Mr. Valdez was making his way around the dorms, ensuring each student was participating in the event. He would knock on the doors, open them up and look insdie for anyone who might still be behind. Tell them that to hurry up, they wouldn't wanna miss the event! He was excited to do this. One might think it a dumb activity...But Mr. Valdez was indeed the sneaky, sleazy man Luxu thought of him.
A meeting from earlier that day played out in Mr. Valdez's mind as he walked through the halls.

"Why would you make these students participate in an activity such as this? Don't you think it would just be easier for all of us if we let them just..do as they please?" One of the staff spoke, a portly man.

Mr. Valdez smiled, nodding. "Ah, yes..It would be easier to let them do what they want, how they want it, and whenever they feel like it. Although, please..Take another look at the official documents for the letter. It states, that we are tasked to ensure the children grow up strong, and ready to take on the world that they've been unable to see until today. Let me make it known, that no matter what I will ensure these kids grow."

Mr. Valdez stood up, adjusting his tie..And with a stern look of seriousness, he looked at his body of staff. "These kids will be together for 4 years in total, they will have to deal with people they don't like. Or people they can't stand or understand. They will have to learn and live amongst people they are afraid of or they love. But that is life. What I'm planning on teaching these students is much more difficult, the principle of camraderie. In this world we live in today we forget that people are out there that will look at us in odd ways, or hate us for something we can't specifically control. These kids will be different, they will learn to work with people they don't know, understand, or are afraid of. They will learn to love those who think themselves unloveable and they will care for one another. These kids yearn for something in this world that they think is so bleak. Let's give them something. Something they can mold in their own image in this world."

Silence, a few short nods. A few hums of interest... To take an active interest in the betterment of the lives of their students, could Osiria Academy truly become something more than just an Academy? That was the question that lingered in the Staff room that morning.

A small smile formed on his face while he walked through the halls. He stopped short of just one dorm room. Knocking softly at James's door. "Excuse me? Anyone in here? It's the Principal! I just want to make sure you know the volleyball tournament will be soon, please come on down! Or, if you're not feeling well or very up to it. I hope you join us in next week's activity." He spoke softly through the door, hoping someone would answer.

That noise....That noise, noise, noise, noise, noise! God damned it all would they shut that damn noise up?! Before Luxu would come over there and shove that stupid little trumpet down their god damned throat and he'll force them inside their stupid case then throw it in a river. Luxu enjoyed music no doubt, but he wouldn't blast it so that everyone could hear it a mile away. How infuriating and...and..?
A teacher brought a young man to Luxu's table, shattering any enjoyment of his alone time in general. The thick scent of alcohol made Luxu's nose twitch in annoyance. "No." Luxu said flatly, staring down Isroh with eyes of iron and fire.
Luxu would have to continue the conversation, wouldn't he...
"I suppose a welcome is in order, and a hello as well. My name is Luxu. And yours is?" His prominent scowl in full display, his tone alluding to annoyance. But that was normal for Luxu, his tone ranged from annoyed, furious, and enraged.

“Oh, sorry for your loss. There’s also the I can’t give you any cause you might die thing too. Ehhh sucks.” She took another swig , forcing herself to not finish before the party even started. Although she wasn’t sure of getting dizzy during a volleyball thing.

“Oh but , you didn’t answer my other question about your power? You must have something cool if you didn’t answer.” She giggled like a child , “You should try it on me! I wanna give it a try! Please??”. Ace liked exploring other people’s powers , it gave her a chance to learn something new and maybe use it in the future. Of course there’s also that excited feeling of curiousity. She also liked to see where she placed in the strong scale , like who’s stronger and who’s weaker. Then she would work up from there.

“I swear you have nothing to be worried about I literally cannot die . I’m.....perfect really. Eh except for being short.” She pouted, shrugging afterwards.

Edith flinched when the dragon mentioned that word. 'Scared'. She had no idea what that word meant. This dragon was saying terms she had never heard of. Yet in the end she was right. Her mother had painted Mortals as these creatures only capable of destruction and atrocity after atrocity. But the dragons words would not sway her belief. "Your words hold experience t-to them. I-i wish to take y-your word as fact b-but a mortal must prove they are as y-you say. Unt-til that point they are still worth my o-own f-fear. And m-my mothers ill view of t-them. Y-you cannot change our views just like that on words a-alone." She was starting to gain some composure to the whole situation. And was calming down but yet her voice faltered on occasion. She could only imagine the disappointment her mother felt at the mention she was afraid. Edith knew she had more then enough power in comparison to a human. After all she was half celestial, of course she was more powerful. But she couldn't even transform properly without a massive explosion. But that might be the reason that she was sent here in the first place.

Seeing that Fuka had the situation under control and needed no assistance, Lugh hurried away from the scene of the accident, accompanied by Noah, and searched for the closest teacher. Fortunately, they didn't have to search for long, and they'd only wandered the hallways for a few minutes before coming upon one. They explained what had happened to him and left quickly. They were going to be late at this rate.

Lugh groaned miserably, already feeling the hunger gnaw at his stomach. There was just no time to grab something to eat beforehand. The two boys joined the flow of students heading out of the building and into the courtyard. The courtyard was massive, fitting numerous volleyball courts. The courts were ringed by bleachers, their capacity appearing to be so large they could probably fit the entire student body, though that wasn't all too large to begin with.

Students ambled along, forming a large crowd that Lugh and Noah had to push through to reach the bleachers. The two boys took a seat on one of the large structures, awaiting further instructions.

James Sanderson

James slowly ran a hand down the fabric of his blazer, admiring the color and feeling of the new article of clothing, untouched by the world. His very own. His eyebrows tugged together slightly. No... he was just borrowing it. Yet even so... it was already heavy with meaning.
As the boy turned and tried to figure out how he might wear such a thing, he heard a soft knock at the door, and a slightly muffled voice. James whipped around in shock so quickly the he stumbled into the bathroom door with a quiet thud and yelp.

He pushed himself out of the bathroom and started walking towards his own room—the one closest to the door—while shakily trying to undo the red tie around his neck. He felt as if he was caught wearing the school's nice clothes, he might get in trouble. No one had given him permission yet. It was wrong of him to do, and he did it anyway.
"urg-, yes... ah, sir. Of cour-, ngh... yes sir!" James grimaced as he tripped over his words, trying to calm himself down. If his heat spiked it might ruin the blazer.
In his panicked thoughts, the young man found himself standing in front of the closed door, about five feet away. It was at that point that he realized there was no way he could get changed in time if the president decided to come in—although he couldn't imagine why—and he still found himself debating whether or not to open the door.

Sighing when it was brought up again, Fuka decided to just bite the bullet and tell her. Fidgetting nervously with her hands she kept looking dead ahead. "It's... not really that cool. Honestly I don't like it but we can't change what we are, huh?" Okay so bad start. Time to try again "And anyway I don't think you'd really appreciate me using it on you, since it won't be fun or interesting" she trailed off.

Come on Fuka! You're gonna have to start telling people soon anyway. She thought, sighing again. "I'm, um, a... nightmare but well, I look human now? It's a long story." She took a deep breath and got the smile back on her face, though it did still look a little strained "I can make people feel afraid and then feed on that fear to get stronger..." it was really difficult for her to say but she did it anyway, anxiously waiting for Ace' response.

Shiyam Rosa
Shiyam shrugged her shoulders, her eyes closing to half mass.
"If you continue on the path your on, you'll find nothing worth being here. Words mean only wind to you and, as such, actions speak more volume than words. See with your own eyes what others can do instead of listening to whatever advice your mother gave you. Horrible things happen to people but its up to the person to either look past the horror or take it and let it fester to hatred....You depend too much what your mother says and not your own thoughts and actions. You more likened as an extension of your mother instead of who you are. I will ask, who are you?"
She said turning her head towards the girl, her emerald green eyes glittering like a vast green forest, but the girl would only see part of her eyes, as they were still half mass.

Ace’s eyes lit up, “Woah! Pretty powerful. It’s like one of those dark lord things.” She chuckled, sighing a bit.

What did fear feel like again? She didn’t mean the fear of losing her phone , or drinking the wrong poison, she meant true fear.

“Fear huh? Haven’t felt that in centuries...its been a while since fear really struck me. I guess it’s because I’m so powerful.” Ace shrugged , laughing at her own jokes. It was true though , she proved to herself that nothing can kill her, not even fear. As the years past , her fear was soon replaced by insanity. It was almost scary how Ace didnt care if she was hurt anymore , she just wanted entertainment because that’s how bored she is. What would even happen if Fuka were to strike her? Would she cry? Or lash out? At this point she didn’t know anymore. Maybe that’s why Fuka was so nervous about telling her. It’s dangerous?

“You should try on me next time haha!” Completely ignoring her thoughts , she blurted out a suggestion. She thought it would be pretty fun to feel fear again.

“Oh but do it later , I kinda wanna see this volleyball thing first!”

"I am Edith and I- I" She stopped as she realized that was all she knew. "I can't think of much else. I am Edith daughter of Ptel. But... that is all. Why am I here? Has Mother truly had that much of an effect on me." And for a few seconds she could not say anything. Stuck in her head now trying to think of who she was. "Who am I? Was all she could say at the time. "I'm sorry I can't answer much outside of my own name. I am Edith, daughter of Ptel. A celestial that lives in the Astral sea in the skull of what was once a titan. That is all I can tell you, I am sorry if I cannot provide anything else." She said as she briskly walked away, trying to avoid eye contact at this point. Now stressed at the fact she only knew her name and who her mother was. And not a single thing outside of that.

Shiyam Rosa
Shiyam only looked on with her half mass eyes as Edith walked away. It was good she had shaken the girl to begin trying to see who she is, as a person, as the girl is the only one able to find herself. After all, a journey begins with a single step. With that complete in her mind, her eyes opened to their normal way and looked around. She spotted someone with horns with alcohol and raised an eyebrow, watching the scene from where she was. She couldn't hear what was going on, too much noise going on and the music was quite terrible in her mind. She sighed, her ind made up of walking over and introducing herself. She was really getting out of her element with what she was doing doing things outside her personality. She wasn't one to walk up to someone and start conversation, she was the type to hang back and view the situation before jumping in and helping out. And she was one of few words as well, why the hell was she going off and trying to be so uncharacteristic of herself. She then winced at her thoughts. She wanted to grow and learn, much like Edith, but she knew who she was, she just had to find a place to call her own after she was done here. Her mind was made up, she was heading over to the horned person and talk with them, or just talk with whoever their talking to.
As she got closer, her ears were picking up the sounds of the music more and it was irritating to them. Too loud, noisy, and not her brand of listening. She lifted her right hand and raked it through her brown hair, she was getting irritable. She was getting massively out of her element with this, but she had to get this done. Once she was close enough, she cleared her throat a bit to get their attention.
"Sorry for interrupting and butting into your conversation. I'm Shiyam."
She said, mentally screaming at herself for being so direct.

Chouko Qalli
Chouko walked to the school in a modified japanese kimono, built for travel and all sorts of weather, while Ryuujin walked beside her, decked out in his usual heavy garments of many layers of silk and dragon scale mesh. His hair was done in its usual ribbon bun, all hair gathered into a bun and tied off with a ribbon and magic ensures it doesn't come undone, while Chouko's hair was done in a style of ancient china, one Ryuujin felt matched her for the day. Her shoes were fancy modified ballerinas (a type of slip on shoe for women) with a small heel to them. Ryuujin....She looked at everything they passed with an almost unnerving calm eye, and tilted her head a tad to the left as they heard the announcement of volleyball.
"Chouko?"
"Yes, Ryuujin?"
"I do ask why we had to come here. I could've taught what you needed to know at home."
"While it would've been good to learn from you, it would've been damaging for me in the end."
"It wouldn't have damaged you. You would've learned from the very...."
"Ryuujin, I will not be swayed from my decision. I need to be around others around my own age and learn..."
"You still could've gone to the other school."
"The fancy shit hole for summoners? They would've damaged my mental state than try to teach me anything, and they would've tried to exhaust the funds we have."
"They wouldn't have be able to. My finances wouldn't have been dented with how much they would've charged you and they would've been scolded by the...."
"Still this place allows everyone from all walks of life. And, we'll get treated with more respect than at that summoner school, along with not having to fight for our lives as well."
"How very wise of you to think that, Chouko. I do not wish to be unsummoned until I met my death and even then, I'm hard to kill."
"That you are...Ah, here we are. Dorm and our home for the next 4 years. Shall we go in and get prepared?"
"Yes."

Chouko and Ryuujin went into the dorm and, with a snap of his fingers, Chouko's side of the dorm was redone to fit Ryuujin's style. He stood in the room with a blank stare, and Chouko knew he was going to be there for awhile trying to find which was best for him and her, before digging into her bag and pulling out her notebook. She pulled out a pencil and left the room to get someplace to draw something. Drawing was something to pass the time, and she wasn't bound to play volleyball. She sat at a table not far from the horned man and other person with a woman approaching them. Hm.....That's something to draw now. She thought before setting her notebook down and began taking notes, more for how they would be positioned in the picture than actual personality. For the woman, she had a couple notes while the other two were with more notes. The horned man was being a bit flirty and pushing a bit much with personal space (with how she was seeing it) while the other man was becoming a bit angered at the invasion of personal space. She began to draw, drifting off into her own world, Ryuujin appeared from a portal he created and sat down next to her, looking at everything blandly, but took looks at the drawing she was doing.

Ace's reply was surprising for Fuka, who had built up the fear of divulging what she really was to the point of developing a phobia, and she blankly walked with her in shock for a moment as she listened to her. Being told that she should use it on her later shocked her the most but she did consider it, her whole reason for being here was to gain more control over her ability so it would help for her to actually use it.

"Yeah, I'm hoping to join in!" She said, smiling again "I'm not too great at it but with everyone so on edge and anxious today I'm feeling kind of overpowered". They arrived at the courtyard to see the torches and the smell of cooking food reached her nose. She could survive without eating but a good tasting meal was never something she would turn down. "Ugh! I wanna grab something to eat but I still wanna put my name down for some classes! Ace, would you mind grabbing me something? I'm okay with any kind of food!" She said, taking off running but this time being careful with her speed and walking when she entered the building.

She was sure to quickly find the classrooms from before and scribble her name down before heading back to where the festivities where kicking off. She looked around to find Ace and ran over, curious to see if the girl had gotten her anything "hey, sorry if I took a while!" She felt more comfortable now, knowing that her companion wasn't bothered even after finding out what she was.

Ace sniffed the air like a dog once she reached to the courtyard. She wasn’t the type to hog food or to eat properly , but with good food like this , she wouldn’t mind taking more than just a plateful. What got her most excited was the different spices that she smelled. She loved the burn of spicy foods. Not a kink or anything.

“Oh yea, Sure!” She raced to the table of food , jumping over other people’s tables and knocking over chairs. Too distracted by the food , she quickly grabbed two plates and started snatching food. Ace wasn’t too sure about what’s Fuka liked , so she grabbed a bit a everything. Before Fuka got to her , she had gotten distracted and broke off the top of one of her torches.
Ace had seen people eat fire, but what did it actually taste like? Before she could take a bite , Fuka has arrived.

“Hey sorry if I took a while.” Fuka has returned! She blew off the fire from the torch. Maybe later.

“Your good. Oh here,” She handed out the plate of food. She grabbed the peppers from her plate and tossed it, catching them in her mouth. So much happening on the first day! She had found a friend, and had made people feel uncomfortable by her recklessness! Wasn’t too sure about the second one though. Well again , she was already used to people reacting like that.

Ace took the bottle of poison from her pocket and took another swig. Something to get her through a eventful day.

“I wonder if we can participate in volleyball. It looks fun, but uh...I don’t know how to play it. Or the rules. Well I don’t really need the rules. Do you know anything?”
Ace looked at the volleyball area , trying to figure it out. She didn’t really play sports during her years , instead she did something more dangerous than just hitting balls around. But this school will turn it all around! She just hopes it isn’t TOO boring. Hopefully there isn’t a class where she just sits for a hour , writing notes or however a school runs.

Isroh gives shrug as Luxu turned down good liqor. Oh well, more for Isroh. He knocks back another swig.

The sudden niceness was a bit jarring... especially when it looked like Luxu was about to cringe so hard he worried his teeth might break... or wear down to nubs. Although seemed more friends were warming up to him. Maybe this would satisfy Tyrian in terms of 'friends'. He glanced back to see if Tyrian was watching... to which he was not. He was paying attention to his dog instead.

Dammit. What good was this is Tyrian didn't even see it!?

I'm Isroh, I drink, watch movies and know things. Accurate description of Isroh right there. Although he wasn't exactly a drunk.

You guys want to try volleyball? I suck at it and may even pop the ball but I kind of want to smack it around a bit. He mainly just wanted to hit the ball really really hard.

Seeing the plate of food that Ace had gotten for her Fuka did a little jump on the spot "Thank you! It smells so good!" She said, noticing the torch head she put down but deciding not to comment on it.

At the comment about the volleyball Fuka tilted her head a little "well, there's likely to be other kids who haven't played the game before, right? So they'll have to give an explanation of the rules before we start!" She nodded at her own reasoning and smiled as sje glanced at the courts that had been set up. "Do you think we'll be choosing our own teams or will we be paired up with new people?" She wondered out loud as she looked around at the different groups forming around the courtyard.

"Maybe we should invite some others over to talk as well, just in case?" She asked and pointed over to Edith, she could see that she was worried even without her abilities and couldn't fight the temptation to call out to her. "Come on!" She said as she walked over.

"Hey there, have you tried the food yet? It's all great!" She said when she reached her.

When no answer came from the person off to the side of the bleachers, Cordelia sighed. Pointless, she thought to herself with a sigh, No matter. I'm sure there is at least someone around here that I can talk to. Golden orbs glanced down at Khione, who by now had finished eating every piece of chicken on her plate, to see how she was doing. A small smile formed on the witch's face as she looked down at her familiar, "Have you had your fill?" The question was answered with a pleased purr as the Gryphowl licked her paw before drawing it over her ear. Cordelia watched her familiar and couldn't help but to chuckle at how cute her little friend was. Though her chuckles ceased as Khione stopped a quarter of the way into her self grooming to paw at the witch's bottle of water. "Thristy?" Unscrewing the cap Cordelia held her hand out a bit, palm facing the sky, just as her magic circle formed. The water in the bottle started climbing upwards to the cap before spilling out.

Small orbs of water hung suspended in the air once they escaped their confinement.
"Alright Khione, have as many as you need," Cordelia told her pet softly as the Gryphowl gave a screech of joy. Soon enough she started gobbling up all the small water orbs as a means to drinking them. This being the easiest way she is able to drink without getting her feathers all wet. Once she had consumed about a quarter of the bottle's contents, in orb form, Khione yawned. A signal to Cordelia to let her know that the small creature had had enough. The remaining orbs gathered together into one moderately sized water ball before growing thin and returning back to which they had came.

"Alright Khione, let's go take another walk. Shall we?" Khione's screech sounded a bit like a chirp this time as she stretched out her body and wings. While the creature did that Cordelia put the cap back on her bottle, stood up and stretched a bit herself after having sat for a while. Turning her attention down to Khione the witch motioned, with a slight jerk of her head, to the Gryphowl to come along. Giving her wings one last stretch Khione crouched down, not even a second later she pounced. Landing on Cordelia's shoulder with ease given she at least gave them a flap before folding them against her body. With that Cordelia made her way down the bleachers, Khione on her shoulder, and began wandering around the little party once more.

There were a lot of different creatures here now that she was moving around. Some of them even looked human for the most part, or almost completely human.
"I didn't think there would be so many different types of people at this school," Cordelia whispered softly to her familiar who was looking around at all there was to see. Eventually she found herself at the punch table. Getting a cup for herself Cordelia took a sip out of it as she took a moment to watch all the other students mingle from a distance.

OK that is really tough given my mom never gave me anything in terms of interacting with mortals. And I broke rule #1 that she gave me! Ugggggh!" Maybe she could just blend in and everything would be alright. Just had to keep to herself and

Ace nodded , agreeing to find other people. More friends , enemies...she didn’t really care as long as it was fun.

She observes the girl as she tries to cross through the large crowd, trying not to hit anyone. Ace almost laughed at how hard she was trying to cross. It reminded her of her past self, when she wasn’t as tough and perfect like now.
“I already know what type of person this is by just looking at her cross the crowd. Wow.” She thought while waiting for the girl.

“Well you should! This ain’t no 99 cent food around here!” She shouted back with a grin. It was true though , she had heard that regular schools served horrible food, but Osiria completely canceled that rumor.
Realizing that she still had her plate in her hand , she decided to pour her poison onto a part of her food. Something to really spice up the food.
“Nom.” She ate a small piece , tossing it into her mouth.

Fuka watched her while she tried to get away and held in a laugh, not wanting to upset the girl more, and held out her hand for her to shake. It was a formal gesture but after listening to how her new companion spoke she figured it was best. "I see! I didn't realise people were still showing up. My name's Fuka, it's nice to meet you..." she left an intentional gap in her words to allow Edith the chance to introduce herself.

Gesturing to Ace, she continued introductions "This energetic girl here's Ace, were we just wondering what the volleyball matches were going to be like" she said, bringing her into the conversation with a smile. She could tell that the girl was panicking a little and hoped she could distract her from that. She noticed Ace now pouring her poison on to her food and made a mental note to not let anyone try food from her plate.

Rowan Carter

After cleaning up all the blood in the hallway and nodding goodbye to her new acquaintance, Rowan has returned to the bathrooms to give herself a minute to breath and get composed. She wasn't expecting to be presented with such a challenging situation so soon after her arrival. And on a full moon, no less.
It was quite an interesting decision to hold an event on such a night...but she was sure the school had their reasons. And she knew there there was no way she was going to miss it. She believed that she handled the bloody mess rather well, and it gave her confidence that she wouldn't have a problem with all the excitement.

A few minutes, and quite the inspiring pep talk later, Rowan was strolling out of the main building and and boldly making her way towards the crowds of people. Luckily, many were taking seats upon the bleachers, or starting to slowly venture towards the courts. It took some doing, but the girl managed to get past a few bleachers and groups of people without being held up, and eventually set her eyes on a table that seemed stocked with refreshments.

With a sigh of relief, Rowan downed a small cup of water, and retrieved for herself a cup of punch. As she stepped away from the table to look out at what was going on, a girl with long blonde hair caught her eye. Well, more specifically, the creature that was one the girl's shoulder.
"Uhm, excuse me? You don't happen to know if they are going to start soon, do you?"

Pressing the cup to her lips again Cordelia drank the rest of the punch it held. Once it was gone she set the cup down on the table beside her, a sigh of relief escaping her. The drink was refreshing especially since she hadn't had anything to drink before coming to the school this afternoon. Continuing to watch the crowd from where she stood Cordelia tucked a few strands of her blonde locks behind her ear.

Khione's ears flicked as she heard approaching footsteps, turning her head in the same direction. A type of chirp alerted the witch to look in the same direction as the gryphowl. When Rowan asked her if she knew when the events were going to start soon Cordelia smiled politely, and shook her head, "I'm sorry, but unfortunately I am not sure myself as to when they're going to start." Khione's dark eyes gazed at Rowan for a moment before she tilted her head about ninety degrees to the left, and then the right, examining the girl almost. When the witch noticed what her familiar was doing she chuckled softly, "Don't mind Khione, she's just curious about you. It's a normal thing she does with people she hasn't met yet," Cordelia reassured as she reached up and scratched Khione's cheek gently. The creature's plush tail brushed against Cordelia's back while she purred.

The witch then turned her body a bit to better face Rowan as she stopped scratching her familiar. Instead she extended her hand, for a handshake, and offered the girl in front of her a friendly smile. "My name is Cordelia by the way. It's a pleasure to meet you," her voice was a bit on the softer side as she introduced herself to Rowan. Khione's head was no longer tilted as her gaze was still well fixated on her.

"Oh no it's fine, just going through here. Look I am sorry not used to big crowds!" She shouted trying to get across. Before finally getting through. "Oh gods that was worse then the sorrowsworn and Leeches we had to deal with back at home. I had no idea humans could clump together so seamlessly." She said still panting, looking down at her partially rouged up clothing from all of the people, quickly straightening it out. "But Fuka... and Ace? Odd names, though I am not f-fully aware of the average names for people that reside on this plane. My name is Edith, that is as far as I can tell at the moment. My mother hardly let me know much else."

Though Edith was busy looking these people up and down. Fuka seemed normal, Ace was certainly odd to look at but as she looked she breathed in through her nosed before catching a hideous odor. Coming from both of them as she had to hold back a gag from that smell. "Oh gods! What is that horrendous smell! It smells of rotting bodies and suffering!" Edith complained as she pinched her nose to stop the smell. "If I didn't know any better I would say you two have not properly bathed, or something crawled in my nose and died. And knowing my home the latter may be more likely, and I just got my nose cleaned out!" At the last bit she seemed to cringe at the mention of her nose being cleaned. "Don't let it be another Mephit." She whimpered at the though of an air mephit stuck in her nose again."

Ace grinned wider, almost laughing at herself. The blood from her wounds must of not washed off enough. It WAS a lot of her blood. So she guessed she would have to attend reeking her own blood. Maybe next time she could reek the vodka she drinks instead.

“My bad , that’s just my blood. I stabbed my self earlier so , the blood must of not washed off.” She shrugged it off easily , “I guess I should start using perfume or something.” Ace then stared at Edith. Edith has said her mother didn’t let her know anything else but her name? More strict than the regular parent. That means more secrets untold.

“That’s kinda weird. Does your mom not want you to know anything else? You dangerous or something?” She was getting more and more curious about the case. Edith must be still in her shell if she doesn’t know anything of the real world. Before , she used to manipulate those kinds of people for her own entertainment. She wasn’t sure if she could still do it now though.

Fuka let out a small worried sigh as she listened to and watched Edith. It kind of reminded her of how jumpy she was after bring seperated from her family and suddenly surrounded bu humans and she shook her head with a small laugh. "You'll get used to it! Someday you'll even be able to blend in with them." She said, trying to be encouraging "and Fuka isn't such a strange name, even if the spelling is off" she said in aswer to Edith's comment. Her mother sounded completely overbearing but it wasn't really her business to comment.

Being told that she smelled of rotting bodies and suffering made her face fall a little "you... think?" She asked slowly, Ace seemed to think that was the smell of her blood but she wasn't convinced. Giving herself a quick sniff she confirmed that she couldn't smell anything strange herself. "Your sense of smell must be really strong to pick that up, huh?"

Ace asking if Edith was dangerous snapped her back out of it and she nudged her new friend harder than she meant to in the side, if she had been human she could have done some real damage. "You can't ask someone that! At least not when you first meet them" she said to her before looking back at Edith "sorry, you can just ignore that"

Valdez was quick to get to the Courtyard, finally able to draft up the list for the Tourney. It seemed like an equal amount of students had arrived on scene. teams of 2 split up with three students in each. Grabbing the mic and tapping it for extra attention from all the students around. Valdez cleared his throat.

"Alright students! It's time we get this tournament going! I have the list of all students who are currently on the courtyard at this moment. I've made up a list of teams you all will be participating in! Let's get to it!"

Another face appeared from the woodworks it seemed, a female named Shiyam. Though Luxu was a bit more interested in the one a bit farther out...He could tell that one girl was taking passing glances towards his table, while she did so it seemed like she scribbled something in her notepad... To think that people would be so resigned in their nature to not extend a hello. If it were notes she wanted, what she'd get is a bunch of veins popping from Luxu's forehead in a comical, yet scary manner.
To divert his annoyance elsewhere, he returned to the conversation at hand with his rather eccentric table-mate and the girl that had arrived. "Luxu." He said blandly to Shiyam. "Pleasure to meet you." Though with all the body language, and the tone of voice at hand, that was not the case. "I know how to play, I hope you're willing to get better, because as it seems we're opponents..And I'm not going to go easy on you. I will see you on the battlefield." Luxu stood up, after hearing his name called for red team. He made his way towards one of the Volleyball courts, snatching up a red mesh shirt that you'd usually see in Gym class. Slipping it on, Luxu crossed his arms and waited for his team-mates to hop onto the field with him.
His sunglasses hid the death glare of his scowling face, hoping to have a competent enough team to work with..He'd ill like to rely on teamwork to win a game.
