Sally pulled into the driveway of the mansion after spending the past few hours at the local gym and stank of sweat. She turned of her engine and got out of the car before locking it. "I'm home!" She called out to the entire mansion as she walked towards the kitchen to make herself an iced apple and mango smoothie by using the blender.

Tommy looked over at his Mom. "Hi, Mommy!". He ran over to her to kiss her cheek and hug her. "Ew... how long did you work out today?". He tried his best to make it seem like today was a normal day, but he knew that it really wasn't.

"Hello ma'am." Andrea said softly. She bowed and winced. She stood back up and whimpered softly.

"Tommy!" Sally said with glee in her tone as he gave her a kiss on the cheek before hugging her. "Three hours. I did some boxing and my trainer says i'm getting better." She told her son as she grabbed some bananas from a cupboard. "After that, i did some weight lifting. Nothing heavy as i would have snapped like a twig then did some cardio on the treadmill. Afterwards, i went for a jog on the track and played some basketball." She informed her son as she retrieved some mangos from the fridge. She got out a kitchen knife and cut the mangos in half. "How was yours, sweetie?" She asked Tommy with a loving smile whilst peeling the bananas. She knew she stank of sweat but she viewed it as a very productive day. She was in her gym outfit, which just consisted of black tracksuit pants with a white line down the side and a red tanktop along with black fingerless gloves. She wasn't wearing her usual makeup due to her knowing it would be ruined by her sweat.

Andrea went back outside and started sweeping again stiffly. She whimpered a bit and tried to contain her pain.

Jason stopped his machinery for a moment to give his brain a moment of ease. He took a canteen from his belt and drank some of the water inside. He paused after hearing some sound of sweeping nearby and looked around seeing Andrea nearby. He walked up to her.


"Hey, i thought i heard sweeping. For a moment i thought my alcohol consumption was getting to..."He stopped mid sentence seeing Andrea's current state. It was heart wrenching site for him."What happened to you?"

She shook her head. "I'm alright. How are you? I take it you went out drinking last night?" she said softly, smiling weakly, wincing. She continued sweeping. She cried out when she tripped over a chair and cried silently.

"Yeah like i am not the only one who got smashed here. "He commented sarcastically though with great concerned for her. He kneeled next to her checking her wounds from the fall."Look i haven't been here long but i haven't seen you this sad or beat up. Your not this clumsy either. Out with it, whats up?"

She shook her head. "I fell down the stairs this morning ok?" she lied. She stood. "I'm alright. Forget about it." She whimpered.

"Uh-huh. Did you hit each stair with your pretty face?"He asked sarcastically.

She blushed and said "Just forget about it." Her phone rang. "No…not this early…" she whispered and picked up. It was him. "I have to go." She limped out the door, wincing.

"If you say so."He was unconvinced but didn't push her pretending to give up. Once she was, what he believed was, a sufficent distance he followed her to see if she would lead her to her problem.

The man, Joseph stepped out from behind a tree. He grinned evilly.


"Please…not today…" Andrea begged him but received a punch in the face that broke her nose and blood spurted out of it. He pinched her ribs and heard a satisfying crack. She cried out and he hit her over the head and she fell to the ground where he started kicking her.

Jason couldn't believe his eyes at the sights of his childhood friend beatings Andrea. He didn't doodle though dialing emergency and calling both police and ambulance to the area. They would take a while to come so Jason had to interfere and hold Joseph there though he didn't like his prospect in a fight. Jason wasn't much when it came to fight and Joseph knew it.


"Enough Joe."He finally said stepping out of his hiding place putting the hardest look he could muster. He approached the two."Your were an ass at times but i never thought you were this low."
