that was all about him superhero-ing.  But if he saw some guy in a superhero costume, he'd immediately strike up a conversation with him.
 
I switched up Vic's backstory a bit to make it a lot less over the top, more "I'm a friggin freak!" than "Have no fear! Justice from my fist of...uh...fistness will serve up some....uh...justice. Man I need a better catchphrase." "He just had the suit made because he thinks the school is like the X-Men. I mean who else would send him a letter with his greatest desire?
 
That's  a very dark character, but I like dark characters. Victor might not like her poking around in his mind though, too many daemons. Still, he's always ready for a night of drinking to dull the pain and once he controls it, he'll drown her sorrows in a sea of wine. Not the best solution, but Vic's not just about pretty faces. He loves all girls equally, everyone needs to share him.  ^_^

I fixed it there! Again...I'd live a connection with another character ifrom anyone wants! :)
 
Is anyone up for some role-playing soon? I'd love to maybe start it that are characters meet at a cafe maybe seeing the other reading the acceptance letter and they get talking. It doesn't have to be canon just to play around with :)
 
I wouldn't mind.. Especially with Orson and Claire since they both can enter dreams and i'm curious to see how things would go, plus building relationships with other characters helps me work on my character.
