I'm a believer in self guided character creation sheets, so the skeleton I've provided below is
merely a starting point, and definitely not something I require you to follow.
I will ask that you are detailed and that you include details from my world in your character
building. This is a world based on our own, so we'll follow most of the laws of physics.

  Description (picture or words): Yana is half Vietnamese, half Brazilian, all American; she is proud of her hybrid heritage - however, the whole weretiger thing might take some time as she works out the kinks. Her regular form is lean and agile, built for flexibility. She stands at 5'5'' with a mocha complexion, light hazel eyes, and dark exotic features. She also has dark exotic features while shifted, though she stands at 6 feet tall, her build is more muscular and dexterous, and her eyes glow yellow. And she's also a tiger.

  Yana is the first of the American-born children in her family; her parents were both immigrants - her mother Vietnamese and her father Brazilian. Her father was a civil engineer in Sao Paulo before immigrating to the US to work in technological contracting and her mother moved to the US to study pharmacy. Both parents supplement a comfortable lifestyle for a family of seven, Yana being the eldest over four younger brothers. ( Lazaro, Tiago & Thao are twins, and Rafael )
  
  Growing up, the city was her playground, learning the ropes and the roads until it was second nature, as her parents were always busy. She also looked after her brothers; learning responsibility at such a young age, she was mature for her age and her ambitions grew after seeing what she was capable regardless of her age as a limit.
  
  Taking opportunity after opportunity as they came, job after job, Yana found satisfaction in her work as an EMT, getting her certification as a senior in high school so she could use it as a career to supplement her college studies in pre-med as well as it being a flexible and well paying job. Rather than dorming in college, she lives out of her the fire station in her precinct. She loves it; it takes her all around the city and gives her purpose, helping people while learning about herself.
  
  Yana was turned to a lycanthrope after a peculiar call; a medical emergency was reported from a circus that was performing in Central Park. Apparently a tiger had gotten loose and was wreaking havoc on the park. Following the trail of carnage, Yana found a lycanthrope shifting out of his weretiger form. While trying to help the man, Yana was slashed deep enough to be infected, but as she approached, the man had shifted back so that she was not in anymore harm.
  
  On the ambulance ride back, all the man could do in his feverish state was apologize to her, though Yana had not known the true reason why. As he regained more of his consciousness, he asked of her name and general identity. She had no choice but to answer him in order to calm him down; it calmed her down too, as she was trying to make sense of what she had seen.
  
  The next day, she was approached by agents from Oracle Hill; after getting her to trust them, they explained everything to her. She was scared at first, but like her current career, she recognized it was another opportunity; one to help people while learning more about herself, giving her a purpose and making a promise to heal more than she would hurt - becoming an agent in the process.

  Predatorial Perception. Regardless of humanoid form or shifted form, Yana's senses are hypersensitive, especially her sense of smell and hearing; she has very keen night vision as well. With her hunter's intuition, she can track down anything.
  
  Pounce. Yana can leap large spans; while human, she can jump up to 6 feet high or across, and while shifted, she can reach up to 15 feet. Combined with her claws, she can scale tall structures easily.
  
  Teeth and claws. For fatal slashing and biting while shifted; in human form, they are smaller and only half as effective.
  
  Speed. With all these combined, Yana often attacks by ambush, reaching up to speeds of 40 miles per hour by each burst.
  
  Antiseptic Saliva. Like real tigers, Yana's weretiger saliva can be used to disinfect wounds.

  Personality: Though sarcastic and coy, Yana is good humored and reliable; she has an unshakable resolve and composure from her self taught maturity and out of habit from her career. She has a sly sense of humor that she uses to cheer people up, and is very candid and self deprecating with her issues. When it comes down to brass tacks, Yana is a resourceful ally, her sharp wit not only reserved for making people laugh and feel better. Any of Yana's strengths towards her love of other can be a double edged sword to those who cross her.
  
  Shifting: Yana is quite inconsistent with her shifts; sometimes the medicine provided by the agency are effective to help her through her shifts, though those occasions are rare. Most of the time, she needs to monitored by another agent. Her GPS is implanted and worn around her right ankle.

  If Adrian were human, he would be rather tall, potentially standing at 6'1 at most. He's very lanky with long limbs that only add to his image as well as being quite skinny for someone his size. He also has a very angular face with dark brown almond shaped eyes. If you were to look closely, you would be able to see the small black slits that are his pupils. On the right side of his face is a small birthmark as well as having a small scar on his upper lip from when he was a child. Adrian also has two very prominent fangs that are somewhat as the tips of his fangs tend to stick out, even when his mouth is closed. His tongue is also slightly forked and black. He also has dark brown skin and black hair shaved close to his hair.
  
  The lower part of his body is that of a boa constrictor, with the black scales being the most prominent across his chest and then trailing down towards his hips with more splotches of green and black. The length of his lower half pushes Adrian's height to 6'6 if he were relaxed,which is often, and a startling 6'9 if he were 'standing' at his full height. His snake half is much larger and thicker than his own torso, but Adrian seems to have no difficulty getting around. He also has small scratches on on his tail from when he was young, but they aren't vivid or big enough to garner attention.

  Adrian's family were of those that had left with Roosevelt in the past and had later migrated towards other areas of the United States. Adrian's immediate family (consisting of his mother and sister) all live in Oracle Hill, as his mother works as a nurse for other mythical creatures. Being that, Adrian doesn't know his father very well, but does try to stay in contact with him. He's the oldest and more often than not can be seen with his 11 year old sister.
  
  Being somewhat estranged from both his father and the community of nagas his father lives with, he doesn't know much about the social aspects his nature that are common to nagas. His mother being a nurse, does have knowledge of his physical side, he is still doesn't know many nagas other than himself and his family. At these times, he can be rather confused about a lot of things that are commonly known to his kind.
  
  To the surprise of his mother, Adrian wishes to be a Tfin agent. Adrian has a very peaceful and empathetic disposition that makes it hard for him to stand up for himself at times. Being a very empathetic person, he wishes to help others with their own conditions and provide a way for them to be themselves.

  • Enhanced Bite: Adrian is able to unhinge his jaws slightly for a short amount of time. He doesn't do it often, as his mouth tends to be sore for some time afterwards.
  • Stealth: His lower half allows him to be incredibly silent when coming upon someone in almost any environment. He tends to do this a lot unintentionally as he doesn't mean to purposefully frighten others.
  • Enhanced senses: Abel to smell and hear better than the average human.
  • Ingestion: Adrian doesn't have to eat very often. Being rather large, he has to provide a substantial amount of food for himself. When he becomes full, he usually doesn't have to eat for more than a week at most. But he does get a bit peckish at times.

  Personality:
  Adrian generally has a very relaxed disposition being generally friendly towards others and not really getting into conflicts. It's often a joke between him and his mother that despite being a cold-blooded snake, he is very 'warm-hearted' and has a positive outlook on life in general. He considers himself to be an understanding person and tends to give others the benefit of the doubt even when their true intentions are laid clear. He prefers to stick to the background, not being much of a talker himself and lets others speak either before or for him. But, Adrian does have a bit of a bite to him, as he hates seeing those around him either hurt or taken advantage of. Overall, he has a very big brother personality, being generally open to new people and allowing them to become close to him. He's especially popular with the younger kids and occasionally let's them ride on his lower back (sometimes, when he's not aware.)
  
  He would like to become a Tfin agent in the future. Despite being a rather gentle person, Adrian hopes that he can use his strengths to help other mythical creatures like himself as well as potentially meet other nagas.

  Description (picture or words): So, for a Tiefling at least, Jason is pretty short. At 3'4" (1m) and weighing only 44lbs (18 kg). His thin build and small features only serve that fact. Apart from his size, Jason's defining features are his lilac skin and solid, emerald green eyes. His horns and tail are pretty average, making it ever more obvious that he's a Tiefling. As far as clothing is concerned, Jason nearly always wears slightly oversized clothes that were given to him by the home. These usually consist of t-shirts and any type of trousers except skinny jeans.

  Jason was 'rescued' at birth by TFINS agents and was raised among other Tieflings by imps. While he has a strong opinion of Oracle Hill and what they do, he desperately wants to see his original parents. So much so that he tried to sneak out once. He regretted it.
  
  Jason has been getting more involved in some Oracle Hill volunteer work, helping out with some anonymous fundraising.

  Not too long ago, Harry's original family line finally ended. Immediately after, he entered his grief period for several weeks before being forced to drop his then current body; both to avoid having to grieve, and because the toy was beginning to fall apart. While in his spectral form, he was convinced by a fellow toy monster to join TFINS and find a new family up there.
  
  Harry has since gone on to possess a stuffed spider belonging to 6-year-old Jeffrey Hinges who gave him the name, Harry. Becoming a part of a new family has greatly cheered Harry up and his new job at Oracle Hill as a member of TFINS has kept him busy in his new life.

  Abilities (Spirit/Gaseous form): Toy monsters are spirits, and therefore have immunity to various types of damage while in this form. They also don't feel pain or really anything (emotionally wise) while in this form. They have a purpose, they're able to reason through logic, and whatever moral code they have they still abide by, unless they're presented with a logical argument to do otherwise. They can't interact with anything in this form, and they look like clouds of gas.
  
  Abilities (Toy form): In this form, they have personalities, can feel emotion, all that good stuff. They feel emotional pain, so if a monster were to rip off their toy arm, they'd likely freak out but wouldn't feel any physical pain from it. They're also telepathic, and can speak to each other but not to others. They can whisper good thoughts, and can amplify these thoughts into a weapon, thus rendering their enemy so high with serotonin they lose all grip on reality. They can't create negative thoughts in others, not intentionally. Occasionally, when a favorite child dies or a family moves, they have a grief period where they stay in their toy form and stay lifeless, as if they weren't alive. This brings a negative and "gray" spirit to the room they're in.

  Personality: Harry is a cheerful pessimist. While he always acts fairly upbeat, he always carries a very nervous air about him. A cautious individual, he always expects for things to go wrong in the worst way possible. Harry is slow to trust, but unendingly loyal to those who have gained his trust.
  
  Extra info: Harry values the child he protects and the family they're in more than anything in the world. While Harry's true name is Aesil, he prefers to go by the name given to him by the child he protects

  Description: Maggie is not very subtle about her otherworldly identity, but in these modern times, she barely earns a second look. Her dark skin keeps the same color as her trunk with freckles sprinkled under her hazel eyes and across her nose. She also keeps her hair its natural color with its dark brown roots that lead to a vibrant green. She towers over her colleagues at 6’2” and will not hesitate to wear heels and be even taller. She tends to wear baggy clothes, but it is still easy to see her curvy, muscular form. She enjoys doing makeup so she is rarely seen without it (with the tutorial to match each daily look available on her fairy popular YouTube channel Treet Yourself).

  She bought a painting from Vincent Van Gogh and later received another as a gift
  
  She dated a man named John Kennedy for a few years
  
  She dated a woman named Norma Jeane after that
  
  JFK may have personally asked her to look over and critic his famous Moon speech
  
  She encouraged a young man with the last name Armstrong to further his career and “reach for the stars”
  
  She taught a kid named Tony a few skateboarding tricks
  
  She had a picnic with George and Martha Washington at some point before he because president
  
  She helped start the domestication of wolves because “it was easier than bears”
  
  She led archeologists to the untouched tomb of King Tutankhamen

  Personality:
  It is hard to get a reading on Maggie one way or another. She is almost as mysterious as her past. Not in a film noir kind of way, but in an unpredictable kind of way. There are a few things that everyone who meets her knows for sure. First, she loves puns. She especially loves nature puns and will drop them often. Second, she is absolutely useless at modern technology. Sure, she knows how to operate a Colonial era printing press, but give her a phone or computer and she will not have a single clue how to work it. Her fairy roommate films and edits her YouTube channel for her and will not let her touch any of his equipment since the “Fish Tank Fire Incident of 2017”. Third, on a related note, she has an odd collection of knowledge and skills. She knows how to milk a snake, dye fabrics, book bind, make a wind ornament out of soda cans, pick a lock, sail, and a myriad of other random things that may or may not be useful. Fourth, she loves candy. She keeps a stashes hidden in random places and will often take them out and offer them to those around her whether she knows them or not. Fifth, her memory is notoriously known to be unreliable. She remembers what color the salesperson’s shirt was at the bookstore three week ago, but there is only a one in three chance that she will show up to the movie she invited her roommate to just the day before. She carries a pen on her person (as long as she remembers to grab it) to scribble notes on her hands. It is not unusual to see her hand covered with half words that she swears she knows the meaning of if you will just give her a second to think. Sixth, she is an easy going person, able to go with the flow and get along well with any type of person. However, if something is important to her or she has a gut feeling about something, she will stay rooted so stubbornly that not even a hurricane could move her.
  These six things make up what most people know about her. Some think that this is all there is to her. However, they have absolutely no idea. Maggie is not what she seems.

  A mermaid with dark violet-iridescent-blue scales. Her skin is the same hue, except very very pale (it isn’t like snow white). Her tail is about three fourths of her body length, with a total length of about ten-ish feet, if you measure to the end of her tail and not her fins. She has gill slits on both sides of her neck, but also lungs, and neither function at the same exact time, thank god.
  
  Generally, when in mermaid form, Ava will wear crop-cut t-shirts or muscle-tees, some for bands she’s never heard of.
  Otherwise, she likes flowy half-length or asymmetrical skirts, usually bright cool colours, and again cropped tops, but never very fancy.
  
  Other small notes
  
  Ava has some random scale patches on her upper torso, mostly on her arms.
  
  She doesn’t have fingernails, but not in a gross way. She just doesn’t grow fingernails.
  
  
  She has a large symmetrical tattoo on her upper back, shoulder to shoulder. It’s in white, dark blue and dark purple shades of ink, and of complicated intertwining designs that look almost like Celtic patterns, but too fluid. The whole thing is vaguely reminiscent of waves crashing at sea. This tattoo is enchanted to allow minor shapeshifting and glows when used.

  Sirens are born from violent deaths at sea, mermaids are born, usually on equinoxes or solstices, from peaceful ones.
  Ava was 18 when she died a human. Her whole life she had been rather sick, with an issue with her immune system. Though she knew it wouldn’t happen for her as a career, she was fascinated with marine biology. Mostly from the hospital, she created project after project based on what little was known about marine life and related sciences, and she loved it.
  She caught her death of pneumonia, and everyone knew she wouldn’t recover. She asked to die by the sea. That was in the 1970s.
  
  Ava knows none of this.
  
  As a mermaid, she is immortalized at the age she died, and has lived in the Pacific since, Retaining her love for underwater life. Until humans’ expeditions into the oceans began to disrupt her life. After several close calls, Ava heard of and reached out to Oracle Hill. To live amphibiously, she was supplied with a bit of magic to allow her to shapeshift to a minor degree.

  Breathing, seeing and hearing with clarity underwater, both salt and freshwater. Hydrokinesis, does not extend to cryokinesis or manipulating things with water (blood, etc.) or dehydrating living things.
  
  Abilities not inherent to being a mermaid; at will on land only, Ada can shapeshift into having human legs using the magic woven into her tattoo. She retains all other properties like her hydrokinesis, and technically waterbreathing (‘technically’ is there because if she goes into water waist-deep or deeper she will automatically revert back). She will also retain all other aspects of her appearance; skin, hair and eye colour, a few miscellaneous scaly patches etc. Just like she doesn’t have fingernails, she doesn’t have toenails. In human form, Ava is 5’ 9”.

  Though she can hear clearly underwater, her voice can’t carry. English words, anyway. But most people who aren’t mermaids don’t understand their chatter. So to communicate underwater, Ada learned ASL.
  
  During her sickly human life, Ava was actually assigned male at birth. She began realizing what her discomfort was in her mid-teens, but had neither the health nor time to act much on it. When she died, the sea reincarnated her with a female body, though she dresses and looks androgynous (this is because she cuts her hair short and is quite flat-chested). She does not know this part of her past either.

  Description:
  Monster type: Vampire
  Silent and observant, dark and mysterious, Salem is a lone wolf with a dark past. He tends to keep to himself, as he's got a sharp tongue and a quick wit that can usually do more damage than good. He can come off as arrogant and uninterested, but he knows there is nothing more he needs than people to bring him out of the darkness that he still clings to. Cool and distant, Salem will tend to spit venom at people he feels are coming too close, although this has gotten better throughout his years.

  Salem has traveled different lands and has seen a lot of things in his life. He does not know where he's come from, but fragments of his memories tell him that darkness overwhelmed his past. His mother and father, place of birth, his roots are all a mystery to him. He does not remember what it is like to feel like a child and was never raised to know what the difference was with right and wrong. Growing up, he's always fended for himself in the streets, hunting and feeding in the vilest of ways just to get by. He's lived in uncomfortable and dangerous places, caves and the tops of trees, dark alleyways, etcetera. In his youth, he has discovered the powers of alchemy and has ever since recklessly honed his craft, so that he can build up a more suitable lifestyle. He has invented apples, for example, that can calm his feeding urges, though these have temporary effect on him. Because of these powers, he was able to take residence in a house near a graveyard with a dormant Hell Portal. There he spent his days with his long deceased shapeshifter companion and servant, Cherry B. In the course of his reckless past, he has met a woman, Raven, who has shown him what it is like to know good from bad. She saw something in him that he himself did not see and she's pushed herself in full force onto him, even though he fought hard to push her away. Their passion ended due to a chain of events, that even he himself does not remember. He lost Raven and Cherry in the process and swore never to step foot in that house again. He wandered once more, broken and more aggressive than ever, due to his loss. He felt shards of goodness in him, so queer and new, that he wanted to take care of it, but his loss is too great. In a desperate act, he admitted himself to the rehabilitation wing of Oracle Hill and was soon named one of the most difficult immigration cases they have had, due to rebellious behavior and acts of verbal abuse to the staff. After much deliberation and compromise, Salem is to receive a strict treatment plan that he has come to terms with in exchange for more hours for recreation and freedom to walk around the premises of Oracle Hill, unbothered. Evaluations that followed this agreement have proven positive, as Salem seems to be more compliant and respectable in his own means.
  
  Still in touch with the darkness, Salem felt a strong surge of a Hell Portal calling to him, near Ohio. To him, this did not feel like just any portal; something about it seemed all too familiar, although he can't quite pinpoint it. The whispers around the facility confirmed his doubts, and this piqued his interest even more. He knew going head-on to this portal will destroy him, with his current mental and emotional state, but there is something about that specific portal that has something to do with him, and he wants to know what.

  Alchemy: mixing potions from herbs, both for healing and causing damage. Salem usually comes equipped with herbs and spices he has gathered throughout his years of scavenging, but these have been taken away from him by the staff of the rehabilitation wing.
  
  Invisibility: His silent demeanor makes him blend into his surroundings, making him hard to notice at first. Though he cannot turn invisible, his person can shift in and out of other people's focus (for example, stalking to another side of the room, while the attention isn't on him), giving the person an "out of sight, out of mind" feeling (people forget that he was in the room in the first place).
  
  Stabilized feeding urge: Growing up fending for himself, Salem has become the master of his own feeding urges. He goes by apples or sweets processed with alchemy to tame these urges. Instead of stealing liters of blood to sustain himself, he uses a few drops of blood per apple or sweet and binds it in such a way that his body gets enough blood per bite. The staff of the rehabilitation wing found this form of feeding interesting and further studies are being carried to see if this means of feeding is a good alternative, though there are still doubts from staff members, such as the health benefits the processed food gives and the risk of relapsing to older, more dangerous means of feeding, if this form proves insufficient.

  Advice that Raven would probably give to anyone who comes in contact with Salem is to never be intimidated, and to look past his insults and anti-social behaviour. Taking responsibility for his actions is still something he has to learn, and needs to be reminded by this at times. The staff at Oracle Hill have learned the hard way that as long as Salem is treated with respect and is seen as an independent and capable being, in his own avant-garde ways, he can be a helpful addition to any group. He is compliant and polite in his good days, but can get aggressive in his bad days. He is intelligent, aware and resourceful. In group activities, he tends to do his own thing, but listens and observes before taking part. Salem is strong-willed and will fight to get what he wants, in whatever means necessary. He can be impulsive and seductive at times, but he is learning to keep these traits at bay. Patience, constant initiative from others, respect and being the bigger man; these are things that can feed a good relationship with Salem.
