Ok, so my idea has to do with telepathic storytelling, I’d be playing a character who has a broad imagination, and at this time and place they have developed a way for people to directly transmit they’re imaginings or “mental stories” directly to the minds of their “listeners”. They are widely hailed as “Mental wizards” for their ability to produce vivid mental landscapes and stories that keep their “listeners” entranced. The problem is, people have gotten to reliant on the stories and ideas that the “wizards” have dreamed up, that they aren’t living anymore. They don’t have dreams of their own. My character will be a “wizard” who is not quite comfortable with her job anymore, but is not allowed to pursue anything else.
