Personality: Otto Von Deiter is mature, wise, and austere. He often gives wise advice to his companions and always shows great patience for their over the top attitudes. his old unit considers him kind of a father figure, a situation proved by his occasional scolding for some of his companions' attitudes, Otto proves to be considerably offended by this association as it makes him look older than he actually is.
Although he may look gruff and sometimes has rude attitudes, Otto is basically a good and thoughtful man who has a great affection for his own companions and thinks of them the same way of a family. Otto proves to be very apprehensive, proud, and capable of great fidelity. For some of his attitudes he could be considered a control freak, but it is not intentional

History: Otto was a ships mechanic for the local whaling company. often one to enjoy a good fight and a dark ale Otto when to the local watering hole after his boat returned from 2 months at sea fighting the cantankerous diesel engines of Brunhilde 3 the biggest boat in the fleet after two engine fires he was well ready to vent some steam and have a good time. As the night wore on. He began talking to another gentleman by the name of Adrian Ahlborne , which began to turn more into an argument as they continued. What they were arguing about they don't remember. but before the night was over, the last thing the two remembered was exchanging blows.
When morning rolled around, Otto came to realization that he was in deep shit, but foggy as to why. Staring at the man in his cell from the night before they tried to pice the together the events of last night. Apparently in their drunk state. Both Men incited a large Bar fight and the police were called. Upon which the two of them then proceeded to assault the police, severely injuring a few, and killing one. Faced with a Long list of charges. the two were given an Ultimatum. Enlist, or life in prison.
Thrown into An Obligative Service Company. Or more commonly know as a Convict company, which allowed Criminals up to life in prison to earn a full pardon. Otto or the company as a whole received meager pay, and mediocre training with antiquated equipment. But with freedom on the line Otto took it in stride. When Vaasa declared war on the Kingdom of Age. Otto was Determined and optimistic . So when the 32nd OSC Nicknamed "Mandels Maniacs" after the commanding officer 1st LT Eric Mandel, were sent to the front line. Otto along with most of the Company, if not all, vowed to march into the Agen Palace themselves and raise the flag personally, then go home to their families as free men.
As the 32nd won impossible battle after impossible battle. "Mandels Maniacs" fame started to grow as unconventional, unpredictable, and filled with the craziest, most insane "criminals" Vaasa could unleash upon, which included but not limited to Murderers, Rapist, Gangers, Etc. Which was of course not true, All those criminals were sent to Death Companies and most have been wiped out by the time of the battle of Vitry. But, deciding to roll with it, they used it to their advantage to intimidate the Agen Defenders. But as all "great" things rise, they Eventually must fall. During the later days of the battle of Rouben, The Kingdom of Age sent an armored column around to strike at the vital supply lines that fed the Vaasan War machine. Vaasan Intelligence, oblivious to the unit. Sent the 32nd to investigate reports of enemy movement in the small town of Vel 60km east of Rouben. when they arrived, The 32nd walked right into an entire Armored regiment hellbent on getting through. for four days, the company was able to hold the Agen forces in the town as the Vaasan 3rd Armored Corp was able to redirect its forces and rout the enemy. hearing about this battle of impossible odds, Vaasan High command decided to give full Pardons to the surviving members of "Mandels Maniacs" and disbanded to company while also awarding the seven survivors the Vaasan Cross of Distinction and redesignated the 32nd OSC and the 17th Assault Battery.
It was then that he met his new Platoon. A bunch of unruly kids from the country of Dover. But he was going to do everythign he could to keep these kids alive and with good squad leaders like Adrian he knew he had right people to get it done.
Extra: shotgun "Helga". Shortly after receving his promotion to the rank sergeant Johan traded a bottle of 80 year old brandy to a supply officer and has kept it by his side eversince
OSC 32-B-050 with a red Iron cross ending it tattooed to the left side of his neck. The letter and numbers indicated that He was a criminal soldier was to be shot if found away from his Unit.
The red cross signifies that all charges against him have been abolished and he is a free man.
