Oricenta are a common species of humanoid creatures with cervid (moose, deer, etc.), owl features, and the ability to control the four elements (Air, Earth, Fire, Water). There's a population of about five billion people, and they are powerful and grow more powerful with age, training, and knowledge. With their multiple breeding methods and ability to shape-shift their sexual characteristics there will never be too little of them as more always seem to pop up, but they're also able to easily keep up population control too.
[SIZE=16pt]Physical Description[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]A simple explanation of most Oricenta are that they look like the offspring of a deer, owl and human. This is not the case though, as they are not capable of breeding with humans, but there will be more on that below. It’s also obvious they aren’t naturally from deer and owls, as most have an unnatural color for a deer or owl, such as some having naturally pink fur or green hair.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Starting from the top, they all have feathers for body hair, however; their feathers are unique only to Oricenta and that allows them to have hair that looks similar to normal human hair. Their ears and antlers/tusks vary depending on their family, as does their feathers, wings and claws vary on the owl type. Some may even have both antlers and tusks if they have close family with antlers and tusks. An interesting trait some Oricenta are born with is when their antlers/tusks and/or wings aren’t connected to their body, yet still functions the same as those who do have them connected to their body. This isn't a rare trait for them to have, and can be acquired if a close family member has antlers, tusks, and/or wings like that. All Oricenta have feathers coming from where human ears would come from, and they come in a variety of different shapes and sizes. Along with feathers appearing from the sides of their heads, they also have feathers that cover their body. This varies depending on the Oricenta, but most have their backs almost completely covered in feathers because of their wings. A subtler trait of an Oricenta is that their pupils are abnormally large compared to humans, but looks [/SIZE]appropriate[SIZE=12pt] to how owls' pupils look.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Oricenta can come in many shapes a sizes, ranging from skinny to fat, lean to buff, and short to tall. A short Oricenta is generally considered to be about 4'9ft, while a tall Oricenta is considered to be around 10ft. A child of a short Oricenta family will usually end up short, and a child of a tall Oricenta family will usually end up tall. If a child comes from a family with mixed height, they may end up being short, tall, or just in the middle.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]All Oricenta have five forms: Form 1, Form 2, Form 3, and Form 4.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Form 1 AKA Humanoid Form[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]This is most human-like form Oricenta can possibly have. In this form their wings are on their upper back with two deer legs on the bottom half of their body (past their torso). They are lighter in this form compared to Form 2, and they are able to cover up more of their body parts to look as human as possible.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Form 2 AKA Cervitaur Form[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]This is where they’re often compared to cervitaurs and centaurs, with the bottom half of their body (past their torso). They have four deer legs, and can be summed up with them looking like they took a deer’s body, took off the head and neck, and replace it with their torso up, just like a centaur and cervitaur.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Form 3 AKA Deer Form[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]In this form Oricenta can turn into a deer, but won’t fit into a specific type of deer since they aren’t really deer. The most they’ll be able to do is look similar to types of deer. It’s not like they could look like a normal deer anyways, since most Oricenta have unnatural colors for their features.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt] [/SIZE]In this form, if they wanted to, they could summon their wings to fly. Their flight speed would be slower due to weight, but with their wings it makes them look very similar to [SIZE=12pt]Perytons[/SIZE][SIZE=12pt]. They are not able to speak in this form, but they are still capable of using abilities and thinking intelligently as they can in their other forms. The size and weight of this form depends on their size and weight of Form 1 and 2.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Form 4 AKA Owl Form[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Like Form 3, Oricenta owls usually look like they’re weirdly and unnaturally colored. They will also not fit into a specific species of owls since they aren’t really owls. They’ll only be able to look similar to a types of owls.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]In this form, if wanted, they could summon their antlers (or tusks). Again, they are not able to speak in this form, but they are still capable of using their abilities and thinking as intelligently as they can in their other forms. The size and weight of this form depends on the size and weight of Form 1 and 2.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=16pt]Culture[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Oricenta have a very unique culture due to them mixing human culture into their own. With their close and friendly relationship to humans, they have adapted many things, ranging from names, languages, and for a very small few, even religion. Both species regularly trade knowledge and items with one another, and a small handful have even started families. Most try to stay neutral when it comes to human wars though, and when a war breaks out with humans they go back to their own land until it's over.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Locations[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Other than a small percent living in areas humans [/SIZE]permanently[SIZE=12pt], most live in their own country Ilada. Ilada rivals the size of Russia, and is is big enough to hold all Oricenta comfortably. It is ran like a democracy, and inside of this country are many cities and villages fit for each Oricenta type wants and needs. This country has multiple areas fit for different Oricenta to live in without harm. This is done by some Oricenta taking on jobs where they use their elemental abilities to manipulate their areas into a desirable place for certain Oricenta. Because of how tiring this job can be and how many people are needed to keep everything going smoothly 24/7, it is a lucrative job only for Oricenta skilled with their abilities.[/SIZE]

- [SIZE=12pt]Poya:[/SIZE][SIZE=12pt] An area covered mostly by water where it’s raining twenty-four-seven. There’s homes both on the surface and inside the large sea near right beside the village. This is an excellent place for Water Oricenta with a preference towards water to live in. [/SIZE]
- [SIZE=12pt]Mona: [/SIZE][SIZE=12pt]A large cloud village that hovers over Uba and Poya. Here Air Oricenta and Cloud Oricenta live together and assist in keeping the areas of Uba and Poya wet and snowy.[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=12pt]Ora:[/SIZE][SIZE=12pt] A fire filled place set near many mountains. Perfect for Fire and Earth Oricenta with a preference for heat.[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=12pt]Koli:[/SIZE][SIZE=12pt] A large, mostly flat, grassy land with beautiful mountains nearby. Flowers cover the ground and is largely populated by Earth Oricenta. Most Oricenta find this village to be a good middle ground to interact with everyone.[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=12pt]Lehora:[/SIZE][SIZE=12pt] Not a village, but the capital of Ilada that has the perfect conditions for all Oricenta. Here people are able to trade, interact, live, and enjoy life together without worries of being hurt or dying. There are many schools for all types of Oricenta, large buildings, stores, homes, apartments, banks, libraries, and anything else you’d find in any gigantic city. This is the most populated and popular area of Ilada for various reasons.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Naming[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Oricenta commonly give their children two names; one for their “human” ethnicity, and one for their own species. Most Oricenta names end with a vowel, like Iba or Koki, but others can end with a consonant, like Claumax or Polid. There aren’t really masculine or feminine names, but some are used by one gender more than the other. Some decide to combine their human name with their Oricenta name, which can lead to a name like Angela Piko Hiker Bok. Angela and Piko being the first names, while Hiker and Bok being the last. Most find the structure and sound to be silly and confusing and will just pick which name they’ll use most often. For last names, Oricenta usually just take a word from their language Oscela that they feel represents their family well and use it as their last name. In most cases, they’ll do the same thing for their human last names and use a word from their main human culture/language that they feel represents their family. Sometimes they’ll also combine last names with their lover, or just take the last name they like the most.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Language[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]All Oricenta are taught the language of Oscela first in their lives, though it’s common for them to also be taught a human language in addition. Oscella uses special signs and accents that are difficult for humans to comprehend, and at times, requires gestures and facial expressions to express context for what they're saying correctly. It is common to see a vowel at the end of words used to name nouns. Due to there being a specific accent required to accurately use the language, many Oricenta grow up with an accent hard for humans to understand; that is only made slightly better for Oricenta that grew up with an accent that is a mixture of multiple accents, making it seems like they only sound somewhat comprehensible.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Markings[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]An Oricenta’s markings is the most important feature for an Oricenta. One’s marking represents their family and gives other Oricenta a good idea of what family they come from. The paint used is specially made to stick to their skin, feathers, and fur for long periods of time until properly washed. Oricenta wears these markings from the moment they wake up till they go to sleep. They always spend long amounts of times during their day putting them on and scrubbing them off delicately, and may require assistance from another Oricenta to get the markings properly on/off. Not using one’s family markings is a sign of abandoning their family (unless creating a new family with their partner and/or their child).[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Markings can appear anywhere on an Oricenta as long as they are visible most of the time, but the most common area is the face. They also appear when the Oricenta turns into their deer and owl form. No markings look exactly the same unless they are from the same family, and if by coincidence an Oricenta finds one that looks the same, those Oricenta must figure out how to compromise, or else it’ll look like they’re trying to impersonate as a family member.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]When Oricenta lovers decide to marry, they combine their markings together to show the combination of family, or alternatively create their own markings to show the creation of a new family. Usually the latter comes with a last name change the two share and pass off to their potential children.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]The most special part of the markings is that it’s specifically made only for Oricenta use and is imbued with magic that they can only use. When an Oricenta wants to boost the powers and strength of their magic or attempt to unlock an ability they didn’t know they had in exchange for stamina, their markings glow. This only lasts for five minutes, and afterwards the Oricenta is usually so tired they pass out.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]For an Oricenta to make new markings for their new family, they have to go to the city of Lehora where they will find Oricenta trained over many years in marking magic. These Oricenta were trained since they entered their adult years in a magic only Oricenta can use, and takes many years to perfect. With this magic they can imbue markings with magic, and are trained to work in Lehora to help new families make their own markings. They’re also able to create markings for specific Oricenta types to put on and take off without worry. Once given the requested design, they will paint the markings on the Oricenta(s), and store their marking design. This is so they can make sure no two markings look exactly the same, though accidents do happen.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Daily Life[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]An Oricenta daily life may differ from Oricenta to Oricenta. There’s no limits to what their lives will entail, and with them coming from different human nationalities, deer, owls, locations, and family, there’s no telling their exact lifestyle. A religious Oricenta may live their life differently than an Oricenta who's atheist, and a Water Oricenta may lead a different life than an Earth Oricenta. There is stuff all Oricenta share in common though, no matter where they come from.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Take clothing for example of something Oricenta usually share in common. When in their natural habitat, Oricenta don’t usually wear clothing since it makes them uncomfortable. It restricts their movements, and is hard to transport and form themselves to when they switch forms. Usually a shirt and hat is good enough for them to look stylish, since that way they can switch in and out of Form 1 and Form 2 without worry of their bottom clothing falling off or ripping.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]When it comes to being clean, Oricenta usually have specific stuff to help make the job easier. They use special soap for their fur, feathers, hair, and skin, and use a special brush and comb that won’t hurt their hair like human brushes do. When they dry off after getting wet, their wings usually take a few hours to dry, causing most Oricenta to be incapable of flight.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]For parenting, Oricenta can have one or two parents of any gender and sex for reasons explained down below. The parent(s) is/are responsible for teaching their child how to fly, run, use their Oricenta type abilities, and their general Oricenta abilities as they grow older. This also includes teaching them on how to handle their extreme senses that makes it feel like their senses are torture devices. If a parent doesn’t want to teach their child all of that, they can send them off to a school for Oricenta. There, they learn how to use all of their abilities appropriate to their age, what to expect in their future as an Oricenta, and education appropriate to their age group. If the parent(s) feels like they can handle teaching their child Oricenta stuff by themself/themselves, they may just send their child to a human school or a school for all species.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]As a child grows older, they may choose to stay with their parents and live in a large household, or may choose to leave and live a life separate to their parent(s). A lot of the time though, when the now adult Oricenta’s parent(s) are approaching old age and will die soon the Oricenta will stay with their parent(s) and take care of them until their death.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Adult Oricenta usually take on jobs appropriate to their Oricenta type. An Air Oricenta would most likely be a traveler, while a Water Oricenta would most likely be a fisher. These aren’t absolutes though, and Oricenta can take on any job they want as long as they are physically and mentally capable for it. Some may even decide to train for specialized jobs such as being an Oricenta working with markings.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Religion[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Oricenta do not have a specific religion they all follow, but instead rules that all Oricenta, no matter their human culture, must follow. Failing to abide by these rules will lead to them to being placed into prisons where they are treated as living beings with feelings and trained to be better members of society. If they fail at being helped they'll just be kept in the prisons where others are safe from any harm they could bring.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Some may have small religions they create, but they all must follow these rules:[/SIZE]
- Be kind and generous to any creature, as long as they show the same treatment to you too.
- [SIZE=12pt]Do not trick and manipulate another Oricenta. Instead, team up together for a goal both parties can benefit from.[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=12pt]Incest is not allowed.[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=12pt]Pedophilia is not allowed. This means an adult Oricenta with an Oricenta under the age of eighteen. Exceptions are allowed if the ages are only two years apart.[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=12pt]Any type of abuse (physical, sexual, psychological, etc.) is not allowed, especially against children.[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=12pt]Non-consensual sexual intercourse is not allowed.[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=12pt]Do not have sexual intercourse with normal owls or deer, as they are not intelligent enough to understand what’s going on.[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=12pt]Do not have sexual intercourse with any types of animal that does not have the same intelligence as an Oricenta.[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=12pt]Do not discriminate against those because of their physical traits, even if they were born with deficiencies.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Habits[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Known as a beautiful and charismatic species, but also a manipulative and cunning one, Oricenta are prone to using their charm to get what they want. Targeting only species outside of their own unless they want to face being shunned by their own species, Oricenta will sometimes work together or alone to achieve their personal goals. Their schemes are usually never harmful enough to lead to permanent damage, especially with their close human relationships, but it has caused a lot of people to view them as untrustworthy.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Children aren’t exempt from this too though. They usually learn from their parent(s) and will use their young and cute looks to get what they want. Some even work alongside their parent(s) for their goals, and usually grow up to be a master at manipulation.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Of course, not all Oricenta are like this, and some aren’t even considered beautiful and/or charismatic, but even the good ones with these common gifts may use their beautiful and charismatic charms for the greater good instead of some selfish goal. Whether used for good or evil, an Oricenta is expected to never use their manipulation to hurt another Oricenta. If they do, they are usually shunned to the point that Oricenta can no longer survive without fully assimilating into another society.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=16pt]Biology[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Though it’s easy to describe Oricenta as just being a mixture of humans, deer, and owls, they are anything but that. Their bodies have clear distinctions from those species, and at best, can only be considered a sibling species.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Aging[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Aging for Oricenta works differently from humans, deer, and owls as they can live up to 410-years-old (if they take care of themselves) before dying from old age. They stop aging physically at 24-years-old, but they can age up their looks if they choose to. Once they age up their appearance though, there’s no going back and they must deal with their older body. The more they age themselves up, the weaker their body can become, though their magic will remain fine. As an Oricenta ages, their powers become naturally stronger, and by their old age they are master in the abilities they wield. They must have trained in their abilities to be considered a master, because if an Oricenta that only starts learning their abilities much later on, they’ll be starting off strong but unskilled.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Some may grow faster or slower than others in their age group, but it shouldn’t be considered a problem unless it’s negatively affecting their health.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]Baby/Toddler (0-3-years-old): No antlers/tusks, can't change their sexual characteristics, shape-shifting between forms are extremely unstable and are usually emotional based, carries on the baby features of their owl or cervid based animals, are usually average weight and height for a human, deer, and owl depending on which form they're in or born into, wings are usually too small and featherless for their body to fly.[/SIZE]
Child/Pre-Puberty (4-12): No antlers/tusks, still can’t change their sexual characteristics, issues shape-shifting between forms but are getting better, carries on the baby features of their owl or cervid based animals, are usually average weight and height for a human, deer, and owl wings are still small but they're able to start training in flight.
[SIZE=12pt]Teen/During-Puberty (Usually 13-18): Antlers/tusks start to grow depending on cervid type and sex, carries on cervid/owl based traits that are gained in their more adult years, learning to start changing their sexual characteristics (middle and/or end of puberty), better at shape-shifting between forms but is still struggling, wings are more proportionate to their body, and they can fly much easier and faster now.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Adult/Post-Puberty (Usually 18-24+): Antlers/tusks are fully grown and there depending on cervid type and sex, carries on cervid/owl based traits that are gained in adulthood, can change their sexual characteristics whenever they want, are better at shape-shifting between forms, wings are proportionate to their body and stronger now, and they can fly fast and easily.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Breeding[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]There are various breeding methods from Oricenta that allows them to breed with any sex. Due to them being able to boundlessly change their sexual characteristics for various reasons ranging from heightening their chances of breeding to taking care of their child, there are multiple ways a Oricenta can have a child. With them being able to change their sexual characteristics, defining an Oricenta’s gender is nearly impossible. This is not helped by their Oricenta names not really giving much indication to what their sex/gender is. Most don't change their sex though unless they feel it's necessary (lack of partners, needing to take care of a child, transgender, etc.). There’s also the fact that hermaphrodites (possessing both male and female genitals) are as common as female and male genitals, allowing them to asexually reproduce. This lack of care for gender has caused many Oricenta to find humans weird with how they gender one another, and at times Oricenta themselves will come off as weird for trying to mimic human genders. Take for example a Water Oricenta saying they're watergender because they don't fully comprehend how genders work and why that "gender" doesn't work.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]It's uncommon to see an Oricenta breed with someone with the exact type they are. This is because Oricenta like to select partners different to them to create a Mixed Oricenta. A Mixed Oricenta is an Oricenta that combined two of the Main Oricenta’s elements into a new Oricenta type. This can mean, say, Water Oricenta and Air Oricenta breeding to create a child that can manipulate both water and air, in which they’ll be called a Cloud Oricenta. Or alternatively, a child being mixed of Fire and Earth being able to merge fire and earth to create magma, where they’ll be called a Magma Oricenta. No matter how many different types an Oricenta breeds with, their child will only have a maximum of two different classes of abilities from the closest Oricenta types they were born from. Because of this, an Oricenta with a pure bloodline of one Main Oricenta type no longer exists.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Here are the breeding methods for Oricenta:[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Breeding with Opposite Sex:[/SIZE][SIZE=12pt] A male (or hermaphrodite)-bodied Oricenta breeds with a female-bodied Oricenta.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Asexual Reproduction:[/SIZE][SIZE=12pt] A hermaphrodite Oricenta creates a child using only themself and the genes from their own family line. Usually used by Oricenta who don’t want, or can’t find, a partner, yet still want a child.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Donor and Carrier:[/SIZE][SIZE=12pt] This method requires magic from their markings for an Oricenta to preform it. [/SIZE] [SIZE=12pt]One Oricenta is the donor, which can be any sex, while the other is the carrier, who must always use a female (or hermaphrodite) body to carry the child. [/SIZE][SIZE=12pt]Using magic and a strong and mutual emotional bond, the two Oricenta combine their markings or create a new one to represent that they are starting a new family. This way doesn’t require any sexual interaction, but usually leaves both participants extremely weak in the process due to the amount of magic they must use. Most do this if one, or both, loves the other and wants a child, yet isn’t comfortable having sex.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Diet[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Anything a human, owl, and deer can safely drink and eat, so can an Oricenta. Of course, some may have allergies and just can’t eat and drink that specific thing, but that’s really their only limit. Their preference to food may change depending on what form they’re in, but even in their owl and deer forms they are capable of eating stuff humans, deer, and owls can eat. However, some may choose to not eat certain foods due to human religious beliefs they’ve assimilated into.[/SIZE]

Having both the traits of owls and deer, they also take on traits those two have. For their owl traits this includes being able to adapt to aerial environments, adapt to atmospheres for flight, turn their head 360-degrees, growing sharp strong claws for hunting, night adaption (seeing well in the night, functioning well during the night, etc.), and have a predator instinct (enhanced tracking and hunting). On the other hand, for their deer traits Oricenta have a prey instinct (sense and avoid danger), enhanced speed, and enhanced jump.
[SIZE=12pt]Senses [/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Expected from a species with heavy similarities to deer and owls, Oricenta senses are extremely sensitive. From the moment they are born to when they die they are able to pick up senses most humans can’t even comprehend. Child Oricenta gets it the worst though, as their senses are so sensitive they at times can’t even function properly. This is why being taught how to control one’s senses is one of the first thing a child Oricenta is taught.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Camouflage/Inaudibility[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Oricenta, depending on their type, are great at hiding in their natural environment. A Water Oricenta will be able to blend into the sea as easily as a Fire Oricenta can blend into flames. They suffer no harm blending into their natural habitat for a long time, and this skill makes them great but fearful predators to face against. Some are born unluckier than others though, and may not be able to camouflage as well as other Oricenta.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Another thing they're capable of doing is making themselves extremely silent. This doesn't mean they're completely silent though, but they're capable of moving unheard and seen unless someone is focusing on them, focusing on finding them, or if the Oricenta accidentally makes a loud noise external to their body (like breaking a branch).[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]With their multiple forms, Oricenta are able to travel multiple ways in a quick and easy way. This can range from them flying, using their legs, or even using their various abilities.[/SIZE]
Abilities
Oricenta abilities depends greatly on the type they come from, such as a Fire Oricenta having fire abilities, or a Water Oricenta being able to shape-shift their body into water. One thing all Oricenta share in common with abilities though is the fact that as they grow older, whether they gain more knowledge or not, their abilities grows stronger. Their abilities start out weak to nonexistent at first, but will slowly grow into something more powerful and formidable by the time they reach the middle of their lifespan (205). This is a very concerning thing for Oricenta who haven’t learned how to control their magic until much later on in life, yet have very strong abilities. They are basically starting out as a high level character in a video game they’ve never played.
[SIZE=12pt]Abilities can show itself in different ways for different Oricenta, even if they’re from the same type. An Earth Oricenta may be able to create crystals but not manipulate them, yet another Earth Oricenta may be able to destroy crystals and turn them into sentient beings. There’s also how some types of Oricenta allow for abilities other Oricenta just can’t access unless they mix. Take for example a Water Oricenta who can breathe under water and fly in rain, but a Fire Oricenta would be hurt in the water yet could survive their body being thrown in fire.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]However, all Oricenta have some form of healing abilities, or at the very least some form of that ability that could be used for medical care. The older they get and the more trained they are in those abilities, the stronger they’ll become. They start off only being capable of healing scratches, but then will grow to be able to heal and even regenerate body parts. This doesn’t allow for immortality though, since there’s always the possibility of them not healing the wound fast enough or just dying from old age.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]In addition to their natural Oricenta type abilities, Oricenta can increase the strength of their abilities for a maximum of five minutes by using the magic imbued into their markings. With this, an Oricenta may discover an ability they previously didn't know they had, or just boost the abilities they already have in power significantly. However, the longer they use this ability the more stamina they lose. By the time their five minutes are up the Oricenta will be so weak they'll barely be able to move and will pass out soon after.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=16pt]Oricenta Types[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]All Oricenta have a type based around the four elements (Air, Earth, Fire, Water), and when they mix those elements together they can create new types of Oricenta. All Oricenta types have ups and downs, though some may be more advantageous/disadvantaged in certain areas and against other Oricenta types than others.[/SIZE]
Main Oricenta
[SIZE=12pt]These types of Oricenta are able to control one of the main four elements in one way or another, such as one being able to create and erase fire, while another can only manipulate fire.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Air Oricenta[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Known for growing their wings at a faster rate and larger form than other Oricenta, they are capable of flight before most Oricenta even grow feathers on their wings. Air Oricenta are able to stay in the air much longer than other Oricenta, and won’t lose their ability to fly immediately if they’re in a rainy area or hot place. They’re still able to lose the ability to fly until they find a better place for them to fly, but they won’t drop to the ground immediately. [/SIZE] [SIZE=12pt]They also have excellent senses in the air, allowing them to see, hear, and smell much further from the sky compared to other Oricenta.[/SIZE] [SIZE=12pt] The downside with their skills and preference for flight is that usually they fall behind when it comes to running. This is most evident when a young Air Oricenta has difficulties walking when other Oricenta children their age is able to walk, run, and climb already. When they do decide to walk, all Air Oricenta are capable of walking on air as if it’s a completely solid platform.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Obvious by their name, their abilities are based around the control of air. Abilities Air Oricenta are capable of having are the abilities: to manipulate, create, remove, give sentience to, and/or shape-shift into air. They usually have a color palette that matches a time of day, which usually causes some Air Oricenta to hunt only during the times of day they blend into the sky the most. Jobs Air Oricenta are desired for are jobs related to traveling and working in the sky. This can be couriers, topographers, cartographers, rescuers in the sky, look-out, weather reporters, etc.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Earth Oricenta[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Known for their ability to control almost everything related to the Earth, this is a diverse and dangerous type of Oricenta. Usually found in camouflaging in rocky and grassy areas close to the ground, and are considered the opposite to Air Oricenta. While Air Oricenta are great fliers but lacking on ground, Earth Oricenta are great with their legs, but aren’t very good fliers. In fact, most Earth Oricenta are large and stronger physically than other Oricenta types. They also have hard and sharp nails and hooves that allow them to burrow into the ground. Some may even be found living underground instead of on the surface.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]While it may not be obvious how diverse their abilities are, the abilities they are capable of are extremely diverse. Earth Oricenta are capable of having the following abilities: to manipulate, create, remove, give sentience to, and/or shape-shift into plants, soil, metals, crystals, minerals, rocks, etc. Of course, they don’t have all of these abilities, and most have a section they’re only able to control. Take for example an Earth Oricenta that can manipulate plants, but can’t manipulate rocks, or an Earth Oricenta that can create minerals but can’t manipulate soil. Earth Oricenta usually take on the appearance of whatever abilities they have, such as having a plant-like appearance if they can manipulate plants. Jobs Earth Oricenta are desired for are being miners, couriers, topographers, cartographers, etc.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Fire Oricenta[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Known for their ability to walk on flames and bathe and breath in flames no discomfort. They’re commonly seen as a “hot headed” Oricenta that are impulsive and out of control at times. Usually found in scorching hot areas, they are considered the exact opposite to Water Oricenta. They cannot survive in extremely cold or wet areas, and the colder/wetter their body the quicker but more painful their death. This does not mean they cannot be allies, friends, or even lovers with Water Oricenta though. All this means is that they must be very careful with using their abilities near one another.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Fire Oricenta are capable of having the following abilities: to manipulate, create, remove, give sentience to, and/or shape-shift into flames. Fire Oricenta generally have the appearance of flames. Since flames have multiple colors depending on their heat the type of colors a Fire Oricenta can have are: red, orange, yellow, white and and/or blue. Jobs Fire Oricenta are desired for include being a fire fighter, a rescuer for flames, a cook, etc.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Water Oricenta[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Known as the Oricenta type that can walk on water, live underwater comfortable, and fly in the rain, they are sometimes seen as the Mermaids of the species. Similar to Earth Oricenta where their abilities are extremely diverse, Water Oricenta are also a good counter to Fire Oricenta. They are commonly found in extremely cold areas, extremely wet areas, or living underwater. Water Oricenta cannot survive in warm areas, and the warmer their body the quicker but more painful their death. As said above, Water Oricenta can have good relationships with Fire Oricenta as long as they are both careful with their abilities.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Water Oricenta are capable of having the following abilities: to manipulate, create, remove, give sentience to, and/or shape-shift into water, snow, and/or ice. Compared to Earth Oricenta, Water Oricenta don’t usually use all those abilities, but in contrast, they are able to control the forms of water in some form while Earth Oricenta are usually limited to one category from the Earth. A Water Oricenta living in a wet area is more likely to learn their water magic than their snow and ice abilities, while a Water Oricenta in a snowy/icy area is more likely to develop their snow and ice abilities instead. Their appearance commonly takes on the form of looking like water or snow, and depending on what they look like helps a Water Oricenta decide what abilities they’ll try to develop more. Jobs Water Oricenta are desired for require them to go into harsh wet and cold environments, collect research in those environments, become rescuers for people in wet and cold areas, fishing, etc.[/SIZE]
Mixed Oricenta
[SIZE=12pt]As said above, when a Main Oricenta breeds with another type of Main Oricenta they can produce a child that has a mixture of those two Main Oricenta’s abilities. Mixed Oricenta who asexually reproduce will have a child with the same abilities they have, however; there’s almost always differences in abilities. Mixed Oricenta have the abilities from the two elements they take the most from, while also having a new ability corresponding to their Mixed Oricenta type. Sometimes these abilities don’t exactly match up perfectly, but they can be used to make them a fearsome opponent.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt] [/SIZE]With that in mind, there are two rules with this type: they will always have some form of a mixture of their two Oricenta types, and they can’t take on more than two Oricenta type abilities. This means there’s no Earth + Fire + Water or anything of that form. If a Mixed Oricenta starts a family that breeds with only one type of Oricenta, their family will eventually go back to being a Main Oricenta of the type their family most commonly bred with.
[SIZE=12pt]Sandstorm/Dust Storm Oricenta (Air + Earth)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Mixing both Air and Earth, Sandstorm/Dust Storm Oricenta are capable of the following abilities: [/SIZE]to manipulate, create, remove, give sentience to, and/or shape-shift into sandstorms. All Sandstorm Oricenta have the general abilities Air and Earth Oricenta have, such as being able to walk on air or burrow into the Earth quickly without harm. They generally have a sandy or dirt-like appearance, and because of this they commonly hide in the Earth than in the sky.
[SIZE=12pt]Fire-Breather Oricenta (Air + Fire)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Mixing both Air and Fire, Fire-Breather Oricenta are capable of the following abilities: to breath fire, spread fire by using the wind to make it larger, and heating up air until it’s scorching hot. This can be dangerous to Fire-Breather Oricenta who can create flames and air, but can’t actually control or remove them. They also have the general abilities Air and Fire Oricenta have, such as being able to survive being on fire and staying in the air for a long time. They usually have a fire-like appearance, so it may be hard to differentiate a Fire-Breather Oricenta and a Fire Oricenta.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Cloud Oricenta (Air + Water)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Mixing both Air and Water, Cloud Oricenta are capable of the following abilities: to manipulate, create, remove, give sentience to, shape-shift into, and/or walk on clouds and storms. With the added ability of storms, they’re able to control lightning and electricity. They also have the general abilities Air and Water Oricenta have, such as growing larger wings quickly at a young age and flying in the rain without problems. They usually have a cloud-like appearance to allow them to camouflage into the clouds, and this occasionally means a Cloud Oricenta will have a lighter or darker palette for lighter and darker clouds.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Magma Oricenta (Earth + Fire)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Mixing both Earth and Fire, Magma Oricenta are capable of the following abilities: to manipulate, create, remove, give sentience to, shape-shift into, and/or walk on magma. They have the general abilities Earth and Fire Oricenta have, such as being able to breath in ash without issues and being able to control metal in some form. They generally have fiery but rock-like appearance, and because of this, they are able to blend into both environments. They’re commonly known to camouflage in fire though since they find it easier.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Mud Oricenta (Earth + Water)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=12pt]Mixing both Earth and Water, Mud Oricenta are capable of the following abilities: to manipulate, create, remove, give sentience to, shape-shift into, and/or walk on mud. They have the general abilities Earth and Fire Oricenta have, such as being able to control the earth in some form and living underwater. They commonly have an appearance that looks muddy, which allows them to look like an Earth Oricenta that can blend into dirt and mud. This makes it hard to tell Earth Oricenta and Mud Oricenta apart usually.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=12pt]Mixing both Water and Fire, Steam Oricenta are capable of the following abilities: to manipulate, create, remove, give sentience to, and/or shape-shift into steam, geysers, and boiling liquids. They have the general abilities Water and Fire Oricenta have, such as being able to walk on water and fly through fire. Steam Oricenta usually have an appearance that looks like steam, and since steam is a mostly invisible they usually have a very light color palette.[/SIZE]
