I'm me, pretending to be someone else.
Hi friends!!
My name is Maddy, I'm a 21 year old English/creative writing student who is on summer break and super bored, so I figured I would fill that time with Roleplays and fun while I'm at work. Recently I have become obsessed with Orange is the New Black. I binged the show in a week and am (impatiently) awaiting June 9th when season 5 is gifted to us.
I'm looking for someone to play opposite my Alex for a Roleplay. I would prefer Piper or even Nicky, but if you have another pairing you like or even an OC you use, feel free to hit me up!!
I have a few starters that I'm going to post below, but if none of these interest you I'm totally up for talking about something new. Message me if you're at all interested! Thank you!
Starters:
#1: post season 4 (season 4 spoilers)
Litchfield had become a hell. Literally. Fire blazed, sirens blared, and the people had gone insane. All Alex wanted to do was escape alive, but that looked less likely every second. Her and Piper got caught on the way away from the riots. Officers in riot gear. Mace made up more of the oxygen and by morning everyone was rounded up into locked cells while fires burned and blood dripped. The place was in ruins and there were whispers of transfers. Alex hadn't seen Piper since they were separated by the officers. She fought against the guards as they were all led onto buses that eventually took them to the airport where they would be flown to separate facilities. Everyone she knew, gone in a second.
After an exhausting drive, flight, layover, flight, and drive, Alex trudged with all the other women into their new facility somewhere on the other side. It was only state. All the federal prisons were stocked up. Too many inmates, not enough space.
Finally she was sitting. In a bed. It felt like years since she had sat down in a bed and actually felt like she could stop moving. Alex leaned her head on the wall behind her and let out a deep breath that she supposed was supposed to be soothing. It wasn't. Just as she was about to doze off, someone walked into the cell.
#2: When Alex is released in season 2
Alex was losing it. Truly. She was starting to crack and she was sure it showed. Luckily she rarely left the house anymore, so it didn't really matter. She would wake up, make sure the blinds in her apartment were closed tight, check the phone, listen to any voicemails, and then take a shower with the door open in case she needed to bolt. Her gun was always next to her at all times.
Looking in the steamy mirror, she touched the dark circles under her eyes and clenched her jaw. She was barely sleeping because of this guy, and she knew it was only a matter of time before he made a move. She knew he was messing with her. One day there was an empty wine bottle and it was moved. Just slightly, but she noticed it. He had gotten in somehow. He was sending her a message.
Alex sighed and went out into the kitchen, her dripping hair pulled up so it didn't leak onto her tank top. She started making coffee and toast, freezing when there was a knock. Grabbing her gun and stuffing it in her waistband, she went over to the front door and looked out the peephole.
#3: Post-show AU
Freedom was still scary. Still new, but very welcoming. And what better way to spend that freedom than get drunk or high every night before taking a different woman back to her apartment? Piper was MIA, probably had moved back by her parents to remake her reputation, and never called Alex back. Never texted her back either whenever Alex drunk texted, which she did almost every night. Working in a tattoo parlor as their receptionist/coffee bitch didn't require not being hungover. The guys there didn't give any fucks.
Alex walked into the bar and leaned against it. "Whiskey on the rocks. Thanks," she said shortly to the bartender, who nodded and went off to make her drink. She turned around and scanned the room as she sipped her drink, pulling down her black tank top. She still wasn't used to such tight clothes.
A random man walked over to her and smirked. "Can I get you a drink, gorgeous?" She rolled her eyes. "Beat it. That's what you're going to have to do tonight if you use that line." She turned around and made her way to an empty table. As she flipped through Facebook on her phone, someone sat down at the table. "Seat's taken," she said, not looking up.
