[Vaila]

Alicia blushed pink. "The bar wasn't set very high," she said softly, feeling his lips against her hand.

He looked at her face, the first real time he did it without fear. He wanted to do this. He hoped she wanted it to. He leaned into her and kissed her quickly, his lips against hers for a few seconds before he pulled away, her hands clenched in his "I'm sorry...I'm a bit rusty"

 

[Vaila]

Alicia looked at him carefully before leaning back in and kissing him slowly. After a few seconds she pulled back and smiled at him gently. "Feel free to use me to practice," she said with a sweet smile. "I really don't mind."

 

[Joeaikman]

He looked at her and blushed "It's been about 500 years since I last kissed a girl...and about 700 since they kissed me back" he took her hands "we are friends"

 

[Vaila]

"That was my first kiss," she said shyly, blushing bright red. "Before I was turned I wasn't really interested in boys.... and after I was so concerned with control.... I guess I never really looked for anyone," she said thoughtfully as she squeezed his hand gently.

 

[Joeaikman]

"Well I'm a lot older than you" he looked down as if the thought troubled him "will your mistress mind you being out here with a boy who has a massive crush on you?"

 

[Vaila]

She looked at him in surprise. "You have a crush on me?" she asked with wide eyes.

 

[Joeaikman]

His eyes fell again "I'm sorry...i shouldn't have said anything" his eyes returned to being their usually dark and brooding look as he looked away from her

 

[Vaila]

"I'll take that as a yes," she said with a bright smile. "So just to clarify.... it's a massive crush right?" she said after a moments silence

 

[Joeaikman]

He looked up at the sky, looked down at the ground, he looked at anything that meant she couldn't see the deep crimson colour of his face as he said it. "Yes, a massive crush"

 

[Vaila]

"Interesting," she said with a smile. "And for the record. She might be my maker and my pack leader, but I'm not her slave. I'm sure she'd be happy that I too have a massive crush," she said, looking up at the stars.

 

[Joeaikman]

"You might not be her slave but you still need her blessing" he looked at her nervously "will she give you it? Will she allow me?"

 

[Vaila]

"We'll have to talk to her," she said simply, frowning a little. "I've never asked her for this before.... but you'll probably have to tell her everything. But you shouldn't worry. She is kind underneath all the old fashionedness and voodoo," she said sighing softly.

 

[Joeaikman]

He looked around, time had passed quicker than he thought "I must go" he stood up and looked around "I will visit your bakery tomorrow, until then my secret love..." He leant down and kissed her again, a bit longer than last time. As he pulled away he whispered into her ear "stay safe" and he ran off, into the woods

 

[Vaila]

Alicia kissed him before falling back onto the grass happily. Soon after she shifted again and ran back to her house. Changing into a pair of pajamas, she shut her back door but didn't lock it. Curling up in her bed, she snuggled in for the night and dreamt of Josef.

Robert woke up early, he liked to get things done when it was still dark. He didn't actually need to sleep, it was just a comforting norm for him. The whole time as he got ready for the day he thought of Isabelle and what he'd say to apologize to her.


"I've forgotten how hard it is to earn a woman's forgiveness!"


He watched the sun rise, put his hat and glasses on, then set out for the town.

Sage currently working the tea shop alone since Isabelle hasn't been here since yesterday after noon, hopes she's okay and bites her lip worriedly as she turns on the open sign for the tea shop.

Isabelle currently in another dimension, sleeping quietly as she recovers from the pollution and from last nights events.

Josef woke up in the middle of the forest, his head filled with an image of Alicia. He blushed at the thought and stood up. He pulled on some clothes that he had hidden in a nearby caves and set off for the bakery where he knew he would find Kiara and Alicia

Robert looked towards the tea shop, but walked into the Bakery when it was open, taking off his hat and sunglasses, enjoying the UV blocking windows. His eyes still hurt a little, but that he could manage. He walked around the store, looking at all of the delicious treats

 

[Vaila]

"Good morning," Kiara said, looking up as Robert entered. "What can I get you today?" she asked, her brown eyes watching him closely as she set todays book down. Angels and Demons by Dan Brown the title read as it's light green cover stood out amongst the smokey grey surface of the counter. She'd gotten up at 4 am this morning to bake all the goods for today, and even though she was used to small amounts of sleep she was feeling a little drained. She was wearing a simple black dress today with long sleeves and her familiar name-tag over her right shoulder, with her hair pulled back in a ponytail.

Alicia was working in the back of the store, baking bread for a large order that a nearby restaurant had placed. It was a regular order of 30 loaves of bread that she usually enjoyed filling but today she was distracted by thoughts of last night. Everything was moving so fast between them but she didn't mind in the slightest. There was just something about him that she found almost addictive.

 

[Joeaikman]

As he approached the bakery he started to tense. Everything around him seemed like a threat. He jumped twice at a raccoon in a dumpster. He stood outside the bakery for a few seconds, pulling his courage up to go in there, to talk to Alicia. Eventually he went inside, seeing Robert and Kiara at the counter.

 

[Vaila]

Kiara smiled as Josef entered. "Hello," she said softly, greeting Josef. "Back again I see," she said as the corner of her lip twitched. When she'd arrived at work this morning she'd been surprised to find Alicia so happy and bouncy when she was usually more reserved.

He looked down "yeah...I...I came for bread" he mumbled "and also...is Alicia here...can I talk to her?" He was biting his lip again, as he always did when he was nervous about something
