TheRoleplayingDovah

RP Nation's only Elder roleplaying Dovah
Two girls are washed overboard and end up on a desert island. Little did they know that they would begin a relationship but what kind and would they survive?

The summer had just started and that meant the tourist season had started. The cruisliner Paradise had left the port a few days ago and was slowly making it's way towards the south islands. The weather was warm and there were no clouds in sight. The ocean was calm and there were sounds of families enjoying themselves. Old friends chatting and hoilday makers generally enjoying their time.

Beth had just finished putting on her uniform and was putting the finishing touches to her makeup in her cabin. Her uniform consisted of a short blue skirt and a long sleeved white blouse under a red vest. Her shoes were black heels. She looked at the mirror in her small cabin and smiled at herself. She sometimes wished that the staff had bigger cabins but knew that passenger comfort was more important then staff comfort. "Show time!" She got up and pinned the badge on her chest before leaving her cabin. She walked down the white corridor and made her way towards the breakfast buffet to assist with the morning's breakfast rush.

Luella never been on a cruise before they always sounded luxury on commercials but in person they looked beautiful. Boarding the cruise just days ago seemed long ago as she didn't find anything to do for the couple of days as she had gotten sea sick. "Luella lets go get breakfast, get up!" Her best friend said while throwing a pillow her at her then got up. The two got ready and rushed down to breakfast where a lot of people were grabbing their plates and getting food. Luella stepped in line waiting to get a plate and dish up some food, her friend kept staring at a woman from across the room. "What are you doing?" She giggled elbowing her, picking up her plate she thought on it for a moment of what she was going to get. While moving through the line she saw one of the attendant who was helping with the breakfast rush. "Hi!" She smiled sweetly.

Beth spent 20 minutes serving other passengars whilst being polite before it was time for Luella and her friend to be served. "Good morning." She put some hot bacon onto a silver plate which was on the table. The table was covered in a white cloth and the entire cafeteria had a tropical theme to it. There were many small tables and there were many people sat at them. The walls were a lovely shade of green and blue with various tropical fruits in nets hanging from the top of them. "How are the both of you?" She was smiling at them and had been too busy to notice that the woman's friend had been staring at her from across the room 20 minutes ago.

"I'm doing alright, still sleepy?" She smiled sweetly taking the bacon she put on the plate. "Thank you! So do you get to enjoy the cruise or is it always work work work?" Luella wasn't flirting in any way she just wanted to make small talk because even though her best friend was her best friend it would be nice to speak to someone else for a change. "Well see you around" She kept on moving in the line not wanting to hold it up by chatting. Luella definitely hoped the woman would come and find her so they could talk again; glancing back she smiled one last time before taking a seat with her friend and eating her melon she put on her plate. "This cruise is amazing! Were definitely going swimming after we eat, okay?!" Her friend excitedly said while chewing on a pancake in her mouth. She nodded then looked around the huge room of people enjoying their breakfast.

"I'm awake and it varies on the cruise. Sometimes, it's work all the way through whilst other times, it's work then days off then work depending on the need of the ship." Beth smiled whilst dishing up some fresh pancakes on another silver plate. "Have a wonderful day." She continued to serve the line and it would keep her busy for at least another hour. She enjoyed chatting with people despite there being a few that would try to hit on her or harrass her and it showed. She was only working for the morning today due to her having the afternoon off as a result of her working for 8 days straight and was due to have the next 3 days off to give her enough rest.

Finishing her breakfast she went to put her dish away and walked out going back to her room where she decided to shower and get into something more comfortable since the weather seemed to be taking a turn for the worse. She noticed the clouds rolling in earlier but didn't think nothing as it wasn't to bad then but on her way back to the room she noticed the clouds blackens more then usually meaning a storm could vary well be on its way. As she stepped out of the shower and put on different clothing she took her book with her and knap sack just in-case she needed something to calm her nerves or she had a minor seizure. Calling out to her friend who had met a woman in the hallway who was some type of escort she giggled letting her know she was going out. Even if she didn't notice while under the sheets with her new friend. Closing the door she put her key around her neck walking up to the third level of the cruise and found a seat where she could read in peace and look out to the water. Rain began to pour as she smiled; rain smell was her favorite smell of all and it soothed her.

Beth continued to serve the breakfast rush and helped to pack everything away afterwards. It was 11am by the time she was finished and went to the 3rd level. It was just below the 4th level of the large ship. The ship was split into 5 levels. The 5th was the bridge and the 4th was the deck. The rest were split into sublevels. She walked along it and noticed a familiar face with a woman in a tight dress walk past her. She smiled at them both as she walked past them. She smelt the rain as it poured it down and saw the black clouds forming off in the distance but it didn't phase her. She knew the captain would ensure that the safety of the ship was not at risk. She saw the other women from earlier and smiled at her whilst walking past her.

"Hey!" Luella called out to Beth who she had seen earlier. "You got a minute?" She asked smiling at her. She was having a great time so far but was worried about what the weather would bring. She stood placing her book in her chair walking over to her. "Did the captain say anything about bad weather?" She asked concerned, she seen clouds form like this before but it was beginning to be way to dark and foggy for her liking. "I mean its looking like there is going to be a huge storm coming are way"

"Hi and i certaintly do." Beth smiled at the woman from earlier and watched her walk over to her. "No but i think the worst thing we'll get is just rain and the captain hasn't told us if we're adjusting our course of not. He takes safety of everyone seriously and we would shut down the top deck to avoid people being washed overboard." She looked at the storm in the distance. "I think that's heading towards land so we'll miss it." She looked back at the woman and gave her a smile in an attempt to reassure her. The storm was picking up in the distance and it seemed like that they would miss it but little did they know that today, their lives would be changed forever.

Luella nodded smiling looking at her then looked back at the weather. "Alright that is more reassuring" She let the woman be on her way as she made her way back to her seat where she packed up her book and headed back to her room where her best friend was missing in action. "She is never in one spot" She said to herself shaking her head, she got up on her bed to take a much needed nap as she wanted to wait on her friend before she do any other events. Hours went by as she was thrown from her bed; the cruise ship must of hit something or she was dreaming one of those things had to have happen for her to now end up on the floor. Standing up she rubbed her head opening the door to the room where water started pouring in. "What is going on?" She said in a frantic as she walked people with life jackets on screaming down the hallways.

Beth walked down the third deck and half an hour later, she finished her shift. She went to her cabin and got changed out of her uniform. She put on a thin white shirt on and a light blue pair of pants. She put on a pair of sandals but was thrown onto her bed. "What the!?" The alarm started to go off and she knew something bad had happened. She ran out of her room and saw water pouring in. "Oh no." She assisted the rest of the crew with getting people into life boats and felt the ship get hit. She was thrown against the wall and groaned. The captain made an annoucment for everyone to get to the lifeboats. She saw the woman from earlier and grabbed her arm. "Something's happening but everyone is getting to the lifeboats. The quickest way to get there is via the top deck and everyone is heading there." She guided the woman through the wave of people that were screaming and managed to convince a few people to follow her. 10 minutes later, the small group arrived on the top deck.

The storm had hit the ship and it was throwing it from side to side. The pool was flooding and the deck was slippery. It was hard to stand and some of the crew fell overboard whilst lowering the lifeboats. "Keep together!" She ordered before seeing a rogue wave heading towards her and the group. It was bigger then the ship and within seconds, it had knocked it over. Beth fell overboard and was greeted by the cold harsh waters of the sea.

Luella noticed Beth the woman from the deck she let her take her by the wrist leading her and a small group of people to the lifeboats which were on the top deck. 'How could they get to the top deck with a bunch of people crowded around?' She thought to herself but they managed none the less, getting up the last step her eyes were widen with horror as she saw the giant rouge wave coming for them, it was bigger then anything she seen before and knew her life was over; or so she thought. As the wave hit the ship she didn't know what hit her but knew that she was being swallowed by the sea. Under water she fought the current and 3 minutes later after everything seemed quiet and calm she came up for air. "Oh my god!" Tears streaked her face as she looked around for her friend in the water, not seeing her she assumed she was dead.

Swimming while others were frantically crying and screaming she looked for Beth but just as she put her hand in the air another rouge wave hit and she was submerged under the waters again, this time her body went limp from the cold. Feeling as if she was being accepted to heaven she opened her eyes coughing up water, the sun beamed down on her face as she squinted her eyes. "Huh?" She laid in the sand for a minute before pushing herself up, standing she felt a bit wobbly but found her balance. "What is this?" She walked up on the beach finding her knap sack she had on her before the ship wreck, leaning down she picked it up looking through her bag.

Beth felt the cold waters embrace her and immediately saw a wave come crashing down on top of her. She was forced under the water for 30 seconds and gasped for air as she popped up on the surface. She saw the woman from and attempted to swim to her but the sea was too strong and she was tossed around like a ragdoll. She knew that everyone had to get out of the water as soon as possible but in this storm, no-one would be able to help them and sadly, the life boats were no match for the sea. She struggled to keep her head above the water despite her being a strong swimmer and was forced under by another wave.

She came back up only to be hit by another wave and attempted to swim to her. She saw a big wave heading towards her and spotted the woman being thrown through the air and into the sea. She was unable to swim back up despite kicking as hard as she could and slowly saw the dark water fade from her view.

She felt something dry touching her back and recongised it. It was sand! She slowly opened her eyes as she coughed up some water and sat up. She saw the woman looking through a bag. She felt sore all over. "How? Just how?" She recalled drowning but yet, she was alive. She coughed up more water and looked around. There was a forrest behind them and palm trees littered the beach. There were rocks jutting out of the water.
