Sally continued to float aimlessy in the pool whilst reading her book and drinking her smoothie. She wondered if Rex would find her soon or if he had a rubbish day at work and would end up getting drunk again.

Rex looked outside as he slowly enjoy his drink, he saw Sally enjoying the pool and decided to join her. He took of his blazer and rolled up his shirt sleeves before taking his drink and stepping outside to the pool area. He took a moment just enjoying his wife presence and took a sip of his drink before speaking up.


"Enjoying yourself?"He asked simply.

"Of course, darling" Sally turned her head to look at her husband whilst smiling and sipped more of her smoothie. "How was work?"

Andreabstarted sweeping stiffly and remaining silent. She would bear her pain in silence and not speak a word to anyone nor show any emotions. No one in the family really knew why she had come to work for them at seventeen, no one but Tommy. He had immediately been kind to her and she had been able to trust him with her life. She told him everything. Just him suddenly turning on her like that was just too much.

He pointed at his drink as if it was enough of answer. Normally he would only have only half a glass of whiskey but on stressful days he would fill his glass. Currently it was three quarters full.


"Lay offs day. Had to deal with disgruntled ex employees all day."He explained further." I hope the home front is better?"

"It's..... been a bit eventful." Sally could tell that Rex had an awful day because of his glass and knew that he needed to relax. She drank more of her smoothie.

Andrea started washing dishes and kept a straight face. She didn't care anymore. She had trusted too many people and in the end they had all turned on her. Her brother, her mother, her father, her old boyfriend, old school friends, and then Tommy. She was done trusting.

"Oh...Ok...." He said sighing to himself as he knew what was about come. He closed his eyes taking a deep breath and a sip of his drink before saying:"Ok. Lets hear it. What happened? Who was involved and how much is it going to cost me?"


Jason had spend the time changing to a spare pair of clothes he kept in his shed before deciding to check on Andrea. He saw her washing dishes and approached her.


"You are a stubborn one. I dont see many people who go what you do and keep working like this."

Tommy ran over to the door and immediately dropped his food on the brand new carpet floors. He almost hollered when he saw the sight of Ashley lying there on the floor, bleeding. "Ken! We've got to get Ashley to a hospital, NOW!!!". Tommy went to pick her up, but could only hold her for so long.

"Andrea was assaulted by some piece of *** and Tommy has ran away but he seems to be safe." Sally sighed and rested the book on her stomach. "Andrea's upset about it and i'm hoping she will recover from her ordeal and from what has happened with tommy."

Rex remained silent for a moment as if trying to gauge whether sally was serious or not. He expected some sort of shenanigan from kids and stuff but nothing on this level."I see... I saw Andrea working inside...Please tell me you offered her paid leave." He said in barely maintained calm holding pack what he really wanted to say regarding Tommy disappearance, wanting to deal with one thing at a time.

"I told her that she could take all the time she needed and i would make sure you would pay her." Sally sat up afterwards.

"Ok...Good, we should be sure she takes it."He said before his mood darkening."Now, what is this about Tommy running away and why are you just laying in the pool at such news?"

"He ran away a few hours ago because he got a girl pregrant and i think he feels that we would not support him." Sally drank the rest of her smoothie. "You know that i like to relax after my workouts and i will be trying to meet him tomorrow after the shoot."

Rex found a beach chair and sat down, sighing as he rubbed his eyes.


"We would not support him..."He repeated meekly, the words were hurtful more than he expected. "We had talked about the pregnancy before i though i made it clear that it was fine...Were did i go wrong with that kid?"

"Tommy please get me to the hospital," Ashley gasped out her whole body aching. She was limp and nearly lifeless in tommys hands. She felt like she was going to die.

Tommy was very scared as he didn't know what exactly to do. Tommy picked up Ashley without Ken's help. He took her to the elevator while Ken followed and luckily, they got downstairs in a few minutes. "How bad does it hurt, Ash?"

"Tommy I'm going to die," she croaked out the world thumping like her heart beat she knew she want going to take her last breath but she knew she needed to get to hospital. "Ken call an ambulance," she screamed her contractions getting bigger by the second.

"Ashley, your not going yo die. The local hospital is just down the street. So hold on, okay?". Tommy ran, with Ashley on his arms, down the street towards the local medical center. All of the doctors ran towards him and grabbed Ashley. They told Tommy to go sit down and just wait. He didn't know what would happen.

Ashley screamed for tommy she wanted him and quick "Please just let me have this motherf***king baby" she screamed at the doctor blood still flowing "I will sue you," she said hysterically she needed to have this kid and fast.

"A woman bleeding from her vaginal area is not normal for a pregnant woman...", said the Doctor. He continued to analyze the scene that stood in front of him. He made a discovery. "Miss Ryan.... I am afraid that... you only had a period!". The doctors in the room laughed. The Head Doctor chuckled," Okay, what really happened was, you had pre-birth contraptions and period cramps all at the same time, which is very rare for pregnant women to go through. So tell ya what... you'll spend the night here, well give you some meds for the pain, and well have you up and going like New tomorrow. Sound good?". The doctor looked at his watch. "Oh I'm sorry, but I have to go a meeting now. Good night." The doctor smiled then walked out. One or two of the nurses stayed behind to clean up.

Ashley looked up at the doctor with disgust "I don't care what you and your slutty nurses say," I am having this baby it you like it or not. She said knowing that the doctor had got something wrong she had, had her period before and it had never felt like this she knew what he didn't. This is how my mother gave birth to she said to the doctor before lying back down.

"Miss Ryan... does your mother happen to be... Helen Ryan?". The doctor ignored the harsh remarks made by Ashley, as he knew that it was only the pregnancy hormones talking.

"Yes, unfortunately she is," Ashley said clenching her fists as the pain got to much Ashley shouted "let me have this piece of shite,". She clenched onto the handles of the hospital bed and started pushing screaming and shouting it was a gruesome process and disgusting but she had to do it.
