Fantasy Oracle Hill: NPCs, Extras, and Host Characters

Here's where I'll post my characters. Check back every so often to see if I've posted anymore.
As the roleplay goes on, I'll post extras, NPCs, and main characters here as I see fit.
I'll also post scenes from their lives, which usually you won't need to read, but if you want to they're there for your enjoyment.

  Name: Jack Bee Nimble

  "Yeah, that's my real name alright. My mother thought it'd be hilarious. My father had a DEVIL of a time accepting it! Or me. Ha. #wannadie."

  Jack grew up in various places, due to his eccentric and slightly paranoid mother. She herself had never expected her son to be a tiefling, and so she seeked to protect him from everyone--including Oracle Hill. Once Jack was seven or eight, he himself was contacted by Oracle Hill, and has been using their resources and protection from that time on. They don't include his mother in any meetings they might have with Jack, and Jack has gotten good at accepting his mother's shenanigans and paranoia as another part of his life.
  
  He uses copious amounts of makeup to make his bright red skin look normal, and until a year ago he's always shaved his horns down. He made friends with a few fairies that help him with illusion magic that makes his horns disappear, but for whatever does jack squat for his skin. His tail he simply wraps around his chest, and it's come in handy multiple times to freak out muggers and other unsavory New Yorkers.
  
  He's an only child, technically; he recently adopted another tiefling as his "little sister" named Shirley. While he doesn't know a whole lot about her history, he knows that she's sweet, she needs someone to take care of her, and he's perfectly happy to provide that care. His mother doesn't know about Shirley, but Oracle Hill does, and they provide all the necessities that he can't.

  "Oh quit that. We're all strong, but we have different kinds of strong. Sure, there's the obvious ones, y'know, body strength and mind strength, but there's also, like, so many others! Like, I don't know, emotional strength. The way people move gracefully through hard stuff, that's a strength. Or, I don't know, being able to get up in the morning despite knowing that if you never woke up again no one in the world would mourn you. That right there, that's strength. We're all strong, you see--just strong in our own ways."

  Shirley has amnesia. The first thing she remembers is being found on the side of the road by Jack. She was wearing a necklace with the name "Shirley" on it, so that's what Jack called her. Shirley has no idea if this is her real name or not. She seems to remember to know how to eat, walk, drink, all the normal habits. She even knows how to properly care for her horns and how to use makeup to make herself appear normal. She doesn't remember where she learned these things, or who taught them to her.
  
  Occasionally, she'll get a small flash of a memory. A blue dress that she knows her older sister would love to wear. She doesn't remember knowing that she had a sister, but she knows that her sister would love that dress. She'll walk past a mirror, and think, everyone's always told me I have my daddy's eyes, but won't remember anything beyond that. Oracle Hill has tried to locate her family members, but to no avail. Jack has adopted her as his little sister, and she's grateful for him, but part of her will always long to know what her life was like before she woke up on Broadway Street.

  Name: Genevieve Hemings Heathers
  Age: 248 (Appears to be in her mid-twenties)

  "It has been a pleasure to watch my grandchildren grow up, though it pains me to watch from the shadows. My great-great-grandchildren are now living and fighting in a world where black skin is increasingly becoming normal and not worn in shame. I cannot tell which is more pleasing--that slowly, ever so slowly, race relations are improving, or that my great-great-grandchildren all graduated from high school this year."

  Sally Hemings was a slave that was rumored to have had children with her slaver, Thomas Jefferson. As the granddaughter of Sally, Gen can say for certain that these rumors are true. She grew up as the daughter of Beverly Hemings, one of Sally's sons, in Washington DC. In her early twenties, she got married and had four sons with a Jim Heathers. One of her sons, George, fell into a bad crowd and came home one night and attacked his family. He had been turned into a vampire and unfortunately went insane because of it. He was thirteen. He killed his youngest brother, who was barely four years old. His parents and two middle brothers managed to escape, and fled to a friend's cabin a few miles outside of town. They stayed there a few days before Gen went back into town to try to save her son. Her husband stayed behind and protected her children.
  
  Gen met with George, who had turned into a rabid monster who was hungry for blood. She was attacked, but not killed. She woke up hours later in the cabin with her husband by her side, holding her hand. As gently as he could, he told her that their son was dead, that Jim had shot George in the head. Gen was then told that Jim had seen the same monstrous fangs in Gen's mouth, but that she had fainted at the sight of her son dead. Jim had taken her back to the cabin with the help of his brother and hadn't told their two sons or his brother what he had seen. He didn't know what to do, and neither did Gen. They thought for sure that Gen was doomed to kill her family just as her son did.
  
  A few days later, after burying both of their sons (and spinning a tale of a hunting accident gone horribly wrong, where George had taken little Jimmy out to the woods, and Jimmy had shot George in the head and then got mauled by some animal) Gen found herself with a strange craving for "meat drippings" as she put it. She sucked the raw meat dry, and felt the cravings recede. Every few weeks, she'd do this, and Jim bought the meat from the butcher, saying that his wife "Likes her meat as bloody as possible. Woman does something with the juices that'd make your head spin."
  
  This continued for years, and slowly they realized that Gen wasn't aging, but Jim was. Once they realized this, Gen knew that she wasn't human anymore. With many long-night discussions, Jim decided that they would keep this hidden as long as they could, and that he would never leave her. As the years went by, they moved and in the eyes of the communities they lived in Gen became a younger sister, then a daughter, then a granddaughter, still caring for her aging grandparent. Her sons became her brothers, and one claimed to be her father. All of her immediate family thought she died of scarlet fever years ago. Eventually, Jim died, and Gen informed her sons that she was going to move out west, alone. They were against this until Gen demonstrated her unnatural strength by lifting a cow over her head.
  
  Gen moved west, and had many adventures among the mountain men and the Native Americans. She lived in various unnamed places, always moving after a few years. Eventually she knew the word for what she was--a vampire. Someone from Oracle Hill reached out after Teddy Roosevelt created the first few national parks. Having lived off of the wild lands for years, Gen happily instructed many monsters how to do just that. She eventually moved to Seattle in the early 2000s after someone from Oracle Hill tracked down her five of her great-great-grandchildren. She worked as a teacher in their high school, and made sure all of them graduated. She still lives there, teaching a zoology course at the same high school. She keeps in contact with her great-great-grandchildren, and can happily say that the oldest just got accepted into college.

  Strength: Gen tested her strength's limit once. She could bench press 1200 lbs, and that was under a calm environment. Gen likes to tell a story of how she wrung a bear's neck by noosing it then threw it over her shoulder into a ravine. She will never deny it, but her friends say that she just put the bear in a choke hold.
  Long Life: Gen was born in 1770, and she's still alive today and looks the same age as when she was first turned, 31. Although most people guess her age to be around 24 or 25. "What's your secret?" they ask. Gen just smiles and tells them that when face creams were invented she was first in line. They laugh and she tells them her favorite brand, not knowing that it wasn't a joke.
  Fangs: Like most vampires, Gen's fangs are retractable. They're for show. Mostly.

  "Well how about this. I get what I want, you get whatever I don't want, and we all go home happy because I say so. Now get out of my face before I rip your neck open, hm?"

  Erin was born in a Craiova, Wallachia, to parents Nikolai and Tanya Lidin. Both were Jewish who had fled to Poland during the 16th century when most of Europe blamed the Jewish people for the Black Plague still sweeping through the continent. There, they met Sintitius Black, who lived up to the rather vampiric name he had been blessed with. He took Erin (Then called Anichka) and made her his wife. Her parents were poor immigrants, and he promised them a large sum to live on. Both they and Erin agreed to the terms.
  
  Erin and Sintitius lived together in relative harmony. They weren't in love, but more had a mutual respect for each other. Eventually they both would move on, occasionally reconnecting to discuss their adventures or people they had met. Erin was hired by Oracle Hill in 1945, after WWII had ended. She then changed her name to "Legion" to commemorate, an old inside joke between her and her husband. Erin tried to convince Sintitius to join her at Oracle Hill, but he told her he was "having much too fun with a delightful Roman girl". Erin reminded him that the Roman empire had long since fallen, and he informed her that he wasn't about to tell this "wonderful little delight" that. Recognizing Sintitius' desire to stay out of any form of institution or government, Erin left it at that.
  
  Now, a little over seventy years later, Erin has been promoted from a deputy attorney to the Director of Investigation, where she's been in office for nearly ten years. She's currently seeing Damien, a tiefling who's a good three centuries younger than she is. But she likes his company, and his support. And Sintitius approves of him, which is no easy feat.
