Ouch :( Lost An Hour of Work

I spent about an hour (maybe two) putting together a new thread. While I was writing it, my session timed out and I didn't know. I tried to post the thread and got a notification, "You are trying access a page you don't have permissions for" or something like that. I could not recover my work by signing in and going back to the thread submission page.


I know now that I should copy my content to the clipboard before trying to post. It is annoying though

Nevermind: I went back to the same child board and clicked on "Start New Topic" at which point my unposted thread was retrieved. I've never seen that before but it was kinda cool.


Resolved.

There is a saved draft function to help with these types of situations.  While not 100% effective, it's awesome when it saves hard work on post. :3
