Hello Everyone, just before I get to the character sheet I want to get to a couple rules for character creation. First of all I like everything in paragraph format unless its something you want to add in yourself or when I ask you like for a list of moves, this is just a preference of mine when I read through character sheets, they don't have to be long just I don't like bullet points and jot notes. For devil fruits Pm with a devil fruit application form or include it on your cs with out adding the abilities in or related back story details, this is just because if I cant accept it for some reason, like if we have too many characters with devil fruits at the time, that I can give it as a reward later or if someone with a devil fruit quits and your the next person in line for one I can give it to you, if it is accepted of course. Additionally if you want your character to have been involved with a warlord, emperor, or high ranking marine in any way message me first, we can work out the details of that npc together, I'm pretty flexible on that. Right now I only have the capacity for one character per player, but if I find a suitable gm or gms to run a second or third crew that will allow players a little more freedom over how many characters they have, sorry for the limit right now, I hope I can find another gm so that we can expand. Also for devil fruits not many have applied for them yet so there is no limit set to how many there will be per crew yet, however I ask that in the future if I can allow multiple characters per person that you only have one per person, to allow for others joining to have a chance to get one. Other than that have fun!

Name: Rob Lennon, but he goes by Roach.

Personality: Roach is enigmatic and hard to read. Looking upon him, it is impossible to grasp his true ‘face’. Little to no information about who he is as a person is given away. But what is evident to those who encounter him, is his unbreakable will. It would be easier to kill him then to make him surrender. He also seems to be a little clumsy, and comically unlucky.

Backstory: Roach was a former member of the Revolutionary Army. During the Takoyaki island uprising, of the 248 brave revolutionaries who fought for the islands freedom... There were no survivors. The battle was a valiant, but onesided slaughter. The revolutionaries fought to the grave. But something happened. Two men, whose hearts had stopped, came back to life. This was not an impossible miracle, coming back from clinical death is possible but this strange and unlikely event was like the work of fate. These two men found themselves at a crossroads. One inherited the dead revolutionaries desire for peace, the other inherited the hatred of the dying.

Aspiration: to finish some 'unfinished business' and finally go home to his family. (His family think he's dead...)

Abilities:
Roach can't bring himself to hurt others. He's not a pacifist per se, and believes there are some problems only violence can solve. He just can't bring himself to harm another person anymore, even if he tries he just can't muster any strength. This has caused him to develop a bizarre form of fighting... If it can really be called that. Roach challenges foes to battles of endurance, allowing enemies to beat on him one-sidedly without fighting back until they give up when they realize he just won't stay down. Needless to say, his endurance is impressive. Roach, being a somewhat stone-faced man, often has trouble conveying his feelings. Because of this he picked up the guitar in order to share his soul. He also picked up some skill in stealth and espionage from his time with the Revolutionaries.

The enigmatic female who breaks through the calming deceptions forced upon her for the majority of her life in favor of the reality regardless of the comfort the prior may have brought. When asked regarding her past she may be included fragments of truth through a combination of the trauma, prolonged exposure indoctrinations, and feelings on such often result in somewhat unreliable answers. Calm, Blunt, Sassy, and with a Dry sharp wit they are never the less friendly overall to those she is familiar with yet this will not prevent her from pointing out several uncomfortable truths when needed.

The main ideal that appears to move her forward is both her desire for freedom and that of others, wishing to shatter false realities or deceptions as she challenges others to do the same to her in a somewhat hypocritical nature. Her main goal, however, appears to find a method to orchestrate the downfall of the world government due to its part in not only her past but many others, spreading truths and shattering the false image they have built for themselves.

As a result, she is far more likely to attack authority figures she judges as unfair or corrupt to those they lord over yet wishing to avoid permanently harming those who are simply misled by these deceptions. She also holds severe reservations about attacking those who have not provoked such or fellow doctors doing their work regardless of who for. Even to her crew, she has allowed them to believe numerous false things, some outlandish though often with ways of convincing or backing them up, such as the belief that she does, in fact, eat brains.

For a Hobbie she finds herself drawn to several in particular outside her obvious profession, a keen admirer of unconventional music, puzzles and taxidermy with the later also extending to other matters of preservation. She also does hold several more confusing items within her quarters such as flowers, salt, and strawberries given them a look of distaste yet still having them around causing a great deal of confusion as to why.

Appearance:
On the surface, Jane often appears as a quiet, dark, and solemn individual with their feelings locked behind a passive face. Though it is her eyes that appear to captivate, always looking and burning with intensity like twin sapphires in the night. Loose locks of golden blonde hair flow downwards though the majority of which is secured in a long braided tail, a stark contrast to the pale marble-like skin seemingly absent of any blemish with exception of red vein-like markings that snake across her form. Despite her relatively short stature, this she still holds a deceptive amount of muscle and although at times can come across as tomboyish or delinquent, it is still clear she places exceptional care into her appearance.

Normally clad in dark colors that contrast with her skin, they are never the less well made with many custom designs often with some form of iconography, never seeming to wear the same outfit twice and a good number of them appearing as if new. Jane carries herself with care and purpose, displaying a great deal of confidence in their stance each step and movement seemingly well placed and with thought, efficient and simple. The same can be said with her speech, a low yet firm tone with little obvious emotive inflection, though there can be found small undercurrents of curiosity, annoyance, or interest depending on the topic in question. Finally, there are a number of abnormalities clearly visible if someone would take the time to look, most notably the absence of any particular breathing outside of her taking breaths prior to speaking, the lower temperature of her skin at rest and should her mouth open a number of sharper teeth than would be expected.


Backstory:
Deep within the edges of the grand line rests the reportedly idyllic island settlement of Kikutaru, a brimming production hub for the world government without a care in the world as they live content lives to produce important compounds for the vital peacekeeping missions of the noble marines. From the colorful characters to vibrant and shining spires this idealized city is believed to be the example of the ideal life the world government seeks to bring about, receiving glowing reviews from its natives to the point so many seek to join the community and nay a person wishes to leave resulting in the location boasting the highest population density per square meter of any island under the control of the world government. Another more important draw to the island is said to be the healthcare provided to its citizens with a 100% satisfaction rating, the cornerstone of such is the mandatory medicinal supplement "Bliss", from the outside and to the majority of those within the existence can be described as little other than perfect, and those who disagree? well, they are simple downers that need to get cheered up at one of the many centers for such.

Peel back the pretty facade however and the true nature and state of the island are revealed to be the polar opposite, factory atop factory intent on cramming as much as possible into with living spaces a vague afterthought, the higher management would receive accommodations at the upper levels of the city with the workers down below and those unable to work or escaped trapped below the bowels to suffer the seeping emissions, collapses and all manner of other atrocities in the crime-filled underbelly as the Scraps. The outer rims of the city were devoted to supplying pipes with any previous vegetation or wildlife either drastically mutated from the chemical runoffs if not killed altogether by the contaminated wasteland. this meant leaving the city was not an option outside the arranged transports reserved for bringing in new citizens or escorting the "upper management" out when required.

In any other settlement, the conditions would have already started an uprising or some other manner of mass riot conflicting with the authority, yet this was avoided with the implementation of the mandatory Bliss. Regular intake of the medication resulted in drastically altered perceptions and compliance of the population along with a smile on every face, seeing the idyllic life of sunshine and rainbows the island was reported to be to the rest of the world, while the "downers" who refused to take such would quickly be revealed as they discovered the truth and taken away for "harsh" and unconventional treatment. That is to say, simply refusing to take such was more difficult than it seemed with the highly addictive nature as well as the infusion of such into the water supply. The source and key component in the Bliss was a plant that had once grown wild on the island though now incubated artificially, The "Grinning Garland" a powerful hallucinogenic with several other properties for which it was also exported for other purposes after the dangerous task of cultivating and farming it on mass was conducted by the locals. All this and more was made possible by the most prominent controller of the island Samara Darlington known to her people as "Darling Auntie" but to the rest of the world as simply "The Wall".

This woman was primarily the Head of the Division Black of Marine Biological Research. A cruel and methodical logical woman responsible for the cataloging and transport of numerous rare compounds for use by the various other Branches, this also included administering and securing of test sites such as Kikitaru Island. She holds little value in the concepts of past loyalties or bounds being a realist through and through seeking efficiency and results regardless, in her pursuit of "Ordered Justice" she has displayed an unrelenting and aggressive drive. A frightening intelligence she has shined primarily in the organizational and logistical management of the book projects but also in political science. Strangely has been noted to appear in multiple locations seemingly simultaneously, which had aided her in keeping tight control over her purview.

It is this island that Jane would be born into the same "idyllic" life of its many other occupants, those born upon the island far more confined and controlled by its nature is the only world they had ever known making rejection far more difficult. So in relative terms, Jane would group up "Happily" spending her time in the communal nurseries, seeing her parents for a whole hour every week and learning all about the island for the important and fun position they would soon take. It was however during this part that the first crack in the programming would be made, her mother introducing them to a song they had long since forgotten its origin but never its importance along with a myriad of other comments within the cracks of control, a tune that must never be forgotten but also danger so must be kept close. The concept of "Danger" was new to Jane and from this, the first of many questions would begin to form, though fortunately, she would not be one to speak them openly, she didn't want to be a downer after all.

When Jane was old enough to walk she was quickly brought to the Kindergarten to start her part in helping the happy city, clearing out the pipes and moving through the small places as only a child could but it wasn't long before her true talents began to be noticed. The culmination of this being her quick thinking in fixing a stuck limb of one of her the other workers** playmates within the pipes, making sure they didn't only get to ride away with the waters but also didn't get a cool peg leg but all was good so it was easy to forgive her, especially when Auntie moved her to an even more important role. This would be the start of her path as a Doctor, something she took to in earnest, and in her entire being able to help and keep the smiles around wasn't something she could turn down could she?. Still, the cracks and questions would continue to grow, urged on by an innocent yet simple comment by another playmate she had overheard "What is beyond the City Wall? What is beyond that?" she never did see the owner of the voice again, but the question was something she never could quite forget.

Still, time would continue to roll by as she grew and developed becoming one of Aunties favorites through her abilities alone, yet what will rise may also fall...and so she did when the realities of the world came crashing down to drag her with them into the abyss with the true nature of the island shattering the image built up over so many years. It had started with a question to Auntie, a slight change in the bliss formula...then while she was in the lab....she was chased? no, she stopped and threatened something...the freedom of falling? peace? no not peace, fear and anger she was shouting louder than she had before, she felt burning as if she was hitting something wet....then she was chained up in a cell...the entire series of events playing like fragment and blurred video but regardless of how it went down her final fate Jane born again with an unnatural determination, forgoing conviction for resolve as she spent her time in the cell planning to get beyond that wall now the world she had grown in was finally clear.

Though to say this was all that occurred before her final grand escape would be too simple a punishment and far too wasteful, despite what Auntie would try Jane appeared to refuse to die and so they simply solved one problem with another. As a result of the actions taken by the superior, the dietary budget of the island was slashed substantially with a new "protein" being added to the citizen's meals. Previously ALL "waste products" would be reconstituted and mixed with fast-growing algae to feed the citizens with their intoxication on bliss hiding the truth of what was being consumed, but for this period the algae were needed as the torture of Jane had provided more than enough.

While others would fall into acceptance of their fate Jane would not and after a year the event that would earn her their epithet would take place as well as would have secured a sizeable bounty for the damage done...if not for it quickly being collected in the final moments. While she was unable to break her restraints she had instead managed to break herself to gain freedom, rushing the door during a routine "protein collection" and breaking out of her cell to begin a rampage through the compound, driven only by the need to be free and get beyond that wall. Tearing through countless of the marines stationed she would proceed like an unchained beast, neither the blades are driven into her nor the bullets stopping their assault, even with the loss of her arms they clutched a blade within their mouth and kept pushing until she broke past the walls, pushing further until finally atop a hill of obstacles she saw blue atop the cliffs of the shore after so much.

This sight of salvation was short-lived, however, a voice from behind would speak leaving her only enough time turn before the cliffside soon fell into ruin and her into the waters below once more believed to have finally died. Had it be that simple it would have sparred them what was to come, drifting amidst the salted waters she would lose track of time, refusing to die yet her skin engulfed in flames even beneath the waves...suffice to say the experience was quite painful and quite prolonged. Relief would come eventually, she was not sure how long it had been but it came as she would eventually be washed up on the Wynlem Archipelago

The rest of Janes's story remains to be told, for good or ill the woman who now stands as been defined by the events that brought her to this point and will be further defined by those yet to come.

Aspiration: Shatter the false illusions of the world that she sees as its greatest disease

Position: Doctor

Abilities:
Devil Fruit: Jane is the holder of the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Revenant devil fruit allowing her a frightening level of physical durability and capability of macabre feats. Other than the obvious appearance-based changes it can be noted she lacks a distinct pulse among other critical features of many living organisms, in addition, it appears she holds an unnatural bite and grip strength. While many Zoans hold additional forms this has been an aspect she has yet to fully explore these if they indeed exist.

Medical Prodigy: From a young age Jane had been inducted into the medical profession after displaying unique talents for the art and while under the influence of the Bliss compound has been instrumental in several key advancements within its development as a longer-lasting medication. Jane herself can be seen as a highly proficient doctor within multiple medical fields most notably Surgical and Pharmacological though she herself does not hold up many aspects of the typical Hippocratic oath which can be seen in how she incorporates this into her fighting style and approach to adversaries. She is not above using drugs, poisons or other concoctions to supplement indirect tactics in achieving her goals.

Amoral Act: Should it be required against those susceptible Jane is not above assuming a far more vulnerable and innocent demeanor to act upon emotional triggers or sympathies in pursuit of a goal, be it simply a store discount, acceptance of an offer, or hesitation of an official showing honor or mercy. It has also been noted that when doing so she is willing to sacrifice modesty to capitalize on any charm she can muster.

Devils Cunning: In order to achieve the outcome Jane desires, nothing is off the table and she is both willing and able to use every item to her advantage as well as capitalize on every flaw or mistake of her opponents. Showing an inhuman cunning with traps, tricks, and preparations she has quickly developed a reputation as a dangerous individual even when seemingly unarmed or at the mercy of another less such all be the part of an elaborate ruse or more often than noting Xanatos style gambit.

Unflinching Gamble: With an impeccable poker face Jane has been known to raise difficult choices that cause opponents to flinch or hesitate within combat, some enacted to prevent such from even starting. Placing opponents in a situation where physical supremacy or conflict is not a solution to the problem and such most likely resulting in damage to the participant be it emotional, physical or reputational with their status, reputation and more at risk. Several of these, however, may appear to pose extreme risks to Jane herself in the same way, however, the confidence and composure being displayed results in opponents second-guessing themselves even if they themselves were almost certainly a moment prior. This skill has also proven highly effective in more civil negotiations though often employed in a far more reserved fashion.

Gisei Gambit: A Fighting style in the loosest possible terms that has slowly been developed by Jane. While others involve the incorporation of subtle movements, physical conditioning or skillful maneuvers, hers instead takes full advantage of both her mind, will and ability to push through nearly anything. A common connection part of these tactics involves leaving herself open to attacks without much in the way of defense to draw in attacks to the open areas which risk a prepared counter-attack. This can be from a concealed needle, the area being laced with a dangerous trap, or even far more drastic measures. What makes this so effective is the lack of self-preservation or reaction from attacks that are landed goes against everything experienced combatants have trained for, the core principle appearing to be turning weakness to strength, and strength to weakness in both the mental and physical senses. She appears to strike with precision at vital locations in an unorthodox martial art using every part of her body, not simply limiting herself to punches and kicks, this style is entirely self-developed from her careful watching of opponents when possible before formulating counters and striking directly and efficiently. Physically Jane herself can be noted to be inhuman in how she pushes her body beyond its physical limits, perhaps aided further by the durability her fruit in a somewhat suicidal combat style at times, leaving herself open to blows in order to have a clear opening counter, explosives in close proximity or other environmental hazards.

Home Town: The slave quarters of Mariejois

Personality: Indigo despite being a thief is surprisingly loud and carefree. He is friendly to almost anybody he meets. This can sometimes include even enemies. Many would describe him as air-headed however he can at times be quite smart and cunning, leading others to believe if it’s all just an act. When asked about his eyepatch you will seldom get a straight answer. Despite being so welcoming to others, the way he talks and navigates conversation is blunt, sometimes bordering on rude. Living his life on the run has taught him that having friends all over is a good thing and is willing to listen to others as a way to build trust. But unless Indigo trusts you with his life, you will never hear a word about his past.

Likes: Adventures, Ocean Breeze, The color Indigo, Jewels, Naps, Guns, Different eye patches.
Dislikes: The Celestial Dragons, Fire, Cabbages, Violence for no reason, Royalty of any kind, People who think they're better than others.

Backstory: Indigo has no clue who his parents are, he doesn’t know their names, their age, or what they look like. What he does know is that they are for sure dead. Death from overwork in the holy land of Mariejois, home to the Celestial Dragons. Made a slave from birth, Indigo was branded with the sign all slaves are given, the foot of the dragon, over his left eye. For years Indigo worked as a slave, enduring the beatings and the hard labor forced upon him. When he was 17, the revolutionary army made an attack on Mariejois and freed several slaves, one of which included Indigo.

The revolutionary army led the slaves out of the grand line, as far away they could from the holy land. Many of the slaves joined the revolutionary army, but not Indigo, he decided that since he was now free, he’d be living life how he wanted. The army respected his decision and let him go in the West blue, with a few supplies and an eye patch to cover the brand. He would later choose his first name after his favorite color, and his last name after a man that gave him a free meal.

After some time, he very quickly ran out of money. He had worked his entire life serving others and Indigo had no intention of doing it again, even if he was getting paid to do it. Thus the life of thievery was chosen and at first he was awful at it. Making noise and laughing whenever he got close to stealing something. But as time went on and as he picked up the skills of lockpicking and pickpocketing. Slowly but surely thievery was becoming a lucrative career for Indigo. But thievery and money was simply a means to an end. What Indigo wanted was to have fun, and after stealing a fishing boat and arriving at Wynlem Archipelago, he was looking forward to what life could throw at him to make it more interesting.

Aspiration: To Live Life with no restrictions, Find one piece for the sole fact that no one else has been able to do it.

Position: Thief

Abilities:

Skilled Thief: Indigo is an expert at lock-picking and getting places where he isn’t allowed to be. If there’s a lock, he can pick it. If there a window he can climb to it. If there’s a shadow, he can hide in it. Although he prefers to just laugh and run away if given the chance.

Sharpshooter: It started with curiosity from a stolen gun and became a necessary skill. Indigo carries a pistol strapped to his side. And through grit and hours of practice, is damn accurate with it.

Indigo’s Bag of tricks: If an enemy ever gets close enough to where a pistol is no longer useful, then out comes the hand to hand combat. A dagger can be found in his boots, and three more can be found around his body each coated in poison, however rarely does he ever have to resort to them. Fire Crackers in a fight always throw an enemy off guard. If not that then pocket sand and ground-up glass in the eyes are sure to be effective. And what’s that ball bearings on the ground made you fall? Remember when fighting a thief, the genitals are always fair game and cheating is a given.

Abilities:
Animal Affinity: Despite there anti-social tendencies and sadism at times, Willows connections with animals are the polar opposite with a high empathy with creatures and beasts in general, able to calm and display an intuitive insight into their minds.
Flora Fury: Willow has an extensive knowledge of the multitude of Flora and a great intuition in deciphering the properties of such which she can incorporate into various forms of incense that she can make use of. The most notable uses would be to adversely affect opponents, obscure vision, or most destructible as method of controlled flames and explosions through interactions with her lantern.
Voice of all things: As a result of her bloodline, Willows's third eye allows her the potential to understand the words conveyed by inanimate objects and animals that do not speak a human language. In addition to being able to perceive these words, they are also able to garner additional information through them.
Walking Glacier: In terms of actual movement, Willow navigates area at a steady controlled pace without any real speed and urgency, verging on lethargy at times. Inversely however they have shown a remarkable level of strength and durability, most notably seen by the weight of their garments, lantern, and companion Toni. This resilience also appears to extend other environmental hazards such as heat, cold, and more.

  • Equipment:
    • The garments Willow garbs herself in have proven both incredibly durable and heavy, with multiple dense animal hides and scale layers between this garment is effectively a suite of natural armor.
    • Her iconic tiger pelt, however, is, in fact, a rare species called a flatland tiger. This specimen itself is incredibly lazy but can be spurred into action under the right circumstances.
    • The Lantern she carries holds a strange mechanism that seemingly ignites at will, with slight twists of its handle the flame can be increased or decreased as well as used to ignite incense within for attacks or other effects. The Lanter itself, however, has been constructed from Seastone and is of considerable weight at nearly a hundred kilograms.

Veda is unbelievably friendly, too an almost eerie degree. Almost always wearing some kind of smile, she seems predisposed to enjoying herself in most scenarios. While this sunny disposition isn't a bad thing in its own, the fact that she's able to maintain it throughout the many hardships she has to face is probably one of her most defining traits. Even when in the midst of criminal actions, she's nothing if not casually optimistic. For such a happy-go-lucky individual, many wouldn't expect violence to fit in her personality at all. That couldn't be further from the truth. Despite how joyous and friendly Veda is, she's also a fairly straightforward crook. More than willing to bludgeon and steal to further her goals, she's not above making happy small talk with her victims or enemies even whilst in the midst of robbing them. This has led many to assume her friendly nature's a front, but Veda's odd consistency brings even that theory into question. Oftentimes it seems she doesn't really recognize certain crimes as bad things, and so acts on them without hesitation when she feels they're necessary. This often leads people to have mixed views on her wherever she goes.

Though her merry-persona often leaves many thinking she's slow-witted, Veda's a surprisingly quick learner when it comes to new things. She's rather quick to pick up on things, but the way she interprets things tends to vary from the norm fairly often. This doesn't keep her from trying to get acquainted with others, however.

Backstory:
Big Gap Island was barely on the map several decades ago, only recently acquiring notoriety after being the site of a fierce battle between an infamous pirate and an Admiral who had cornered him there. Once known as Muran Island, the battle resulted in a massive gap which split the island and released a literal treasure trove of natural resources lying dormant under the island for centuries. Skip a few decades later, and the now-extremely wealthy Big Gap Island has become a major trading hub for the Muran people. Though not born in one of the larger cities, Veda often traveled there as a child. For where there was money to be made, crime wasn't too far off. Veda enjoyed watching the numerous scuffles which would break out, finding the violence of the city far more entertaining than the rural lifestyle of her hometown.

Though her parents would often try to stifle these pursuits, Veda wasn't one to be swayed easily in terms of fascination. But little did the Tindalls know that fate would do their job for them, as the leaders of Big Gap Island began making deals with the nearby Contingents of Marines to bolster the security of their land. Veda was horrified to find the delightfully chaotic ways of the city wasting away under the governance of the Navy. And while her parents initially celebrated, the rising taxes needed to fund this oversight made their victory feel short-lived. Paradoxically, Veda and her parents had completely different reactions to the growing number of events where abuse of power began rising among some marines.

While her Parents were outright terrified of the idea of the Navy being able to exert control over their island, Veda was downright ecstatic that she had something new to replace the violence before. The only thing was, the Marines seemed far less amused with the idea of her watching them. Not even out of her teens, Veda found herself on the wrong side of the law after seeing a little too much for her own good. It was here when she found encouragement to break the law from a fairly unexpected source, her own family. Having grown resentful of the Navy's presence in the years since their arrival, her parents were now openly encouraging Veda to leave the island before her growing bounty got the better of her.

Ecstatic at having the encouragement of her family, Veda went out to find herself a vessel immediately. No longer holding back for their sake, she immediately stole a small merchant ship after clubbing the owner and the two marines he had helping him guard it unconscious. Barely able to operate a ship at the time, Veda nearly starved at sea whilst pretty much having to learn how to pilot a ship from scratch. But somehow or other, she made it to another island where she was welcomed warmly. Despite the hunger and isolation at sea, Veda still maintained a cheery demeanor. That lasted up until she recovered from her hunger, pawning off the stolen goods aboard the ship and starting up a self-perpetuating loop of criminal acts.

It was fairly easy to explain, but after leaving her home Veda became curious of what other places she could get to. If she needed something to continue advancing that goal she would try getting it, even if that meant burglary. Not the most subtle of individuals at first, Veda's burglaries often turned into assaults as she would have to club home-owners unconscious multiple times in order to continue her journey, often leading to her having to flee the island with her ill-gotten gains. But after several of these loops she began getting better at them, from the sailing to the stealing to the clubbing.

This cycle continued for several years as she slowly made her way from island to island, switching ships and equipment multiple times and seeing enough interesting stuff to convince her to keep going.

Aspiration: Veda seeks to spend the rest of her life travelling and exploring in order to see as much of the world as humanly possible.

Abilities

Navigation Specialist- Veda's deepened her understanding of nautical navigation to an extreme degree, due mostly in part to her not wanting to accidentally visit the same place twice. Be it stars or winds, current or otherwise, she can whip up a map and get ya in the right direction in a flash.

Ship Maintenance- Though not a full-blown shipwright, Veda's able to perform more patches than the average sailor in the case of a breach.

Blunt Weapons Specialist- Having been knocking folks unconscious for years now, Veda is a master of wielding blunt weaponry. Though primarily a master of wielding large clubs, she's more than capable of getting by with a simple plank of wood or metal rod.

Charmer- Veda's at ease when interacting with others, and her oddly friendly persona's fairly adept at gleaming information from her acquaintances.

The Tattoo Tattoo Fruit [Paramecia]- The user is able to turn any item that comes into contact with them into a tattoo on their body. They can then draw the item out by hand or launch it out via muscle flex. The tattoos will appear as simple black ink, and any object transformed will appear as a 2d version of itself. The user will be able to turn humans into tattoos as well, but only if they aren't resistant. Struggling in the midst of the tattooification process will halt it. The user cannot place the art on anything other than themselves. They are also limited by the room on their skin, since the tattoos cannot overlap.

Personality: Jace is extremely disciplined and focused, he typically doesn't talk unless he was spoken to first or he's instructing one of his animals. He comes off as unapproachable and can be a bit blunt when he speaks, but he isn't an intentionally mean guy he simply doesn't see any reason to lie to preserve anyone's feelings. Despite being standoffish the majority of the time Jason does have a great sense of humor and loves to tell jokes sometimes although his stoic nature makes it difficult to tell when he's joking and sometimes causes him to offend people.

Backstory: When Jace was little his parents shared his same love of animals and they always had a multitude of wild critters running around. One day his father came home from work with a baby tiger and gave it to Jace to raise. He named the tiger Al-Shakal and the process of training Al-Shakal was what made Jason realize that beyond his natural affinity for making friends the animals he also enjoyed training animals. As he grew up he became well known in his town for his ability to train even the most unruly animals and even had a side job training people's pets or helping them with their farm animals.

Aspiration: To tame or at least befriend every single animal on the planet.

Position: Beast Tamer

Abilities: Animals naturally like Jason and he's never met an animal that he couldn't tame with enough time and effort, and even animals that are incapable of being trained he is able to handle. All of his tamed animals are trained to protect him, but aside from using animals to assist him in battle Jason throws knives and can use a longbow. Short range combat is not his forte but he can hold his own in hand-to-hand.

Other: Currently Jace has 6 trained animals that he always travels with: His male tiger, Al-Shakal; his female direwolf, Shadi, a female Komodo Dragon, named Kasari, a male falcon, named Iskender, a female anaconda, called Empress, and a male fennec fox kit, named Shoza. While Shoza is not yet very useful to Jace in combat or any other way he still keeps him close and kind of babies Shoza as if he were a human child. Al-Shakal and Shadi or also extremely protective over their master and the little kit.

Natalia is a confident woman that always tries to find the positives in life. She's someone who can go with the flow and usually looks like she's having fun living life. She has a tomboy streak and enjoys being one of the guys. Sometimes her confidence can make her sound cocky, especially when she playfully refers to elders as "Old man." She's always down for some friendly competition, be it wresting, arm wrestling, drinking, or something else that she might not have tried before. On the flip side, she doesn't mind showing her more feminine side. Sometimes she wears nail polish and minimal make up. She enjoys cooking and cleaning. She also enjoys the company of children and, despite her young age, can be quite motherly due to her upbringing. If she sees a child in trouble, Mamma Bear will come out, whether that means simply staying with a lost child or trying to wrestle the crap out of some bad guys depends on the circumstances.

Backstory:
Natalia was born on the island known as Ringmania, where their favorite pass-time is watching people wrestle. She grew up in the orphanage. It was a little run down, but she was happy being with the other kids. The other children looked up to her like a big sister and their admiration for her only increased as she got older.

The orphanage staff taught Natalia how to cook, and once she knew her way around the kitchen, her meals became something the other kids would look forward to; She'd even make them sweets if the supplies were in. But money was tight. To combat this, Natalia had a strong drive to become a wrestler. In her spare time she practiced her form, watching recordings she made on VHS and hitting a run down punching bag.

When she was 18, she finally qualified to fight in a special tournament. If she won or caught the attention of a trainer, she'd be able to partake in the official wrestling circuit. She didn't end up winning the tournament, but she did catch the eye of Howling Mad Murdock, a veteran of the wrestling circuit. H.M. Murdock taught her how to wrestle and made sure that she was ready for her first match in the Rookie Circuit, where she debuted as Mama Bear: wrestling hero of the children.

Over the years she worked her way up into the upper circuits, becoming the favorite fighter of the orphanage children and staff, even a favorite of the crowd. She didn't win every match, but the winnings she did win went to the orphanage. She even taught some of the kids how to wrestle. This would end up being a blessing in disguise as rumors of the One Piece resurfaced.

Natalia felt a strong desire in her heart to search for the One Piece. Gold Roger's treasure, even just part of it, could boost the orphanage's funds for many lifetimes. After winning her last circuit fight for a while, Natalia announced that she was going to look for the One Piece. Some people thought she was crazy, but the children didn't think she could be even more of a hero. With a tearful farewell, she tried to assure the kids that they'd be OK.

"Look after the orphanage for me, old man," she told her mentor with a warm grin, before setting sail. She started to travel to the Wynlem Archipelago and wondered where the rumors would lead, hoping for the start of something good.

Natalia wants to find the One Piece and Gold Roger's treasure so that she can use some of it to give the orphanage back home a big boost in funds.

Natalia is a wrestler using the self created Grizzly Style. Some of her attacks are original to her, most are just renames of standard wrestling techniques. She uses her size and strength to her advantage, grappling opponents and slamming them around. She uses momentum theatrically, making her attacks look more powerful by creating her own momentum or manipulating the momentum of her opponent.

    • Grizzly Hug: Natalia's name for a Bear Hug; She locks her hands behind the opponent and squeezes him with her arms. Often she will shake his body from side to side, in order to generate more pain around the ribs and spine.
    • Body Scissors: Natalia Natalia sits next to a downed opponent and wraps her legs around him, crossing her ankles and then tightening her grip by squeezing together her thighs or straightening her legs to choke the opponent by compressing his torso. This hold is often used in conjunction with a hold applied to the head or the arms in order to restrain the opponent.
    • Sleeper Hold: Natalia wraps her arm around the opponent's neck, pressing the biceps against one side of the neck and the inner bone of the forearm against the other side. The neck is squeezed inside the arm very tightly. Additional pressure can be applied by grabbing the left shoulder with the right hand, or grabbing the biceps of the left arm near the elbow, then using the left hand to push the opponent's head towards the crook of the right elbow.

Personality:
Fun loving and spontaneous are words that describe Katie fairly well. She's a kind soul with and upbeat demeanor and personality to match. There aren't many times when she cant be seen wearing a smile of some sort. She can be mischievous, and a little bit petty, always thinking up some plan or scheme in order to tease her fellow crew mates, in non harmful ways of course. She has a bright mind and loves to experiment with new designs, especially when it comes to ships, a trait she inherited from her father. She has a tendency to get out of hand with these experiments at times and can cause trouble of the comical sort among her crew. More than anything else though she loves her ship, and if anyone hurts her baby, except for her of course, they will have hell to pay. While she is typically kind hearted she can turn into a sort of slave driver when forcing her crew mates to help her repair the damages they made, forcing them to redo their work until its perfect.

Katie has a strong connection to the sea, despite being a devil fruit user. This steams partially from her love of building ships but also because of her mother. Apparently her mother loved the sea, according to her father, but Katie has never once met her. Apparently she stayed on the island for a while before leaving her in her fathers care and then sailing off into the sunset. Katie has never had much of a desire to find her but she always wondered what kind of person she was. However Katie does have desire to find one man, a pirate who had saved her from another group of pirates when she was a young girl, so that she can thank him for all that he had done.

Katie has some resentment towards the way she looks. Even though she seems small and fairly feminine at first upon a closer inspection she sports mostly lean muscle, she has a nice set of abs and pretty nice biceps, but she believes her body to be too muscular and thus not as feminine as she would want, or as others might desire. However she does not let this stop her from wearing what she wants as she can often be caught wearing some kind of crop top of bikini top and not leaving much to the imagination. However should you mention her muscles or her body in any way other than feminine its practically a death sentence.

Backstory:
Katie comes from the Wynlem Archipelago, an island somewhere in the West Blue. Her father was the owner and head shipwright of an amazing shipwright company, day in and day out Kate would go to watch her father build ships for the marines and pirates alike, so long as they had the money for it. Pirates were obviously their biggest clients as most visited the island on small ships and not overly large crews and had their very first actual ship built by her father. She was very fond of pirates, most of the ones that came through were nice although her father always warned her to stay away from them, as they were criminals, but she could never understand why. She soon grew attached to the profession and began to learn everything that her father had to teach her about making ships. She fell in love with it, she was always helping her father build something and even began to design schematics for a ship herself, even though they were very sloppy. by the age of 8 she was a better craftsman than most of the people in her fathers company.

While she was 9 a group of pirates came to town looking to get their ship fixed, but when Katie went to greet them they kidnapped her and held her hostage so they could get their boat repaired for free. The Pirates demanded that her father had less than a day to fix their ship or else they would kill her, and he father resigned and began work. She was locked in their treasure hold for what seemed like hours. She began to grow hungry when she found a oddly shaped fruit, she ate it but it was disgusting, still she was hungry so she finished it. A couple hours later a group of pirates who had once been a customer to her father, and even shared drinks with him in his younger days came into town. They had arrived back from a long trip on the Grand Line and had some business in the West Blue, but wanted to stop and see their old friend and get some ship repairs made. when they heard the news of his daughter being taken hostage they sprung into action and cut down all of her kidnappers in the blink of an eye. Katie never forgot the face of her savior, even though she had no idea what his name was she was eternally grateful and wanted to be just like him, a man sporting a Jolly Roger on his chest. Soon after, before Katie had a chance to thank her saviors, they left town, after her father fixed their ship of course.

It was soon after that Katie found out she had eaten a devil fruit. Her father had decided that she needed to know how to defend herself, and while he was a skilled fighter himself there were more suited trainers on the island for that sort of task. He brought her to a dojo and enrolled her in martial arts class to train her to protect her self. She found out that after blocking another kids attack she could release a blast of energy that sent them flying across rooms. after a few days of this she even had some of the adults challenging her as the other kids were to scared to fight her. She continued learning martial arts from then on out and continued to work as a shipwright. When she hit 15 her father insisted that she move to a nearby island in the archipelago to study for a while and get a proper education in craftsmanship as well as other courses so she could get by in life. Katie was fairly smart and she began to pick up on courses like math and wood working from her time working as a shipwright. Also she began to study a couple of fairly new courses called chemistry and mechanics, courses sponsored by the navy so that they could find their next generation of scientists, and even though she had heard of both before these were more in depth than she could ever dream of. She began to study hard and found herself learning more and more each day, but all she could think about was how she could work it into a ship.

While in school she lived in a dorm room, while the island she was on was close to her home island the school required her to stay. How ever on the weekends she would travel back to the island to help her father at work. By the time she hit 18 she was done three years of schooling, and she had a plan in mind. with a schematic drawn up and a whole bunch of crazy ideas in mind she returned home to her fathers workshop and began a side project building her own ship while helping her father work on the ones he was building, she had one goal in mind and that was to build the ship that the next great pirate would sail on, and so that she could travel with him in hopes of finding her savior and finally thanking him.

Katie's abilities work in a very similar way as impact dials do, she absorbs kinetic energy from impacts and can redirect them into attacks. This is not to say she is invincible, there is a threshold at which her abilities can absorb kinetic energy, for examples most bullets wont pierce her skin but they will still leave bruises and hurt a hell of a lot. Sharp items are effective on her too as they slice with minimal impact force. Additionally she can only absorb impacts on her skin, so her eyes and the inside of her mouth can be damaged. But her abilities work in a way that allows her to store up impacts and release them along with her own hitting power. She generate impact force by hitting her self or by doing simple tasks such as walking for example the force must be external. Also she can only release certain levels of impact force so that she doesn't end up damaging her self, as large blasts can have a recoil effect that can end up breaking her bones. Kate is a martial artist who often uses and open palm style that pairs well with her powers.

Intuitive mind
Katie is always thinking about how to improve her ship and how to gain the advantage in battle. Shes a smart girl and creating is her passion. Katie's willing to try just about every crazy idea in the book just once so that she can experiment and improve on future ideas. This has lead to a great many ideas that have been implemented into her designs. Katie, in a sense, is not only a great shipwright but also a scientist and engineer, shes able to think up new ideas at the drop of a hat and she will work on them like there's no tomorrow, no matter how long they take to build.

Craftswoman's skills
Katie is a craftswoman in every sense of the word. She has dedicated her life to ship building and creating new and improved designs. She can patch a hole in minutes and fix damages some would consider impossible to fix. She has spent the last 12 years of her life honing these skills and there aren't many in her field that can match her work outside of her father and the craftsmen of Water 7. The only places she lacks is in underwater craftsmanship.

Shipwrights Fortitude
Katie is what you'd call a mass of lean, hard muscle, though don't ever tell her that cause she would probably eat you alive. Her years of hauling around wooden beams and working with tools have given her the muscular density of an average gorilla (no, not even close really but you get the picture). Her years in martial arts only honed these skills and allowed her to gain a bod that most people would die for. Her durability and strength speak for themselves when she hauls a heavy load of cargo around the ship by herself.

  • The Impact Impact Fruit was an idea I've wanted to try for years in a one piece setting, the idea first came to me when I was in the 10th grade watching the Skypeia arc for the first time
  • Katie's powers are a combination of Hinata's powers from Naruto and the whole aspect of the Impact Dial from One Piece
  • Katie's Personality is based partially on my own while incorporating bits of Maki Oze from Fire Force.
  • The nickname "Gentle Fist" is also from Naruto and is used to describe Hinata's abilities in the show.

Personality:
Han usually maintains very stern, serious, and distanced personality, but often loses his temper in a goofy and exaggerated comical style. He's not the type to fool around or go goofing off and often will sit alone in the corner of his ship. Han is a dedicated follower of the samurai philosophy and doctrine of Bushido, such as the code of honor and integrity where he strictly fight fair and square honestly by consistently refuses to attack an adversary whose back is turned, with the only exception being when his friends are in imminent danger of losing their lives in which Han would strike the attacker from behind. He believes that it brings great shame and dishonor to wound a warrior on the back and that by samurai code it is not right. When he set out to sea he adopted the role of a ronin, due to him not being a full fledged samurai yet and his want for revenge, something considered dishonorable in the Bushido code. He values loyalty very highly as a Daimyo's son, he takes his vows very seriously so when he says he will join a pirate crew he plans to see that through so long as his goal should be accomplished as well.

Han has a very kind heart, being a leader of his people he has always been taught to care for those he served and to even be kind to those that he didn't. Han feels as if it's a part of his duty to protect those who can't protect themselves and will often go out of his way to help those in need. While he can be rather stern and look rather malicious he is actually very kind under that rough exterior. He expresses a deep wrath towards evil individuals with extreme cruelty towards the innocent and unarmed. He can easily be angered when people don't follow a code of honor and try to hurt those that have no way of fighting back. Han rarely ever laughs, but sometimes while in the heat of battle or while sharing drinks with his crew he will smile a little bit. While Han would say that usually he despises violence and wishes for peace you can see it in his eyes when he battles that secretly he lives for the thrill of battle.

Backstory:
Han's story begins in the land of Wano, 18 years prior to the start of this story. He was born to the Daimyo of the Ringo region of the land. When he was a young boy there was nothing Han wanted more than to become a samurai. He use to go out in the forest behind his house swinging around a stick, mocking the samurai that honed their skills at his fathers castle. Once his father found about his love for the art of sword play he began teaching him all that he needed to know, as he was already nearing the age that he would begin training anyways. Han was taught the principals of Honor and of being an example to the people whom he would eventually serve, always facing his enemies head on and never backing down.

From then On Han began to train regularly in the art of swordsmanship. Day in and day out he could be found swinging around a wooden Katana or sparing with a member of his fathers group of Samurai. The young master quickly progressed through his training and soon qualified to begin training for two sword style techniques, a technique that not many samurai used due to the difficulty it took to properly manage two swords in sync. He began to train seriously after this, before those he spared against took it easy on him because he was the young master, but to sharpen his senses and give him a true experience his father ordered those he spared with to attack as if they were trying to kill him. Many times Han managed to defend himself and even win, but also many times he was forced to rest due to broken bones and bad bruises. Through this though he also learned special breathing techniques that allowed him to strengthen his body and increase his strength. This technique was called total concentration breathing, a set of secret techniques passed down through his family and the samurai who served under them.

After his 15th birthday he was suppose to become a full Fledged Samurai among his fathers personal guard. But one day one of his fathers younger samurai betrayed them, he was a master of the total concentration breathing techniques that had been passed down to him, only second to the lead samurai of Han's fathers samurai and Han's father himself. Still the betray had taken them both by surprise and both were easily cut down when it happened. Han was devestated, he had thought of this man as a close personal friend, but yet he dishonored his family. This set Han on a war path, taking his fathers Katana, the Baio-Doku and its matching tanto (a symbol of status among samurai but rarely used) and his lead samurai's Katana, the Honjo Masamune, and set out on his journey. 3 years later he's still chasing the man who dishonored his family and he ended up stranded in the west blue, on an collection of islands called the Wynlem Archipelago.

Abilities:
Han is a swordsman through and through, and even more so a samurai. Han's abilities range from using one to two swords in combat but his real abilities lie in the breathing techniques he uses in order to strengthen himself. He uses a technique called total concentration breathing which enhances a users abilities by supplying oxygen to every cell in their body. There are many different types of breaths than can be used under this ability, most named after some sort of element but some are harder to learn than others and can often require intense concentration. The total concentration breathing also gets progressively more difficult to use when executing different moves, as the enhanced breathing takes a toll on ones body if they aren't use to it.

Total Concentration Breathing:
Total Concentration Breathing increases the user's capabilities beyond that of a normal human through advanced breathing forms. This breathing expands the user's lung capacity. This allows oxygen to reach every cell in the user's body, increasing their blood circulation and heart rate. The effects of Total Concentration Breathing. Taking a lot of air into the blood causes the body's temperature to spike, exciting the blood which heats up all the muscles so they can grow stronger. This enhances the user's human bodies healing factor while both stabilizing and energizing the user's spirit. To properly use Total Concentration Breathing, the user must concentrate, relax their upper half and brace their lower half before taking a long breath. There can be no wasted movement during its application in combat, and this makes it difficult to master

Water Breathing:
The first and only type of breathing Han learned as its the simplest to learn for beginners. It utilizes the ferocity, smooth flow, and endless shapes of water. There are ten forms of Water Breathing and each different form while mimicking one of the special properties of water. Water Breathing attacks often rely on slicing through opponents with a quick, smooth stroke of slicing water. The greatest strength of Water Breathing techniques lies in their variation. As water can change into any form, forms can be adapted to any situation so the user can battle any kind of opponent. Some of the moves are even more effective while underwater. (Doesn't actually use any real water)
  • First Form: Water Surface Slash: This technique uses one quick slash attack that's meant to mimick a wave coming in, It is a slash that is meant to decapitate the enemy in a single, reinforced slash.​

Equipment:
Baio-Doku: The Baio-Doku is a blade of the Ushimaru clan, one of 21 Ō Wazamono swords. It has a permanent black blade meaning that over the years in has been used with haki so much that the blade turned permanently black, also raising its grade from a Ryō Wazamono to a Ō Wazamono in the process. The blade had been passed down through generations of Han's family and has a matching tanto blade, a blade that signifies status among samurai.

Honjo Masamune: A true Ō Wazamono swords, was forged by a man named Masamune with the intent of making a sword for keeping the peace. The Masamune sword has a rival, the Muramasa blade, and both masters put their swords up to the test to see which was better. A passing monk said that the Masamune was better due to the fact that when placed in a river it would cut the passing leaves while leaving the wildlife unharmed, while the Muramasa destroyed everything it touched. The Blade has a unique sparkle due to the technique it was forged with and can almost look pure white when the light shines off it in the right way. The other half of it's name comes from the Honjo family, a family of famous samurai, although not royalty, that weilded the sword while serving the daimyo of the Ringo Region in the land of Wano.

Home Town: Oleander's Isle

Personality: Azura is a very reserved individual, not fond of sharing too much about himself or where he came from. Despite that, he remains very curious about other people in general and those he's befriended. The gunslinger has a serious lack of awareness when it comes to social cues. Often getting into awkward situations by accident or saying the wrong thing to people. While well-meaning, he can come off as unintentionally cold or rude.

Backstory:
Azura is not sure where he came from or who his real parents were. After a ship crash, he washed up on Oleander's Isle in East Blue. A hidden island under the the ownership of Oleander Red, an eccentric inventor who hid away from the world. Over the years, Azura was named by Oleander and received an education. Although, Oleander wished for Azura to pursue technology in a greater capacity, the blue-haired youth had a special interest in guns. From the age of 4, Azura lived his entire life on the Isle with only Oleander and two cyborg animals for companions. He grew to be very comfortable there, spending his days tinkering. However, he could not stop the pull to see the world. The pull to meet people and experience life. Eventually, the drive to leave became overwhelming. Azura talked with Oleander about it, not wanting to slip away in the night. That ended up being the right choice. Oleander admitted (much to Azura's shock) that he'd tried to leave the island, but the currents were too destructive surrounding it.

Not allowing himself to feel discouraged, Azura set about thinking of a new plan to leave. He suggested the idea of using a hot air balloon. An idea which Oleander had never thought of before. Together, Oleander and Azura built a hot air balloon to take them off of the island. All that was left was to leave the island. Azura boarded the balloon and waited for Oleander. The old man had taken his sweet time saying goodbye to nearly every speck of the island. When it finally came time to board, Oleander could not do it. He cried as he could not bring himself to leave the one true home that he'd made for himself. The two men had an emotional goodbye as Azura left on his own to face an uncertain future.

Azura's hot air balloon made it far away enough from the island to no longer be effected by it's current. In the sky, he hit a lever and the basket of the balloon detached, forming into a makeshift raft. With the clever invention, the blue haired youth rowed for days until he got to a nearby island. Having no money and skills that no one had use of on the island, Azura settled for being a waiter at a restaurant until he could buy a proper ship. Unfortunately, during his first week on the job, he offended a marine and was forced to run from the island, stealing a small boat to escape.

Aspiration:
Azura seeks to learn more about the world and the people in it. Growing up in isolation, he hungers for more practical knowledge. Azura also seeks to understand the feeling that Oleander had of a "true home." Therefore, he wishes to find the place he belongs.

Abilities: (Ideally, this will include a description of your characters abilities, for example if they are a martial artist, what kind, where did their style originate, as well as a list of moves that they will regularly use in combat with a short description of each)

The center of Azura's combat abilities is the Eagler Magnum, a revolver pistol that is double the usual size, has a curved blade on the bottom end of the barrel, and a scope on the top.

Special Shots:
Surprise Hawk - A shot using the Hawk bullet that explodes into a blast of fire. Only usable at close to medium range.

Freeze Falcon - A shot using the Falcon bullet that explodes into a blast of ice. Only usable at close to medium range.

Murder Bud - A shot using the Crow bullet that explodes into a collection of smaller shots. Only usable at close to medium range.

Eagle Burst - Azura turns the modified safety off of the Eagler Magnum and fires all six shots consecutively. Usable twice within a battle. Third time breaks the magnum.

Gunblade:

Eagler Magnum: Talon Strike - After encountering a few swordsman, Azura attempted to replicate even a little bit of their craft. He places the Eagler Magnum into it's holster and fires, using the momentum to slash his opponent. (Tell me if this is a little hard to imagine. )

Misc.

Bird's Eye - Azura deploys the scope on the magnum for long range shots.

Kenji has light brown hair, slightly tan skin, and brown eyes. He has three scars, one over his left eye on his forehead, one below his right eye, and one of his stomach. In addition to this Kenji has tribal tattoos (Very poorly drawn by me and nothing like real tribe tattoos) down his right arm. He had both ears and his right eyebrow pieced. Typically Kenji wears short sleeved button down shirts which he has a tendency to leave unbuttoned and shorts.

Personality:
Kenji seems like a man with a rough, edgy exterior, but really that's mainly just how he looks. Kenji's is actually a bit of a fun loving idiot who tends to do as he wants and never think about the consequences. Its part of how he was raised, he started off as a thief so he does have a lot a street smarts and the ability to be rather intimidating when he wants to but usually hes chugging back a mug full of alcohol while smiling widely. Additionally Kenji has a bad habit of looking pissed off or annoyed when people are talking to him, but usually this is just because he gets lost in space and is likely not paying attention, and well even comically pick his ear when people tell him about it. Kenji's looks speak nothing towards his personality and he is often judged by it, but alot of that goes over his head and more often than not he will find himself in situations where people are frightened by him before he even speaks.

Kenji is known for showing deep compassion to those in his crew and even those who he becomes associated with. He is willing to risk his life and dream for his friends and never gives up on them even in the toughest of situations. He has an insane amount of will power and even when facing death he doesn't show his fear and refuses to give up. He has a deep love for two people in his life, his brother Shino and his former captain Ben Hornigold. Both of them are dear to him as well as the members of his crew. As a pirate who has been on the grandline and knows how fearsome it can be Kenji refuses to back down from his dream, and is willing to face whatever comes his way.

Kenji comes from Hargeno Port in the north blue, a haven for pirates and criminals alike. He never knew who his parents were, they were believed to be pirates who happened to pass through, and because the life was rough for a kid left him in a run down orphanage and then left. Kenji was raised on the streets, having to make his own living in a town full of people who were much more dangerous than he was. He stole, gambled, and cheated his way through his younger years, and trained like hell to get strong so that he could defend himself. He only had one friend there, Shino, a young boy who like him had been left behind by his parents and was eager to become a pirate. Shino was a boy who was a natural leader, and though he wasn't overly smart, almost getting both himself and Kenji killed plenty of times, Kenji loved him and looked up to him like an older brother. They saved up so that both of them could one day set sail away from the island and become pirates together, every little scrap of money and treasure that they managed to liberate from other pirates they kept hidden in a small run down shack.

Shino was brave, no matter how desperate the situation they were in, no matter how much Kenji thought it was hopeless Shino would always wear a smile and face whatever was in front of them head on. The two of them were known around town as the little thieves, no because of their age but because of how they use to steal from pirates little by little, in almost insignificant amounts. Hargeno port was a haven for pirates, and as such there were certain rules, such as the fact that stealing was forbidden, but no one could ever catch them and no one knew who they were, so they were almost like a myth of some sort. After about 8 years, when Kenji turned 14 and Shino was 16, Shino decided to leave the island to start his adventure as a pirate, with the promise to meet Kenji again one day, so that they could live out their dream of being pirates together. They formed a blood pact to live out that dream and so that they would never forget that they were brothers, although not blood related.

For the next two years Kenji was alone, but he continued to steal from pirates and save up his money so that one day he would be able to set out to sea. One day he stole from the wrong pirate group and was caught, he was dragged through the streets and beaten to within a inch of his life. The pirates he had stolen from where ready to kill him. The captain of the group, pushed Kenji down into the mud and raised a sword, ready to cut his head off. Another passing pirate noticed that the teenager was about about to be publicly executed and caught the blade before it hit Kenji's neck. He sent a punch into the face of the man who was about to kill Kenji and Chaos ensued, the man just smiled and laughed loudly as he struck down pirate after pirate. When the mans crew showed up he had already knocked out every pirate there, his crew showed distaste for their captains actions. Then he looked down at Kenji who was still on the ground with a fearless look in his eye and he turned to his crew "how could I let a man who shows no fear when facing death die, oi, Help him up and bring him to the shift, we will get the good doctor to treat him" he said as he walked off laughing. The captains name was Ben Hornigold and he was the captain of the Hornigold pirates, Before Kenji could object the ship set sail from Hargeno point and Kenji found himself now a crew member under captain Hornigold.

For the next two years Kenji traveled with Hornigold, throughout the North blue and the the grandline, Kenji was far from the strongest man on the crew but he had guts. He was given a devil fruit as a reward for both finding it and being a major help in one of the crews battles, even though he offered the fruit up as tribute to his captain. Kenji ate the fruit and found out that it was the Inu Inu fruit, model: Raiju, essentially turning himself into a lightning wolf. Kenji, along with the skills in martial arts and sword play he gained from his crew mates, honed this fruits strength and became even more powerful that he was already. Eventually he gained a bounty under the name "Lightning Wolf" Kenji of 45 million Beli and he couldn't have been happier. But as the crew came to the end of the grandline's first half Kenji didn't feel right, it wasn't that he was sick or anything, it was that he felt he wasn't living up to his dream, to captain a crew and find the One Piece. He wanted to stay with Hornigold and make him the king of the pirates but he himself wanted to be the king of the pirates, and because of this he found himself torn and Hornigold noticed. Hornigold confronted Kenji and Kenji explained how he felt, and after a long discussion Kenji departed from the Hornigold pirates with wishes of good tidings and a promise to meet on the sea again one day.

Over the next three years Kenji was fairly unheard of, no one knew what happened to the rookie pirate of the Horigold crew. But as rumors began to spread of a clue to the one piece in the west blue Kenji reappeared again, he had made his way to the west blue and was making his way to the Wynlem Archipelago when the rumors originated. Kenji figured that even if the rumors were false that it would attract people seeking the one piece, or even people wanting to be pirates, and he would be able to form a decent crew there.

To find the one piece, become king of the pirates, and to be truly free

Abilities:
Kenji Ate the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Raiju, A mythical Zoan fruit which allows the user to turn into a Raiju, a thunder wolf in simple terms. Kenji’s abilities allow him to transform into a full or half wolf with black fur that appears surrounded by lightning or into a hybrid between himself and the wolf. In this form he has both a canine’s physiology, enhanced physical attributes, and a very basic control over lightning. Kenji is a martial artist, and he incorporates his abilities into his fighting style. Additionally Kenji carries a katana and wields it from time to time, using a technique he calls, Lightning wolf sword style, in which he electrifies the blade of his sword using his Raiju Physiology.

Lightning Palm: Kenji attacks with a lightning infused palm attack.

Bolt: Kenji Attacks from a distance with a bolt of electrical energy.

Thunder Howl: Kenji, while in a transformed state lets loose a very loud howl that sounds similar to thunder. Meant to confuse enemies.

Lightning Fang: Kenji makes an attack with lightning that looks similar to a wolf biting its prey

Static claw: Kenji Makes a claw attack infused with a small amount of electrical energy.

Lightning howl: Kenji Lets loose a bolt of lightning from his mouth.

Discharge: Kenji Drives his claws into an opponent and shocks them with his ability.

Lightning Wolf Sword Style: Kenji electrifies the blade of his sword allowing him to electrocute the opponents he cuts.

Human Point: The base transformation of Kenji's abilities, leave him in his human form with increased hearing, smell, and a small control over lightning, similar to what minks would have with their electro.

Werewolf Point: A half transformation common to the zoan fruits. Allows Kenji to essentially turn into a were wolf, giving him increased durability, strength, fangs, and more control over his lightning.

Wolf Point: A full transformation, turns Kenji into a full wolf as a typical raiju would look. this further increases his speed and lightnign power, but limits his ability to attack properly.

He wears a black hoodie at all times and has pale skin, and a scar that runs from his upper left shoulder to just under his jaw, and another, X shaped scar over his wrist, which he often keeps covered by a brown and orange woven wrist-wrapping. Home Town: Nowhere in particular. He's been a traveller, going from place to place, for as long as he can remember. He was born in Loguetown.


Personality: Karter is sarcastic, and generally distant. He prefers to avoid company if possible, preferring to focus on doing things on his own. He’s determined to a fault, and once he’s set his mind to something, it WILL get done. He has skills in plenty, and often he brags about them, though he’s out of practice on a good few of them. He’s snappish whenever he’s driven over the edge, and there are a good few things that will send Karter into a rage.

He’s never one to skip out on a fight, and despite his physical challenges, he’s often the one to throw the first punch, and prompts attackers to get them revved up. When put in serious danger, however, Karter will do almost anything to escape- including but not limited to trickery, lying, maiming, or even killing an opponent- and values nobody more than himself. He won’t risk his own life for almost anyone else's. He finds a few rare people and connects with them, and they’re the only ones who have his true trust. Karter is an anxious individual, and has as such trained himself to be an actor. He’s very aware and alert to what’s around him, but one thing always goes over his head. The idea that someone might care about him. GENUINELY care about him, is ridiculous. If anyone shows signs of affection or liking, it'll go over his head and the answer in his mind will most likely be either "that was weird." Or "they're trying to lower my guard." He's very instinctive, and always follows his gut feeling. He has sharp senses, and does his best to put them to good use, priding himself on even that.

He will do anything to benefit himself, even if it means working for all the wrong people. In the end, he doesn't WANT to inflict harm on others in the long-run. He doesn’t WANT to be seen as the 'bad-guy' although he is FULLY aware that in the eyes of many, that’s the role he plays. Bad guy, he can deal with for himself. He knows he has some things about him that would cause people to think of him that way, and he has learned to accept that. He doesn’t want to be the good guy either though for fear of the spotlight. He’s aware of his flaws, and will even acknowledge them, sometimes to the face of others. Karter acknowledges them, but he doesn’t pride himself on them. He is what one would consider an adrenaline junkie, and to get that burst of energy when all else fails, or to defend his pride, whichever comes first, Karter continually puts himself in...precarious situations, and isn’t blind to it.

Karter is flighty, and liable to run from situations, even if it leaves others at risk. He’s selfish and he knows if, and sadly, he has no wish to change things on that front. He feels insecure about a number of things, and for this reason he wears his hoodie constantly, and someone bugging him to take it off- even if just idly- can cause him to snap. He hates being touched and ordered around, more than anything, and it’ll hit a sensitive point for him. He’s trained himself as an actor, and plays it when he needs to. He’s had it tough, but has overall allowed that to harden his will.

Karter does have a soft and supportive side, a side that connects to someone. Once he’s connected to someone, he'll stick with them as long as possible. He tries not to become reliant on them, but this rarely works. In turn, he offers support, trust, and love. He hates showing the softer side of himself, even though he acknowledges that it exists.

Backstory: Karter was born in Loguetown. He had six sisters and two brothers. When he was eight, his father went mad in a drunken rage after his mother's death. One of his brothers, and four of his sisters were killed. His elder brother fled with Karter's twin sister. Karter fought back, which was how he obtained the scar along his neck, and the one on his wrist. He left a mark of his own though, a scar on his father's arm. His father fled, leaving 8 year old Karter with his 12 year old sister, Addilyn. She raised him until he was 14 years old, when he set off on his own as a wanderer, and at age 17, he joined up with a pirate crew in hopes of one day creating a better life for himself and his sister.

Karter never forgot though. He never forgot his father's face when he’d attacked. He never forgot his father saying he’d come back and finish what he’d started. Karter decided he needed to get stronger, gain all the skills he possibly could, so he could be better prepared if and when the time came.

Karter always had dreams of sailing. Of being unattached to any one town, travelling, so when the chance presented itself, in a heartbeat, he took it.


Aspiration: Make a better life for himself and his sister, preferably by obtaining some wealth or status through joining up with a crew.

Abilities:



-Martial arts: In a mixed style that incorporates minimal Karate aspects with a Taekwondo base. Often relies on quick, light movements such as hand techniques and swift kick attacks as he relies incredibly on mobility. Has been training for six years. His favourite attacks for close range include open-handed strikes to the neck or shoulder, jabs at the chest, and kicks that require only straightforward attacks. He CAN use other techniques, but such are his favoured, as well as blocks and basic self-defence.

-Busoshoku Haki: Haki that allows him to use his own spiritual energy to create a temporary, moderate shield around him.

-Sleight of Hand: High dexterity, specifically used to pick locks and occasionally pickpocket.

-Close-range weapon user, with a favouritism for daggers. He uses this primarily to assist, rather than to take an opponent on alone.

-Stealth Sniper: Karter is incredibly stealthy, as he’s spent the majority of his life sneaking around, trying not to be seen, and with some practice, while not a sharpshooter by any means, he has decent aim with long-range weapons, and often carries with him a small crossbow.
