Fantasy Original Species

"Morning Kiara." Robet smiled slightly, then looked at Joe as he walked in, and nodded, "You wouldn't happen to know what the fairy across the street absolutely loves and wont slap me when I show up to her shop to apologize, would you?" Robert winked and grabbed some cookies again

"She's in the back," Kiara said gently before turning to Robert. "You mean Isabelle," she said with a soft smirk. "I'd take a variety," she said with a soft laugh. "But I hear she is rather partial to the cookies. And chocolate cupcakes are always a positive effort," she said smiling softly. She put together a box of cookies and handed them to him. "Free of charge," she said looking at him carefully. "In the name of apologies and inter-species friendships," she continued as the corner of her lip twitched.

He blushed again, his hat pulled far down over his head to hide his ears, whilst Alicia didn't know what they meant he was sure Kiara would. He moved through into the back room where he had first met her and stood in the doorway, matching her work in awe. The way she did it, like it was the most important thing on the planet, amazed him.

Robert laughed a little, "Thank you Kiara, I appreciate this greatly, I owe you." Robert nodded to Kiara and took the food and headed across the street. He was going over what he would say to Isabelle in his head, but everything sounded wrong. He sighed as he pushed open the door and walked into the tea shop.

Sage currently in the back brewing a pot of time. "Just a minute! I'm in the back!" She called as she moved the tea off the burner before walking into the main room. "Hi what can I... Oh hey Robert." She said while looking at him. "I'm sorry to tell you but Izzie isn't here-" she started as a pop sound was heard and Isabelle was dusting off her clothes. "Sorry I'm late Sage, I had to decide what to wear and- Robert." She said suddenly as she noticed him there. "...what are you doing here?" She asked trying to keep calm.

Robert stood there, "Uh.. I.. Cookies?" He held them up, along with the muffin, "Im here to apologize, for last night. To both of you." He looked at Sage, and then Isabelle, "I was insensative, and I should have been more... tactful." He was turning a light shade of pink, clearly uncomfortable

Isabelle crosses her arms slightly as she watches him through narrowed eyes, not sure whether she sound forgive him or not even though the fact that he had come was endearing.

Sage smiles a bit and takes the muffin. "It's alright... I forgive you, also I did mention this yesterday. Izzie is a fan of Gingersnap cookies." She said while getting a look from Isabelle.

"Oh shoot." He was blushing more, "Im sorry. Tomorrow I'll bring Gingersnap cookies!" He looked at Isabelle, "Or.. if you want, we can go across the street now to get them, and so you dont think its me trapping you into something, you can also talk to Kiara about helping each other businesses out." Robert smiled a little.

Isabelle watching him slightly as she nods a bit. "...fine. Lets go then." She said as she made her out and across the street to Kiara's Bakery. Sage sighed softly and smiled a bit.

Robert hurried along side Isabelle, "Isabelle, Im sorry about last night, Sonny can look like a jerk, but I promise he is a good man, but.. Im sorry, I should have been nicer about your reaction."

Robert thought to himself, "Why do I feel a slap coming on? I hope she doesn't knock my hat off."

Robert frowned a little and looked at Isabelle, "Well, I.. am.. going to go ask Sage for some tea supplies.. You have a good day Isabelle." He turned before the door closed all the wya from them entering, and left again toward the tea shop, he walked in. standing there like an idiot. "Im not even sure what I want, I hate tea normally."

Sage laughs softly as she pours a cup of tea for herself and settles down. "I think it's because you like her... And seriously? You can't say you hate tea while being in a tea store." She said looking a bit offended, but smiling a bit.

Robert smiled and shrugged a little, "Its true.. I dont even know why I came in yesterday, I prefer coffee. But, I came here. Now I regret it a little because Im attracted to a woman who seems to hate me." He looked at Sage, "Did you happen to make a batch today for me to try?"

Sage laughs softly and smiles. "She's just rough around the edges Robert... You just have to either warm them up or wear them down." She said while pouring him a cup. "You don't make regrets, you make decisions that make you realize that some things are worth the fight." She said while looking at him.

The common misconception about vampires was the "fact" that they slept during the day. It was true for the fledlings, in their first few years. But after time, a resilience to the sun's draining effects was developed. This, however, was not the case for a vampire that was created through birth. Their resilience was genetically passed from the parent. Being that Sonny's father was an original, he was never plagued by the need to sleep(though he napped from time to time out of boredom).

After watching Robert get smacked in the face, Sonny retired to his room. He then spent the night painting what little sunlight he'd seen when he was driving along. The obscenely tinted windows couldn't keep out the entire view, and he'd been entranced by the visual. During that time, he took note of Bobby's friends. They seemed rude enough, for he hadn't said much of anything to inflame the judgement of that one particular girl. 'Sae la vie." he muttered, casting an orange hue on the canvas.

The next day, Sonny emerged from his room, just in time to see his host waltz out of the door. Part of him was curious as to where the man was going at that hour--but, for the most part, he just didn't want to be alone. The man quickly dressed and followed. A skull cap and dark hoodie was enough to cover the sunlight from all his vital areas. The time it would take for him to get to the tea shop would only tan his hide a bit.

Sonny got to the shop and waited in the corner, not making any movements to give himself away. The owner was obviously vamp-friendly enough to install windows that kept out the UV rays. Foir that, he was grateful. He stripped off the hoodie, revealing a grey and white quarter tee underneath. "Hey," he called out to his friend and his "companion", "May I drink with you?" he asked as courteous as possible. He recognized the companion from the night before, and was trying his best to be polite about the situation.

Robert looked at Sage, "Are you sure you're not 500 years old? That was some pretty wise advise Sage." He smiled a little and sipped on the tea, "Delicious... You two are amazing at this, I swear." Robert winked. Robert turned when Sonny walked in, "Ah, Sonny. Hello. This is the tea shop I was telling you about yesterday!"

Sage looked at him and flashed him a smile. "Of course. I'm sorry about my friend... She's... Just had a hard past..." She said softly while sighing and running a hand through her hair and got out two more cups, and pouring some tea into them. "It's Lemon and Wild Strawberry Tea today."

"The problem is Sage, I dont even know where to begin, I suppose I could do that cheap romance movie move and come to the shop every day for a cup of team, but I will not hold a boom box over my head to win her affection, I only go so far." Robert grinned, sipping his tea.

Sage laughed almost so hard she snorted. "You won't have to do that. Just start by coming to the tea shop every day with Gingersnap cookies and maybe some flowers... She likes plants." She said while smiling.

"Whats her favorite?" Robert smiled, he was happy Sage was helping him. He was awful with women and was certain that if she wasn't here to give him hints, that he'd never make any ground. "And thank you, for helping me. Im sure its more for her, but I do appreciate it."

Sonny nodded in her direction, picking up his tea. He took a sip, then sat down in a chair nearest the two. "The fact that we can still eat normal food is a wonder, seeing that we can not get any sustenance from it." he pondered, while stirring the cups contents with his pinky. "I do not mean your friend any harm. I'd like to make amends, if she wishes to hear them. I am aware that I may have come off briskly." He looked up with a tint of self resent in his eyes. "It's yet another trait I inherited from that beast." With that, Sonny returned tohe cup to his lips and indulged in a long sip.

Sage smiles a bit and gives a nod to sonny, "I'll see if she will be willing. It is alright Sonny... I see you are a good person on the inside..." She said while stirring her tea a bit and smiles at Robert. "Roses..." She said while lifting her cup to sip. Isabelle walks in as she eats a Gingersnap cookie and blinks when she notices the two vampires. "Oh boy..." Sage shoots her a look.

Sonny noticed the rude woman from the night before from her smell alone. He chose to keep his head down, quietly sipping from the dainty cup. The situation would only become more awkward were he to move or even speak.

"Sorry Isabelle, I wanted to introduce Sonny to your delicious tea. I hope you.. um.. dont mind too much." Robert looked at her and smiled a little, "We can leave if you'd like." He pulled out enough cash to pay for the two of them and set it on the counter.
