About Me
Hi! I'm BlankSlate, but you can call me Luca if my name seems too long, strange, or whatever else. I'm new to this site but far from new to the world of forum roleplaying. Currently a student aiming for a major in Criminal Justice, but my secret passion has always been writing. Being a student athlete, I can get a bit busy, however, I pride myself on still being able to get at least 1 post a day finished (more if I'm super interested in the topic).
What I'm Looking For
I consider myself a high casual to low detailed writer, and I'm searching for someone who feels they can match that. More specifically I have conjured up a short checklist you can scroll through to see if we'll make a good pair.
Side note: I can role play through PMs, threads, or even email. Nothing else though and I'm not comfortable giving out chatting platform information.
Pairings
Disclaimer: I'm ok with doing pairings, but I'd like to work out some sort of plot first.
Another heads up: I'm ok with all kinds of gender match ups but I typically do MxM. Also, I play any gender.
I really want to do this pairing.
Plots
Runaway Birdie
Character A has never lived an ideal life. It seems they were doomed to suffer through instance after instance of bad luck. One day, A has finally had enough and they runaway, hitchhiking across the country and hoping to find a new and better life. Eventually (after nearly a year), A learns how to survive on the streets, and how to live this new life. Everyday is the same, and A even has a new name and look so they can't be found. Until one day they run into B, someone from their past life. What happens now is in B's hands.
Hard Decisions
Character A has been a part of the gang for as long as they can remember. They understand the importance of the drug trade, and what happens to people who pose a threat to what has become like a family to them. A has been told time after time that it's not a good idea to become romantically involved with someone, but they fall for B anyways. The gang leader wants to make a lesson out of A, and demands that they kill B.
Why Can't You Sit Still?
Character A makes their living by painting portraits of people. This is a business that is going out of style fast, considering people find it easier to simply get a picture taken. A is typically employed by rich people who want a painting of the person who will be the next head of house. Character B is the son of a billionaire, soon to be heir to his family's fortune. Character A is commissioned to create his portrait, and they form an unlikely friendship.
Taken
Character A and Character B are total strangers who have never crossed paths in their lives. One day they both wake up in a strange, bare room handcuffed together with no memory of the previous night. Can they find their way out before it's too late?
The Man of My Dreams
For all their life, Character A has had reoccurring nightmares where a stranger gets hit by a bus and they are too late to help. What happens when one day the situation unfold in real life just as it did in the dreams, and Character A pulls Character B out of harms way just in time?

I consider myself a high casual to low detailed writer, and I'm searching for someone who feels they can match that. More specifically I have conjured up a short checklist you can scroll through to see if we'll make a good pair.
- At least 5 paragraphs per post. In my mind a paragraph is 6 well written sentences or approx. 100 words.
- Interested in world/setting building. Some plots/pairing will require a lot less of this, but I do want someone willing to explore what our characters' worlds are like.
- Patience would be nice. Please don't expect me to reply 10 minutes after you've replied. A well thought out reply can take time. That being said, if I don't reply within 24 hours, don't hesitate to poke me and make sure I haven't forgotten.
- Character sheets are a must. Sorry, I'm probably going to lose a few people here but character building is my favorite part of the roleplay. Of course, we can chat about what needs to go on the sheet, but typically name, age, history, and personality are the bare minimums.
- Communication is key. If you hate the plot, tell me. If you're going to be gone for a while, tell me. If you want to drop all together you don't have to tell me but I'll assume after 2 weeks of no word from you.
- OOC chat isn't required, but I like getting to know my writing partners. I'm expecting to find at least a few long term partners from this.
Side note: I can role play through PMs, threads, or even email. Nothing else though and I'm not comfortable giving out chatting platform information.
