Personality: Brannon is pretty steadfast person. He doesn't care if people like him or hate him for what he does and he has a high level of confidence in himself, despite being flawed in various ways. This trait of his is the reason why people feel that he is a trustworthy person. He is normally seem to be up in the clouds and without a care in the world. He often displays himself as a cool-headed, though lazy and bored individual. Brennon is pessimistic, believing that "heroes" do not exist; rather, he believes that surviving in the world would only come out of the individual's own luck.


Bio: He was originally born in England to a English women and a American father. He lived in England until he was five when his mother passed away after being diagnosed with fatal familial insomnia eighteen month before, His father felt like a change of scenery may help so they moved to America to his father hometown of Manhattan where the first thing Brennon saw was a billboard saying Welcome to Manhattan! He has been living in Manhattan ever since.

Bio:Carter seems like any normal teenager. Except that he is sometimes a she. Carter realized that he was Bigender at the age of 11. Sometimes he is a male, sometimes he is Female. But he still looks like a boy, just chooses to be called a she on somedays. His voice is androgynous, so if people heard him without seeing him, they wouldn't know. His parents accept him as well as his whole family. He isn't really popular at school, but people know who he is. He was born in England, but he was brought to America at the age of 2, so he didn't pick up much, just the accent.

(Percy has long dark brown dread locks. She is very skinny, having mental disorders concerning this, but she stands at a decent height. Her skin is pale, and she wears whatever she finds comfortable, not really concerned about how her appearance in seen by others. Percy also has gray eyes with freckles sprinkled beneath them.)

Personality: Percy is an odd person, even for a teenager. She has extreme social anxiety, so when she is around many people she is not used to, she squeaks and makes animal noises instead of speaking. She is very interested in studying people and studying their every move. She often bursts into fits of laughter, rarely giving explanations as to why. When Percy speaks she is kind and innocent, and her voice is very soft spoken. She is never really angry, but she can get frustrated and upset. She hates having too much attention on her, and she is typically timid about trusting anyone. Once she feels someone is comfortable with who she is, though, her nerves settle, so she can be an interesting conversationalist and a risk-taker. She loves to explore and discover what life is all about. Percy is also very artistic and intelligent in school; she makes excellent grades and can make just about anything into an unique art form.


Bio: Percy is in foster care, and she has been in several different homes, influencing her not to make close friends. However, she has been with her current family for almost two years now. Her last home was in a small town, so she was first frightened to hear "Welcome to Manhattan." She does not really know anything about her family or such, having been in the system since she was only three. Her age and mental conditions make her current home a miracle. The family of four (a mother, father, and twin 8-year-old boys) is wealthy and seems to actually enjoy her company. They allow Percy to have as much freedom as she can handle, but they restrict her if she is not responsible. She is comfortable with them, but she is still expecting to be sent away if they find out how strange she is. Her mental disorders will be exposes by signs of them in the roleplay.


Talent: As said in the personality section, Percy is skilled at art and academics. She also has a love for reading; though it may not be a skill, the teen can read through several books by the end of the school day.

Social Group: None. Percy in one of the freaks in the school that people avoid and ignore.


Other: Percy typically wears guy clothing. She has taught herself to read and write in fluent Japanese, but she keeps this to herself. She also has a love for animals, especially cats, so she often paints cat whiskers on her cheeks. PM me if you need/want to know anything else about Percy.

Who am I?

"Jinkies, dude."

Tanner has some issues. He's a shy, sweet person at heart. He has a hard time trusting folks, but is a very loyal person to those who do earn it. That being said, it'd be wise to note that if he or anyone he loves is crossed, he can become an ice king. Don't ask him about the past, it haunts him. He knows there are good people in the world, but for some reason he just can't see himself as one of them.


Tanner has a knack for creating beautiful things...though he can get lost in his own little worlds he creates. His pencil and paper always were the best way of getting away from all his problems...and his memories.


Indulges in the habitual use of the Leaf. Not because it's fun, but because it makes him feel free. Like a hummingbird.

My Story?

"You never know how much you love someone until your looking at their casket."

With no father or siblings, Tanner only had his Mom to depend on. There was nothing he wouldn't do for her. Everything changed when she was diagnosed with brain cancer. The comfortable life he had always known was shattered, and with his innocence gone he stepped up to take care of the woman who had taken care of him since he was a born. She went into remission and everything seemed to be fine.


So, when she passed away due to an aneurysm, he took it hard.


He was resigned to live with Uncle Marty; a sleazy man with foul intentions for the relationship. The man who seemed to be good and whole-hearted was actually cruel and sociopathic. Tanner didn't know much about sex, until Uncle Marty taught him. Tanner didn't know about drugs and how they could leave you defenseless. Uncle Marty didn't hesitate to teach him that lesson. Tanner didn't know how to fight back. Uncle Marty thought he never would.


How he was so wrong.


After four years of verbal and physical abuse, Tanner finally emancipated himself from the last relative he knew of. Amazingly, Tanner kept his grades up even with all the darkness he had to face in his own home. But finishing high-school was stressful ,and with graduation on the way he realized there was no plan for him to follow through on. His junior year had droned by as he bused tables in a local diner. Life became repetitious. He needed an escape.

Tanner does tattoos for extra cash...and he can roll one up pretty nicely as well.

Personality: Nadia is an extroverted, adventurous girl who's unafraid to try new things and get out of her comfort zone. She's absolutely shameless and is rarely ever embarrassed or humiliated by her own actions (she's the kind of person who would strip in front of you without a second thought). This helps her to dance well, and dancing is really her mode of expression. She does also tend to be impulsive, however, due to her lack of regard for consequences. This type of spur of the moment decision making doesn't always suit her so well, but she takes the consequences in stride and applauds herself for pushing the limits of her comfort zone. Nadia can be very assertive, which makes working with other people a little easier for her, as there's no such thing as an awkward silence in a conversation. When she feels like it, she can be very flirty, affectionate, cuddly, etc. but often, these things don't carry the same meaning for her as they would for other people. Which has also gotten her into trouble in the past (angry exes or one-night stands come to mind). Nadia can also hold a grudge with the best of them. If someone has deliberately, personally wronged her, Nadia will not restrain her anger, and overcoming it is nearly unheard of. Nadia appreciates the beauty in things, and so those kind of intentional acts vex her to no end. In the end, though, she's not vindictive or vengeful, just angry - plain and simple.


Bio: Nadia was born to a well-off, Christian father and an easygoing French mother. She was their second child, after another son, Jason, who was six years older and resented her from the very beginning. He was his father's pride and joy, and Nadia was her mother's. Jason bullied her up until he died in a car accident when he was twelve and Nadia six. For a while, Nadia struggled with post traumatic stress from the incident, while her father too grew to resent her (to the point where he would deliberately put her in danger, but he never actually physically harmed her himself). The Penley household became a tense battlefield, even more so as Nadia grew older. When Nadia was ten, her parents had another baby boy, Samuel. Her father, mostly out of spite for Nadia, grew to love Samuel. As Nadia struggled with puberty and school, Samuel was spoiled with lavish gifts and trips that somehow, Nadia was never invited to. Her mother, a skittish, passive woman, supported Nadia with all her heart, but she had a demanding husband and a young child to attend to as well. For her part, Nadia found comfort in other people. The more time she spent outside of the house, the more relaxed the rest of her family was. Except for Samuel who, by the time Nadia was in high school, absolutely adored and idolized his older sister, much to their father's displeasure. During her junior year of high school, Nadia narrowed her focus. She was interested more in creativity, in dancing and expression. During this time she met a girl named Jill, a painter, and fell for her (her father never found out, but Samuel and her mother were perfectly happy for her). The two maintained a good relationship for a year, until Jill felt too constrained and brusquely dumped Nadia. Heartbroken and angry, Nadia changed schools after the year ended, leaving her a new student during her senior year of high school.


Talent: Dancing, creative writing; she has an interest in learning how to draw realistically


Social Group: None yet, she's new, but she leans towards artsier people


Other: Welcome to Manhattan! Speaks French fluently, loves animated movies and foreign languages, loud music, and hookups; she doesn't like math or perfume. She treats her sexuality as a fluid thing, and will not give a definitive answer when asked about it. She's passing school, though not with flying colors, as she has less interest in academics. Personality: He's quite laid back, not one to make a scene. He's actually quite a pessimist, borderline depressed,Lee doesn't like making new friends since he always thinks they'll leave him.


Bio: Lee was born and raised in Texas, he grew up in an instrument shop which doubled as his family's house. He was always interested in keyboards and synths and such. He eventually made his way into a certain school in Manhattan with his musical talent.


Talent: Lee's very skilled at keyboards and pianos, not to mention he has an ok singing voice.


Appearance: Lee loves jackets, more preferably field jackets. If you see him without a jacket, they must be in the wash or he's going through a heavy-depression period, he has those occasionally.
