Nevina Hey there! Was looking to enter the giveaway. I wrote a scene with my character from the RWBY RP, but it ended up being quite long. Is the 100 word limit a rule, or is it okay if we go over?

You can go a couple words over if you need, but try to aim for the 100 as best you can! It's mostly so it doesn't take me too long to read through everything XD

A young blonde, barely older than seventeen, sat across from his father with a bright smile. "Got into Beacon, Dad. Teachers said I was lucky, but I think they're just annoyed that I got accepted. They were never really fans, y'know?." Corvo shook his head in bewilderment. "Life's too short, you have to enjoy it was much as you can." He sat there, silent for a while. With a sigh, he pushed himself up from the ground and grabbed a blackish-red flower from his bag. "Say hi to mom for me, yeah?" He placed it down in front of the stone inscribed with his father's name. With that, he turned towards the nearest pathway and headed home with a smile on his face.

A broken sword stuck in the ground, like a reminder of some past battle. The boy found himself drawn to this place time and again, but could not explain why. Just looking at the blade made something stir in his heart, something close to sadness. One day he found courage to touch the tip of the blade, curiousity took over.
"If your wish is granted, it will be the end of everything. Are you sure?"
A shy smile. A soft touch. Tear-filled blue eyes of a blonde girl. The whole world in exchange for one life.
"Yes."
A distant memory.

He was used to it, the distance that separate them, the memories that bound them together and as he stood atop of the mountain his childhood friend had claimed as his second home; in the raging white flurry of blizzard, his emerald hues caught the attention of wide crimson ones.

Just a few meters away stood a boy clad in red with that same stupid worn out cap.

“RED!” Green shouted in desperate hope for it to reach the other and he couldn’t hide the smile of relief the moment the boy with said name began to run towards him.

Okay, here it goes! It involves Pokemon .

Many ominous clouds pestered the sun’s rays. Even though it was midday, it seemed midnight. Kayrana walked right into the forest. A little girl as she was, she headed down the many paths of trees, following birds and squirrels alike, as well as a Sentret and then a HootHoot that left her in a place she longer knew. She looked around and saw only trees, their treetops seemed endless. The vast forest was like a never-ending labyrinth to her. The gentle breeze tried to mask the gloominess of the atmosphere. But Kayrana, tired of running and looking, slumped herself down on a pile of leaves. She closed her eyes—Ah! And all of a sudden, she was back at the start. But this wasn’t a déjà vu: a Ralts was at her side now, smiling at the teary-eyed little girl. The Ralts held Kayrana’s hand and they went back to her home. She was her first friend.
