Name: Melody (Mel) Cain

Bio: Mel was born to a very successful businessman and his dancer wife, they seemed to be a fairly normal family. Her mom would put a lot of pressure on her to be successful at something and to overachieve which was a rather stressful thing to put on her. She was her dad's pride and joy, the two were very close despite him gone a lot.

When Mel was about 15, her dad was killed and it was very traumatic for her as she was left alone with an unstable mother she was never good enough for. Because of how smart she was, Mel graduated high school at 17 and college at 19. She now works as a nurse and a journalist in order to get the truth out there. Mel works so much, she doesn’t have a whole lot of friends or much time to date. She is still forced to see her mom more than she would like.​

Despite often forgetting to eat, he loves good food and is grateful for mostly anything that is edible.

His attention span is rather limited and unless directly impacted by the contents, he neglects it entirely.

Growing up, he was close with his sisters and mother. He usually offers women a higher tolerance of patience and respect than men.
- Emotional Expression
Guard always high, and constantly keeping his own emotions in check; bearing witness to the emotions of others becomes awkward and uncomfortable.

Personality Traits
Cynical
While in front of others , he may appear put together and charming but in private he is meticulous and often brooding over thoughts.
“Gift of the Gab”
He can charm himself out of most situations and has learned the best ways to smooth over most personalities. Manipulation is always preferable to outright murder.
Loyal
His position is built on numerous chains of trust, or more so other people’s trust in him. Severe trust issues were heightened after his elder brother was killed in a drive-by shooting, as a result, he usually only sees others as a means to an end. That being said, he does everything in his power to uphold promises and always keeps his word.
Courageous
Or at least in some manner of the word. However, this mainly comes from being reckless with his own life. He’s confident in his ability to hold his end in a fight and despite everything- worries for the safety of others. As a rule, he never expects others to do anything that he wouldn’t do for them.

Notes
- His face is scattered with beauty marks.
- Any tattoos or piercings are less so about vanity, and more a form of self-inflicted punishment.
- If he can help it, he is always clean-shaven and ensures his attire is spotless. He associates his good presentation with the success of the business.
- He is now an orphan despite starting with a sizeable family. His family once consisted of his mother (who died during childbirth), father (murdered), elder brother (murdered), elder sister (died from drug overuse) and younger sister (committed suicide). He is mostly at peace with his family’s deaths but the fact that he was never intended to succeed his father, offers a small inferiority complex. In his eyes, he often sees himself as an imposter and knows that he would never live up to the values or reputation of his older siblings.
