Mr. Valdez was making his way around the dorms, ensuring each student was participating in the event. He would knock on the doors, open them up and look insdie for anyone who might still be behind. Tell them that to hurry up, they wouldn't wanna miss the event! He was excited to do this. One might think it a dumb activity...But Mr. Valdez was indeed the sneaky, sleazy man Luxu thought of him.
A meeting from earlier that day played out in Mr. Valdez's mind as he walked through the halls.
A small smile formed on his face while he walked through the halls. He stopped short of just one dorm room. Knocking softly at James's door. "Excuse me? Anyone in here? It's the Principal! I just want to make sure you know the volleyball tournament will be soon, please come on down! Or, if you're not feeling well or very up to it. I hope you join us in next week's activity." He spoke softly through the door, hoping someone would answer.

That noise....That noise, noise, noise, noise, noise! God damned it all would they shut that damn noise up?! Before Luxu would come over there and shove that stupid little trumpet down their god damned throat and he'll force them inside their stupid case then throw it in a river. Luxu enjoyed music no doubt, but he wouldn't blast it so that everyone could hear it a mile away. How infuriating and...and..?
A teacher brought a young man to Luxu's table, shattering any enjoyment of his alone time in general. The thick scent of alcohol made Luxu's nose twitch in annoyance. "No." Luxu said flatly, staring down Isroh with eyes of iron and fire.
Luxu would have to continue the conversation, wouldn't he...
"I suppose a welcome is in order, and a hello as well. My name is Luxu. And yours is?" His prominent scowl in full display, his tone alluding to annoyance. But that was normal for Luxu, his tone ranged from annoyed, furious, and enraged.
A meeting from earlier that day played out in Mr. Valdez's mind as he walked through the halls.
"Why would you make these students participate in an activity such as this? Don't you think it would just be easier for all of us if we let them just..do as they please?" One of the staff spoke, a portly man.
Mr. Valdez smiled, nodding. "Ah, yes..It would be easier to let them do what they want, how they want it, and whenever they feel like it. Although, please..Take another look at the official documents for the letter. It states, that we are tasked to ensure the children grow up strong, and ready to take on the world that they've been unable to see until today. Let me make it known, that no matter what I will ensure these kids grow."
Mr. Valdez stood up, adjusting his tie..And with a stern look of seriousness, he looked at his body of staff. "These kids will be together for 4 years in total, they will have to deal with people they don't like. Or people they can't stand or understand. They will have to learn and live amongst people they are afraid of or they love. But that is life. What I'm planning on teaching these students is much more difficult, the principle of camraderie. In this world we live in today we forget that people are out there that will look at us in odd ways, or hate us for something we can't specifically control. These kids will be different, they will learn to work with people they don't know, understand, or are afraid of. They will learn to love those who think themselves unloveable and they will care for one another. These kids yearn for something in this world that they think is so bleak. Let's give them something. Something they can mold in their own image in this world."
Silence, a few short nods. A few hums of interest... To take an active interest in the betterment of the lives of their students, could Osiria Academy truly become something more than just an Academy? That was the question that lingered in the Staff room that morning.
