History: Coming from a long line of fisherman, Martin took no issue in following the family tradition. He enjoyed being out at sea, alone. It was some quiet time to himself, away from friends and family. To think, to reflect. He did his job well, taking what he needed, never disrespecting the sea...for it was oh so very fickle. But then, something happened...

One by one, commercial fishing boats had gone missing. Some of those vessels charted by his friends. When authorities looked into it, they said their investigations turned up nothing and so he had gone to look himself...the sea did not take kindly to him that day, nor did the winding tempest of winds hurting through the sky.

Something had rammed into his boat, one he'd own for decades, now lying in splinters. Everything faded to black as he found himself half conscious on the shore, covered in blood. By the time he awoke, everything was in ruin in terms of his business. He was advised to rest but he couldn't. He hadn't found anything concrete but...whatever he had a run in with had to do with the disappearance of his friends and family members.

But in the following days, after his own venture, the sea had gone quiet...but he had not. He had begun to look into similar phenomena. And he found something promising....in Hong Kong. Not telling his family the exact reason, he had let them know he'd wanted to relocate for a change of pace. Maybe a change of work too. He had to find out what had awaited him...
