"I'll succeed no matter where I go,"
There was a point where confidence became arrogance, and Hiromi was certain that Toshiro had blazed past it at 100 miles an hour. He seemed to have more confidence than sense. Being recommended wasn't a huge indicator of success, judging by Sunao's attitude since he arrived. Before she had a chance to give any meaningful reply, the teacher was seperating them, into his own group of volunteers. Se wanted to come up with some final killer comment, but couldn't think of anything in the moment, and let it slide. Hiromi was sure he'll butt in to another conversation sooner or later.
For now, she made her way next to the rest of the class, noting that the teacher had also singled out Flora to join the volunteer group. Seemed a little unfair, was everyione just dropping the class? Maybe they knew something she didn't, or equally frustratingly, they just weren't that bothered about it. That fact made Hiromi clench her teeth in discontent. This was a big deal to her and probably a lot of people that didn't make the cut, and there was people here practically throwing away the opportunity that had been offered to them. She took a few deep breaths to calm down. Toshiro was obviously under her skin more than she expected. Focus on the task she thought. What can I learn to prepare here?
The villain wasn't moving, and the task issued was just to get to the teacher. Toshiro's friend (Zella?) was moving up to go first, though she seemed more focused on the villain than making her way to the man. Was that the point of the exercise, to fight the villain? Or was it a red herring? The girl sighed in frustration, speaking up at Yakta's own concerns.
"Yeah, but then why but the villain there? He has to serve a purpose," She pointed out, more and more stressed by the endless questions and no explanation. Isn't this a school?!
