"Ah, well, I guess we're on opposing teams," Lugh said to Noah. "So, uh, see you in the court."
He stepped away from his seat and hurried over to his volleyball court, stopping briefly to pick up a yellow jersey. He removed his jacket and placed it to the side, replacing it with the mesh shirt. Lugh had played volleyball before, though not often. It wasn't a sport he was particularly good at, though there weren't really any of those. In school, which were the only times he'd played before, he'd been average in terms of physical capabilities.
Lugh loitered next to his assigned court, waiting for his teammates to come up. Isroh and Cordelia, huh? Neither were names he was familiar with, but that was the same with most of the names he'd heard being called out. The only name he recognized from the other team was Noah. The blond boy didn't appear to be very athletic, so hopefully (though he felt guilty thinking it) Lugh would have an easier time.
There was one of the players from the other team on the court, a tall, angry looking boy who seemed to practically radiate displeasure. He also looked far more athletic than Lugh was, and that did not bode well. Regardless, he'd just have to play as well as he could and, with any luck, not get hit in the face.
