If you have a problem with my faction you should look at Caesar's Legion.
Though I don't agree with certain aspects of the faction, most of it is legit.

Yeah but approx 50% of his population being military forces means that he'll spend more time farming to keep his nation fed than developing anything. Unless he's going to greatly lower the quality of his troops to the pre-marian times of farmer warrior levies. In that case, his armed forces will be as effective as Soviet conscripts where one man carries a rifle and one man carries the 5-round clip
Don't tell me you buy into COD Finest Hour's intro. Sure, there were equipment shortages, but that only really occurred in a few select situations. I suggested to him having bows, crossbows, and other projectile weapons that didn't involve bullets, but apparently somehow he has enough scavenged 9mm pistols to ensure everyone has one.
I'm sure he'll be able to mass produce plenty of weapons but the question is how he plans to keep his country running if he's seriously considering having 50% of the population mobilized for war
If anyone is fucked, its me for starting with a volunteer army
Its fine. It means his entire nation is always about two weeks away from complete and utter collapse during the best of times.

That would sure suck if someone poisoned the Mississippi
But anyway, what do you think about my faction and it's military?
His faction isn't even close to the Mississippi. Do you even geography?
I like that it's modest as not to include half of its population in its military
He's red...nevermind
No, but seriously, I want to know.
American Geography is not Geography.
Its unnecessary trivia
Your country probably is called Suckistan.
HAIL BRITANNIA
Oh yeah. You're the country we kicked the ass of and bailed out twice during both World Wars.
No, but seriously, I want to know.
France beat us for you.
We could have survived indefinitely in both wars. It was France that needed your help.
Therefor. Blame France for USA and both World Wars... Silly France
Oh yeah. Totally believe you. It wasn't like Yorktown was indefensible and the British fleet weren't going to arrive in time to help, or Germany would've been the one making the demands if doughboys didn't cut up the krauts like swiss cheese. That's crazy talk.
Its pretty well agreed that in WW2 Britain was not going to be invaded after the Battle of Britain. I mean Hitler loved us anyway.
Well 85,000 total personnel with about 6% in specialized forces. No clearly stated method of organization or distribution of equipment throughout standard infantry units but I'm sure there is one somewhere.
Having fought two recent wars, there's clearly some sense of veteran-ship within the military which is good and useful.
A cavalry regiment with no clearly defined "cavalry" which could prove threatening accept for the fact that you did not include such IFVs or APCs but implied that they were horse-mounted which could prove unconventional but perhaps useful
A single battalion of recon forces for what would amount to a field army...okay then
A "Heavy Infantry" designated and either separate or integrated force for managing the use of power armor within the field would be an interesting aspect of the military but may prove fruitless when matched against more mobile forces in a defensive campaign.
Rangers...which are - in theory - heavy infantry without power armor...and in your case without vehicle support light infantry.
No designated air wing, no medical force, no logistical force
I look forward to meeting you on the field of battle whether with or against you
He has a point. The Battle of Britain ended in October 1940
I have a photo of horses above the cavalry. And I did say that the military section would mostly just show the basic categories and show notable units. The medics and logistics would fall under the trooper category. The 1st Reconnaissance is one of those notable units, not just the only Reconnaissance group we have. There also aren't many vehicles in the Fallout universe.
