Welcome to the "Warriors: Coming Storm" Lore Thread. In this thread you can find information about the various clans and locations in this rp. Most NPCs will have brief descriptions of their personalities, but all leaders and medicine cats have slightly more detailed information. This thread will update relatively often as the story progresses so make sure to check back from time to time.

Summit Clan Territory​

Summit Clan resides on the northern riverside on the ascending slopes of a mountain. Due to the steep terrains of the territory the clan have learned to become very coordinated to avoid deaths through falling. The scarcity of usual foliage for prey to hide means the clan’s primary food source are large birds and whatever small creatures they can find. Occasionally they will descend to the lower reaches of their territory to fish, but few have luck at the stream. The clan home resides on a grouping of flat rises where the mountain’s side is not so steep. There is also a cave on the top rise that serves as the gathering place and dens for the leader and medicine cat. Further up the mountain in the territory resides another flat rise that the medicine cats of the clan use for their once a moon gathering. The rise is called Moon Reach Summit and is a sacred space only medicine cats, their apprentices, and newly appointed leaders may enter.

Bush Clan Territory
​

The Bush Clan territory is a small forest on the western lakeside. Within the forest are a few unique landmarks the clan frequents for various reasons. A small field with a large rock in the center serves as a training grounds for apprentices. Beyond that lies a stream serving as the primary water source for the clan along with an abundance of moss nearby. To the north of the clan’s home lies an old oak tree where the clan buries their dead. The southern areas of the forest are the primary hunting grounds with abundant prey.

Reef Clan Territory
​

The Reef Clan territory is on the eastern lakeside and has a river that branches off into several smaller streams throughout the territory. The clan’s home is situated between two of the larger streams where rival clans would have to swim across, a skill the other clans are less efficient at. Due to the unique lands the clan are proficient swimmers and fishers. They also coat their fur in mud during the summers to prevent from overheating in their mostly exposed territory.

Crag Clan Territory
​

The Crag Clan territories lie to the south of the lakeside near an abandoned rock quarry. The territory itself is partially swamp and forest so the clan has learned to adapt to the different terrains. The clan home rests within the rock quarry in a section where a thick covering of bushes overhead has made caves of sorts in which they make their dens. The clan utilizes the safety of the forested area in dire times, moving the whole clan camp in emergencies to a grove in the small thicket.

Weydwell Lake
​

Weydwell lake is a peculiar region with no outstanding history. A rock quarry was frequently used in the past for construction of the nearby town. Since then it has been abandoned and the wilds have taken over once more. The current residents have taken quite a liking to the place and have been around for dozens of generations. As times have changed, so have the territories, becoming what they are today. An abandoned cabin between Bush Clan and Crag Clan territories serves as the place for the Gathering. The clans have named the place The Great Den. Within Summit Clan territory lies a high rise called Moon Reach Summit and is a sacred space only medicine cats, their apprentices, and newly appointed leaders may enter. Those travelling there are granted safety of passage through the clan territory.
