Hi there. I've been on this site for some time, and I've tried being part of or even starting a lot of different group based RPs in my time, but all of them invariably die off or stop before they begin or shortly after they start. People have busy lives, they lose interest, and it becomes nigh impossible to coordinate upwards of even six or five people even with off-site platforms like Discord. So I'd be interested in keeping it as small and manageable as possible by keeping it to only two people.
Have you ever been interested in RPing in the universe of Eichiro Oda's One Piece? Sailing the Grand Line with a crew of diverse characters, defeating powerful enemies and growing in infamy as you approach that incredibly elusive, ever-famous end goal: the One Piece itself? Well I have an offer for you. In the world of One Piece, set during the timeskip where the Straw Hats were separated after the events of Marineford, you can create a character that I will serve as a 'DM' for, for lack of a better term.
DM, or dungeon master for people outside of TTRPG circles, is a term that refers to someone in a roleplaying scenario that pre-builds and plays for a majority of the non-player characters as part of the universe, creates a majority of the conflict, and introduces much the world that's been built for the 'player'. I would be interested in doing this for anyone who I feel meets my standards of literacy and has a lot of creativity and passion behind a One Piece based project like this.
Build and form members of a crew, creating and playing as many or as few characters as you would like while I can create and play the rest. Explore strange islands from both the canon of One Piece and new ones. Grow more powerful, play as different races such as Skypieans, Fishman and others, and write an excellent story as we create something hopefully as tragic, heartfelt, funny and memorable as the canon that's touched so many lives over its run.
I prefer a literate but not very lengthy style of roleplay. Meaning I prefer at most three or so paragraphs for a post, while one to one and a half on average is perfectly fine. I'm not a coding master, so I don't have much to offer beyond just the written word. But I can promise I put a lot of hard work and effort into creating interesting characters, stories and enemies to interact with along the way. If you have any interest, or would like to ask any further questions that aren't answered here, feel free to message me over DMs and we'll go from there to see if we're compatible.
Thank you!
