Fantasy Original Species

"Can I spend the day with you?" He smiled at her "and then you take me there afterwards. I don't know where to go you see"
 
Alicia smiled and nodded. "As long as you don't expect to sit around here while I work," she said with a laugh. "I have a cupcake order to fill and while the cakes are done, they need decorating.... although maybe it's best if I do them," she said with a soft giggle.
 
"Nice to meet you." Sonny whispered back, grinning a bit. He quieted down to listen in on the conversation of Robert and Isabelle. It seemed that there was a bit of infatuation between the two. 'Well, to each his own. Robert deserves to be happy. And hey, she might not be as bad as you think.' Sonny thought to himself. He was brought out of his pensiveness by a question. Robert had asked if he wanted to go to the movies. "Sure. What do you wanna see? I'm sure me and you can find something we can both enjoy without ripping each others throats out." He laughed at that less than subtle innuendo.

"I can work" he smiled at her "as long as it's with you" he blushed at the sentimentality "I really like you" he but his lip and looked down at his feet again, trying to get the flour off his jeans
 
Alicia grinned and grabbed two stools. Pulling out a tray of cupcakes, she set them in front of him. Grabbing a large bowl of caramel frosting from the fridge she spooned it into a bag. "Alright, I'm going to decorate them. Can you hand them to me?" she asked as she pulled out another sheet of chocolate butterfly wings.
 
"Of course" he sat down next to her and picked up the first one and passed it to her "can I have a kiss when we finish?" He squeezed her hand under the table
 
Alicia nodded and smiled as she sat next to him. Taking it, she squeezed the bag lightly and rotated her wrist, causing it to swirl. She placed two chocolate wings on either side of the top of the cupcake and added small caramel cubes before placing it to one side. "Next one?" she asked, knowing that each took her around 30 seconds to do and she could finish the batch of 50 in no time at all.
 
Passed her the next one, marvelling at how she did such intricate work so quickly "you're very skilled" he smiled at her "maybe I can do one?"
 
Isabelle raises a brow. "You do know it's going to be the four of us right Sonny?" She said while putting a hand on her hip. Sage smiles a bit in amusement. "Sounds like fun, can't wait." She said while sipping her tea. @RedInkKid
 
Robert looked at Sonny. "I promise it wont be to terrible Sonny, a nice dinner, a movie, I dont care what we see as long as its not a horror movie, I hate being scared. Plus what else do you have to do?" He grinned and looked back at Isabelle, "Should be a real good time."
 
"Four of....us?" Sonny asked. The blanks seemed to be filling up, with the blood from his meal of the previous night filling his cheeks. "Oh....a date night. Okay, um....sure. I mean, if Sage wouldn't mind me hogging most of the sweets." He smiled her way. Honestly, he hadn't gone on a date with a girl...ever. Not that they were bad, just not his type. And then Robert mention dinner, which made Sonny choke down a groan. Hopefully he could play the scene out so she didn't get the wrong idea. Sage seemed nice enough, maybe even friend material.
 
Sage looks at him and seems to read him slightly. "Actually I think I'll stay and look after the tea shop. You guys have a good idea." She said as she went into the back. Isabelle blinked and watched her go while raising a brow. "Huh... Weird..."
 
"Sure," she said softly, handing him the bag. "Squeeze it gently and rotate your wrist," she said softly, grabbing an empty bag and filling it.
 
He did just as she said, not wanting to mess up in front of her and ruin her order "is this right?" He held up the cupcake. He had added the toppings and wings just as she had.
 
"So..." Robert looked at Isabelle, "Just the two of us this?" He was caught off guard by Sage's backing out, "I know Sonny would be bored to tears if I just flirted with you all night, AND he'd have to eat human food." Robert smiled a little, hoping Sage backing out wouldn't change Isabelle's mind.
 
Robert smiled, "So.. I'll come get you at.. 8? I'll actually be able to wear decent clothing since the sun will be down." He scratched his jaw, "Any movie you want to see in particular?"
 
Sonny stood up, retrieved his hoodie, and departed without another word. He walked out to his car and started it by way of a button. He hadn't intended on making Sage feel flustered. But, at the same time, a double date usually comes with those kinds of expectations. He didn't want to be the bearer of bad news at the end of the night. Sonny stopped at a local grocery store. Gorging himself on junk wouldn't hurt, even if it didn't help. He also managed to pick up a copy of Pan's Labyrinth from a DVD rack. While he checked out something seemed off about the cashier. Dark, but barely identifiable. After a second of consideration Sonny shrugged it off. He paid for his things, drove out to the Compton estate, got to the guest bedroom and locked the door. The windows were mirrored so that the light wouldn't come in. Thick, dark drapes were in place just in case anything happened. Sonny popped the DVD in the player and opened a carton of ice-cream, shoveling a huge scoop in his mouth and washing it down with a bottle of blood.
 
Isabelle nodded slightly. "Alright Sounds good, And it doesn't matter, any movie will do." she said with a smile as she headed into the back. "See you tonight." she said as she vanished around the corner. Sage thinking slightly while working on some new types of tea, not really upset, just wishes she had seen it before.
 
Robert walked out happy, he hadn't been this happy in a few decades. He went to a local flower shop and looked around. He was debating on showing up with flowers or not, he didn't want to seem too desperate. He bought a Rose on Sage's advice earlier, he figured it wouldn't do any harm appearing with it. Then he left to his house to get ready for the night.
 
Robert drove to the tea shop at 745, and walked inside. "Isabelle?" Robert was nervously twirling the Rose he bought earlier. He was dressed nice, with black slacks and a deep red shirt underneath a black coat.
 
Isabelle stumbles in the backroom. "I-I'm here! Just give me a minute." She said while making her way out of the backroom slowly. Sage smiles a bit and gives thumbs up as she mixes different flavours of tea together, humming.
 
Roberts mouth opened as he looked at Isabelle, "you umm uhhhh you... You look... Flower" he didn't offer the Rose after he said flower, still watching her.
 
Isabelle laughs softly into her hand as she walks over and lightly puts a find her under his chin to close his mouth. "A flower huh? Your too kind. And my favourite... I wonder how you knew that." She said with a smile.
