*OPERATION NINJA*
A Power Rangers RP
Setting: New Corinth, USA
Story: Years ago, a computer virus was accidentally released into the world by a prodigious child as a means of escaping captivity from a morally corrupt top-secret government operation that focused on various military applications. That same virus infected the entire world, putting fear into the hearts of the human race while manufacturing a machine-based evil empire that overtook the world. In due time, humanity managed to fight back, constructing a team of super-powered individuals known as the Power Rangers. Through courage, strength and unity, the Power Rangers were able to defeat the virus known as Venjix and restore peace and order while purifying our world.
Or so they thought...
Several years later, the world has been revitalized and reborn. What was once several deserted areas has now shifted into flourishing cities, perhaps even better than before the virus infected the world. Of course, the world still has its issues, but if humanity was able to survive the Venjix virus from so long ago, the threat of anything else seems small in comparison. The only thing there was to do now was for each person to discover his or her individual purpose in this world in order to make it a better place.
Unfortunately, the threat of the virus from years ago wasn't completely eradicated, biding its time until the perfect opportunity to strike the world once again. When the threat of the virus returns, it's up to a group of individuals to band together, despite their differences, and take down the virus once and for all.

Notes:
1. I want to keep this RP has low maintenance as possible! What I mean by that is I'm trying to not have too many people in the RP as it makes it difficult for me to keep track of everything. I'm aiming to have a small group of roleplayers, so only the current Ranger roles above are available (I'm aware that there are other Rangers in Ninninger/Ninja Steel, but for now I'm keeping it at five. Please don't ask about other roles not listed).
2. The RP itself is not first-come, first-serve. There is no "reserving" of roles, but you are welcome to fill out a character sheet. I will ultimately pick the characters I like the most based on the application itself and the RP sample that you guys send to me via PM.
3. You can apply for up to two characters, if you are able to handle that.
4. In regards to the setting, it's very similar to how society is now (sports, entertainment, technology, etc.). So don't be too threatened by the lore. Keep it as simple as possible!
5. Any questions that are not answered in these notes, please send them to me via PM or in the OOC thread.
