“You thought it was DIO, but it was me, SUNDAY!!”
Lore: This is an alternate universe to the One Piece we all know and love. In this universe, the “Great Pirate Era” was never a thing. In this universe, our favorite characters do not exist, only the predecessors of our beloved characters. One day, a mysterious giant egg hatched on a fated ship.. releasing an infection with it, infecting all of the people on the Oro Jackson. The infection corrupted their minds and bodies.. however two kids were able to fight off the infection. Shanks and Buggy, two apprentice pirates on Roger’s ship, flee in a small lifeboat. The two kids ended up surviving for months, Shanks constantly jumping out of the lifeboat in search of food. Eventually, both boys ran onto a sea monster. They paddled the lifeboat, tenaciously trying to flee from the sea monster. Eventually, Buggy fell in the water, and started to drown. The sea monster charged for Buggy. Shanks had to make a decision.. save Buggy and be possible dinner or leave Buggy to die. In this moment, Shanks awakened his conquerors haki and jumped into the water, saving Buggy by just a couple seconds. Shanks threw Buggy into the lifeboat, but the sea monster woke up. Shanks and the sea monster traded blows, and Shanks eventually lost an arm. Shanks was able to get back onto their boat and paddle to a nearby island. The two boys told everyone of their experience, and suddenly, a building collapsed. The townspeople were all confused, until they saw a Roger Pirates member, Scopper Gaban. Scopper went on a rampage, infecting the entire town except for Shanks, Buggy, and a few survivors. Together, the survivors sailed to an island and created an organization with the goal of curing all of the infected. Eventually.. the word got out to the world, and the infected dispersed. The infected all developed similar traits, such as red hair and claws. Every infected was unique though, as infected would have a combination of different traits, and no two infected has the same traits. The infected eventually gained consciousness, creating their own elite race and organization, who’s only goal is to take down humans and make them a part of their race. However, the organization of humans has found out that some humans have immunity from the infection. In the next couple of years, the organization grows into a huge deal, and includes some of the world’s greatest scientists. The organization is led by Shanks and Buggy, and is called “The Purifers”. The organization of infected are known as the “Sickly” and are led by Gold Roger. Will you be a powerful infected, or try and stop it?
